hi! My friends and I have been saving up to vacation in Florida for some time.. We live in Canada =_= and it's suuuper boring here. so i was wondering- South Beach Miami, Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando, or Siesta Key beach??? We're 18-19 (univ. freshmen), and planning to go during spring break. could...
WOW! That's a toss up! I am originally from PA, but for the past 3 years have lived in FL. I have been to South Beach, that is on other side of state from me. SB is nice!
I have been to Orlando a few times, but never to Hard Rock Hotel. I hear it is great there! Orlando of course has so many attractions! Orlando/Kissimee there is Disney World, with all its various parks (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon and MGM Studios) There is also in that same area Sea World, Universal Studios, Gator farm, and a couple water parks, dinner shows (Arabian Knights,Medieval Times, a western show, etc, etc) Also air boat rides and horseback riding.
Siesta Key Beach, I know nothing about. I've always wanted to tour down around the Keys!
Another place you might find interesting is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach is another prime Spring Break scene, a lot to go see and do there too! I've been there once a couple years ago, not for Spring break, I'm well far from that age! The motel we stay at was La Quinta, it was a great hotel! Only thing was it wasn't right on the water. At the time it was the only hotel with vaccancies, for not having a reservation. There were a few spring breakers there then! Good Luck! And enjoy, just play safe!
