Anyone know about a hotel in San Francisco, CA called (I think) Telegraph Hill Hotel?

I was doing a tree for one of my friends and on he grandfather's WWI registration card, it read that he was a cook at the Telegraph(I think) Hill Hotel in San Francisco. I could not make out the name of the street, but I do know that it was 491 Green something street... could anyone help me out on the location...

Could the address be 491 Greenwich Street? That would be on Telegraph Hill just below Coit Tower.

I don't think the Hotel exists anymore a quick google search for the address shows a commercial art gallery in that address. The first hit on the google search shows a store front that could have been a hotel entrance, so perhaps the building has been converted to use as apartments above the commercial ground floor.

One other search for images found a picture of the hotel taken in 1905 Same building shape with no windows. The hotel was converted to use as a food store in 1917 toward the end of WW1.
