If your active duty military, do they still want you to be 21 to rent a hotel room?

I am currently stationed in Pensacola, Fl and I will be taking leave in about a week. I would like to visit my family before I leave for Korea. I would also like to take my girlfriend out to the beach for the weekend. Would there happen to be some bend in the rules for this maybe?

Your job has nothing to do with the policy of the hotel. There are some hotels that will rent to 18+. You will need a credit card in your name. not a bank card or debit card.

You or your girlfriend are going to have to do some research. Look on different travel sites and hotel sites. I would verify that the hotel you want to stay at will allow you to check in, no matter what their web sites states. Call the front desk at the hotel-during day time hours when you have a better chance of talking to the hotel manager

CERTAIN HOTEL chains are more open

Try Super 8, they ususally rent to 18 year olds
Also, try non-chain hotels - they tend to be more open, but will require cash and a deposit

In your case, you can hire a hotel room.
