John, based on the location you provided, this Hilton hotel is located in the Financial District of San Francisco, where some of the best businesses in SF are satiated. So it is extremely hard to find a hotel around $150 per night in this area.

Then I suggest you to give a thought to Royal Pacific Motor Inn.

This hotel is located on the edge of Chinatown, within walking distance to the Financial District. It is an AAA 3 Diamond property, given its location and a comprehensive range of amenities, its nightly rates are unbelievably great: just around $110 for a standard king room, and $120 for balcony king, and $130 for executive room!!!! Really a great value for the location!

Its featured facilities include free wifi, exercise room, sauna, guest laundry, free parking and in-room coffee and snacks! It is hard to find a comparable hotel to Royal Pacific Motor Inn at the same price range in this area!

Check out the Van Ness corridor if you are worried about those less fortunate than you making your stay unpleasant. Otherwise, consider the airport area and use BART.
