Folks, we heard every step the people above us made.  They were not doing anything wrong - just walking around their room.  Our room was not quiet by any means.  If you look through TripAdvisor, you will see others who have complained about the same issue at Lookout Lodge.  If you like a quiet room, my advice to you is not stay here.

When I mentioned this to the owner, he said all hotels are like this and it is normal.  He went on to say that he hears people above him at his personal residence on the property but since he only hears it above his kitchen and not his bedroom, it is not a problem for him.

Do not count on the WiFi to work.  It did not work in our room, but did work when I walked outside 50 feet closer to the office.  I told the owner, Robert, this and he said in so many words that since the WiFi is "free" I could not complain about it not working.  Nice!

There are over 150 places to stay in Eureka Springs.  If I were you, do what I plan on doing next time, stay somewhere else.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the rooms were clean, well kept and updated.  We had a great view off the balcony in the back.   I also enjoyed the fact that there was an adults only floor.   Definitely would stay here again.

Very clean however location leaves a bit to be desired. Beware if you have to checkout early for any reason. Since they have a 48 hour cancellation policy that they are apparently rigid about, you will pay.
I often try to stay at independly owned establishments, but never here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge.  The rooms were clean and well kept and the owners were very friendly and helpful.  I especially liked that there seemed to be returning guests.  That says a lot about a business.

Owners were very helpful, I felt like we definitely got our moneys worth, rooms are decorated real cute, very "woodsy" feel, owners gave us lots of information on local restaurants & such, they were very attentive. Would stay here again (but I like trying new places;-)

You would never believe it's as nice on the inside when you drive by.  The owners, Robert and Sonja were very pleasant, helpful and willing to give advice on places to go and things to do.  The room was very clean and tidy. Not a lot of "extras" but that helps to keep the price reasonable.  They seem to enjoy their business as well as the people who visit. We would definitely stay here again.
