The good: great staff, affordable rates, plenty of parking, microwave and fridge, soft towels, pet friendly and WIFI.
The bad: pet smells, outdated decor, needs dusting, thin walls with noisy neighbors, not in downtown and no fitted sheets on the beds.
We decided on a getaway to Eureka Springs for the weekend and found an affordable option at the Rodeway Inn. This hotel had a lot going for it. It was a reasonable distance away from downtown yet you can be there in minutes. There was a lot of parking and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I couldn't ask for more from any hotel staff. The sign said it was a family operated place and I think they take great pride in it. I thought it was a nice touch having a microwave and a fridge in the room. Overall, the room was clean.
I did have a few issues with my stay. Our room had a noticeable pet smell. Because of the rainy weather, we really noticed the odor due to the dampness. I am sure they try really hard to clean up after any pet guests but I suppose you can never really get rid of it. Being a pet-friendly place is great but it does come with some consequences. The decor of the room was definitely outdated. I would place it in the mid-1980's. We also noticed a few dusty locations around the headboard and lamp areas. One thing that bothered us was the use of flat sheets in place of fitted sheets on the mattresses. I hate waking up to a clump of sheets under me. Also, the walls are really thin. We found out that the place is a favorite of bikers and they can get loud. Don't get me wrong, they were friendly guests but if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this may not be the best option.
If you are looking for a place to stay with a pet, then I would recommend this hotel for your needs. If you are looking for something quiet and closer to downtown, then you might want to pass.

Very satisfied with the room, but the lady at the desk this morning when I came in to get my breakfast, I don't think she could possibly have been more unfriendly. She just got up and walked off without saying a word. I was the only one in the room. The breakfast definitely leaves something to be desired: bananas, cereal, juice, a pitcher of milk labeled "water" and packaged pastries.
