OK first off the staff couldn't be better! I would give 5 stars for Larry and Gretchen. They are wonderful and should be working in a 5 star hotel! The room eh.. Walls are super thin heard everything the neighbors were doing (if you know what I mean) Also, found dried blood on the sheets DISGUSTING! Water pressure SUCKED and I was actually a little scared to even take a shower. We also brought our own pillows and blankets (thank god) I doubt we will stay there again just wasn't up to our standards. It's good for a cheap place to stay in a pinch I suppose.

This was our third time to stay here but it will, unfortunately, be our last. The staff are very kind but that's where the greatness of this cheap motel ends. When we first stayed here in 2008, we had decided to spend one final night on our honeymoon in ES and just decided to get a hotel since our cottage was already booked for that night. We paid $34.95 and didn't expect much but were surprised by how nice the room was and the jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. We returned the next year for our anniversary and just opted to stay here because we were trying to save money in our first year of marriage. Again, it was great. We returned this weekend and stayed from 2/14/15-2/16/15. It was over $80/night. The room was filthy. Dust on the entertainment center, water stains on the ceiling, a ceiling tile coming dislodged in the bathroom, trash behind one of the night stands, only ONE sheet on the bed in the middle of winter and a crusty old blanket in a drawer and a broken phone. Our desire to save some money did not pay off this time. We unfortunately, will not be back.

I gave this place 2 stars for how adorable Larry in the front office his. He was kindness and charm itself. But otherwise, ick. I picked it because they offered 2 queen beds instead of doubles like their neighbors.  The rooms were just a ugly as their pictures show on their website, but in the photos you can't tell that the threadbare carpets are damp from humidity, or see the shower curtain mold. The website says free breakfast. The room literature qualifies it as continental breakfast. It was coffee, Wonder bread and a toaster, mini cinnamon rolls, Raisin Bran, a sugar-coated cereal, and milk. No juice, no fruit, no protein,  no leftover pizza, no yogurt, nada. The room was cheap, but I got little value for my money.
