I'll be honest, I worked here. But that really has no bearing on this review.

This is probably the nicest Day's Inn in the United States. That's actually something we heard said by a regional manager from Wyndham. And he's right: the property has a lot of upgrades you don't typically find in a select service hotel. From the beautiful fireplace in lobby to the indoor pool and jacuzzi, this place is actually really nice.

On top of that, the staff are great. Knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. The location isn't bad even if you're having to book for something like the Prescott Rodeo. Traffic is light, nearby restaurants are great, and the accommodations are comfortable. I know, because I actually stayed in the hotel for a short time during power outages at home one winter.

I recommend it for anyone visiting family, or attending a wedding and Windmill Farms, or for anyone looking to save some cash and still be close enough to Prescott for the drive to be an easy one.

I was hesitant to stay here because I had been to a Days Inn in Lancaster, PA, which was an awful experience.  However, my friend lives in this area and this was the only place with available rooms on the days we came to visit.  I must say I was surprised at the night and day difference compared to the other Days Inn I stayed at.  My guess is that they must be independently owned because other than the name, there were no similarities.

We arrived late and were greeted with a friendly smile.  The room was easy to find, super clean, spacious and even had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker which I did not expect.  I took a baths here, I wasn't afraid of what might be lurking in the tub like the last Days Inn!

The breakfast was good, typical continental.  The waffle iron was a nice touch and since we came down just before they cleared the food items, there wasn't a wait to make waffles.

My only complaint, if at all, was that our room was not made up during our stay.   They were already cleaning the rooms at 9am, and we didn't leave our room until noon, I figured they would come back around and do the rooms that were occupied in the morning, but they didn't do anything in our room.  It wasn't a big deal, we did not need new linens and we didn't have an overflowing trash can or anything so I didn't mention it to the front desk or manager.

Check out time is 11 and we had lost track of time, so the guy at the front desk called us around 11:10 to just see if we needed a late check out, we said no and he said no rush, he just wanted to know if we needed more time.  As we were leaving he apologized for the call and said he wasn't trying to rush us.  The call was a courtesy so it did not bother me at all.

Unless we decide to stay in a nearby town on our next trip to this area, we will be staying at this Days Inn again!

Very nice place, friendly staff and very clean.  Would have liked the continental breakfast a bit more if they would serve a meat, but no one really does so, you know

Nice property. Minimal breakfast. Very courteous and helpful staff. Rooms are typical Days Inn and  rather spartan. For a Days iInn it's a nice property. I recommend.

Ok, so this review is really late in coming, but these folks deserve to be recognized no matter how late.

I used this hotel to put up my daughter, her husband and their infant son when they came to visit late last summer. They were there a week. The staff bent over backward to ensure everything was perfect and even threw in the use of a crib for the whole week. In addition to the standard amenities, there was also both a fridge and a microwave in the room. Not sure if the kids ever used the pool or hot tub or not, but there was a real nice indoor pool. We ate out most of the time, but they did enjoy the breakfast. The property is newish and is well lit with lots of parking. And the lobby is very inviting with a huge fireplace and a spacious seating area.

I've stayed in a lot of mid-grade hotels in my time and this place is head and shoulders above any Days Inn you'll find and easily as good or better than 90% Hampton Inns that I usually book for 1.5x the price.

I'm always a little nervous about booking a stay for someone else, but with this place it was a double win. I saved a good chunk of $$ AND had the peace of mind that my guests were well taken care of. Next time I have anyone out or if I should find myself in need of a place to stay in the Chino/Prescott area, it won't even be a question.

FWIW, I understand that this DI franchise is owned by a local businessman who actually gives a crap about the town and his employees. It's not your typical franchise operation where the owner lives a billion miles away on some island and rules the empire by email and conference calls. Credit where credit is due.
