I love Little Daisy. Great price, good size room, walking distance to Old town Cottonwood.... if you like walking. The chick that runs it is awesome, I think her name is Danika. This is definitely the best place to stay in Cottonwood, and it's family-owned and operated, so that's a plus.

after running screaming from the sundial motel in old town cottonwood, we picked the little daisy motel because it appears to be an 'old hwy 89a' motel.  the room was small, but sufficient.  the shower was dinky, but plenty of hot water.  dogs are allowed and the price was right.  we will visit again

I've stayed at the LD regularly since the 1990s.  It's been my motel of choice because I can bring my dog.  That's a big plus for me, because I can take her hiking with me.  I've always found the LD to be clean and quiet.  The service is friendly and helpful; on my last trip, the desk clerk told me about the dog park nearby and gave me directions.  However, on this most recent trip, my room smelled so strongly of cleaner or disinfectant or air Freshener that I got a headache.  My eyes burned.  I didn't have a window to open, so I put the dog crate across the door and left the door open for a couple of hours.  I went to Safeway and bought a soy candle and burned it.  I ran the air conditioner.  Nothing has helped.  I can taste the chemicals.  Big YUCK!  Last stay at the Little Daisy for me.
Update:  I left something in my room, and they promptly called me while I was down the street at Crema getting coffee.  I was able to swing by and pick it up before I headed out of town.

The husband and I have stayed here a couple of times and the selling points are the price and location. It's $60 for a room (depending on room and # of people it could be a bit more, but not much) and it's located in the middle of all the wineries that we like to visit.

The first time we stayed here we had a nice sized room and it appeared clean and tidy. I thought for the price this place was good and I would stay again.
On our second and probably last stay at Little Daisy we were placed in a very small room with no heat. At this time of year it is still a bit chilly in Northern AZ in the morning and night. By the time we noticed the heat wasn't working it was kind of late at night and the office was closed. Now the owners do live on site so I suppose I could have bothered them around 11pm to fix the heat, but I wore a sweater to bed and stayed under the blankets and it wasn't too bad.
Now the bed was so uncomfortable and the pillow almost seemed non existent. Both my husband and I had a horrible nights sleep.

For the price you can't go wrong and if you get one of the front rooms your stay may not be too bad, but I think next time I travel up north I will look for a new place to stay.

Its a dump, wifi didn't work. When I arrived I had to wait 15 mins. for someone to come to the front desk. The room u was small, dated and dirty.

This place was cheap, which is why we stayed there...however you do get what you pay for. The rooms were clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and the toilet had some issues. If you're looking for a good nights sleep, look elsewhere...if you are trashed and just need to pass out for awhile, this may be your cheapest option.

Even though I had only been here once before, the second time I stayed there a couple months later they remembered me. Makes me feel special!

Wait, maybe it's a bad thing they remember me... lol.

I rented two rooms at the LD hotel and they were just fine.  Nice and clean.  The lady up front could not have been nicer.  It is right in the middle of town so if you want to see the night life there are two local bars to walk to right across the street and a circle k next door for munchies.  The rooms came with nice flat screen tvs a refrigerator and a warm bed to sleep in, what else could you want?  I didn't try the wifi so I'm not sure if it worked but she did give me the code. And if your lucky you'll get free entertainment from one of the local residents.  Give them a try if you are on a budget and want your dollars worth.

Good thing we had a reservation - they were booked on a Friday night in October. The woman behind the desk wasn't overly friendly, but just friendly enough. Regular key but plenty of locks to make you feel safe. About a dozen rooms with cinder block walls. A/C was nice. No hair dryer so bring your own if needed. WiFi was available at times and unavailable at others. Shower was hot and strong. Yea!

You know the saying you get what you pay for, well this is the perfect example of this place. We got the deluxe room with 2 queens (which were really doubles) and a twin bed in the front, room 12. Let me tell you, the twin bed was slanted and I kept sliding off while sleeping, the sheets were dirty and my sister has an eye infection now. We were supposed to stay another 2 nights but decided to leave early because it wasn't even worth it. They really need some serious upgrades, or they can just stay being a meth motel

Stayed here a few weeks ago. I was up there for some CEUs and had to stay a week. The owners were so nice, and the room was very comfortable. It was walking distance to a few food options. I will definitely be back! Very affordable rates!
