One star is very generous for this place. I paid for a executive room with fridge and microwave but that did not happen. The front desk was rude, the room smelt awful, and the bed was very uncomfortable. Also the free breakfast was a joke, it was super cold and gross! Never stay here!!!

Not the greatest, but I've stayed at worse. My view is a homeless encampment.

Looks like the pictures.  A mere 20 minutes from the airport.  Stayed here on my way to Flagstaff.

This area is God awful.  The service was "eh".  The room had crickets IN in, which I chased around and tried to smash.  And the shower had NO hot water.

I should've brought my own tent if I wanted to go camping!

Wow this was a tough one. Staff was nice but as they told us another weekend short staffed day. No room avail at 4:30 took a king room with nothing not even HBO. I  booked a double queen w fridge and microwave. 4 night stay and on the 4th night got the double queen room. Packed hotel with some staff trying really hard others not so much. What u expect at a less expensive hotel. No soap, shower curtain or towels but a nice note promising to come back in a few hours with the supplies and they did about 5pm or so. Could be better if it was properly staffes.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was awful. I felt very uncomfortable in the room, couldn't sleep. We ended up checking out at 4am the day we were leaving.. The hotel is RIGHT NEXT to the highway so you hear the cars/trucks/motorcycles all night long.

Just a very uncomfortable hotel atmosphere.

Also, they charge a $2.50/day service charge. They over charged me $5, but when I called, they did reverse the charge.

I stayed here for weekend wedding that was in town. The hotel was much nicer than I expected! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and one of the best free breakfasts I've ever had (i.e. eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, fruit, waffle maker, etc.). We were running late the day of our checkout and the front desk was kind enough to extend out check out time. The only downside was no fridge, which would have been nice to have given the heat.

I will say that the hotel room was clean and I felt safe.  Now for the rest of the story.   We stayed three days.  When I checked in I was told there would be a $20 a day fee for incidentals.  ???  This is best western not Hyatt.  No room service etc.  Ok, that will be refunded to your card when you check out.  The second day, we asked for additional towels and coffee.  What we got was neither one. AND.they didn't clean the bathroom at all.  Called down stairs, we were told we had to come down and pick them up.  Went down stairs to the lobby and waited 20 min because they have one man who works the desk and he works VERY SLOWLY.  On Sunday, following the Pro Bowl, went back to our room and our keys weren't working.  Went back down to the front desk, same man at the desk by himself and it took nearly 45 minutes for him to check in two guests.  This employee ticked off guest/potential guests on both nights I had to go to the front desk  and ONLY because a couple was nice enough to let me go ahead of them after waiting to ask to have the keys reactivated.  THEN the topper of it all.  Go to check out on Monday morning and the woman at the desk (Kelly) says you don't get your refund for up to 15 days, pulls out a piece of paper and very matter of factly informs me that "you signed it!  I asked for a receipt and she says "you don't get one, you booked through Expedia!"  She was RUDE AND CONDESENDING.  I said I would be complaining and she smugly said "OK, go ahead".  This only added to the bad taste I had for my entire visit in Phoenix.  No thanks to this hotel and No thanks to returning to Phoenix.

Dog friendly. Clean and well maintained. Decent hot breakfast including waffles, eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Very friendly and hospitable night staff. You can tell they take pride in their establishment. Couldn't ask for more from an economy motel!

The hotel faces onto a very busy frontage road. for a quiet night's rest, ask for a room on the back side.

I am tethering this from my mobile hotspot, as I know they have wifi but David happens to be a rude and condescending person, so I am too afraid at this point to get in another argument with him. My company has been looking for a hotel to start sending our technicians too in phoenix that is near our new training center. I have been to hotels all over the country for this same reason as in the past we have used Aryes, Days Inn, or Marriot. All have been superb. However we called, made prepaid reservations for here. Upon arrival David told me that he has the credit card but that was just because my company had called, and that I would have to pay for the room. At this point I explained I had been all across the country all week and stayed at competing hotels with no issues. He then in a very rude way, told me my company explicitly wants me to pay for the room. Given I am in management I know this is false. So I called my superior (our service Director) and woke him out of bed at 12:30am. David told him he would need to fax in paperwork, his ID, amongst other things. Yet this whole time, David is proudly telling me he has the company credit card number on file. Given my superior is at home in bed with no access to a fax machine at midnight... Okay fine, I will just pay for the room and my company will give me a check to reimburse me. I ask David for his last name or employee ID number, so I can call his superiors. He flat out refuses this, When I ask for his managers name, it isnt until that I state I am calling corporate that he gives it to me, and with a whole lot of attitude. Even then I do not know if it is real. Hell I couldnt even get out of him what my room charge will be. I am still in the dark about that. Then with no explanation on where my room is, I am left to hunt this massive hotel for my room. Drove around for a while, ended up back in the lobby. Another gentleman whom I am guessing is security by his sheer size, was more than happy to help me out in direction. Props to that guy, hes the only good thing about this place. I will absolutely be recommending to my company that we send all our techs to a competing hotel. Maybe my company will reimburse me for my wifi since David seems more interested in playing Candy Crush Saga on his phone than providing a quality customer service.

HORRIBLE!  Backs up to the 17, fine but on Thursdays there is a car show somewhere near and they do burnouts down the frontage road and the parking lot! Good luck sleeping and I'm a car guy!  The roads are super small and the neighborhood is a bit sketchy as well.  Like park under light sketchy.  Even the bestwestern 800 number says they have a reputation.  Luckily I was just passing through town....

The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast is a plus! The pool is nice, rooms are very clean, and it's across the street from a mall.

This hotel looks ok when you walk in, it's pretty clean and does look like the photos. However, although the staff is kind there is a big issue with the bedding here and they can only tell you what they can't do about it. The rooms wreak of bleach and chemicals to the point where we walked in and sneezed for a few hours nonstop until realizing that's what it was. Tried to sleep anyway because it was too late to get another hotel and the chemical smells from the sheets were so strong that even an oil diffuser and anything else we could try didn't help at all. Once we spoke with the front desk he just said it happens and there is nothing he could do that all their laundry has heavy bleach etc. How comforting. So we did not sleep at all and the beds are also very noisy so if you move around at all even to get up or change positions you will definitely hear it. We were not offered any compensation or refund and could have asked but were surprised at how bad it was and will just never stay here again. BEWARE, stay elsewhere.

Booked a room with this hotel weeks in advance to watch my best friend graduate from college.  We confirmed our reservation the day before and we were told we had until midnight to check in.  After a 5-1/2 hour drive, and well before midnight, we are greeted by Mark at the front desk who tells us we never made a reservation.  After showing him the confirmed reservation, he tells us he gave our room away and we would have to take a room with 1 King bed (there are 3 of us).  When we told him that would not be acceptable, he offered no further assistance to make things right, call another hotel, nothing......so at 11:45pm we are in the parking lot with no hotel room to check in to and he is in the lobby reading a newspaper.

Stayed at this Best Western when I was in Phoenix recently and it was actually pretty comfortable. Yes, the hotel backs up right against I-17 but honestly, I feel like the highway noise was barely noticeable.

I consider this Best Western to be well maintained and a good place to stay for an inexpensive price.
