Stayed here during The March Meet at FAMOSO.  We had 5 rooms reserved and most of us had stayed at Motel 6's in the past.  They accidently charged 4 rooms as double when they were singles. (Very busy at check in)  Promptly refunded the difference.  The staff was great (Morgan's a hoot!), rooms were clean, grounds were kept.  It's a typical Motel 6.  I've stayed in my share, they work for me, some better than others.  This one I'd stay at again.

It's a "well used" motel. Staff was helpful, but after waiting over an hour for them to clean my room I went somewhere else.  Won't go back, too many others choices in the area

The WORST motel 6 I have ever been too!! Infested with ROACHES!! not little roaches but HUGE roaches..as if they've been eating & living there for quite some time. I stayed no more than 10 - 20 minutes! Did not even have time to throw back the sheets. But if I did, I know I would have found more roaches!! And staff had the nerve to ask me if I wanted another room! ummm NO!! I immediately asked for a refund and I was still charged for the room 5 days later!!! When I called the girl said she couldnt find my reservation. I gave you my name and room number how convenient!! I stayed at the Days Inn off California Blvd. Waaay better. I paid double but after that incident...I will not be cheap again!

Do yourself a favor... do not book here. I promise that you will check into your room and will promptly return to front desk for a refund. So save yourself the trouble, pay the extra $3 and stay somewhere else... anywhere else.

First off, we are not "prissy" travelers - we don't mind economy rooms... we have stayed in many. But none have been so bad that we had to request a refund. Never. That is, until we checked into this Motel 6.

The first room we got was filthy. I do not exaggerate when I say that there was "biological" matter on the bedspread and floor. It was the GROSSEST thing I have ever seen. So we requested another room and the front desk obliged. However, the next room was just as bad. When we pulled the bed spreads off of the bed, the blankets were stained, had cigarette burns and holes in them. The sheets were also stained and the pillows were so worn, they were about an inch thick.

On the positive side, the the staff were great... they let us move to that second room and were very nice about refunding our money when we refused to stay.

But in the end, we paid just a little more and moved to the Vagabond Inn on Knudsen. It wasn't the Ritz, but it was much cleaner than the vile rooms we saw at the Motel 6.

No first floor/non-smoking rooms avail. except one upstairs. The front desk clerk offered a handicapped room with the shower/bthrm just wider than the regular rooms. I gladly accepted for these reasons: my car parked in front of my door, first flr/non-smoking, near office.

There was "no disturb" signs avail. The front office accepts "no disturb" requests then passes the msg on to the maids.

No fridge or microwave in rooms. There's HBO.

The pillow case and bed sheets were NOT changed. I repeat, NOT changed. I pulled the motel6 blanket and see half an inch black curly hair on the flat sheet. I picked it off. Then I flipped to see the other side of the pillowcase only to see a thin inch and a half long hair. I had to pick that hair off too. What choice did I have. Demand the front desk clerk to get me clean sheets immediately just a  couple hours before midnight. I just sucked it up and crawled under the sheets. I'm tired.

Good price to stay here just $29.00 a night.

I did mistaken studio 6 for motel6. Two motels close to another. Motel6 is a bit hard to find. Its located behind another motel.

4-star rating for a 2-star motel. Thick walls, heard nothing of the d-bags in the room next to us. Air conditioner was noisy but did its job well. TV was small, but a decent number of channels. Microwave, fridge, and free wifi in the room. Milt's coffee shop next door. Totally served its purpose.

Four stars I say? Yes! Believe it! The hotel staff are friendly, room was very reasonable (thanks to booking.com ), mini-fridge & microwave in room, free wifi!!, laundry on site, conveniently located to food, Starbucks, gas, 7-11, fwy... Much more than I expected. Very clean room. Only critiques I had were the shower head is for short people, at 5'7, I had to scrunch for it to get the top of me; bed was a bit hard for my taste. Would def stay at again and recommend.

Yes I give this specific Motel 6 a 4star rating. Hotels were all booked up for a big competition and had no other place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the room. Very clean and Simple. Flat screen TV, microwave, mini fridge, free wifi, friendly staff all for a reasonable price. Very quiet at night plenty of lighting for parked cars. I would definitely stay here again.

This location does not use the standard Motel 6 WiFi service (you know with the XXXX-XXXX format code they give you each 24 hours) but uses their own. My fellow workers say it appears this location's WiFi service can only take a limited number of users and then it drops guests. Call to verify, but I think I'm right.

By far the worst motel experience in my life! That's saying a lot considering I've stayed at the worst of the worst on Union Ave as a kid. My mother got me, my gf, and her kids a room for two nights at the Olive Tree location in Bakersfield for the affordability. Considering I already knew the quality of the clientele that typically goes there, I shouldn't ever considered it. We literally got to our room at 10:30 at night exhausted and ready to just go to bed. We didn't really care that the tv was missing considering it's Bakersfield, but it was unusual that the fridge and the microwave were moved near the bathroom and unplugged. We went to sleep anyways, because we weren't there for anything other than sleep. The next morning I woke up and discovered that there was a car window that had been shattered next to our car, so I chose to be a good samaritan and report it to the office, but the lady didn't really act like she cared. Later on during our busy day I mentioned the lack of a tv and the moved appliances to my mother, so she called the hotel to report it and they claimed "oh we've known for days it's been gone." So after our long day we went back for our second night to lay awake in bed as people partied loudly until 12am. As if our stay wasn't bad enough already, we get a call from my mother 4 hours away in Stockton on our way home that the desk lady Claudia was reporting theft for the  tv that we mentioned was mia. What?!?!? They let us stay another night even though they saw it missing when they cleaned the room? They let us stay even after my mother reported it missing? This makes no sense at all. My mother proceeds to call the cops herself because the desk lady claimed that she made a report. Guess what? She lied and there was no report at all, meaning it wasn't only deformation of character, but it was also a major lie. The cop goes to the motel and checks out the video from the cameras and we were proven innocent, and he also mentioned that this whole situation was a joke with an angry tone. I also called this lady Claudia to tell her the door between our rooms was unlocked and that i thought it was weird for them to allow us to stay the second night if they thought we were thieves, but she unprofessionally talked over me and hung up on me. This is the service you get from the supervisor? Huh? This lady was very unprofessional and couldn't even check the tape herself before pointing out guilt. The following day there was a $300 charge on my mothers account from Motel 6! This was by far the worst portrayal of service I've ever seen. My gf's 11 yr old daughter was crying in the car saying "why do people need to steal?" Thanks Motel 6 for traumatizing a little girl and making our blood boil. Do not go to this location at all!!! It's not worth the 10 bucks you'll save!

Bed was hard. Shower head was very low had to bend over made for people who are 5 feet tall or less. Small. It wasn't dirty it was just older although it seemed like it was a remodel. Small room and hardwood floors felt icky on the feet.

Worst place to stay. Bad area not worth your time. People walk, hanging out side past 11pm very sketchy place to stay. 10-15$ more somewhere else gets you peace of mind AND sleep..

This place was great for the $40 a night price. It looks like they recently went through a renovation so make sure you check the dates on the reviews. This place was Nothing fancy but the rooms were clean, fridge, microwave, AC was ice cold. Sheets looked brand new and actually softer than hotels I've stayed at for 2 or 3 times the price. Front desk attendant was as nice as could be, If I find myself in this area again I will stay here without a doubt.
