dont come here! i think i rather sleep in my car then here. we got our key card from the nun and she gave us a room that was already occupied. so she comes running to the door to tell us that the room was registered to someone else. Then she said i open another room for you down the hall. We get to the other room and the carpet had dark brown spots. my socks are white but by the time i went to the bathroom they were dirty i had to throw them away, and a horrible smell that we had to have the window open so at least fresh air comes in. i would NEVER come back to this place again...... definitly zero star but thats not an option

I have never seen such a horrible place to call a hotel. The second you open the door it wreaks of cigarettes. There are burn marks everywhere on the floors and even in the sink. There is no toilet paper holder, just toilet paper rolls. There is some form of blue goop stuck in the bathtub. They falsely advertised their pool it is the smallest pool i have ever seen. It looks more like a hot tub. And the free continental breakfast is a machine that spits out batter for waffles and a coffee machine. The TV has 5 basic channels and I didn't know there could be such horrible internet. Just to refresh a page it takes 5 minutes for it to load. Do not stay here.

Don't even go here! The only things clean in our room were the linens. The pillows smelled, there were sticky fingerprints on things, splatters on walls and doors... Grungy filthy carpet. The air or fabric refresher smell wore off before morning... If I hadn't needed to take aspirin and get horizontal for a few hours I would have left in a hurry!

I wish I could give it a zero.  Had to make a stop on the way to san fran. This place WAS the Rodeway in but i guess they havent changed the sign or have new owners.   We walked into our room and it was hott and musky and humid.  I have always walked in a hotel room and its usually freezing!  First thing i did was lift the blankets off the bed and the bed was covered in gross orange and yellow stains.  Total turn off.  Went back to the front and the nun was helping someone and said she would be right over to change our sheets.  We changed our minds about staying here bc i know i won't stop itching if we stayed there.  Had to get a refund and showed her the photos and she was like "no please dont take photos". Umm I shouldn't have to take photos if you kept the place clean and cool. Sorry

Drive a little more (20-30 miles). This place is filthy and is very close to a cow farm. If you can deal with the smell of manure, stained chairs and filthy rooms more power to you. The 1 star came from the complimentary waffle and so called coffee

The walk-in price is $39.99.

I give it 1-star for the price and 1-star for the free breakfast which is pretty decent.  Coffees, juices, milk, cereals and hot you-make-em waffles.

The room was very basic.
The dark green flat carpet cleanliness is questionable.
The A/C was loud.
The bed was uncomfortable.

It looks like they are in the process of upgrading. My bed was new and clean, the room smelled nice, well-placed flat screen TV with lots of channels, was (best of all) quiet. Temp control worked perfectly. My check-in process was quick though I had no reservation. WIFI was up and working very well. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I was overall considering the low price. True, the room needed painting and definitely new plumbing and fixtures. Maybe New flooring. It did appear that they were in process of some type of overhaul. Maybe new owners?

do not stop there/the worst motel ever, there was NO HOT WATER, THE INTERNET WAS NOT WORKING...and the TV direct was so bad..

I should of went with my gut when I arrived, the 1st room 126 I walked in and walked out it smelled so bad, I think someone died in there.. Then she gave me room 105... Better , had new floor no carpet... It was 11 pm when I checked in....who knew the hot water was out.... THEY DID and never said a word, just took my money..in the morning when to the office to complain there was no hot water she shrugged her shoulders and said oh well and said she didn't know when in fact another person was there and told her yes you did because I complained last night .....

No hot water, and No Internet...

I found this hotel to be recently remodeled the rooms were nice and cozy. You can't beat the price and it close to the 5 which makes it very convienent. Great bargain I must say!!!!

Checked-in on Mon night 9/15. The front desk clerk (i think Davis is his name) says WIFI is down that morning and will be fixed. Wednesday it was still out, called front desk and was told they are working on it. This morning, I checked-out it is still out. 4 days and 5 nights later no WIFI! I had to do my work at Starbucks and spent $4 a day. For $40 per day I paid and add $4 for Starbucks to get WIFI, should have just stayed somewhere else, pay $45 and would have WIFI at my room!

Everything was newly updated and staff was very kind and accommodating for our last minute stay.  Over all: good price + quick freeway access + comfortable beds + free breakfast = I'd stay here again.

Ugh, I should've read the reviews and I should've paid more money to stay across the street at the Best Western.

Despite taking well over 12-15 minutes to check me in after midnight (I was driving to LA from SF) because of the "stupid computer" I finally got into my room.

Minor things:

- Microwave beeping loudly every few minutes for no reason. (Guessing it was a bad model trying to remind the time to be set?). I unplugged it.

- Toilet made loud, irregular sounds ALL NIGHT. Could not unplug it ;)

- Weird, stale smell to the room. Tolerable.

- Sink loudly BLASTED water at me just from turning it on. It eventually settles and flows normally. This happened a couple more times.

Major things:

- Dead cockroach on the rug near the bathroom that I found in the morning. Perhaps I didn't see it the night before, or perhaps it crawled out and died in the middle of the night.

- No internet at all, let alone high-speed.

With the dead bug as the final straw, I politely asked for a *partial* refund in the morning at checkout. Instead of attempting to hear me out or be helpful, the woman who was at the front desk decided that the best course of action was to ARGUE WITH ME about everything. She tried to claim I was complaining past checkout time (it was around 10:57am; checkout was 11am). I showed her the time on my phone; she scoffed, saying something to the effect of "Oh, you made it by ONE minute."

She then asked me why I didn't request another room as soon as I saw all the issues. I mentioned that I didn't see the bug til morning, again mentioning that maybe it crawled out and died while I was asleep. She told me that she wasn't authorized to issue refunds. I mentioned that it's not uncommon for unsatisfied guests to dispute payment at such hotels with their credit-card companies, in which case I'd want the entire charge canceled. When she saw that I was calm and being rational, she settled down a bit and began trying to be helpful. She said she'd have to have the manager authorize the refund. I gave her my phone # and email address, just wanting to be out and finish my driving trip.

To no surprise, I received no contact from the manager.

Pay the extra money, stay across the street or anywhere else.

Clean. Updated.

This is a review based on the fact that this is a low budget motel.  It was recently updated with new beds, paint, and floors. The front desk clerk was helpful and checked me in quickly. The breakfast was minimal but up to expectations considering that this place charges under 75 bucks for a night for 2 people with a dog. If I was alone I might have felt a little insecure since it's a classic motel,  but that's a me thing, not a hotel thing. I mention it only as something to think about if you are a lone traveler.

Cons: low water pressure.  Oddly low shower heads. Door was sticky, had to bump it with my hip to open it.
