clean place to stay overnight if you are tired to death. we stayed at the closest room to the street with a 1 month old baby and had no problems with noise. i dont remember noise.
we paid about $50 for one bed.
room had a microwave, a fridge and an iron.

i wouldnt say you can compare it to a first class hotel but owners were great, housekeeper was friendly, room clean, price very good.

we were staying there in the beginning of august and didnt need AC.

A surprise to be sure!  The one and only bad thing was the bed was hard as a rock.  Other than that, nice room, quiet, and well priced.  Even has free wifi!

While it is not a 4 star hotel by city standards.  Given this rural area and it is the ONLY Motel in Dorris, it could have been a dump.  Instead it is a nice place to stay.

Could live with a better breakfast though.

OK, let's be real. This is a Motel, not a Hotel in the middle of nowhere CA. We needed a place to stay and didn't want to drive all the way to Klamath Falls with a cranky, crabby baby so we stopped here. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean, nice small kitchenette with fridge and microwave. The owner was very nice and helpful. Not too noisy except for the train every now and again.  For $42 a night it was a good find. It's definitely not a Holiday Inn or Best Western but it was good for what we needed. Only bad thing was there was no AC and it was very hot. The ceiling fan helped a bit but it was still stuffy.

This place is great! For less than $50, two adults got a clean, cute room with a huge, comfy bed, small fridge, microwave, hair dryer, etc. it's in the middle of nowhere (and I was skeptical) but we were pleasantly surprised. On future trips, we would stay here again, rather than pay higher prices for crappier rooms at chain motels. It truly is, as they say on their sign, "more value for the monies"... ;)

This hotel is definitely a surprise!  On my way home for the holidays I decided between fatigue and the icy roads to call it a night, and well, options are limited in the small (but cozy) town of Dorris.

The first shocker was the price- a total of $42 for the night, and at that rate did not expect much. Instead a nice queen bed, decent sized tv, large room, microwave, refrigerator, and kitchen style sink. The room also came with plenty of outlets (big problem for me as a computer geek).

It's not going to be fancy, but for the price a very nice, clean hotel to stay at!

Surprisingly nice! From the outside it looks like a setting from Twin Peaks, but inside the rooms are very modern and clean.

For $50 we got a single with a large bed, a fridge and microwave, ironing apparatus, two sinks, and a direct tv box. Plenty of outlets. There is a small heater that is sufficient. Bathroom is small, but pleasant and in good working order, with a tub. Checkout is 11am.

There is a wifi network but I can't find the password. Oh well!

This is a great place to stay, particularly considering there are not a ton of options around here. I was not expecting to find a place that was so nice.
