Very unprofessional.  They give your reservation away without calling you if you don't show up by midnight.  Otherwise, I'm sure it's fine as far as cheap motels go.

The man at the window was very rude. He acted like it was an inconvenience having me there. The room was very dark. Had nice TV's but very few HD channels making the TV pointless as the quality was bad. Advertised free breakfast on Priceline but there was none. Towels were stained. Heater didn't have temp settings so just stayed on unless you got up to turn it off. Man knocked on our door 15 minutes before check out time and told us it was time to go. I checked out five minutes before check out time and the man was waiting outside for the key as if I was late. Overall a very bad experience. One plus is there were a lot of free samples of random stuff. Deodorant etc.

I reserved a room for 4 nights through hotels.com 2 weeks before my trip to south cal. 3 nights before my reservation date I called the motel to cancel 3nights, but nobody respond to me, finally after 2days trying to contact them they answered, and agreed to cancel my reservation without mentioning to me that I have to contact hotels.com . when I arrived the clerk at the window didn't speak english, and was hard for me to communicate with him, adding to that he was rude, and disrespectful. The room was not that great, and they didn't have towels in the bathroom.
The night I stayed in carlton was terrible, and I won't suggest it to nobody. They don't even deserve the 1 star that I gave them.
    Service was bad.
    Cleaness was bad.
    Overview was terrible.

Couldn't even book it if I wanted to because the front desk woman didn't speak any English and every time I called she heard me then hung up on me. Which was 3 times. After that I moved on and I'm never looking back!

Since it was so cheap ($106 total for two nights and two persons) I had very low expectations. And got positively surprised, but it's still just what you pay for.

Pros: Low price, kinda good location, tv, mini fridge.

Cons: Hair from others in bed and found somebody elses spit or sperm on the bed.

Not the cleanest place i've been at but still not the worst either

The worst place ever, very unprofessional and argumentative, I walked in the room and it had a bad smell, I sat on the bed and strarted itching. I went to the window cause you can't even go in an office and the manager said there was something wrong with me that nothing was wrong with the room. So i Just left and called booking.com . Do not waste you money. It's dingy and smelly. Does not even deserve a star but it won't. Let me post.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The first thing you'll notice is the negativity of the owner of this establishment. He is extremely rude and unprofessional. He should be alot more appreciative of patrons that are spending their hard earned money to stay at this dump. I paid $81 to stay on a Saturday which is ridiculously over priced for the area. Now for the room... At first glance you'll see a little flat screen and a few cable channels. That's the only plus. The bed is harder than a rock and the sheets make you itchy and break out into hives. It's a small sized room that fits no more than two people. Before staying here consider the other motels in the area. You'll be better off.

Don't let your boyfriend book your stay if he doesn't usually book his own stay when he travels.

Mike had to work the Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach and since we didn't feel like driving back and forth we needed a place to stay... Well, by the time Mike made arrangements everything nearby the convention center was booked however, he did manage to find this little place.

    --- Tiny, so very personal.
    --- Very inexpensive.
--- Seemed like if everyone only had one car then you would be good with parking spots. So no worries with parking.
--- The front desk was kind.

    --- Bed was uncomfortable.
    --- Refrigerator wasn't cold enough.
    --- Smelled humid.
    --- Stains in suspicious areas.
--- Bathtub was stained with a light yellow-colored ring around the rim.

Nothing wrong with staying here but you do get what you paid for.

We ended up leaving within 15 minutes of being there and headed to the Courtyard Marriott.
