    I booked a room at the last minute last night at the end of an exhausting business trip because of its proximity to the airport.  The hotel is very new, with nice decor. What really stood out was the awesome staff - absolutely every staff person seemed generally friendly and very helpful.  In particular, the morning staff who managed to get me shuttled off to the airport waaaay too early in the morning with a smile. When I got to the airport, I realized that I had left a prescription I need to take several times a day back at the hotel.  While I figured that I'd have to make some frantic calls to my pharmacy when I landed, I called the hotel to see if there was anything they could do do to help me out, and as soon as I explained my situation the gentleman at the desk (sorry I can't remember your name, sir!) immediately offered to check my room and send the shuttle back to the airport with my meds...and they did just that in time for my flight and with still more genuine smiles.  I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my future trips to the Long Beach area.  Thank you to the staff and management of the hotel - it's sure to be a success with such a great team.

    PROS: Very clean, New facility and Friendly Staff

    -Bathroom does not have any sort of ventilation system. Def. no fan
    -Lighting is poorly designed
    -Parking Fee: $6.95! They will charge that daily parking fee to all their guests. When I spoke with operator on the phone...she said "Oh yes-we do charge parking fee and all hotels do. Why wouldn't we?"...ARE YOU SERIOUS? She def need some more training on customer service. Because of that conversation, I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone PERIOD.

    This hotel was perfect. My boyfriend and I wanted to have a nice quiet weekend to ourselves and that's exactly what we got. Check in was amazing, we arrived early and expected to just leave our bags in the lobby with the receptionist but they already had a room available. So we were let in right away. The room was great. Clean white sheets and everything was very well organized. We left for our day and came back. The room was cool but not cold, AC was wonderful for the hot weekend. The room was so cozy I asked my boyfriend if we could order in food instead of going to dinner. Everything was amazing. They have this little convince store down stairs a little pricey but at least you don't have to leave the hotel for basic things. Breakfast was delicious. Check out was simple and they didn't even mind that we left a little late. Thank you Jacquelene for getting us in so easily and Judith C. for making our room so comfy. We will definitely be back, we're already planning it out.

    To Visitors Looking for a hotel in this area that would include Long Beach Marriott Courtyard.

    It should be noted and documented for the record that the service at this location is extremely unprofessional and unethical, and management lack the ability to provide adequate customer service.

    Samantha the Front Desk Supervisor is amongst the the most unethical supervisor I've ever meet. She lack the ability to make guest feel welcomed and all the information that she provides is not consistent with the information received with the central reservation hub via the 1-800 number.

    People beware that this lady "Samantha" (a trained supervisor) woke us up in the middle of the night just to let us know that there was a parking fee that was not applied to our room charge.

    "This was here grand dilemma that could not wait till the morning to be resolved." Most Marriott Hotel from experience automatically charge the parking fee so we have never bothered with the situation in question or charge.

    I whom suffers from sleep deprivations for days at a time because I'm sensitive to noise and vibration, was woken up during this rude late night phone call that was alarming and for the sole purpose to tell us know about a parking charge.

    An unfriendly staff member, Samantha which yelled and screamed at me through the phone, and thus disrespected me by speaking vague and profane words of which degraded me and my family, inclusive minimized our family as in using racial slurs and remarks that were intended to cause us emotional distress at this late hour of the day. She also suggested that we were poor individual of whom could not pay the cover charge and would be towed if our a parking permit was not paid for.

    Let it be Noted for the record: The hotel pre-authorizes the room charge and amenities charges in advance that suggest any additional charges would be covered by this authorization that they hold on the guest credit card which typically exceeds the room charges and taxes by 50%.

    Our 4 year old daughter loss the whole night sleep and did not attend the children hospital in town for her therapy session because the doctors require patients to be well rested. We picked this place because it is close our daughters hospital of treatment and thus this is the worst place to stay if you are in town and just looking for peace of mind and a good night rest for you and your family.

    Now I have to pay an additional charge to the hospital in question of which we will seek compensation because my daughter has missed her appointment because this Supervisor named Samantha decided to call us, threaten us, disrespect us, and wake up our family in the middle of the night over a $8.95 parking charge.

    Our family is very saddened by the situation and have decided to never stay at this property again. This management is in fact the worst mal-informed bunch of psychos who have the nerve to wake guest up in the middle of the night and take no regard of guest real world situations. This is a bunch of horse shit, and we did not deserve this treatment.

    My family and I are hard working individuals of whom pay taxes, follow the US Constitution,  and pay for our stay here with our hard earned money. We due not due not get anything for free,steel, sell drugs, or prostitute our selves to make a living and we deserve more respect than what we received from this Marriott Courtyard person named Samantha.

    I ran a "toss the dice" blind bid for a room on Priceline.com .   Out the door, for $99.  I wasn't sure what to expect.  I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this all-new Marriott.  Our room was nicely furnished and we had all the amenities of a much higher end motel.  Fundamentally, the main attraction of this place is that everything inside and out is so new and modern.  We had to pay for parking, but it was $8.   It's not that far from downtown Long Beach. We will definitely stay here when we need to be in this part of town again.

    I stayed here because I was going to the long beach convention center (5 miles away) Everything looked brand new and clean. The staff was friendly and my room had all of the amenities I could need. Plus there is a Starbucks in the same parking lot.  Plus a gym and pool (too small) with spa. The only downside is that they charge for parking $9 a day which is Stupid (minus 1 star)

    Edit- the water pressure sucks and there is no cell signal. I have Verizon.

    Stayed at this hotel over Memorial Day weekend and from what I understand this hotel is fairly new. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, even the hallways & stairwell smelled of new paint. The only downfall to this hotel is their wifi. I was given a room on the 2nd floor & there was no signal at all. I missed phone calls & text messages & would literally have to go outside to retrieve my messages. I did talk to one of the housekeeepers in the elevator & she mentioned that 3rd & 4th floors have the best wifi reception. She also said that management is aware of the wifi problem & that's something they're working on.

    The location is great, close to the airport & there are a few food places in the same parking lot as the hotel. I recommend this hotel & would definitely stay here again. I just hope they fix their wifi problem soon.

    This time we got the junior suite. Much roomier than there standard rooms. Comes w/ microwave. The room was perfect n comfortable. Ratings are for customer service. I forgot my hair curler there & didn't realize until a week later after my stay. I called lost & found dept & they were able to return my curler. Thank you marriott!!

    This hotel is very clean and seems well maintained. The room we were given was very clean and furniture was all in great condition. The staff was very friendly. One of the pluses for this hotel is that there are 5 fast casual restaurabts that share the parking lot, making it easy to walk over and get a meal. This courtyard, while it looks like other ones we have stayed at seems newer which isnt a bad thing. Also close to long beach airport, the 405 freeway and traffic circle.

    A Courtyard so new there are barely any Yelp reviews? I was excited before I even received my room key, which you don't even have to frustratingly swipe! Yay!

    After I tapped my wallet under the doorknob to open sesame, I grinned with glee at a room that surpassed expectations. Roomy refrigerator, efficient AC unit, and perhaps the most spacious bathroom I've enjoyed in quite some time. There's a freaking seat in the shower!

    My group and I had the privilege of a 'private breakfast', meaning a buffet table in the conference room where we had our choice of stale bread, dried-out sausage, and cold eggs. After four mornings here, it was hit or miss on whether or not I could enjoy my breakfast. I wanted to order from the cafeteria, which doubled as a Starbucks, but it was closed until 7am! Why on earth would you open it so late!? Lucky for you, there's a real Starbucks just a stone's throw from the exit, and they're taking tons of your business because your management is dumb when it comes to food service.

    Anyways, I liked this hotel. It's comfy. Front desk staff are nice as can be. It's not far from a lot of places you'd like to end up, like 2nd street. Overall, it's better than most Courtyards in the area. I wouldn't mind returning.

    Yup, another Hotel review.  I don't usually stay at Courtyard, but the location was ideal and I'm familiar with this Courtyard since I stayed here before.  So, here's my quick review of Courtyard.

    -Nice clean hotel.  This hotel is fairly new.
    -Rooms are spacious
    -Starbucks in the same parking lot
    -Inexpensive for a California hotel
    -Fridge in the rooms
    -Close to the Airport
    -Close to the Long Beach Convention Center
    -Conference Rooms
    -Hotel gym

    -Parking: You have to pay for this

    Even though I prefer Hilton establishments when I'm out of town for work, I will still give this Courtyard its props.  Courtyard Long Beach is a nice hotel with a decent price tag.

    I wish I came here under better circumstances. Went down to LBC for a funeral and this place was close to the church and cemetery.

    The staff were incredibly accommodating, the place was spotless. After a flight, getting through LAX etc.. all I wanted to do was nap.

    Beds were comfy as were the couches.

    Convenient location with a Starbucks literally across the parking lot..plenty of parking.

    As most have mentioned..they charge for parking.

    Great service, Great location, Great decorations.......a little chilly but it was a wonderful experience.

    We had a catered meeting as well, we had soft tacos with all the sides & fixings......I was impressed.....ofcourse it wasn't authentic but it was super delicious!

    I am curious of the rooms........the bar & lobby look very clean, modern & fun!

    I enjoyed my stay at the Biltmore. The room and the hallways need a fresh coat of paint but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but Spartan. The trim in the room was in need of repair but hey I was comfortable and the hotel was an amazing example of American architecture.

    I stayed here for several nights. Granted we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, it was a great experience. I reccomend upgrading to the Executive Floors if you can.

    I had a wonderful stay here for NYE. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. It is conveniently located close to the Long Beach Airport, and next to a plaza with Starbucks, California Fish Grill, and other dining options. I definitely would stay here again.

    Stayed here for a weekend in September of this year.  I really loved the pool and took a dip almost every morning before I got ready for my laundry list of things I had to do while in SoCal.  

    One draw back was that we didn't realize just how far this hotel is from everything - we just thought it looked nice and was relatively in the area of where we were going.  We learned the hard way that even things that appear close near LA are actually hours apart.

    Downside also was that this hotel didn't have meal room service and there isn't much food in the area to find for a late night meal.  So eat early and rent a car - this place is miles away from everything.

    Very disappointing. I booked a suite so my family and I would have a place to sit and relax during the time we spent in the hotel. Having a 3 year old we needed the extra space. Plus the suite comes with a fold out bed for her to sleep on. At check in we were told that there are no suites available. They offered us two rooms with a connecting door at the same price. We looked at that setup and it was not a good fit. So we tried to find another local hotel but they were all booked being 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately I am stuck in a small room with one chair, one desk chair,  one bed, a hyper toddler and a disappointed wife. This room also doesn't have a fold out bed for my daughter to sleep on so she will be stuck sleeping in a crib, not the big girl bed that I got her excited about.

    Also...I would not get to excited about the pool with a view of a parking lot and strip mall. Not relaxing or visually stimulating at all.

    Update. To compensate us for the mistake we did receive one beer, one wine, one milk and a voucher for $9.00 free parking. Sorry to say I am not satisfied with this gesture. Having worked for Disney I can not believe this is the best Marriott can do.

    I really had a great experience here. It was clean and friendly. The lobby is very nice, honestly felt like Vegas minus the gambling & smoking, which is perfect cuz I hate both.
    The room and bathroom were very clean. The staff was awesome. There was 1 lady, Meryl- She was the sweetest thing ever! I wanted to hug her but figured i'd just creep her out.
    The fitness room is cool. I mean, its not a full blown gym, but if you're on vacation or just stopping by, theres enough to do what you'd need.
    The location is perfect. There's a starbucks in the same lot, also a flame broiler, a habit- theres something for everyone. Very well planned out.
    I would definitely go back here again. I was nervous because I was staying by myself, but everyone was so friendly and cool that I didn't even care. I didnt even want to leave at that point.

    This hotel is located near the airport.

    Check in was easy and hassle free.  Within the lobby are computers, and beautiful dining with a good variety of foods on the menu.  There are also a couple of coffee shops and restaurants directly across the street.

    The staff is friendly and hospitable.

    The gym has a weight room area and about 8 machines for cardio and accessible 24 hrs for guests.

    The rooms are clean and the decor is modern and refined.

    So why the 2 stars?  

    Regardless of your cell phone provider, do not expect to get any data!! Likewise, the wifi is very slow and goes out a lot... If you are here on business, or simply want to connect online, it will be a frustrating process.

    This Courtyard was next to The Habit Grill and Starbucks.  The parking lot was a decent size and was shared with the surrounding stores.  We stayed here for a few days so had to pay for parking (I forgot how much it was per day).  The lobby looked modern and bright.  There were a lot of places to sit inside and a few computers to use.  There was a flat screen TV as well with a couch.  As you walked towards the elevators, there was a bar/bistro place.  Our room was clean and a decent size for us.  It overlooked the outdoor pool and the front of the hotel parking lot where the Habit Grill was visible.  I thought this hotel was good to stay at and wouldn't mind coming back if I was in the area.

    My three night stay at the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport could not have been nicer.  When you travel on business, speed and convenience means everything to you, and my stay here was flawless.

    First, the basics. The room was $209 per night (a steal, compared to other hotels in the area), with an additional $25.08 Occupancy Sales Tax, $6.27 City Tax and $0.14 Convention and Tourism Tax.  Parking was $8.95 per night.

    This is my first stay at the Courtyard Marriott Long Beach Airport, and am well pleased with the condition of the rooms, comfort of the bed, condition of the lobby, halls and of The Bistro (the on-premiss restaurant). Although my room faced the Long Beach Airport, I was never disturbed by aircraft noise.

    I am happy to report that the Courtyard Marriott's management and staff are conscientious, friendly, and are successfully maintaining high guest-focused standards.

    The front desk associates are very friendly. I really do miss the buffet breakfast & the 24 hr complimentary coffee/tea that Courtyards offered. Sigh...

    The hotel & rooms are clean and updated. The shower is amazing. I'm in deep love. They shower is just as fantastic as what you'd find at a Weston. It's a good size... Big enough for two. There's a ledge so you can put your foot up to bathe or shave, spacious counter space. Lovely.

    Dislikes: The elevators are oddly situated. Parking is truly atrocious. The entrance to the hotel in the back of the building is not obvious.

    Had to be in town for a funeral. Booked this Courtland Marriott based on the Yelp reviews.

    Once again...thank you Yelpers!

    Absolutely beautiful hotel. The lobby is so cool... TVs tuned to sporting events, booths with private TVs(!), helpful and friendly staff and spacious comfy rooms. Everything is brand new! Direct TV in rooms. (one minor quibble... No Golf Channel.) also...a Starbucks with an extended breakfast and lunch menu on site.

    Price on a Saturday night was a very reasonable. $125.... Another bonus; a mile away from Sam's Famous Steak Sandwiches!

    Can't wait to return!

    - Very clean rooms.
    - Open, inviting lobby.
    - Excellent service from staff. I once checked in at 2am from a long trip, and the front desk staff was extra welcoming.
    - The breakfast is pretty darn good.

    - Parking. After they added all the restaurants, parking has gotten so crowded.
    - Not the hotel's fault, but there's no phone service on the bottom floor!
    - Price. I love staying here but have settled for Airbnb places for cheaper.
