Ended up getting this property on Hotwire. The location is easy to find on Olympic, reasonable ($15) valet parking, nice room and friendly staff. Few amenities, but if you just need a place to crash in this area, this property works just fine.

I stayed at this hotel for 31 nights! Due to the fact renovation was being done on my home. The parking lot guys were great. The women on the front desk were great. The management was absolutely rude and basically took advantage of my stay. I booked with my AAA card. At the end of my stay, I realized they had honored it for only a few nights out of the 31. I also found out that they did have an Extended Stay Program, which they never once offered me. When I confronted the management they really were nasty. In terms of the rooms, very tired. The food was good and the restaurant staff nice. As I said, I had no issues with the staff - just the operations manager and the general manager. Never would I stay at the hotel again, or would I recommend it - which saddens me - because I liked the staff. They were kind and nice.

Decent hotel. A-OK pretty much describes it.
Good amenities, comfortable bed and pillows.
Flat panel t.v., coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge are a ++
Parking attendants are GREAT, staff always remember me when I come back, allow me to self-park (which I prefer) and are super friendly.
Maid service can be tricky sometimes - they threw away a $10 L'Occitane bar of soap that I brought with me (not a fan of hotel soaps), also, during one stay - left the sliding glass door wide open after cleaning the room (wide open...so all of my things could have been stolen if someone on either side of me had simply climbed over the outdoor patio which would have been easy to do).
Decor in the rooms is really tired - very early 90's looking to me with tacky blown up city scape images, wood-blinds used as decor (why?) and a mildly irritating red and gold color scheme - definitely needs a makeover.
Olympic Blvd is not really easy access, not that big a deal for me personally, but if you're a timid driver, you should take note of this.
All in all, a pretty good hotel, consistent and clean.

I stay here quite frequently for business and it's always a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, well equipped, a great location and the staff is exceptional!
I'd like to personally thank James for his exemplary service and pleasant demeanor.

I hope to stay here many more times!

I had a early morning pick up with my company and driver. They early morning front desk guy took it into his hands to hook up his hands put me with his house car.  Turns out he cost the price of two cars.  Since i did not cancel the car I ordered I had to pay for two.  Thanks
Courtyard. Bad hotel, smells, small rooms, right off of busy street, walls are thin, no parking.

Beware of this hotel and the manager there.  I booked a stay with a discount coupon and had forgotton it upon arrival.  I asked the front desk agent what I could do and she said faxing it to them would be sufficient.  I had my wife fax it.

At first they said they did not receive it, and then after me asking them repeatedly they admitted they received it but would not honor the coupon unless they had the actual thing.  It was Saturday and now I had no time to send it because I had to check out on Sunday.  I called Marriot customer service and they said it was fine for the hotel to charge me the higher rate and then refund me the difference if I mailed it when I got back.  The hotel refused to do this.

I had to open a dispute where the manager of the hotel said I was manipulating their front desk agent the entire time when all I did was ask her how I could make sure I could get the correct rate.  It was the manager who was deceitful and did whatever he could do to keep me from getting the discount.

Yes it was partly my fault for forgetting the coupon, but I asked them what I could do to rectify it and did exactly what they said.  They lied, plain and simple.

Really nice property with lots of amenities.  The staff was friendly and its pretty centrally located.  They really pack quite a bit of hotel into a small area.  Courtyards can be generic and this one isn't.

I stayed here two nights on a reward stay at the beginning of November. This is pretty much what you'd come to expect from a Courtyard property - clean and functional. The folks at the front desk were very polite and helpful, and the room was pretty nice. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be in this particular part of town. Location is the name of the game when staying in L.A. It's a sprawling monstrosity of a city, the mass transit won't take you very many places, and the cost of taxis will wear you out if you're not careful.

Great service, good location, free internet.
It's an older property, but that's ok. I just wish parking was free. There was a Filipino man that was valet who defined hospitality and was the most welcoming employee of a hotel I've been to in a long time. He deserves to be paid the entire parking fee and gratuity.

I had stayed here 8 years ago on a trip down to LA from the bay area. I remembered it being in a central location for what I needed to do down here, plus it was close to Century City mall.

This time, my girlfriend from up north flew down for a girls' weekend and stayed here. I stayed with her in the room over the weekend. The room seemed nicer and larger than before, I think they've renovated since I last visited. the other cool thing is the free wifi they offer you here. The rates are pretty reasonable for being so centralized as opposed to if you had stayed at other neighboring hotels such as Marriott.

Parking is $15/night for guests. Back when I stayed here, they offered a complimentary hot breakfast, but this time, they only offered the room service style breakfast which you could pre-order on a checklist which you place on your door.

For the price in the location it is in, a very good bargain!! 3.5 stars!

I stayed here for an overnight weekend with my out of town friends. I originally booked at the Plaza Bevery Hills but my friends couldn't get reservations there as they are already fully book.  So I cancelled my reservation there and booked here. I was surprised how the Plaza Hotel and this little Marriott hotel have pretty much the same price.  I would probably prefer to stay at the Plaza but I'm still glad I booked here as I personally did not have issues on this hotel.  In fact, I actually had a pleasant stay.  My room was perfect for me.  It was roomy, smells and feels clean.  My sheets and my king size bed were comfortable. Most importantly, my room was very quiet.  My first time to sleep 7 hours straight since my son was born.  So yea, this deserve a 4 stars in my book.  By all means, this hotel is more of a 3 stars hotel but pleasant stay and good night sleep is priceless.

Timmy the valet guy was also very pleasant and helpful.  Marco, the front desk was accommodating to me.  He seems apologetic for my friends plight when I told him about their issues, which he also tried to amend.  But hey, that's their issues = their review :-)

I used to stay at the more posh Westins until they began their "breath of fresh air" campaign, which ironically includes chemical fragrance diffused at all their properties as corporate policy.  Yes, I checked with individual hotels to find that out.  The Courtyard by Marriott does use toxic chemicals to maintain the place or create a fake ambient smell.  It is clean, smells clean and has a comfortable room.

This particular place had excellent service throughout my recent stay.  I did not have a reservation here, but was booked at a nearby hotel, a Residence Inn.  When the room there turned out to be unsatisfactory, the man at the Courtyard  front desk, Jeff, looked up my account, found a one bedroom suite for me and my two guests, and got us the best rate that he could work out.  The room was bigger than expected, had great light and was quite comfortable.  We were in a hurry to get to an exhibit that evening, so we ate in the small and informal restaurant, which is basically some salads and hot snack type dishes.  The staff was helpful and were happy to have us there.  I could not believe that I was in the middle of LA--everyone was so friendly and helpful, with advise on other eateries & the best way to travel downtown to avoid traffic.

The attendants in the parking lot were very helpful and service-oriented.  They opened our doors, gave us directions and were genuinely nice.  There is a busy street outfront, but the windows are double-paned.  I am used to no cars at all on my dead-end street at home along with, fog and ocean sounds, but did not find the street noise a bother at all. I had no trouble sleeping.

The location of this hotel is great, its not far from LAX, not far from the major freeways, walking distance to the Century City mall which has so many restaurants and stores, some wonderful museums, Rodeo Drive and the small places around Beverly Hills are all close by.  We decided to avoid the congested freeways to go downtown, taking Sunset Strip, which was great for a tour of the neon that lights that place up.  The parking cost only $18.00 which is a bargain compared to other nearby places and locales such as NYC and San Francisco, where $50.00 no longer causes one to gasp.  I will stay here again for sure.

The boyfriend and I had a stay-cation here on Valentine's Day this year.  We were looking forward to marinating in the outdoor balcony hot tub and going back to the room for Cook's champagne and adult shenanigans 'cause we are CLASSY.

(Also, we had dinner at a restaurant with a real fireplace.  Also, the Burt Reynolds Playgirl centerfold is like the hottest thing I have ever seen.  I am one bearskin rug away from Nirvana.)

My 70s porn theme came to a crushing halt at a super duper unsexy OUT OF ORDER sign on the hot tub gate.  We asked the bartender what was up because maybe the out of order sign referred to the gate itself or anything other than the hot tub on Valentine's Day.  She said she'd look into it and gave us a really prompt call up to the room and let us know that while the hot tub was a goner, she'd be happy to hook us up with some drinks on the house.

We went back to the bar and Michelle made us some really good dirty gin martinis, apologized for the hot tub snafu and was super cool to both of us.  We hung out of the patio, had our martinis and cigars and had a really great time.  The valet, desk clerks, everyone we interacted with was friendly and the room was clean and well stocked.

I'd recommend this to anyone in from out of town-- while it's not in the most walkable area, it's close to the Century City and Beverly Hills areas and it's right across the street from a grocery/convenience store.

I stayed at this hotel few days ago and was very disappointed with the facility.  This hotel claims to be in Beverly Hills which is far from the truth. it is in a very run down area of LA.  The hotel itself is a very old hotel and it is overpriced for what you are getting.  I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am also not sure why it is rated as Category 7 hotel by Marriott.  I would rate it a Category 2 at most.

First time staying at a Courtyard. The location is very convenient. The staff is very polite and welcoming. The guy at the front desk who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. He gave me a brochure in which he highlighted places to eat, shop and hang out. This hotel offered free Wi-Fi which was great as I am here on business.

This hotel is without a doubt 5 stars!  I have received the best service (even better than full service Marriotts), and I stay in a lot of Marriotts as a gold elite member.  The front desk woman Evelyn always greeted me by name, with a smile, and remembered personal details about me.  All the employees, from housekeeping to the Bistro, smiled and said hello.  Nice touch with the cookies and citrus water in the lobby.  Bravo!  Would most definitely stay here again!

So this is an outdated Courtyard..it must have been something else prior.

Weird setup...you walk in..check in is on ground floor..then lobby to 1st main floor where restaurant/bar is..then you go to your room.  Not a big deal really, just funky.

The first thing I notice getting off the elevator is the dirty smell...couldn't place it. Musty/OB type smell. No bueno my friends.

For a place that touts Beverly Hills in their name, they certainly don't live up to the classiness one would expect in this area.

I booked my room on Priceline for a great rate. The location is pretty great if you don't have a car- Century city mall is a short walk (maybe 10 min at the most) and Ralph's market is literally across the street. I found the bus routes easy to locate and it was a relatively short trip to downtown.
My room was a nice size, everything was clean, and there's even a balcony with great views.

The staff was excellent. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area that doesn't spend a lot of time in their room, but is happy to have a safe and comfy place to rest.

The bistro was average. Reasonably priced and quick service.

    I would stay here again!

Super friendly and helpful staff. I stayed here three nights and was very comfortable.
Restaurant is great, valet great, coffee counter great. Lounge area nice.
The ONLY downside is that the traffic from Olympic is kind of loud.

I really liked this hotel - it is better than other Courtyard Marriott I've stayed at. The room had everything you needed~ and free water bottles were provided in the room for the guest's convenience. This location is very close to UCLA and you can get there on a week day morning in less than 10 minutes.

Courtyard Los Angeles Century City/Beverly Hills is a great value if you need a hotel in the Beverly Hills area!

I needed a room in the Beverly Hills for a wedding nearby and being a Marriott Rewards member I decided to book a room at this Courtyard. I must admit I was very impressed with this hotel! The rooms were clean and well maintained, the Wifi speed averaged 5 megs down, and the rooms of the ground level offer fantastic patio areas. Even the desk staff was genuinely friendly and eager to please.

At $150.00 a night in Beverly Hills, I can find very little to complain about and will most certainly be booking another room at this hotel the next time need arises.

This is my 6th time staying at the Courtyard LA/Century City/BH location and I am a huge fan.  If you like me, you like a fridge and microwave in your room. This hotel meets that requirement and on the plus side, there is a huge grocery store across the street to stock up on snacks and drinks if you don't want to purchase them from the hotel.  On a side note, the snack and food items at the hotel are not expensive and I ended up buying them here out of convenience.  The rooms and furnishings are modern and the bathroom amenities are nice.  Their is a small fitness center to work out in but my favorite part of the hotel is the warm hot tub outdoors to relax in after sightseeing or working.  The staff are all nice and the parking/valet attendants have seemed to have been working here since I have been coming (a few years), so that tells you something - the staff like to work here.

TIP:  If you come on a Friday, there is free parking behind the grocery store.  Here is the catch - you have to come AFTER 6pm on Friday and there are only 10 of these spots within 1mile.  The free parking is good all weekend.

this is a nice Marriot - clean and modern rooms - a lovely garden with a small but welcome smoking section - a nice lobby with the amenities most needed - and a great staff.

on the second floor there is a breakfast room and bar - also a TV area - and gym.

No pool - but there is a small hot tub.

Best thing about this place is an office desk with FREE PRINTING.

And the parking is good too.
