I was stranded at this motel a couple for a couple weeks waiting for my apartment to be available to move in.  For $65 a night you get more than your money's worth. Room service was hospitable and a intimate and quaint restaurant that serves delectable soul food from Belize, adjacent to building. Over all, I had a pleasant time.

I made a reservation online and was quoted 65 per night , but when I got there I was charged 85. I was given a room that smelled like armpit and was offered a room that smelled like piss as an alternative, so I went for the armpit room. I opened the balcony door and turned in the AC to help get the armpit stench out of the room, but it didn't help. The bathroom smelled terrible. I asked the owners to clean the toilet because I thought the smell was coming from there, but it didn't help. I suggest go elsewhere if you want to feel comfortable and actually relax.

For this to be a cheap hotel they're better than most. Nice management and all the amenities one would need for a short stay. I needed a place for the night and they were able to accommodate me last minute. Parking, spacious room, balcony, very clean and good shower pressure.

The reseptionist is very friendly. The room is big with a nice, for a motel big, hd flat tv and a big fridge. It's a mc donalds, burger king, and a subway 50 feet away. Unfortunetly there were some loud other guest. Over all it's a nice price performance ratio

Great price. Friendly and understanding front window. While most ppl in LA are rude and give not one F about you. These ppl care to make you as comfortable as possible for the money. I will make this my first option for any other LA visit.

Relax - and sit back and count your savings!   This motel is just outstanding.  The owners are beyond kind, and will assist you in helping make your LA visit a wonderful experience.   The room was huge, clean and had amenities that  were even missing at Loew's ( microwave and usable refrigerator)  The area and especially the hotel is super safe.  I was touched when I returned to the motel late one night and saw the owner's wife curled up on a little bed while he manned the desk.  I absolutely love to support wonderful, hard-working, conscientious people like this!

This is a very old motel, complete with a (filled-in) bean shaped pool. We wanted to escape the 7am demolition next to my apartment and this was perfect. If you are looking for an authentic "motel" experience with none of the bugs or alcoholic neighbors, this place is great. VERY big rooms. I'm almost surprised there isn't a jiggler on the bed.

Basically, old but clean and VERY reasonable for Los Angeles.

The family that owns this place is WONDERFUL!!!  The nicest people ever..the young man desk attendant went way above and beyond for us and helped us to enjoy our stay in Los Angeles. For the price you cannot beat this place...They also are very good at making you feel safe and are very good at getting the riff raff people away!!!  Showers are hot and strong..bed was cozy and clean and I highly recommend!!!!

Last minute?  Stranded?  Leave your boyfriend?
Come and Relax.
It's not The Ritz, but who needs The Ritz when you need a bed and a shower?  The management is so friendly even though I couldn't understand a word.  The towels are scratchy, but the shower is hot and strong.  There is one room that is just for grabbing a couple hours of sleep.  It's usually the last room they have available.  Otherwise, the rooms are quiet and quite pleasant with microwaves and refrigerators.  You need to supply your own coffee maker and hair dryer.  But, there's a Starbucks across the street for all caffeine and internet needs.  And, as of this writing, a tasty BBQ place next to the donut shop and liquor store.
Parking is free which is unbelievable for LA.

I was a bit scared to stay here because it didn't have many reviews. But this place wasn't bad at all. I only had two problems which were the rugs were dirty and the room smelt like cigarettes . But overall this place was nice and I do plan on visiting here again.

It was ok. very old and outdated.
Carpet was a bit dirty and old. Things here just appeared old and not that clean.
Don't think I would stay here again

What a fabulous find. We booked on the strength of the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed.
recommend a traditional Los Angeles pizza place. You won't be disappointed. We were in for a shock. Portions were huge.

Beware of the disclaimer that states no refunds will be given under any circumstances. It's strategically displayed high above the check-in counter, and not at convenient eye level where it should be. I unfortunately learned this lesson the hard way.

I don't expect a place like this to be anything like the Marriott, or even Best Western. However for being priced at $75 a room, I expected it to at least be on par with Motel 6. But I was wrong. The pillows felt lumpy like a pile of dish rags. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower head had such a thick crust of grime covering it, I don't think I could have taken a shower even if I were brave enough to. There were what looked like shit stains on the toilet seat and on the wall next to the toilet paper. Needless to say, that was my cue to pack up and go.

So after pleading for a refund, then partial refund, then a different room, and being refused all three, I knew it was necessary to write this review.

I took a towel to the bathroom floor just to see what I was putting my bare feet on and it came up clean! I will be back sweet family that owns the place great location good price! Thank you!
