This place is cheap, but not very clean. I will not be back. 1 star is more than it rates.

WOW!    I arrived after dark and was somewhat disappointed in the look of the place and the people I saw just hanging around.   Good thing I'm in a rental car and not my own.  Hope it's still there......haven't looked yet!   Booked here for three days for the NHRA races.  Although I don't plan on being in the room much I will say that they need to take a fire hose to this place.  It's absolutely filth from the top to the bottom. Whoever does the cleaning must be blind and whoever owns the place must completely not care one bit!  The place smells as bad as it looks. Scary people out front jumping around that are either mentally ill or on drugs. SERIOUSLY!  Do not take your kids here.  The only thing clean are the sheets. But toss that comforter on the floor.   The only reason to stay here is if your broke and can't afford much. It is cheap.  214.00 for three nights for two beds and full kitchen. Oh, and yes the kitchen is dirty too!     I'll be moving today to another place.  Hope I had a tetanus shot awhile back!

If you're ok with unwashed sheets, towels, and dusty floors (dusty everything) stay here! If not just pay $20 more for somewhere else. My first bad experience @ a cheap place like this. I don't think all 2 star motels are this bad! But this one is definitely a one star with the no warning about the early 8am construction underneath my room! *Bad service from front desk too....so much more I could say but I think this is enough...(FYI try expedia I just didn't bother this time this was the first place I saw & I didn't read any reviews @ all)

I was looking for a hotel to stay in for the month while I was working in Pomona. I wanted a full kitchen for a low price and literally contacted every hotel in a 10-mile radius before finding this one. I stayed in a total of 6 of their rooms over a 5 week period and loved the size for the price ($50 night).

Most of their rooms are full kitchen suites, includes bedroom, kitchen (with full oven, stove, microwave, sink, and refrigerator), bathroom and walk-in closets, with dining area in kitchen and desk in the bedroom. The rooms were very spacious. I stayed in a non-kitchen room one night and it was the standard hotel room size, but also came with a mini fridge/microwave.

A lot of residents live there permanently (you can tell by seeing decorations in windows), and the majority of the people staying/living there are lower-working class. The front parking area is small, and chances are you will be parking in back, but it is very well lit and there were never people just standing around to make anyone nervous. I never had a problem of safety, but I also went straight from my car to my room.

As for cleanliness, every room I stayed in left something to be desired. Usually there were small holes in the comforters, stains on the floor, broken pieces of clock, TV remote, fridge, etc.  Sometimes the floor wasn't well vacuumed and I'd have the maid come in the next day for a "re-do" which always cleaned up any remaining dirt.

Oddly, every room had something different to it. As in, different desk chairs in each, different type of mattresses (one room had very soft like the kind from those commercial where you drop a bowling ball on a bed and don't spill the wine glass), different brands/styles of AC/Heating units, and slightly different layouts (some had separate walk-in closets and some had the closet connected tot he bathroom).

WiFi sucks. Very slow and bad signal. They have multiple wireless networks for free to any hotel guest, but they only get a 1-3 bar signal and instantly lower once you connect. It was so bad it made it almost impossible to browse the internet or even Skype.

The front desk staff were wonderful, always friendly and helpful.

The area is fairly nice. Surrounded by motor home parks, thrift stores, and next to a restaurant and furniture store. Just a fe miles away from La Verne (which is very nice and has great shopping and restaurant chains). I ate at Santana's Mexican on the corner of Garey and Foothill once a week and they had great food if you are looking for a close 24 hr. place to the hotel.

For the price/size, this place is great, but definitely is a 1-2 star hotel overall because of the residents and condition of rooms. But because of the friendliness, and the size of the rooms with full kitchens, I would stay there again if I work in the area again.
