If you're ever stuck in Pomona for work, this all-suites hotel seems to be the best of the available options. It is also "pet friendly" and located right next to the County fairgrounds.  The last time I was there, they were hosting a dog show so it was a hoot to see dogs and their owners prancing around and practicing trotts in the lobby.

Deserves 0 Stars, and i cannot believe my last review got filtered out. Trust me, stay at the double tree in claremont. 1, you get a waaaay bigger room for a fraction of the price. This place is a joke. I was so mad because not once was I informed it was a smoke free room but I guess im supposed to read the 1 small sign in my room telling me this. All and all a fat $200 charge for a bunch of BS there smoke fee cost more than the room and this place blew nuts anyway

My family went to a Banquet Fundraiser  to honor  a local hero  on Thursday 9-23-2010We are non-meat eating, mostly vegetarian plant based diet, the food served was absolutely horrifying. Inedible slop , they called mushy pasta globs covered with the same gravy they put on the chicken: gnocchi. Had to eat when we got home. The salad was served with old gushy feta and cold french fries on top instead of croûton. The chicken breast was injected with what looked like meconium, pasty ground spinach with no flavor. I have called twice and left messages to speak to food manager and have not received the courtesy of a reply. Unfortunately , I have been to other events there and had the same experience, (because it was sponsored by my  workplace). I will definitley bring my own food in a playmate or igloo next time.

Second time staying here and it was as good as the first time. The staff is super nice and they have ample parking. A better alternative to the more sketchy hotels in the area and it's right next to the Pomona Fairplex. They also have a bar and restaurant, but beware the bar does close around midnight.

Friendly staff. Easy to get to. Very nice rooms with comfortable beds. Broken up layout of rooms feel less like a stale hotel room. Desperately need to upgrade workout facilites into larger space. Well lit running path recommended by front desk though.

The Sheraton Suites is a beautiful hotel nestled behind a major intersection with a nice park across the street. I thought service was just okay. They seemed a bit unorganized behind the front desk and it took a while to get someone's attention to check us in. They seemed to be at full capacity so it was difficult for them to get our rooms on the same floor. After a long shuffle of room assignments, we finally had our keys and went up to check out the digs. My room, sad to say, was handicap. It's a pretty tacky move to put someone in a handicap room without clearing it with the patron first. I should have immediately gone back down to the desk to ask for another room but I don't like to stir up trouble (and clearly they had limited options). Luckily my stay was only for a night and it was tolerable.

There is nothing like staying in a suite that makes you feel fancy. This hotel was top notch from beginning to end. The front desk was friendly and quick. Our room was spacious, clean, and had 2 TVs! The couch in the living room was comfortable, as was the bed. My one and only complaint was the noise level. It sounded like someone running a shower all night in the next room, except really loud. I discovered that our window was open, and were right next to a generator of some sort. Not that big of a deal, I slept like a baby, and until 10:30 thanks to those heavy duty drapes that let in ZERO sun light. They had bliss toiletries which I took, and their shower had good enough pressure. Overall, I'm a fan on Sheraton Fairplex Suites.

As a Platinum member of Starwood (Westin, Sheraton, W, Le Meridien) and a very frequent traveler (100+ nights a year in hotels), this was a decent option while staying in Pomona for work.

The staff was friendly and the service was good, but the rooms had low ceilings and were just average.  Yes they are an 'only suite' hotel, but 'suite' does not equal 'great', it just means more average.

Also, take advantage of the surprisingly reasonable happy hour at the bar downstairs 4-7pm ($2 domestic draft, $3 premium draft, $4 mixed)

Nice hotel...really cool to be on the fairgrounds!! No events going on at the fairground, so it was very quiet and we got top notch service. The room was very clean but small for a family of 4 (including a grouchy 5 year old and 7 month old). The Residence Inn with 2 bedrooms is better for us but it was sold out...

The lobby and pool area were very nice as well. Clean and maintained.

The bed was AWESOME! We are thinking of buying a "heavenly bed"...it was really comf! Also the furniture and linens were very nice.

Resturant was very mediocre (typical hotel resturant) but again, good service.

It was well worth the 107 rate we paid!! I would stay here again.

Only negatives: The crib they brought was metal and our baby's legs kept getting caught in it. Also, the closet door was broken and the bathroom door squeeked so loud that it woke up the baby a couple of times.

The rooms are actually a mini version of what the pictures look like but they are clean and the A/C was pumping so that was fine. The pool was much smaller that what it looked like as well and the "Fitness" room was just an empty room with a mirror, LOL. Really? Maybe it was supposed to be a "motivational" fitness room. We went to a friends wedding, hence the reason for staying at the near by Hotel and when we came back around 11:30 at night, I had my drink on and wanted to dance some more. I went down to the bar area to see what was shaking and there was a wedding reception going on there that they were allowing people to come and join, so I danced for a half hour more, until I was tired. The bar tenders were very nice although 8 bucks for a half a small glass of wine seemed steep to me. The first thing I do when I get to a Hotel is get more towels and pillows. The Front desk girl tried to give me a hard time, but when I kept on, she relinquished and I got my towels and pillows. I might stay here again cause I know it will be clean, but keep your expectations low and then you'll be very impressed. They did have an internet cafe where I checked my Facebook and email that was free, so there was a perk to that but you have to pay 10 dollars to do it in your room, at these prices, they should throw it in.

I usually stay in room 810. 824, 826, or 830 are also favorites.

This hotel is just about as good as it gets. Just remember to call the hotel after you've made a reservation to request a room with a good view of the mountains. If that's not available, then just make sure to ask for any even numbered room. You wont be disappointed.

Front desk = Great Service / Wonderful People (wasnt busy)

We stayed at the Sheraton Fairplex on Saturday night after attending a local event at the Fairplex.
While the staff seems to be friendly and kind, the hotel has some issues that need improvement before we will return for another stay.

We love sleeping with our windows open at nite for a healthy breeze rather than artificial air cond running all nite long. While opening a window and lying down to relax, I was surprised to see a large mosquito flying around the room!
Immediately catching it & disposing of it, I checked the windows again only to discover their are no screens, hence the opportunity for these "West Nile Virus" culprits to fly in and possibly carry an illness we do NOT want to be exposed too!
After calling the front desk, the nite mgr informed me they would contact maintenance to see if they could remedy the problem. Minutes later, a phone call saying nothing can be done about it.!

Our television had cable, but unfortunately a poor connection quality and we weren't interested in having an "engineer" come up and try to resolve the problem while we were already lying in bed trying to relax for the night....

Mgmt had kindly given us 2 vouchers for their breakfast buffet for the next morning, however the quality of food served was not satisfactory and the oatmeal tasted plastic and the coffee was lukewarm.

When asked where we should park our vehicle, the staff said the parking lot adjacent to the hotel....to which we discovered a posted sign which read, "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR THEFT"!
    (This was their parking lot)!

The one plus we can share with you is a young staff member by the name of "Chris F". He went over and above to provide a welcoming professional gesture at trying to make our stay a pleasant one.

Unless these issues are addressed, it is doubtful we will be returning to stay at the Sheraton Fairplex next year for our annual Expo Conference.

This is a really nice hotel! The only thing I don't like about it is that sometimes the desk staff can be a little snobby and rude. It's also really far away from most anything so you're basically forced to eat at the restaurant.

However, we go here for business and the higher up staff are really accommodating towards us which is what makes this place great!

First the positive: The hotel is clean and has nice decor.  The staff was very helpful and curtious.  When the hotel made the mistake shown below, the manager called admitting the mistake in a curtious way.

Now the negative:  They charged me twice the amount!  If I did not check my credit card account...well anyways I was able to dispute it with the hotel and credit card but my trust in this hotel was just lost.  So be careful with your money...I purchased it through their website.

my friend rented out a 2 room suite for one night.

the beds were very comfy. the bathroom had a scale but i think it needed a battery because it didn't work. the bathtub had a ledge so it gave the tub a roomier feel. we had 2 tv's. there was a pull out couch in the sitting area. i am sure it was pricey but maybe worth it.

what i can't understand is, why is it at expensive hotels they have you pay for every little thing. I forgot a brush and was not gonna pay $3 for a comb that i used to get for free on school picture day. but the cheap places will just give it to you.

I don't know very much about Pomona other than the fact that this hotel is our place of choice to sleep while we are down south for my boyfriends basketball tournament.

I love everything about this hotel.  The rooms are suite size so they are large.  They even have sliding doors to separate the living room space and the bedroom....definite plus points when you have friends over at the room watching the sports channel and you are trying to catch some zzzz's!  The bathroom is large, lots of counter sink space for toiletries and the showerhead in the shower is so relaxing--my favorite thing is the shower curtain....its rounded so that there is a lot of room (I don't like showers where the shower curtain is right next to me).

They have a restaurant and a bar & grill downstairs in the lobby.  Great selection of food but room service is very limited which sucks....so I suggest just heading down before it closes that way you can avoid the extra charges.  This last time I was here, I had a bit of trouble with room service where they forgot to ask me what room I was in since I ordered downstairs and so I had to call down to ask what was going on.  Long story short, the food came in an hour which I was not too happy about but was understanding about it.  The waitress who took my order felt really bad about the inconvenience and comped/refunded what we paid for dinner.  Wow...the last Westin/Sherton property we stayed at had a total fit about us complaining so it was nice to know that they cared about how we felt--very good customer service in my book!

There is a pool area and small workout room which is always convenient when on vacation especially when it is hot out.  Overall, we have had great stays at this hotel and it will remain to be our hotel of choice when in the area.

The Sheraton Suites Fairplex is a nice, older hotel where the check-in staff tries really hard to please.

They were exceedingly friendly when I checked in, but maybe that was because that day they had their annual emergency electrical testing by order of the PFD. The power was off for several hours.

It is called the Fairplex because it is on large grounds, where annually, it is the host area of the County Fair! Consequently, it is probably packed that time of year, but the rest of the year, it is sparesly occupied, because you have to have a reason to be in Pomona. A good reason!

Like maybe you are checking out Cal Poly Pomona as a college destination, or checking on your son or daughter to see how they are adapting to it. Odds are you are not an Art or Antique dealer in town for the monthly Art Walk in old downtown. So why are you in Pomona?

The hotel is older, they have tried to spruce it up, and it ends up having a little bit of old world charm, like you were transported in time to a slower, older time, with the large grounds, the seclusion from the city and freeway noise that is the always jammed 91.

So if you want to have a little getaway without leaving the Inland Empire, stay here amidst the dark wood furnishings and sprawling grounds and pretend you are in another time and place with your lover, awaiting the stage coach to arrive. Plan it for their annual lack of electricity testing period, and bring your own ceramic water pitcher and wash bowl, and you will definitely be back in time, to a simpler life.

    Just turn off your Crackberry.

I am starting to become a big fan of any Sheraton Suites. The room, including the bathroom, is very sizeable. When traveling for work, I love having a "work" room (couch, desk, large flatscreen TV) and a "sleep" room (super comfy bed and large flatscreen TV). And bonus points for having a microwave and fridge too. The staff were friendly, etc. My only complaint was the limited room service menu.

I spend 3 days every year for the last 8 years when attending the Offroad Expo. The rooms are always clean and good size. The beds are comfy and they give you plenty of pillows.

Only reason it did not get 5 stars is the lack of a 24 hour food service. After drinking all night with customers it would be nice to have that option.

Be aware that the bar downstairs is a bit pricy but food quality is good. It also closes at 1:30am.

The original group/sales manager that we started with quit before our wedding. New management over the phone and email was well enough but the services the day of our wedding was a nightmare. They charged our guests $8.00 and $20.00. There was no continuity. The girl at the front desk couldn't run a simple transaction on my credit card for two rooms and two nights. Their shuttle service REFUSED to take our wedding guest (Sheraton hotel club member and U.S. Marine Corps service member). I would NEVER recommend this hotel as a place to have your wedding guests or wedding party stay. At least not while the current management/staff is still there. Our wedding was in August 2012

We had 5 people in their two room suite for 1 night; price was $100 due to a special event discount. Room included two doubles, 1 pullout bed couch, 2 HD LCD tvs, full bath, coffee, microwave, and mini fridge. The hotel also has a full pool, sauna, and tiny gym.

The room was very nice on all accords; comfy beds, couch, bathing area, you name it. The rest of the hotel and facilities were very nice as well.

Wi-Fi is not free and other small amenities are not free; but that is common for these conference style hotels. Heck if they were, I would give it 5 stars.

Overall I would gladly stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights and we loved it. The place is clean, the staff is warm and unpretentious, the parking is free and the nights are blissfully quiet.

This hotel is especially great for parents because all of the rooms here are suites. Translation: my husband and I were able to stay up and keep the lights on while our little one is asleep in the other room. Plus, the bathrooms are accessible through the living room AND the bedroom so no need to tiptoe in and out of the room. Said kid can stay asleep. FIVE STARS.

Since there's not much else to do in this area, I recommend using the pool. It's a good size (big enough to swim decent laps) and because of the surrounding trees, there's always some shade in one part of the pool throughout the day. Again, perfect for parents with little ones and for those who don't like to bake in the sun for too long.

It's too bad there aren't more hotels like this around. I'd love to stay here again but sadly, the odds of me staying overnight in Pomona again are very slim.

Who would have ever known a stay at the Sheraton would turn itself into a murder mystery?

Okay, maybe I just wished I played Clue while I was there.  I didn't though.  So melodramatic.

Anyways, my wife and I stayed here and we have mixed reviews.  The rooms are nice and spacious, but there is a $10/day fee for wireless in your room.  Seriously? When we stepped into our room we were smacked in the face.  Seriously.  By an odor -- that kind of odor where a really smelly guy stays somewhere and the odor stays after he leaves. It's quite possible the man who stayed in the room before us was one of those "shower every 3 days" types.  You know them.  Neither do I.

Speaking of showers, when you pulled out the knob to get the shower working it would only close off the bottom spout about half-way -- making for a spraying mess on the bottom and half of the water pressure on the top.  You could shower, but the excess water on the bottom began to flood up the tub.  Interesting.  Made for an exciting shower.

So... overall?  Good.  Nobody died.  But when it comes to the standards of corporate hotel world -- they needed to be a little bit more keen on the odor they were leaving us when the room was prepped.  Also, please fix the shower.

    That is all.

This Sheraton Hotel is a magical little place as far as Pomona goes.
My lovely friend and I enjoyed just about everything about it. The room was clean and spacious. The pillows were like clouds drifting through heaven. We slept so comfortably. The staff here was very attentive to my every need, from calling a cab,  calling my room to let me know the cab had arrived, and even late checkout.

I was a bit disappointed by one thing, it was their Spa services. I called ahead of time to see if they could arrange a massage appointment for me. The lady said sure no problem, just call us the day of your arrival. On that same day I called and some guy answered but he had no idea about this. I was upset because he basically just gave me the phone number of the massage therapist, and told me to call her myself. So I did, and it turned out to be double disappointment because the massage services are only provided from Mon-Fri, and that they don't do holidays. This is pretty stupid because it is likely there will be more guests that want to relax at hotels on weekends and holidays, but whatever.

I stayed here for two nights while my boyfriend attended events at the Pomona Fairplex. The hotel was conveniently located near the freeway and about 10-15 minutes drive to downtown Claremont, where I ventured for food and shopping.

Though the room was clean and well furnished with flat screen TVs, a leather chair and a sofa bed in the common area. I liked how the bedroom could be sectioned off from the common area by use of a sliding door. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the bed. It was a squeaky spring board. I had a better bed at home. This brought down my review to 3 stars. Bed quality is number one on my hotel evaluation as the reason I stay at hotels is to sleep.

On a good note, the parking was free.

I'd stay here again. You can't beat the convenience of walking out the door and standing at the gates of the Pomona Fairplex.

Stayed last Saturday night while I was back in town for Homecoming Weekend at University of La Verne. We did a lot of Fraternity functions at the Property while I was in school, but hadn't been back to the Sheraton in 15 years. Gotta say it was great.

Upon arrival, Danny at the front desk greeted me and could not have been nicer. Easy check-in and was in my room very quickly. Everyone at the front desk was great. My buddy was also checking in and he was treated in the exact same fashion.

Room was a 1 bedroom suite, with a separate living room area and bedroom. There is a wet bar and fridge as well as a desk to set up shop if you need to do some work. Bathroom was a good size, with an entrance from both the living room and bedroom.

The bed was very comfy, although I wish it had a TV in the bedroom.

Danny arranged for the shuttle to take us back up to campus very quickly. Make sure you take care of the driver for getting you where you need to go.

My highest compliments are for Jami (sorry if I spelled that wrong). I left my wallet in the room but didn't realize until I was already home. I spoke to her late Sunday evening and she said she would check on it. I had chalked it up as being lost and was going to cancel all the cards first thing Monday morning. More importantly, the wallet was a gift from the Mrs so it had sentimental value.

On my way to work the following morning, Jami called and my wallet had been found! She dropped in a FedEx and had it back the following day. Cannot thank her enough for the follow through and honesty. I travel a lot for work, and have left things in the hotel before. I've called on my way to the airport having forgotten an iPhone charger 20 minutes after leaving and it was already gone.  Have NEVER gotten one thing back, let alone a wallet.

Highly recommend Sheraton Fairplex on a # of levels. Friendliness of staff, great accommodations, free shuttle, and an honest housekeeping and front desk. Will definitely be back for next year's Homecoming at ULV.

    Cheers!!!!

    Another pleasant surprise in Pomona!
I was only here 1 night, but loved the free self parking, the welcoming lobby and my king suite.  I believe all the rooms are suites here, but I cant confirm it, though I was only offered a king or double suite.
The rooms are very nice.  Spacious and well appointed.  When I saw this, I kinda wished I was staying longer.  Lots of closet space, robes, coffee maker, new flat screens in room and living area.  The color scheme and layout was very pleasant.  4 people could comfortably sleep in the room.
There is free wi-fi in the lobby but its $10 a day in your room.
I know this isn't a destination spot, but for business or whatever brings you to the area, this is not a bad place to land.

Funnily I really like this hotel. Maybe it's because the rooms are really large -- all of them suites as the name suggests -- and they all come with a microwave and bar fridge which other Sheratons do not offer.

It is however out in the middle of nowhere unless you are going to the LA Fairgrounds, in which case, it is right next door.

Parking is open and free which is another plus.

You also get McKinleys Grille located inside offering pretty decent fare at reasonable prices. It is the only restaurant located within so you don't get much of a choice.

All in all a great little hotel, very comfortable.

Terrible experience.  The hotel asserted that there was smell of smoke in my room and wanted to keep my 200-dollar deposit for that, which was ridiculous.  My old grandma and I stayed in the room for two nights and neither of us ever smoked.  AND THE ONLY EVIDENCE THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE WAS BASED ON HUMAN NOSE RATHER THAN A PROFESSIONAL DEVICE.  So I went to the room and it was definitely the smell of old furniture or carpet.  Then the manager came and told me that she was going to smell the room so if she smelled any smoke it would be the END OF DISCUSSION AND THEY WOULD NOT GIVE THE MONEY BACK.  What happened next?  She smelled the room and called the front desk to say that IT DID SMELL LIKE SMOKE BUT THEY WOULD GIVE ME THE 200 DOLLARS BACK BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF EVIDENCE.  Oh yeah like they would give the money back if it really smelled like cigarette.

I got some here... good rest that is. The suites at this Sheraton are amazingly comfortable, especially if you are living there for a week! The bedroom has a flat panel TV, the living room has another flat panel TV, and a kitchen area (fridge, microwave, coffee maker stocked with Starbucks coffee pods and Tazo tea!).

If you don't need your room made each day, you can put this sign on your door and they'll attach a $5 food voucher on the sign and return it under your door. You can collect as many as you want during your stay and redeem it at their restaurant or food vendor in the hotel (good until the last day of your stay). I heard the $10 room service burger was amazing btw.

The tiny gym and sauna are so small that you might feel claustrophobic, but other amenities like the pool and jacuzzi were great after a 12 hour day.

Parking is ample and no fee for parking. It's walking distance to the Fairplex, but a brisk walk depending on which building you are going to.

Btw, dogs are allowed for a fee.

What a horrible experience staying here.
I'm in Pomona for work and my bosses accommodations didn't work out so we were stuck at 9pm looking for a place to stay the night.
We had an event to do for the Sheraton so we thought it would be a good idea to stay at the hotel that we were working for.
We called to check availability and they said vacant rooms. We walked in a couple mins later and the front desk said they were all booked for the night. After several mins of talking to the receptionists... they ended up finding one last room.
My best friend and I had breakfast the next morning... the buffet was empty so we had to tell our waitress that it needed to be restocked. Finally! Food! But wait... my gf found hair in her eggs! really?! what a horrible way to start your morning...
Our second night was suppose to be comped but we ended up getting a phonecall at midnight saying we needed to leave or they'll charge us for the second night. Crazy right? Let the drama begin! No!!! we are not staying here for $160+ so we started to pack our bags. Not even 10 mins later we get a phonecall from the front desk asking us to leave... 10 mins later security comes knocking on our door asking us how long will it take us to leave... 20 mins later... bang bang bang! Oh really? 2 security guards kicking us out? Was that necessary? They escorted us all they way to the elevator to make sure we were leaving the property.
NEVER AGAIN! I can't believe the treatment and service we got from SHERATON FAIRPLEX after last nights event. Our company gave them a lot of business and this is how we get treated?? UNPROFESSIONAL!
    Never again!
P.S. no free wifi in the room... $10 fee

Check in was smooth. Didn't take a long time. Valet was awkward. Almost like they were nice, but not overly helpful. There are tons of them & no one offers to help you. You have to ask. Our bell guy, at check in, was super sweet & helpful. The room was very nice- 724. But we had to ask twice for everything when we called. The little extras like luffa in the bath was a nice touch. But no outlets for charging! Need more outlets! The concierge lounge was always out of plates and the food was okay. There was not a lot of service, no clean up, no refills of food & plates unless you asked. In the evening - no drinks. Seems like it was very rushed & not well thought out. Friendly staff, maybe just lazy? No JW Marriott concierges lounge for sure! The bar staff was very helpful and motivated. And then at check out... We call for bell, never comes. Lug our bags down. The valet, 10 guys standing around and no one helps you. Pull our car around, park it in the last lane and give us the keys. Don't even offer to help load! Husband tipped and I was annoyed! You tip for service & we didn't get any!

NEVER STAYING AT A SHERATON OR STARWOOD HOTEL AGAIN!!! I booked over one months stay there for my Dad(who is handicapped and in a wheelchair) because his house was flooded and the repairs are extensive. I chose the hotel under the assumption that breakfast was included because that is what the reservations lady told me and I had checked with several other suite hotels and that was the norm as well. Of course after I move everything in and get my father all settled I find out breakfast is additional. So being that I have been in hospitality management for 15+ years and had worked at several major hotel/casinos in Vegas I knew something could be done to rectify this especially since we would be there for over ONE MONTH. I speak to the front desk agent and he seemed very sympathetic and put me in touch with management. The Director of Front Desk Paulo got on the phone and would do absolutely nothing for me, mind you we are staying there for over a MONTH and would not do anything he wouldn't even throw me a bone and say I would buy you one breakfast, WOW!!!! I even mentioned what the other hotels were offering and he wouldn't budge he said since I was in the business I should know things come at a cost and he couldn't give it away like that.  So he is willing to piss off a guest that is bringing him over $6000 in revenue for a few breakfasts, hell it ciuld have been the buffet which would have even made it cheaper for them. Unbelievable, that a guy that is supposed to be the Director and does not know how to take care of his guests. What makes it worse is that there are other Yelp reviews that say they were given free breakfast vouchers, of course they were a group of girls as well. So I checked us out and booked a month at Embassy Suites in Rancho Cucamonga that had free breakfast, a manager's reception between 5 - 7pm with cocktails and appetizers, free wifi, and $30 less a night.

We purchased our room on Priceline.com and when we arrived our room had been given to someone else. Ok that happens, but it's how it was handled was the problem. The front desk receptionist informed us of our room situation and booked us Room at the best western in San Dimas 5 miles away. Our originally booked room was two bed with sofa sleeper for three people. The room we were given was for one person with one bed and one soft bed. This was unacceptable and we were not given adequate arrangements for what we paid for. The staff was reluctant and unhelpful in trying to arrange a proper replacement room. I guess when you plan ahead and pay upfront for a hotel room, the Sheraton organization does not see fit to stand up to their end of the deal upon which you pay your hard working money for a place to stay and get dumped like a homeless bum. I will never stay at a Sheraton again.

The first thing I remember about staying here is the big comfy bed! The room was like a mini apartment. Absolutely spacious and very well put. It had a bedroom and a living room both with TV. It even had a microwave which was rare to see unless you make sure to get one when booking a room in Sheraton Hotels. This hotel is extremely big, and has lots of parking. It is right next to Pomona Fairplex so it can get very busy in certain days in the year but when we stayed here it wasn't busy at all. The lobby is right in the middle as you entered between the bar/restaurant area and front desk. The staff was absolutely helpful and nice. I remembered we ordered some chicken quesadilla and a burger; and both were satisfying and delish! The food was prompt to get to our room and service was top notch! This hotel is one of the best I've been to, and I would definitely come back again. Just make sure to book it when there's nothing being held at the Pomona Fairplex as I heard it can get really crowded.

Melissa the so called supervisor at night of course thought she was sweet,  but she was snobby and unprofessional.  Took an hour to check in at 11pm with my two kids that were tired. I had to ask for towels twice at the pool area and found another lady talking v to her husband later that day that she was still waiting for towels. Lack of staff or slow, don't know. Paying extra for the CLUB,  they should offer more food at 530-730.  Rooms look nice and clean , but my husband did wake up with insect/bug bites on his tummy. I'm supposed to stay here for about 3 weeks because my house got flooded, but I'll be moving elsewhere.  Also they didn't want to give me the FIFA promotion with the soccer ball so I'm out. The insurance is supposed to be paying them close to 20k and they can't give me a soccer ball, PETTY! !

Would have been a 5-star review if it weren't for just a couple of minor things.  Beautiful hotel, large rooms that were very comfortable, and the pool / jacuzzi were amazing.  We went for the LA County Fair and the private entrance (+ discounted tickets) made it very easy to go when normally parking and getting into the fair is kinda hectic.  My children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and I was pleasantly surprised at the food they received when I ordered room service for them for breakfast.  2 minor issues: 1.  The view from our room window was to a rooftop of a separate building.  We fully expected to see the lush green that you see when you are driving in.  2.  Paying for wi-fi was a little annoying, not a deal breaker, but when we found out we had to pay for parking, that was a little much.

I loved my suite sized room! It even had a refrigerator and microwave which made things so easy for me. There was a television in the living room AND in the bedroom. If you were attending a conference in the hotel or had some event at the Pomona Fairplex, I would recommend staying at this hotel. Parking is free which was an added plus considering that if there is an event at the Pomona Fairplex, the Fairplex itself will charge for parking.

WiFi is $10 per day unless you use their complimentary WiFi in the lobby. They also mentioned to me that they have social hour from 5-7pm where you can have two samples of wine for $5.

The Pomona Fairplex is right next to the hotel. All you have to do is walk through the hotel and the gate entrance will be there. I would recommend that you obtain a map from the front desk so that the pathway is clear to get into the Fairplex if that is your final destination.

considering its Pomona, I wasnt expecting much. But I was wrong. The hotel is super nice, and he rooms are superb.  All the rooms are suites. The bed was to die for, and I ordered room service, and it was there in 20 minutes. My only suggestions would be the bathrooms need serious upgrading, especially the wallpaper- and the water wasnt very hot in the shower.  Oh, and they need to adjust the doors so they dont slam shut. I heard doors slamming shut all hours of the night, and it made my whole hotel room shake.

More like 3.5 stars but I'll round up!

    Pros:
    -very friendly staff
-clean, spacious rooms. I made a reservation for a regular king sized room but was upgraded to a king suite upon check-in. Not sure if this is a common practice or not, but it made me pretty happy! Idk what the regular room is like, but the suite has everything I need (microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, a TV in each room... heh)
-parking wasn't too difficult at night

    Cons:
-no free wifi :( I believe it was $10/day for up to 3 devices
-breakfast was a rip-off and I don't remember there being any choices in the surrounding area. I like being able to walk from my hotel to the nearest cafe, restaurant, etc. I had to drive out to buy food, which wasn't a huge pain, but not something I prefer.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and would probably return if, Heaven forbid, I ever end up in Pomona again.

The operator said no rooms available so I go back to desk the same lady goes on computer and says no rooms. But I said I just asked u 2 min ago and there was rooms so she walks in office again and comes out and says sorry no rooms. I go on hotels.com and there's rooms available wth is there problem.  They must be judgemental on who walks in. I will never stay here again. Nobody didn't really know what to do and I thought that was unprofessional. They didn't even have a first aid kit to help me with my injury. It was a let down because the rooms are great and the bedding is so comfortable. If I'm in the area I might stay here again, but it won't be my go to place unless I'm going to the county fair.

I understand some less open minded people might balk at five stars for a Sheraton but I must say this is a gem in Pomona, next door to the fairgrounds and Lake Bonelli.
Why did I give this hotel five stars?  First, the service is kind, friendly and sincere.  The staff cares about their guests and the sincerity of their service overwhelms me.  Better service than the Trump Hotel, sorry Donald.

Next, the room is more like a small suite so for the price (I did get a great deal on an Express Deal through Priceline) it offers more than other comparable hotels such as the Hyatt.
Finally, pets stay free.  We didn't even bring our dogs but knowing I could go get them if there is an issue with the sitter gives me additional peace of mind.

This hotel is perfect for a family or couple who wants to enjoy luxurious service and a comfortable small suite with a fridge and microwave  and enjoy cycling the hills of San Dimas and fishing at Lake Bonelli.  Note:  There is no horseback riding at this time but the hot tubs are ready at the top of the hill.

This is my second time at this hotel, and I chose it this time because I had a great experience last time. Somehow I remember the bed being more comfortable (aka fluffy) last time, but that is not to say it is not comfortable now. The rooms are spacious and the beds are quite nice. The staff is friendly as well. Overall, great experience. Unfortunately, I got stuck across the hall from a bunch of loud high schoolers on a field trip, but that's not the hotel's fault. That's just bad luck. I also think all hotels should offer free wi-fi to its guests, but it's $10/day here, which I think is outrageous since I am already spending almost $200 a night. That said, this hotel is very nice, especially for the area, which i don't consider to be great. Of course, it's not a 5-star hotel, but you're definitely getting what you pay for.

I'm taking off 1 star for paid in-room wifi. $10.00 a day for internet is pretty steep. Also, be aware that the water bottles in the room cost $2.50 each. You'd be better off buying the $2.00 water bottle from the vending machine.

Stayed here for a local wedding.  Nothing particularly notable about our stay.  No greeter at the curb though they did offer to bring our bags up during check in.  Gentleman at check-in was very nice and efficient.  Plenty of parking.  The room had plenty of space.  Slightly dated look but everything was clean and in good condition.  Room had a cherry odor to it, opened the windows right away, must have been recently air freshened.  $10 for wifi isn't breaking the bank but having stayed in 6 hotels of various sorts over the past two weeks, this is the only one to charge. I would probably go with 3.5 stars here but not an option, so 3.

Summary:  Fine place to stay for a night or two.  Very vanilla.

Filthy room on a noisy floor, gave us the wrong number of beds and then told us there were no others available. Tried to use the pull out but the frame was broken and it fell through, nobody answered at the front desk the 3 times we called.

Someone knocked on our door at 6 in the morning and ran off, couldn't sleep after that because the walls are so thin we could hear everyone getting ready. Everything in this hotel smelled like cigarette smoke.

I was not expecting too much at this locale right next to the Pomona Fairgrounds, but that just goes to show you that you should never assume anything. Clean and spacious, beautiful guest rooms, and a very comfortable bed. I can't give five stars on this review because of the front desk hassles but once I got to my room, they were forgotten. Just be sure you get the room that is reserved to you! Can't comment on the dining, but the dog-friendly atmosphere is very welcoming. $10 for Internet/Wi-Fi seems a bit steep, especially since we are Sheraton gold members. Ah, well. Still a lovely place to stay with a fantastic price.

My wife and I stayed here for one night as she was performing at Flappers Comedy Club in Claremont New Year's Eve, only 4.5 miles away.  For the price, it was one of the best rooms we've ever had. A suite, with two rooms, two TVs, Starbucks coffee, two complimentary bottles of water, super comfortable bed, enough doors to make two couples feel like they had some privacy, and the room was clean. Reception staff was nice, lobby was beautifully decorated. We missed out on the breakfast, but were 100% pleased with everything. We'll definitely be back in the future if the need arises.

Lobby is fairly updated for how old the hotel is. The water features ad some style and the elevators are really nice. The towers are unique in their design. Once you get a few floors up, the age starts to show more in some of their retail outlets and public spaces. The room was nice and clean, but is starting to show its age. I would recommend staying here once for the experience, but then would suggest someplace newer. brand new and really nice.

Here's a problem to be aware of. The "shuttle service" they claim they have is VERY sketchy. Do NOT rely on it to get you to or from the Ontario airport. It is frequently not available. It requires hours of advance notice. They do it IF they can - it is not a regularly running back-and-forth shuttle with maybe two vehicles you might anticipate. We stayed here since we thought it would save us renting a car. Mistake.

Beyond that, the place is getting tired. It's OK, but it needs a couple million bucks poured into it. If you start looking closely, or not-so-closely sometimes, its age and mileage starts to show.

And finally - while the quality of the food in the restaurant was good - portions were VERY tiny for big bucks. I know it's SOCAL, and I get it. Even so, be prepared to drop a pretty penny on a snack.

We attended a large (300+) meeting today at The Conference Center, and it was splendid.

The good measure of a Conference Center is not so much the food, but the facility. It has to be clean and well lit, open and airy, and the staff has to manage the crowd. When everything happens correctly it looks effortless and the HARD work is transparent to the guests.

Today was a first class winner. The staff worked briskly and with professionalism. The food (buffet) was brought out in small batches and frequently so nothing was empty, the plates were warm and clean, and all debris was taken away without intrusion or delay.

Well trained professional staff! Nicely done.

I was here for a business seminar/training session in February where my company rented out the entire hotel. The fact that the staff were still friendly and helpful throughout my stay says a lot for the quality of people this Sheraton chooses to employ. Gold star number one!
This is a pretty nice hotel. I wouldn't say my jaw dropped when I walked in but it's a clean hotel and it definitely looks kept up. Elevators are right around the corner from check-in and the signs leading to the pool, sauna, etc are pretty well done. The only thing I found a little confusing was the map by the front desk showing where the fitness center was but I figured it out so it was no biggie. As for the fitness center itself? It's one of the cleanest and nicest I've been to at a hotel. It's not huge but I was definitely impressed with how clean it was and the variety of equipment and weights available for a hotel gym. At no time did I feel like the equipment was going to assassinate me mid rep. With that said... the jump rope may have tried to strangle me but we worked out our differences and parted as sweaty friends.
I really loved my room here! I liked the layout and all the comfortable chairs and couches. The bed was pretty decent for me (I like really firm beds) even though it wasn't like sleeping on a rock (I like to channel my inner Fred Flintstone) and of course I was able to make a pillow fort with all the pillows they provide.
The hotel bar was also great. The two bartenders were rad! They recommend and made some great drinks for my friends and I was pretty happy with my coffee and dessert. They joked around and were entertaining when it was slow and when the bar filled up with millions of drunk partiers they handled it all with skill.
I'm not sure when I'll need to stay in this area again but I would definitely choose this hotel again. The Sheraton Fairplex is a badass hotel for only the most... uh... badass travelers? Yeah.
    I'm a fan!

I just blindly booked a room here, as I was going to a show at the Fox Theater. I figured I could take an Uber cab to the venue. I'm glad I stayed here! The room is a suite with an enclosed bedroom for privacy. I had my Mom with me, so she was able to relax in her "room" while I slept on the comfy sofa bed. The restaurant in the lobby is nice if not a bit fancy with the "farm to table" selections and daily specials. Everyone at the property was very nice, there was plenty of (free) parking, and I will stay here again. $10 wifi, though-ugh.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of mature landscape located directly across from a nice park. Clean room, comfortable bed, good amenities. The staff alone I would've given 5 stars. They know hospitality! We originally were scheduled to check out at 11AM on a Sunday morning. However, due to a wedding we attended the night before. We slept in until 10:30. I frantically called guest services to request an "extended check out" & would be okay with additional fees. The young woman I spoke to said she could easily do a 1:30 check out for me at no additional cost since it was a low occupancy level day. Ugh, what a relief considering we probably had a little too much fun the night before. Not to mention the hotel is also located near all major freeways, shopping, & eateries!!!! I highly recommend the Sheraton :)

Staff is friendly, the entrance outside is very grand and inviting. Reminds me of Home Alone for some reason. Towels smell like industrial factory.. Good for staying a few nights for work.

If you need to spend the night for a Fairplex event, stay at the Sheraton! It's within walking distance :) This was the best spot to stay at for HARD's Day of the Dead. We could walk back to the hotel after the festival when we were exhausted. No sitting in festival traffic!

The best part of the Sheraton experience is that they supplied free shuttles to the Fairplex! We used them everyday getting to the festival and walked back so we weren't sitting in traffic (it was way faster to walk back).

Breakfast isn't free :( It's $16.50 per meal and they add $4 if they bring it to your room. We ended up going to a nearby breakfast spot. Wi-Fi is also $10 per day.

The rooms are nice and comfortably fit our group of 5 people. They have a huge Queen-sized bed that fits 3 people and the couch pulls out into a bed that fits 2 people. There's a microwave and small fridge.

    Very friendly staff!

    *Conference Center Only*

I was at the for a Christmas Party and it turned out to be a good venue.

As soon as I walked in it felt as if I had walked on the Titanic, because this center is just massive. With extremely, exceedingly high ceilings with chandeliers above with wooden walls just beautiful. I am a sucker for good interior design and architecture, if you couldn't tell already.

I really didn't know what to expect for the dinner, but it turned out to be really good. For starters we had dinner roll w/ sweet butter of course and a very nice escarole with sun-dried cranberries, roasted pine nuts, and Rosemary focaccia croutons.

For the main entree we received braised beef short rib and pan seared organic chicken with port Rosemary sauce. The sides were Asparagus, mashed potatoes with gravy & squash.

To finish off the evening the dessert was soo good. Both were delicious; we had crème brûlée and white chocolate cheesecake.

It was a really good night full of partying dancing and laughter. And such a great venue to hold a grand party.

I was nicely surprised by this Sherarton.  We stayed there on NYE to attend a nearby show.  When we went to check in, a bus had arrived, but, despite the crowd, we were assisted quickly.  The desk staff was friendly, and agreed to a late check-out time of 1:00 PM....my kinda place!
Our room was a small suite with a a large balcony.  The views were gorgeous (see photo) and if it hadn't been so cold that evening, it would have been the perfect place to have drinks.
One of the major pluses was the free tram that took us to our theater in town.  We didn't have to wait for other passengers or even order ahead of time.  We just walked down and spoke to the driver.  He took us right to our destination.
I really liked the Christmas decorations in the hotel...all silver and gold... really pretty.
I took off one star because the room service was so bad.  Room service is usually bad, but this was really bad.  We ordered two apps and one sandwich and were given one place setting.  I'm sure I could have requested another, but we were heading out and I didn't want to wait.  The chips and guacamole app includes lots of chips, and very little guacamole.  The chicken pannini was so dry that I couldn't eat it.
If I were in that area again, I would definitely stay in the Sheraton again.  I just wouldn't order room service.
