We stayed here this past weekend for a weekend getaway.  The hotel didn't offer king size beds, on-site dining or bar, pool/spa, or even a basic bath tub in the suite, so that was a disappointment.  Recently purchased by Wyndham Resorts, the hotel has been modernized in the past 2 years.  The rooms are modern/contemporary.  The carpet was hideous - the pattern is not a friend to a person with a hangover HAHA.  Not exactly my taste, but I'm sure someone will enjoy it.  Our first night there was fine, but the second night we must have had a heard of elephants upstairs because that's all we heard all night - running from the bedroom, to the living room, to the bathroom to the kitchenette...Repeat....
The staff gets 5 stars - remembered our name every time we walked past the front desk and the same thing with the doormen and they all were genuinely friendly.  
Overall, a good stay, but not up to the Wyndham standards we've become accustomed to.

We enjoyed a week in San Francisco,complete with gorgeous weather! the Canterbury was an ideal location for walking as well as access to public transport (cable cars,streetcars as well as the bus,which stops almost outside the front door).The staff were very friendly and accommodating-from the doorman to housekeeping.Special mention to TJ at the front desk and Christine, the concierge.Very helpful!
We booked a car to take us back to the airport,and after a $55 cab ride in,the $50 cost was a no-brainer!
The suite was so much better than being in a hotel room-enjoyed the wetbar for snacks and drinks.I missed a king sized bed,but after seeing the room sizes it was not a sacrifice.
Everything was well maintained and attractive,and the business center was especially convenient for printing needs.
I had signed up to attend a breakfast,but after reading comments here and elsewhere I cancelled that-thanks for the heads up,people!
There  was a list in the room with suggestions for meals and directions to various attractions-very helpful.
A good value and great location!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here.  Prior to our trip I read a lot of reviews mentioning aggressive sales people pushing timeshares.  I am happy to report that we didn't experience that at all.  When we checked in we were told to talk with a concierge but declined.  The staff was helpful and never mentioned timeshares or attempted to sell us anything.  We rented a car for the week and used the hotel valet service.  At first we thought the fee wouldn't be worth it but it turned out to be completely worth it.  It was much better than trying to park on the street.  The room was nicely decorated and very clean.  We had a lovely view and enjoyed watching the city from our room.  My only complaints are that we had difficulty regulating the temperature in the room and were either too hot or too cold.  Luckily we didn't spend much time in the room so it was okay.  The double bed also felt very small.  We are used to a king bed at home and the small bed kept us from ever feeling well rested.  Other than those two issues we really enjoyed our room.  After driving around the city we found areas we liked better than Union Square (check out Cow Hollow) but if you want to stay in Union Square you will be very happy choosing Wyndham Canterbury.

I got to visit my parents who stayed at this hotel for a week.  The staff was friendly and exteremely helpful.  The concierge really helped them navigate the city.  It is within walking of Union Square and lots of other tourist sights.  Beautifully decorated rooms!  Everything was very nice and clean.  We had a hard time with the tv and someone came up with in minutes to help out.  GREAT SERVICE, BEAUTIFUL HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION!! I highly recommend the Wyndham Canterbury Hotel.

Loved this place! Friendly employees, helpful too. Room was great (i had a one bedroom) had kitchen utensils, toaster, blender, microwave. I'm a young female, but I felt safe walking around the neighborhood by myself, even after dark. There are a few bums sleeping in doorways in the mornings though. Good location, a decent walking distance to chinatown and shopping. My only complaint: horrible coffee in the lobby, but there are coffee shops on most blocks!

Everything about the Wyndham Canterbury was perfect for my San Francisco experience. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. The bellhops are kind and speedy. Even the garage attendants at Canterbury's designated garage are great.

I spent a little time in the workout room and considering it is San Francisco, it really didn't need to be more than it is. I would have loved a sauna or a pool, but it doesn't take down the score at all that this place doesn't have them.

The room is great! Plenty of room in every room. I was a single person staying there and it made for a very opulent time.

Whooooo! Signed up for yelp just to give a review on this place. Where do I start? The food wrappers under the sofa, the toe nail or the junk found elsewhere? Hmmmmmm..... so hard to know where. But if you have trouble checking in and have the above happen you will get a $50 in house credit (goes great with toe nail). And the final kicker, it costs $15 to use wifi at this place. Not really value for the money or the expectation when looking at the stars the hotel gets.

My husband and I stayed here through our uncle's reward points for 4 nights during the week. The staff is exceptionally friendly.  Something we're not used to being from the East Coast.  The concierge service, ours being Laura, was a big help. She guided us on our check in night and then asked us how we were doing on our apartment hunt (we moved to SF and this was our first stop on our apartment hunt).  
The room was nicely decorated in a contemporary modern fashion with reds and golds and silver accents.  Amenities were plentiful, though we didn't use many besides the 24 hour laundry. Would've liked to use the 24hr gym. =P It definitely felt like a NYC hotel!  -Paige

I love this place! I woke up my first morning and the people in the room above were either running around, or had kids in there...the moved me to an upper floor, center room. Much better room, better layout. Fabulous location, i flew and didn't miss having a car for 5 days. I did have a variety of friends pick me up and drive me all over....but I did plenty of walking. Lots of cute stores to shop at, walking distance to Macy's Union Square, and the Cheesecake factory on top. I can't wait to go back! The pictures, although accurate, don't do the place justice.

Duck the Concierge Strong Arm and the rest of your stay will be terrific.  These folks will do nearly anything, including dragging you across the lobby, to get you to buy timeshare.  If you agree to the 'free' breakfast, you give them an hour of your vacation and put up with all manner of used car salesman techniques before you can escape.  Past this assault, it is a lovely, clean, pretty hotel in walking distance of everything.

Even better than being pretty, the hotel staff is fantastic.  They are so, so friendly and helpful.  They go out of their way to assist you.  I would definitely stay here again.

The name is actually the Wyndham Canterbury (formerly Canterbury Hotel). This resort is part of a timeshare that me and the hubbie got about 2 years ago. We live in the bay area, but since we have a baby now and wanted to take him out on his first vacation trip, we wanted to do it close by.

The resort is at the heart of downtown, so remember to bring your walking shoes because parking can be a pain. And that is the one con about this place, no onsite parking, and if you do decide to have a car with you there is an optional valet service which is $30 plus tax per night per vehicle with in and out privileges.

The urban-style resort has a classic flair to it. They have one and two bedroom units and Presidential units. We stayed in a one bedroom unit and it has an under-the-counter refrigerator and microwave. I believe the Presidential units have full kitchens.

And the staff are very friendly and nice, overall stay was great! I would recommend this place!

We purchased a friends timeshare points and booked 3 days at the Wyndham canter berry resort in San Francisco.  This is a beautiful property, with very accommodating staff. The problem was we agreed to go to a breakfast presentation with the hook being they would pay our $30.00 a day parking bill. We knew it was a timeshare sales presentation, which we have been to before, so we know the drill. After 1 hour, I asked the sales person how much longer it would be, as we had no intention of purchasing a timeshare, and she became rude and stated it could take 1 to 3 more hours. I was shocked at how rude she was, so we got up and walked away. I do not like the high pressure sales tactics of this company. Why would I spend a small fortune for a timeshare when I can buy my friends points and stay there for a lot less than a small fortune.

Great location downtown.  Staff was super friendly.  No parking onsite only valet which is $30 a day.  No car needed you can take public transportation anywhere u need to go which was very helpful.

The hotel rooms are well-decorated, spacious and clean. I enjoyed every minute of my stay at the Wyndham Canterbury and would definitely return for my next visit to San Francisco. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in accommodating any of your needs. The hotel is in a central location and near Union Square where there are many shops as well as walking distance to many other tourist attractions in the city.

Highly recommended for a wonderful experience!!

Stayed here with my husband for 5 nights. Our 16 year old son was with us for 2 of those nights. Fantastic!

Stayed in room 315 - 1 bdrm suite in the Presidential wing.

Great price for both the room & parking - in comparing comprable hotels (room size, location, ammenities) this was almost $100/night less for room & pkg

Immaculate - Old hotel that has been completely renovated, modernized

Extremely friendly & helpful - there are always 2-3 hotel staff behind the desk in addition to 2 women at the concierge desk

Great location - restaurants all around, Union Squ just 4 blocks away

Fitness room was clean and good enough - treadmills, bikes, stair climber, weights.

Room was comfortable, modern, immaculate. Kitchen is completely stocked for cooking, pullout sofa was very comfortable for large 16 yr old boy, bed & pillows - best ever!, curtains & airconditioning in bdrm make for a dark, cold, awesome nights sleep.

Free Wifi & TVs work perfectly. Shower was huge and luxurious.

Only 1 negative and it really did not bother us - view out our windows was a brick building about 5 feet away. There is a little couryard out a few windows but not much to look at. On the upside this meant there was no noise from the street:-)
I will definitely stay here next time we are in San Francisco but will ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

I'm a Wyndham owner and I love the resort itself. It's on the outskirts of the tenderloin, across the street from Fleur de Lys restaurant. We stayed for the second time this last Friday night. For some reason, it's not enough that we are already owners and have spent good money on our points. They started stalking as soon as we checked in and we were only there for one night! It took us 10 minutes to get out of the lobby because the "concierge" (read: saleswoman) kept pushing us to attend a "45 minute" (read: 4 hours last time we got roped into it at another resort) presentation and "free" breakfast. Then, they called our room about 30 minutes after we got up there, AND left a letter under our door. Sure enough, the phone was ringing at 8:00 the next morning. They called THREE TIMES! I wouldn't go so far as to recommend not staying here, but unless you are seriously interested in being wooed (if I had money right now, I would), be ready to get stalked.

I stayed at this hotel through my parent's time share points last year on Christmas weekend, and had a nice mini-vacation!  The location is great, as it's walking distance to plenty of good restaurants, Chinatown, buses and cable cars, and Union Square, which was nicely decorated for the Holidays.  The concierge was very friendly and helpful, and even gave us some leftover free transit passes!  The only catch upon entry is that you have to pay $30 per night to leave your car there, because you really don't want to be driving short distances in San Francisco.

The reason I knocked off one star was because some of our equipment didn't work, like the lights in the living room and the TV.  Also we were in the Presidential Suite :-) but with a view not exactly facing down town, which would have been nice, but we were technically out and about for most our time there.  

In one full day, we went to Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District, Fisherman's Wharf, the Aquarium, and Ghiradelli Square!  Lastly, before we left to Sacramento, the concierge guided us to some great wine tasting in Sonoma and even gave us free passes!  All in all, it was a good experience and I'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for a couple nights during the winter season. The place is centrally located to the Union Square, Chinatown action. You can walk there in less than 5 mins.

Valet $30/night. Use it!

The interior is very nice, with a great lounge area, recreation area for pool, etc.

The rooms were small, but very nice, clean and well appointed. There was a nice sized fridge, microwave, stove and plenty of cooking necessities.

The historic feel and character of the hotel remains through the renovation. This has won awards for being the best Wyndham hotel last year.

Overall, a great place to stay.

"Valet parking" is the worst!  You'd think that paying $31 dollars a day would get you your car to you in less than 40 minutes when you're the FIRST person asking for a car at 6:00 AM.  Also, the water faucets fell off, TWICE.

I planned a family vacay over this past Thanksgiving and my family had a great time staying here. It was a nice central location. Within a couple blocks, there was chinatown, lombard street, and fisherman's wharf. Chinatown was within a "walkable" distance, but i wouldnt say lombard or fisherman's wharf was....at least for my parents. i think my brother and I would've made it. :)

I am a worldmark owner, not a wyndham timeshare owner, so I didn't know what to expect, but i was pleasantly surprised. I don't know whether they are newly remodeled or not, but everything looks clean and very modern. You can see off the yelp pictures that there's a lot of mirrored decorations and even glass tile....fancy in comparison to typical timeshare locations.

but the location and the decor was not what got this place 5 stars. it was the fact that they didn't hassle me AT ALL. i love that. i love and hate my membership because i love visting all the different locations my timeshare has to offer, however i hate that when i get there, they have to hassle me about a presentation or an upgrade. i'm already a member, i'll let you know when i'm ready to upgrade, you dont need to hassle me every chance you get.

and this place didn't hassle me at all, and i loved it. i loved that i could just ENJOY my vacation, and not run away from sales. so thank you Canterbury for making my stay so incredibly pleasant! :)

The location is wonderful. It's blocks away from Union Square. The service upon registration was great. The deluxe rooms are small but, fairly nice. It went downhill from there. The heat didn't work all 5 days that we stayed (this is in DECEMBER!!). We complained but, nothing was done to resolve the issue. The front desk personnel seemed overwhelmed when dealing with only 2 people. When a third customer arrived, 1 being dealt with and 2 standing in line, he really didn't know what to do. The 45min. owner update took over 2 hours, not at our request.

The overall experience was OK but, I don't want to go back until they get their heater issues fixed or until the summer.

Very friendly staff and beautiful room! The only drawback is that there is no maid service because the rooms are timeshares. They don't tell you that prior to booking. Regardless, I would stay there again. Great location!

Their is nothing wrong with this place.
BUT there is nothing good to say about Wyndham.  
Do not purchase a timeshare from them.  They keep changing their program and try to get you to buy more points.  Every year they change their program making older owners second class citizens.

Only reason I did not give 5 star is they tried to sell and sell and give me presentation AGAIN despite the fact that I am already an owner.

Well, we enjoyed the city and hotel anyway.

Awesome location.  New, modern, clean units.  Small and noisy though.  Lots of street noise.  Bathrooms have minimal counter space, and the counters are the raised adult height.  There wasn't a chance our 3 or 5 year olds could brush their teeth or wash their hands without us picking them up every time.  The timeshare speech wasn't even mentioned to us so we didn't even have to deal with that.  Also - if you reserve a Presidential, make sure they're giving you that - we didn't realize until our last night we were given a Deluxe and yes, there's a difference.

We loved the Wyndham Canterbury!  We stayed in a one bedroom unit and had 2 adults sleep on the fold out couch.  

The style of the place is so classic and clean.  The staff is AWESOME, knowledgeable and engaging.  We were wearing sports logo shirts and we laughed at their good natured team ribbing.  Everyone - from the concierge staff to the front desk to the gentlemen who hailed us cabs, was SO helpful and willing to give great recommendations.  THANKS!

Yup, we were invited to the owners presentation...even though we rented from an owner on Vrbo.com , we attended for the $100.00 gift certificate.  It was enticing, who wouldn't want to vacation like this on the reg, but it's not in the budget now.  We made our time limits known, as well as our financial situation early on.  It was uncomfortable walking out after 2 hours (promised only 1.5 hours)but that was the last place I wanted to be on vacation.  Not interested, don't go.  They didn't twist our arm to attend.

I really wish this location had a roof top patio, or something to look at after a long day of walking the city.  However, the free washer & dryer, and beautiful rooms made up for everything.  I would definitely stay again.

Sutter Pub rocks - go there for breakfast at least.  Go on the van tour suggested by concierge, Patrick was hilarious.  Stay out of the Tenderloin - which is right around the block. There are homeless, addicts and an overall shaky area.

This is the greatest value and hidden gem in SF.  Beautiful, new, huge, clean rooms with fridge, full size coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher. The location is fantastic and the people were very helpful. We were fortunate to not get the sales pitch. I will stay here every time we're in the area. Btw I booked on VRBO.

What part of NO don't these sales people understand? We clearly communicated our intentions and refusal to "upgrade" at the beginning of the presentation, but they were ignored left and right. The sales rep took it personal and was barking all the way to the lobby which eventually turned into a heated argument. The guilt trips of wasting their time didn't work on my Italian blood, but nice try. Wasted my precious time, the sales rep completely ignored the fact that I made plans for the day. The overall experience I had with timeshare presentation really lowered the quality of my vacation experience.

The rooms were decent, well decorated. I could have given this review more stars, but the heated argument destroyed how a good vacation should be. Their 24 hour onsite activity/gym/entertainment rooms were wonderful. Lastly, our room was haunted.

Thank you, Wyndham, for a great experience.  Your service was top notch, and above and beyond!  You made our visiting Australian friends feel so welcome.  However, their experience with the time share people wasn't as pleasant. Their sales girl from Ukraine (tall, pretty blonde) was rude to them once they said they couldn't buy into a time share and treated them poorly from then on.  Everything else other than the timeshare was awesome.  Yes, I would stay there again....without the time share talk.  I'm still giving 5 stars, because the time share people shouldn't reflect on the regular staff.

I'm giving 2 stars because the place was very clean and nice. Not what I expected in the city of Tenderloin. The staff was very friendly too. But why didn't I give it 5 stars? Because of the sales people who are trying to get you to become owners. They were awful and they don't listen to a thing you say.  They talk on and on and in circles. Yes, it was all in a very nice tone, but still very rude.  When we told them we have no money to become owners, this one lady name Maria says "what a shame, it's not for all people, just the special ones!" WTF does that mean?  They pretty much told us that it doesn't matter what your financial situation is, becoming an owner is worth it. I'm not going to skip on buying groceries just so I can be a part owner of a place that tries to bully people. I hope no one is that stupid to get pushed into becoming an owner like that. And why become an owner when you can't stay whenever you want. I originally wanted another weekend but it was completely booked. If you don't want to be harassed on your vacation - plan on staying somewhere else.

This hotel more than met our expectations, and our expectations were very high!  We didn't get asked to attend any timeshare presentation.  All the staff are SO friendly and helpful.  The suite - WOW.  We got the 2 bedroom presidential suite.  It was HUGE!  And gorgeous.  I have already recommended several friends to stay here next time they go to SF.  It's a perfect location, walking distance to Union Square.  We got the unlimited cable/bus/train pass at Walgreens and had no problems getting around.  Will definitely stay here every time we go to SF.  The pizza restaurant, Piatta, 1 block away is really good too.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this resort. It was a great stay. The location is perfect. It's walking distance to union square and Chinatown. The resort is beautifully decorated. We had a one bedroom which was perfect for us. Not much of a view, but we've heard if you face the street it can be noisy. Everything was perfect. Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in San Francisco.

I love the location of this hotel! It was also very clean and service was spectacular! The tour groups also stop by here to pick you up when you book any types of tours - which I think is pretty cool :) SF is a touristy place after all.

While we were here, we were able to experience union square at it's fullest. So many things at walkable distances.

There's also a pool table in the computer room where we shot pool for a bit. The gym was also nice. Overall - wonderful experience and I'm glad I'm a Destination Club owner. :)

Wasn't impressed with the communication between all employees. A great deal of confusion between checking out, when we had a shuttle for the airport, and what to do when the fire alarms are going off at 7am. It was a very elegant and nice hotel. A nice location and easy walking distance to China town and union square. When I went up to the concierge, we were told we were "crazy" for walking to the Golden Gate Bridge. Not something I want to be called by the concierge.

We booked the hotel through VRBO and the hotel did not give us the room promised by their staff and promised us a full refund.  Out of the $1460 we paid, we could only get $500 and have no real recourse.  If you want a view of dirty apartments, to get hassled incessantly by timeshare people, and not get what you paid for, this is the place for you!

Do NOT book this place unless you're a member of their timeshare. I booked through a leading hotel booking site, and even called a week ahead to re-confirm, yet when my family and I turned up, they claimed to be overbooked and couldn't wait to ship us off to a truly horrible alternative. A hotel that can't be relied on is the very worst kind of nasty surprise. Bad bad bad. Beware.

I want to ask you a question.

Question: How much does Wyndham Resorts value a family who has been members for 20 years?

Answer: $30.00 exactly.

Clarification: Not $30 for each family member. But $30 for all of five members.  

Another Clarification: "We should be happy about that amount!"  we were told by several Marketing Employees (imagine hearing that)

After receiving the worst guest experience and being tossed around from person-to-person to get resolution, we were told by Mr. Buck Taylor that we are only worth $30.00 for our troubles. We went to the city for this event and the day was ruined because of this experience.

Gift Card Value:   $50.00
Deposit we placed: -$20.00
Parking in SF:         -$6.00 (covered by a front desk employee)

20 year membership value = $30.00  

Definitely not priceless....

We arrived for Valentine's  weekend, as busy as it was in the city. Our flight arrived early im talking like 8 in the morning. In all my years of traveling. Never have i been able to check in earlier  than noon some even make you wait till 3pm to check in. However Wyndham  Canterbury  SFO let us check  in as we arrived. Has the best courteous  staff. They go out of their way to help you out... A must stay if your in SFO.

What a find.

Relative to similarly priced hotel options in SF, our 1 bedroom suite exceeded expectations in terms of size and aesthetics. Plenty of amenities including free reliable guest wifi. Extremely quiet at night, despite being in the tenderloin. Parking is $31 overnight valet. Be sure to call the valet ahead to let you know when the car is ready as there may be a 15-20+ minute wait. The staff was friendly and accommodating enough to give us 4 guest cards.

I found this hotel online as a special deal... It was literally $100 less a night than ANY other hotel in Union Square so I was a bit hesitant to book...

Upon arrival we were greeted with outstanding hospitality and knowledge of the city. The ladies at check in and concierge were extremely helpful and were genuinely excited to share this city with us!!!

Our hotel room was lovely - I only wish it had a bathtub. But that's ok! We stayed 2 nights and had a very enjoyable experience.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to a friend and I would stay here again!!

We love the Wyndham Canterbury. Stay here every year for DreamForce. Awesome staff, coffee and one of my favorite neighborhoods. Great food in walking distance and close enough to sketchy areas to keep you alert.

Great spacious rooms.

HORRIBLE TV controls---get new ones. THE WORST TASTING MOUTHWASH ON THE PLANET. Have you ever had mouthwash that tastes like Tequila? Stay here and you will.

We have stayed at this Wyndham property for 3-4 visits to SF now, and it's long overdue that I write a review.

This place is a hidden gem in SF. Huge rooms. Amazing location - walkable to everything. Helpful staff. Good amenities (gym, business center, fun room), especially for SF.

The rooms are great. There's a main room with a full kitchen, dining table, and four chairs. There is stylish art throughout. Then, there's a nice living room with a view and a flat screen TV. Attractive houndstooth carpeting. Plentiful drawer and closet space. The bedroom is quiet and super comfy. Air conditioning cold and crisp. Overall. This is our favorite place to stay in SF. We will be back ASAP!

Only thing missing is a hot tub or pool.

My parents have a timeshare with Wyndham, so if you're reading this please take note, "timeshare."  Of course they will try to get you to buy because it is also a business.  I have a great idea for those of you not interested, just say, "No," and stand firm.  Works for me every time!  Now for the review.

This is a really great property!  The front staff was friendly and helpful.  The housekeeping staff was friendly as well!  We had a two bedroom unit and it had a lot of space.  I love having a kitchen because it's nice to take your time in the morning, and drinking coffee and eating in your pajamas.  We were on the 10th floor and noise was minimal....but you did hear the normal city noise like horns and some loud people.  

I only had a few issues.  Cold air came through the large gap under the front door, which I was able to cover.  The coffee maker stopped working, but they replaced it promptly.  The wifi stopped mid-morning but we were leaving so no biggie.  Oh, and there was not enough counter space in the 2nd bathroom.  Other than that, it was a great place to stay and can't wait to return.  It is away from the Union Square noise, but close enough to walk everywhere; Union, Chinatown, North Beach, public transportation to farther parts of the city.

I look forward to staying here again.  Friends of ours stayed at the Westin St. Francis and for what they paid, they could've stayed here with a lot of room to move around.

Great location especially if you want to be near shopping. Walking distance to Union Square and China Town. BART is also near by and easy to walk to. I live in the bay area and love SF so it's hard to give it 5 stars, simply because it's not my personal favorite area of SF.

We stayed here for free for a weekend because my husbands boss couldn't make their stay and let us stay in their timeshare. The room we stayed in was huge! Comfortable bed, clean, and quiet. The front desk and doorman were extremely friendly and know the area and can recommend a lot of great activities to do in the area if it's your first time visiting. We didn't need that, but it's great to know that they have employees that know the area really well.

Oh someone mentioned in their review that the mouthwash that they provide taste like tequila. I agree and will also have to warn you: DO NOT USE THE MOUTHWASH AFTER A NIGHT OF DRINKING, YOU WILL THROW UP.

They are a little pushy at trying to get you to sit through their presentation, but hey it's their job to get you to buy a timeshare with them, but that can be a little frustrating.

Stayed here a few days ago for a birthday getaway trip with two of my girlfriends. My Grandmother has been a Wyndham timeshare owner since I can remember and all of their properties have been great. I know the drill on the sales pitch so I say no from the get go and they don't bother you much after that.

The staff was great (we loved Enrique, the gentleman that brought up our bags)! There was a strange beeping when we first got into our newly renovated 2 bedroom presidential suite. When we got back from running around it was fixed. We wanted an auxiliary cord to play music and the staff brought us one in a matter of minutes. The hotel is gorgeous and conveniently placed in the city. Will definitely stay here next time I visit.  It was quiet at all times.

Got a really good deal on booking.com for 3 nights for $800 in March. I really didn't know what to expect other than knowing that it's central to everything and walking distance to union square. When we got there it was a little late, after 8pm. The valet guy was there opened the doors and asked if we needed any help, we didn't know where to park so we just asked if we could check in first and get the scoops before deciding to valet.

The front desk was extremely nice, checked us in and gave us the option of parking at a garage which is a block away or valet for $30/day. I for sure didn't want to walk a block everyday and it parking at the garage was a in and out fee and that was going to be an issue because we didn't know how often we would go out. I think valet was he best choice, they are there pretty late as well and it comes straight to the front doors. The front desk also offered my cranky 3 year old some cookies, so from there on he always asked for cookies and they were always so generous. The lobby is huge with a nice comfy seating area and complimentary coffee and water.

This is a time share so do not expect for house cleaning daily. Let me just list all the pros about this place...
- laundry room (free) with complimentary soap and fabric softener sheet
- rooms are spacious
- one bedroom room has kitchen, huge living area and a dinning table.
- complimentary snacks (water, popcorn)
- family room (
- DVD rental (free)
- Bathroom is huge (no bathtub)
- walking distance to union square
- block away from trolley pick up
- walking distance to amazing restaurants. (Pizza place up the street closes at 2am daily)
- staff is very pleasant

Yes I would definitely come back again, the star missing is for the squeaky bed.  But other than that it's a luxury hotel without the heavy price tag.
