Definitely not the most luxurious hotel, but it was a great price. I stayed here for a week, which is probably too long, but it wasn't bad. The breakfast is kind of sub-par, and you better get there early because they don't restock any of the food. The pool is just fine. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. There is an apartment complex next door and the kids are a bit loud during the day, but it's quiet in the evening. The location is pretty good, next to the airport and even closer to Santa Clara University. Overall, pretty good.

Spent almost two weeks here job hunting, easy access to caltrain and San jose.  Everything you need without paying too much.  Breakfast was good and included, plus there is a pool and microwave in the room.  Try to ask for a room facing the parking lot, as road side rooms are a bit noisy.

Perfect for out of town guests, no frills , large rooms and a quick morning breakfast. would not want to hang out there for my hole vacation but for putting out of town guests that need a place to stay it worked great.

Friendly staff, clean room, good rate, okay breakfast(they do have a waffle maker for a warm morning meal, and most importantly a comfortable bed. I would come back as it is a convenient location to the airport, downtown San Jose and my work. Pool was under repair and I was not notified when booking so that was kind of a drag. Overall great value, clean and comfortable. Oh and free parking!

Very pleased with our stay. Jasmine at the front desk could not have been more helpful or kind.  Close to Airport and good food. Rooms are well appointed, and as promised I got the room on the backside and it was so quiet.

When I was first looking on-line for hotels, I came across this place and wondered why it was so much cheaper than the others. I thought maybe it was in ghetto or something but I took a chance and it paid off.  Okay so this isn't the Waldorf, but it actually isn't bad lol.  The area is quiet and when I checked in, the front desk lady was nice and I was in and out in about 5 minutes.

The room is pretty good size and the bed is comfortable.  Everything appeared clean and the room is equipped with a small fridge and microwave.  The bathtub was clean as well the shower curtain.

I have never stayed at a best western before but for the price, 55 dollars a night, you really can't go wrong.  Unless that is you want to splurge and get a nicer hotel, which I am for when I want to drop the cash lol. Parking is free and the rooms have free wi-fi.  Some nicer hotels I had looked at were charging 20 dollars a day for parking plus daily wi-fi charges.

I actually woke up early and checked out the continental breakfast.  It wasn't bad.  They have a waffle maker, various breads, muffins, and cereals, a few other things, and coffee and juice.

Overall, staff was friendly, location was quiet and central to a lot of things in San Jose, and the room was great for the price.  Do not expect anything fancy, but it serves it's purpose.  Oh, and the TV in my room would play sound, but no picture =( Had I stayed in my room all day, I would have been pissed, but chose to ignore it thanks to my macbook & free wi-fi...

Stayed in this hotel friday night for a concert in San Jose and I liked it!

Very clean, friendly staff, super close to anything you could possibly need (mall, gas station, HP pavilion, fast food etc) and right off the free way making it easily accessible. The entrance is a little strange considering it is not what hotels usually look like but it is not a hassle at all. The rooms are pretty nice but not at all luxurious. The bathrooms are super small and our tv was not working but we were only there to sleep and the beds were AMAZING! super comfortable and smelled fresh, no problems with the noise of the airport or anything.

I am giving 4 stars because this place did not wow me but was pretty decent in price (94 for a weekend with AAA) and was clean which is my main priority when looking for a hotel. I would recommend this place to someone who would stay for a night but if you were to stay for a few days, I would probably go somewhere nicer with more room and a working tv.

Friendly staff large rooms that are  nicely done and clean . Morning Continental  breakfast was cool but could use more fruit. One issue the Ice machine was out of order had to ask staff for ice they had small bags in freezer but not enough for the ice chest, other than that  our stay was enjoyable.

While staying here ask for a suite it's worth it. It's large and modern. The rooms are recently renovated and are nicely decorated.  This spot is just off the freeway without freeway noise. The rooms are large and comfortable.
The staff is always friendly and the rooms always clean.

Definitely not a bad place. Super clean and quiet. Very close to down town SJ and easy to get to. It's in the middle of a residential area so it's super quiet. I've stayed here several times and really think it's a great place for travelers.

They're in the process of remodeling their top floor.  Its a decent clean place. The bedrooms are new, beds are firm and new. Clean carpet. Big bathrooms that are clean.

The front desk staff is a hit or miss. Forgetful at times and make sure that you get the person's name when you require certain accommodations.

They've raised their price by $20 since they remodeled. Parking is always available. A walk across the street to Bill's Cafe and a gas station next to it.

Close to 880, 237 and 280. Not too far from the airport.

This is a really clean and nice hotel! Rooms are nice and don't smell like old rotten moldy rooms, the beds are really comfortable and the cleaning people do great everyday! Been here for a week on business and everything was smooth. Ladies at the front desk are so friendly and nice as well and have all the answers. Even being right by a busy street you can't hear the cars which is also nice. Great hotel to stay at and worth the money!

This place is somewhat of a hidden gem. They have everything you really need: complimentary breakfast in the morning, wifi, a fridge, clean bathrooms, and clean clean rooms.

The price when I stayed was roughly 100/night, but I think they are usually miche more expensive. I thought this was a great great place to stay. It's also pretty close to Santa Clara, popular restaurants, costco, etc.

The location is great (right off of the 880), the rooms were clean and the service was great. I just wish they had a wider selection or a variety for breakfast. The quality of the food was much like you would get at most hotels in this price range. Also, in Room 202, the bathroom door was way too close to the toilet seat.

Wow! Super clean, really nice folks at the front desk, free decent breakfast, and safe location. Parking lot is fully lit and in view of all rooms. I had accidentally made my reservation for a different day, but the guy at the front desk changed it and checked me in under 5 minutes. Definitely recommend this location.

I was pleasantly surprised with this location, due to my previous stay at the Reno airport location.  This hotel looks recently remodeled. Comfy beds, smelled fresh, wasn't even afraid to walk barefoot in the room. I would ask for a room facing the parking lot...free parking btw. The rooms on The Alameda side face heavy traffic. Backside was silent except for a muffled airplane noise every now and then. Nice flat screen tv with a DVD player in the room. Lots of cable channels too. The continental breakfast was better than most I've had. Same fare, just a lot tastier. They even have a Keurig type coffee machine with quite a few choices for you. Fair price, especially in San Jose on a very busy weekend...Cosmo Prof Spring Style Show at the convention center.

The only drawback to this hotel is that the elevator happened to be broken during my stay. And of course I was on the second floor. But the staff did offer to help with your bags if needed.

I also couldn't figure out the darn heater in my room. I was freezing! I finally called to the desk and somebody came up in about 2 seconds to fix it. I don't know how she made it up the stairs so fast. All in all, I'd definitely stay at this location again.
