This hotel is a magnet for druggies/drug dealers/pan handlers/hookers. I've been threatened by people coming out of this establishment. As for giving them my business, I'd rather take my business to Motel 6, or any other place for that matter. There has been times when I had to stay in a motel and I chose Motel 6, in North Sunnyvale by the 101. Though I had to drive a little further to work but at least I know I won't get "shanked" in the middle of the night.

If I can give this place zero stars I would! This place is disgusting prostitutes every where and cop cars patrolling all the time! The place smells really bad and there's still trash left in the rooms be careful you might catch something! Did I mention that there is yelling and prostitutes watch you and knock on your door! Avoid both locations! Price not worth it!

My room had roaches, and maybe bed bugs too.  I would not stay here again.

Run! Run! Run! Don't look back. This will be a lengthy review, but stay with me. We booked this hell hole on Priceline.com last week. It was $68.99+ tax per double occupancy room. We booked two rooms. We live two hours away, and wanted to stay here for our kids to swim for one afternoon, spend one night, then drive to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk in the morning. Our confirmation said check in after 3:00pm. We arrived at 2:45pm, assuming we would be able to check in soon. The front desk person said that they were still cleaning our rooms, so we needed to come back around 4:00pm. We were a little annoyed, but let it go and took the kids to a store to walk around and stretch. I called back at 5:00pm, and was told that our rooms were not ready, and to call later. I explained that I had five kids with me, and they were anxious to get settled in and head to the pool. I asked what time our rooms would be ready, and was told that the 'cleaning guy' wouldn't answer his phone, so they 'didn't know what to tell me'. At this point, we were all starving, so we headed to get dinner. At 6:30pm, we drove back to check in, and a different guy checked us in. We looked on our receipt, and it was for one room only. Assuming he had made a mistake, I pointed it out to him. He said I am now only giving you one room for now. I was livid! I told him that our reservation was for TWO rooms, and check in was supposed to be anytime after 3:00pm. He then smirked and said 'Actually, check in is just after 3:00pm, your not guaranteed to have a room at 3:00pm.' He then said that we were only guaranteed to have a room between 3:00pm and 2:00am the next day!?!?!! I could not believe what was coming out of his mouth. Never in my life have I experienced such detestable customer service! As for the motel, I had read the previous reviews, and I must admit that I thought people were just being sensitive and overreacting. I was soooo wrong! This place is 10 times worse than the reviews. It is 90% single, middle aged men sitting at their doors drinking and scouting out hookers. The other 10% is drugged out women, who appear to be the ones being scouted. I have stayed at the worst of the worst and am not picky, but this was the dirtiest, scummiest motel I have ever seen. We demanded a refund, and told them exactly what we felt about our experience, and they couldn't care less! Please, please, please, listen to our fellow 'yelpers' and take your business elsewhere!

Do NOT stay here. Scary ! Owner must get a cut from the drug dealers that run around here. Slept with one eye open. Some druggie sitting on the stairs and wouldn't move out of way. Old beds sitting in parking lot should make you wonder. Spend the extra $20 bucks and go to Motel 6 just up the street, you will thank me later !

Disgusting. Horrible...worst place I have ever stayed in my life. I did not check reviews"obviously" or I never would have chosen it. Had to stay overnight close to my sons dental surgery center. He has Autism and we have to find specific places for his needs. This place was only one of two or three close to the clinic under $150. I'm assuming because its so close to airport. I only live 70 miles but considering the difficulties I would face getting him up and thru traffic I thought staying close would be best. NEVER AGAIN. At least not there. Nasty women when we pulled on should have been first red flag. Then old nasty men alone to check in. Second red flag. By now I'm just wanting to get him food and get to bed. We ate at Denny's..close where the MOTEL 6 is ( should have picked them first). After dinner drove onto lot where there was a scruffy looking "security" guard? Next red flag. He pointed to my room around back. Got to room. Noticed nasty girls walking up and down stairs. Men staring like I was wearing a neon sigm . gross!!!! Now I'm just wanting to get into the room since it was almost 9 pm. My son takes sleeping meds so I figured he would sleep fine. After we were both in bed started hearing banging and broken glass falling..then vacume sounds from next door. Waited...finally called from desk asking why there was a cleaning crew out at 11pm? She said what room are you in? I gave her room she then says ....ohhhh. They are fixing the window above you ..someone tried to break in. Ummmm Next red flag. She says she will tell him to stop. I hang up and start having anxiety. Still vacuum sounds from next door on off on off. I go outside see a construction looking guy carrying a window. I say um were trying to sleep its almost midnight are you almost done. I keep hearing vacuum going. He says. Yes..just need to put this on...but no vacuum. I said yes...there is a vacuum or some type of machine going off. He says no..prob AC  no....no AC ..its a vacuum. His name is George...the MANAGER!  He walks away and says he will b done soon. At this point I'm looking at all these reviews and realizing I'm screwed. We will probably be raped..robbed or have bed bugs by the am when we leave. I call motel 6 at midnight asking if they have a room. Nope. I lay on bed. No more window replacing noise but still a vacuum. On off ...then "moaning" .....I put my ear to the wall. Its the guy guys girl  Whatever the hell was in there. Vacuum ...moan...vacuum.. Moaning. Omgggg. At this point I'm almost vomiting. I turn on the TV AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE.  I lay there not even wanting to visualize what the hell was happening in that room but I'll never look at a vacuum the same. And I could never have been happier for the alarm to go off after getting maybe three hours of sleep. So....Don't GO..DONT DONT DONT GO .  you want to be scarred for life. I am.

This motel deserves a zero star. It's 10.45 pm here, and I am checked into another motel (vagabond inn) and I can hear the prostitutes from across the fence. I hear drugs, prostitution and cockroaches are an issue here. This area is also totally bad. I saw 5 pro's walking down the road in the evening.

Do not stay here.  My office is directly behind this hotel and we have hookers and pimps and drug users shortcutting thru our lot to and from the EZ 8 on a nightly basis, leaving used condoms and fast food wrappers in their wake.

I clicked that star by accident. Seriously, I called THREE times because the girl answering the phone kept hanging up on me before I could even finish my sentence or question THREE TIMES! My friend had flew in a day early and he called me at 345 am he couldn't find a pace to stay I couldn't offer him my home because I live cramped with family and there is literally no where to sleep. Anywho.. This lady answers the phone and I asked if they had any rooms available she says "we only have 2bed" I literally said "ummmm" then paused because I was thinking maybe I could stay the night and help him pay it. Right when I said "okay, how much..." CLICK! There she goes hangs up so I called back again and I right away asked "how much is it for a 2bed for tonight" she said "104 dollars" I said "okay what time..." CLICK!! There she goes again hung up on me! Ugh I got so mad this bitches nerve!! Only because my friend needed a room I called again too ask "what time is check out, and do we have to check out this morning" she says "yeah at 11" literally hangs up right after what the hell!!!! I don't care how deep in the ghetto this place is have some common curtesy ugh!!! I was about to drive over there just to call her out!

Are non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes. We had to buy her own air freshener to be able to stay in the room because that was the "nicest room". The tube TV barely had any channels on the ones it did have came in very fuzzy and snowy. There were people living in the motel that would stare at you as you walk in and out of your room and to your vehicle. The pool and spa, we didn't even want to go in due to the uncleanliness of the hotel. And scariest of all as a hold up to the hotel there were four San Jose police officers looking for certain person who frequents the motel. It would not recommend this hotel to anybody and if you can pay a couple more dollars instead in the other hotel in the area.

Needed a place to stay for a night after being in town last month. Unfortunately it was very last minute & didnt have time to go online & browse thru hotwire.com .  For the sake of not making a friend drive me around all over town, I just told him to drop me off on 1st St / Brokaw.

It was around noon & we just got into town from a 8hr drive from Vegas (didnt really get a chance to sleep since we drove back at 3am).  In desperation just to get some shut eye, I came back here.  And it's still as shitty as it was the last time. Only difference is they raised the price AGAIN!  $76 for a night (gotta be kidding me!). But had to since I was dropped off, had no car, & friends didnt get off work till later.  Plus, sleep deprivation pretty much made the choice for me.

I got some much needed rest but yeah, still the same druggies at night.  I ended up sharing a wall with a couple of wierdos who were up until 4-5am in the morning.  I could hear them walking in and out, who knows what was going on in there.  It just sucked...

This hotel reminded me of the hotel from Breaking Bad where all the hookers and meth addicts stay up all night. The front desk guy was funny when I asked for a refund he said "I wouldn't stay here either".

Classic experience, but I ended up down the street just as you should.

I live a block from here. Don't stay here! The cops are always here. Filthy prostitutes are always here. Sketchy looking thugs are always here. How is this place is still in business?

Update: 2 dead women found in room on Aug 10, 2014.

Scary experience from the min I came in
    I felt bad.
There are some regulars living there like it's a neighborhood doors are open and they hang out outside by their car's probably trying to sell you drugs or do something bad

I have been harassed twice at that place in one day.
And I even got almost robbed by a dude
Ask me how much money i have.

    Really scary experience!!!

If you like the opportunity to pay for a very very cheap prostitute or buy drugs at 3:00 am, then this is your spot!  My boyfriend was harassed by a bike riding dude (up to no good).  He had to aggressively shoo away the drug peddler.  When we came back later at night, a woman of the night came out of her room, obviously thinking we were delivering her drugs.

When you check in, there are signs indicating that this nonsense won't be tolerated.  I assumed it meant there used to be a problem.  However, it is current, and no one seems to care.

How is it possible that the motel employees would allow this to continue?  Do the dealers give them a cut?  Do the drugged up prostitutes service them?

Anyway, if you like a messed up adventure, you go here!

The bed was comfy, though well-worn.  There was HBO.

This place was so crappy that the tv is one of those old tube kind, AND there's a sign saying that if you try to remove the tv, it'll alert the motel staff.  ha ha.  You can't give away those tvs.

Poor water pressure and tepid water in shower.

I wasn't impressed with the patched roof job.  They easily could have repainted it.  That would have cost under $10.
