    Based on the two stars I thought it would be a bad experience but it was not.  The bed was the best of any hotel.  The service was very pleasant and the room was very clean.  The food was nothing special.  For the price and the location it was great.

    DO NOT STAY HERE. There were RAT TRAPS scattered through out, we counted 8 to be exact.  The pictures on the website are very deceiving, it is not modern and trendy. It has old shampoo dispensers in the bathroom. The lobby had one chair in it. Nothing like I was hoping and expecting from a Sheraton Hotel.

    Customer service was so bad. People worked at front desk talked and looked so mean. Very unprofessional. I am business traveler and  I have been experienced good customer service at the other worldwide hotels except this Four Points by Sheraton. I believed Four Points just bought this hotel but kept old staffs.  The hotel is in middle of nowhere in Silicon Valley but very pricey. My room, I was in smelled like rat and it was very noisy. Definitely I will never ask my company reserve this hotel in my next trip. Hotel was remodel but also definitely front desk needs to have re_training on customer service. Whatever left from previous hotel didn't work.

    When I first arrived everything looked great.  Older hotel but the bed looked comfy and the room was very spacious. I was in town for biz and thought the rate was really high but I couldn't find anything else.  My coworker dropped me off as he had booked a hotel a few miles away.  Well, I'm in the furniture biz and know all about Bed bugs and yes, I found 2 outside the mattress encasement on the box springs of the bed.  I immediately called the desk and was told they were fully booked and could not move me. I complained and was offered a free breakfast-- ugh!  I had to threaten to sit in their lobby and they agreed reluctantly to move me.  The worst part, they quizzed me on what I'd used in the room, which I had not used anything, nor climbed in the bed so I'm sure they put someone in that room after me. The manager in the morning tried to offer me a future complimentary stay-- I said no and then recd an email offering $50 off a room.  The manager seemed clueless about the fact that "changing the sheets" doesn't cure the problem.  Beware of this hotel!

    SO DIRTY! Stains on the floor, the walls, the chairs, the doors, the ceiling,...basically everywhere! The room we were in smelled like an old shoe, and during the time I was here I've gotten bit twice by bugs. I think they were doing some sort of construction or renovation, so it was also very noisy. The only nice thing I can say about this hotel is that the staff is friendly.

    Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Easy access to freeway. Slight odor from cleaning products that was not appealing and odor in the hallway that smelled like stale smoke.  This trip was for business and I would stay again.

    Stayed there 11-28-13.. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical, due to some of the past negative reviews I had read.. We actually were impressed with Four Points by Sheaton, we were allowed to check in early 2 hours (I was impressed) the lobby was nice and clean and friendly staff very welcoming and helpful..

    Room smelled nice and clean they also provide free bottled water, linen was nice and fresh we were in room 267 .. I would definantly stay here again ..

    Went to the on site  restaurant  11-29 for something quick for breakfast, they wanted 10 bucks for a chorizo/egg burrito $$$$ . I am not paying 10 dollars for no burrito and I dont care how good it is.. There is a Flames coffee shop/restaurant on Santa Theresa/Bernal  that served a nice big breakfast for about the same price..

    We came here after Wyndham gave away our room downtown and sent us here, about 13 miles away.  We walked in and Michael greeted us pleasantly, and quickly gave us a nice room. The room was very spacious, clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The cons were the air conditioner.  It could be turned on, but the temperature was preset and could not be adjusted.  I woke up two times during the night very hot.  I would have liked the room 5 degrees cooler. It would not go below 70 degrees.  Next con:  the toilet didn't work properly.  It would give a great initial flush, but you couldn't flush it again for about 5 minutes.  Next con, if I knew I was going to stay in South San Jose, I could have booked this room online cheaper than I paid through Priceline.  I feel like it was a bait and switch on the part of Wyndham.  Not good business practice.

    I searched around and this hotel has the best deal.  The overall review is not 4 stars and I  am surprised why not ? I gave an easy 4.  The hotel is VERY nice for this price ($129+ tax) . What a surprised !  Lobby smells WONDERFUL. My daughter wanted to stay for another night because of the smell. Nice decor and nice color.  Furniture is modern and clean.  The room is very nice and clean. Bathroom is a surprised. Neat, modern, and has very nice supply of amenities.  I didn't expect that.  We used the pool and the fitness room.  Both decent size. The bottom of the pool is slightly dirty. Nice hot tub.  We went to the restaurant right outside the parking lot. Walking distance 1 min. Food not bad. Very convenient. I plan to stay there this month again when we go to Great America. The only bad thing is that I got woke up by a man TALKING SO LOUD in the hallway at 2 am.  I complained about it the next day but what can they do. It's not their fault.

    Oh how I wanted to give this place a solid four stars. But two things made it go down to one star. I am laying in bed writing this as I am upset.
          The check in Friday afternoon was great. We came at the front desk shift change, which was barely noticeable. The front desk was very nice and friendly. We got checked in quickly, as I am a Starwood member. The room was very nice. It was better I have experienced at other similarly priced hotels. It had recently been renovated as it used to be a Holiday Inn. It was much better than a Holliday Inn. They had a hotel full of high school kids for some event, but the rooms and the hallways were surprisingly quiet.
          Now for the bad of the stay. We woke up Saturday morning. We got showered and ready to start our morning. We left the towels on the floor like they instructed us to do if we wanted new ones when they cleaned the rooms. When we got to the lobby we asked when they were going to clean the room. He said no specific time, but do I have a specific time I wan it done. I asked if it could be done before 12 because we had a wedding to get ready for. He asked could I push it back until 1pm? I said no problem. He guaranteed me it would be done. We arrived at 1 to get ready for a wedding at 3. The room was not cleaned. We called down to the desk, and they said they would send someone right away to clean. Lets just say it didn't happen right away. So we didn't get back into our room until 1:45.  Needless to say, we were late to the wedding, can't rush a lady getting ready. Where I am from your word is your bond. Don't promise something you can't do. I would have just asked for some new towels and had them clean the room later.
          Then to top it all of, after the cleaning was all done, I found a maggot crawling in the back out the toilet. I didn't tell my woman, and this would have made her very upset. I just killed it, and kept it moving. But I noticed it, 15 minutes after it was cleaned. Didn't seen to clean to me then.
          I wanted to give it four stars, as my woman really liked it before the whole housekeeping incident. But this really messed up my view. I don't think I will be returning!

    This place was a Holiday Inn, it still pretty much is with a way higher price and different name. We stayed here 3 nights. Got a 2 queen bed room, it was nice enough, it was clean. The issue started when we first arrived though. I booked over the phone with this company and prepaid to get a better rate. Once I got there I asked if I could upgrade to a large suite. The lady said since I booked over the phone with the company I had to call and change my reservations they could not do it at the hotel. I told them I did not book with a booking agency that I called Sheraton and booked, still it didn't matter. I could not understand how hard it is to give me a credit and let me give them more money for a larger room??? Once we got in the room it was fine, till my son went to open the door, the door handle on the inside fell off right in his hand! Ok things break understandable. Went to the front desk and told them they looked at me like I was crazy, then the response was well all the service guys have gone home for the day. I don't care I told them I need to be able to get out of my room and want it fixed now or a new room. They tried telling me they had no more rooms, then after going back and fourth a bit magically a room opened up 4 doors down from us....This place is sub par at best, oh and it is not near downtown, it is 20 minutes away from anything.

    This place is beautiful. The pricing is very reasonable. The room is very clean with the most comfortable bed. I can not understand why people gave bad reviews. If you want to be really picky the water pressure in the shower is moderate thanks to the water saver. I really recommend it!

    Very clean. Nice hotel for the price and great customer service. I stayed one night and the manager totally gets customer service. The pool was nice and there is a nice restaurant right on sight. It's not outrageously priced.

    The kicker: power strip on the night stand next to the bed.  This is an innovation in the hotel industry that MUST be replicated.

    We recently stayed there 2 nights recently.

    What's not to like? Very comfy beds, large rooms, quiet location, friendly staff, and a good price.

    When we checked in we found that the a/c didn't work. Within minutes the maintenance guy showed up and replaced the entire a/c unit.

    We wished there was some kind of breakfast or a discount coupon for the restaurant but no biggie.

    The pool is kind of remote but clean.

    I recommend this place.

    This place has a newly renovated lobby (since January 2013). Lobby looks great. The rooms have furniture to match, so I figure the rooms are newly renovated also. Convenient ATM located in the lobby.

    The front desk staff was extremely nice and welcoming. The furniture in the room had a cheap Ikea/Target-type feel, but we had a nice stay in a quiet room. Everything was clean and we had no complaints!

    Not sure why other Yelpers gave such a low review of this hotel but our stay was great!

    Nice hotel with amenities we needed. Beds very comfortable and spacious rooms. Fastest check in and check out I have ever experienced at ANY hotel. Staff friendly/professional and knowledgeable. Clean modern hotel with ATM in lobby with free wifi. Property clean and well maintained. Easy to find location with heated pool.

    Negatives- No fridge or microwave in room =(......Would suggest providing continental breakfast.

    Would def stay again.

    The easiest way to explain our stay is worth the email I sent to for points the first hour of my stay there.  

    just arrived for my stay and this has been a miserable experience already.

    1. When I called to ask about the hotel bar, I was NOT informed that it was a night club. There is a difference between a hotel bar and a night club in the hotel parking lot.

    2. I was unable to park in a parking spot because all of the parking was taken by the night club patrons. (There should be hotel guest only parking)

    3. The front desk clerk told me when I walked in that he would be right with me. I waited a couple minutes while he was on the phone. As he hung up, he looked at the lady that arrived after us and asked if he could help her.

    4. The white comforter on the bed has black stains on it.

    5. The free wifi is not working so I am using my phone data to send this because I can't use my laptop.

    6. my bed is butted up against the elevator so I hear it running constantly, People's luggage ruining across the elevator threshold And people bantering as they come out of it.

    These are all things that have happened within the first hour of my stay. This is unacceptable for a motel 6. This is outrageous for a Four Points. I would bring it up to the front desk clerk, but he has proven to be less than helpful and unable to handle a regular check in, in the first place.

    Four Points had easy freeway access.  The lobby was decorated nicely for Christmas.  We walked in and the front desk manager realized that there was a huge party going on in the bar and we were tired so he said he chose a room for us that was AWAY from everything and quiet.

    True to his word, the room was simple, clean, and well decorated.  The amenities were basic but everything we could have needed was supplied.

    The air conditioner/heater did have problems though.  Every single time the heater went on to regulate the room temperature it made a TERRIBLE hissing noise.  It made sleeping unbearably difficult until I got up in the middle of the night to just turn it off.

    As people were leaving you could hear the hallway doors slamming.  This is not the fault of the hotel but it only added to the restless sleep.

    I would return as the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and very reasonably priced.

    Great location on the South end of town just off the 101/85 interchange.  Close to several shopping centers just across the highway interchange.  Comfortable bed and room w/ Wifi.  Comfortable lobby and friendly staff.  Best price in the area.  (Lower than the nearby Courtyard by Marriot and Extended Stay).  Also, much cleaner, quieter, and with a full service restaurant inside the hotel.  Really great value if you know San Jose & have a rental car,  and/or don't need to be downtown or in Cupertino/Milpitas, etc. for business.

    I had no idea this chain was so ghetto. Room was beat, paint falling off the door frames, broken bathroom tiles, dingy lighting, etc.

    The good:
    The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Room service was quick & the food was very tasty.
    Our room itself was nice. Very clean. Big screen tv & free wifi were definitely a plus.

    The Bad:
    The suite that our room was connected to was in disrepair. Couch cushion covers were loose and would not stay on the cushions, the coffee table had huge chunks of wood taken out of it. The cabinets had stains on them, and things were scratched into mirrors. Very tacky if you ask me.

    I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons, but it was pretty surprising to me that none of these issues were fixed. Makes it seem pretty ghetto. Sure, it's close to the freeway, but next time I'm in the area, I'll be staying at another property.

    My networking group recently had our annual mixer at the Four Points. Thier largest room easily accomodated our needs. They also catered the event. The food was great, especially the pot stickers. Rosanna, Director of Corporate Sales & Events, was very kind and easy to work with.

    If your company has routine planning events, definitely check this place out. You don't have to worry about the downtown traffic or parking. There's also some great dining across the way, the Summit Steakhouse.

    I give Four Points four Stars. I still need to check out the rooms and poolside for the five star. I plan to take a tour soon.

    I am an SPG Platnium Member and this hotel is a POS.

    Here are my list of complaints that were never resolved.
    1) Toilet in room bathroom didn't flush properly
    2) Gym never had water or towels
    3) Coffee pot in the lobby was always empty
    4) My green choice points were never allocated (I would have to call and remind them at least 3 times)
    5) I was given the wrong room and basically entered someone else's room
    6) Staff attitude was not helpful at all
    7) Wifi never worked

    I would've rather stayed at a different hotel chain than earn points at this Four Points.

    Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I am a Starwoods Preferred Platinum member and the owner of my company.
    I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons or anything and I am fine with just the run of the mill business type style hotel.
    What I am not fine with is their atrocious service! My employees had to stay in one bed together because they wouldn't allow them to stay in a room under my name. Since it was in my name and I couldn't come up the first night, they cancelled my room with no notice and when I came up the next night, there were no rooms so I had to sleep on the floor (there was no cot!) while I let me two employees sleet in the bed.
    The hotel staff was not apologetic or helpful at all. It was basically an "it is what is" situation. It's not our fault.
    Needless to say I will "NEVER" use their hotels again, and I travel a LOT!

    The rooms and bed were wonderful. Sheratons always have very comfy beds and bedding. The pool area is nice also, but no one there checks to see if towels are available. While we were at the pool, we had to go to the front desk to ask for towels and they didn't seem to know if they had any? What?

    Now on to the PROBLEMS! I was there to attend my DAUGHTERS wedding. I am the mother of the bride. Several months ago I reserved 2 sets of rooms, both the same configuration. One room with a king bed and a second room with 2 queen beds. I had confirmation numbers for this. When I arrived, I was told repeatedly that they did not offer this configuration. I calmly explained several times that I was attending a wedding and that "Alphonso" had reserved the rooms for us. Alphonso is the event coordinator at the Four Points. The front desk staff was not apologetic or concerned about their lack of providing what was reserved.

    I finally agreed to take a king bed room that opens to another king bed room. My second set of rooms was a king bed room with a sitting room that opened to a room with a king bed. I did order a rollaway bed for both rooms at check in the day before the wedding at 2:00 pm.

    One rollaway bed arrived no problem. This is all ONE day before the wedding.

    Wedding day arrives and of course all is crazy. We call again for a rollaway bed on the day of the wedding for the sitting room. Thinking that it would arrive, we leave for the wedding site. Upon arriving back at the hotel at midnight, we find that no rollaway bed has arrived. I call to get it delivered then and am told that they are now OUT of rollaway beds. I ask for bedding for the pull out sofa and am told that they have sheets, but no blankets. I understand that Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest, but really?

    I later found out that the groomsmen AND the bridesmaids had received connecting rooms with a king bed in one room and two queens beds in another room. So much for NOT having that configuration.

    I did check on the Four Point website to see if there was any way to contact them before writing this review to give them a chance to respond, but there seems no way to email them except for reservations. Hence, this review.

    I have never received this kind of service (non-service, I guess) from any type of establishment. Needless to say, I will never stay in a Sheraton or any of their affiliates again.

    Newsflash: I just found out that they charged my daughter for the room on the wedding night when it was supposed to be "comped". Not only that, we had a total of 11 rooms reserved which is quite a bit of business.

    They also tried to get us to use their "shuttle" service. $30 for a round trip up to the site for only 6 people.

    My Husband, Sister, and I spent one night here after a concert at the SAP Center. It wasn't what I was expecting of for a Four Points hotel. We were in Room 169 and there was pink mold around the tub. The wallpaper was coming off the wall in the bathroom. The shower curtain wasn't that great because water came out and half way flooded the bathroom. Was bummed there wasn't a microwave and a fridge and glad that we brought our own ice chest to keep beverages cold.
    Other than that everything else was fine. Comfortable beds, and pillows. Liked the storage cubbies. FREE water is always nice. Liked that there were plenty of outlets to charge our electronics, that's always a plus.  I don't think I'll be back though if I had a choice.

    The only was things that were pleasant were the bed (being comfy) and the shower (the shampoo,  conditioner, body wash provided). My mother and I both have AT&T but different phones and different service areas and ZERO service (so our cell phones basically didn't work unless we stepped outside). The air conditioner kept shutting off so the room was very stuffy and hot. There was a very nice ( y muy guapo tambien hombre Jose) who helped me fix it when I first checked in but it didnt really help. I had to call again later in the evening but Jose was not there (too bad * wink wink). I will stay again but only because of necessity. It was very clean though. Don't get me wrong. It's a nice hotel. I just miss having my cell phone available. It was a pain not having access to texts and/or phone calls. Everything else worked.

    Imagine your dad trying to pull off skinny jeans, in a desperate effort to look hip. No matter what, it's still a Sheraton. In the middle of nowhere.

    No robes, no coffee mugs, no real glasses in the rooms...cause that would cost too much.

    great hotel but its on the interstate in the middle of nowhere. i actually thought i booked the Four Points San Jose (thinking thered just be one) and went to the one downtown. Nope. I had to go to the one that was specifically Silicon Valley. It's about 20 minutes out of downtown and nice for what it is... and interstate hotel.

    great staff and reliable brand. free parking and access to rooms through side doors is limited because most are fire doors.

    To say that this is in the middle of nowhere is an understatement- more San No Way Jose than SJ proper.  Still, with tech tourism from the iPhone 6 release filling up every hotel in the South Bay heading north, this was a doable option.

    The Pros: Clean modern lobby, nice staff and a little front desk store complete w/ cold drinks (beer/wine included) that you can charge to the room

    - Clean, big albeit bleh rooms

    - Pool/hot tub open til 11

    - Immediately off the 101

    - Super fast and free internet

    Cons-

    Aforementioned pool area is tucked right into the hotel so you are essentially in people's rooms, and not the scenic oasis of a prime hotel

    Restaurant/bar was a laughable Chilli's knock off- food was awful.  Decent happy hour beer specials, but the place was depressing and reminded you that you were tucked in a highway Sheraton in the middle of nowhere

    For a couple of nights of business travel, it did the trick, but i'd stay elsewhere if possible

    My  husband and son stay there there were no microwaves in the room no little  frigerator in the room they put us next to the elevator and a service closet we can hear the motor of the elevator going up and down all night and you could hear people grabbing bags or moving garbage or something they were doing something in that room and you can hear them or someone was in that room making noise the service was okay

    I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here after reading all the negative reviews.

    I stayed just one night during a business trip and I found my room to be roomy, comfortable and clean. The furniture was cute and modern.

    There doesn't seem to be a lot nearby but downtown San Jose was just about 8 miles away so a 10-15 min ride away.

    I also had breakfast at their restaurant right outside and it was good.

    Day-cation for my boyfriend and I was much needed!
    I've driven passed this hotel a couple of times on the way towards LA and I've always thought of staying a night here, since I've seen photos of the rooms and thought they looked nice.
    Finally, my boyfriend and I rented a room during Thanksgiving break.
    When you walk into the building, a strong scent of cologne hits you in the face. In my opinion, it smells really nice, but for some, I can picture it to be overpowering
    A lady greeted us at the front desk and asked us if we wanted to stay on the first or second floor. She then attempted to process the transaction for our room. We had a bit of a problem, so we had to run an errand come back later.
    An hour passes and we come back. The first floor is what's available, so we stay in room 117.
    The room was smoke-free, pretty modern, well-lit, and spacious. I adored the pull-out drawers below the flat-screen TV.
    Nice shower head with adjustable flow and they provide the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
    I really enjoyed the vanity mirror above the sink because I did my makeup with perfect lighting. They also provided a full-body mirror.
    We had two queen-sized beds and a nightstand was in between them. I thought it was pretty nifty that they had a surge protector on one side of it. Great for charging your gadgets. They also provide free wi-fi.
    The beds were so comfy and soft. I think I can still feel how the pillows molded into my face because of how fluffy they were. They also provided four pillows each bed.
    No free continental breakfast here, but their parking outside is free, for sure. They also have a fitness center and a heated pool right outside. I didn't check out either of them, though.

    Check-in is at 3PM and check-out is at 12PM, according to their website, but the lady at the front desk said it was 11AM.

    I docked off a star though, because the walls were a little too thin, as we could hear everything that was being said outside our door.

    Even through that flaw, it's safe to say that we will be coming back.

    A friend of mine was staying here so I decided to show up and take them out to dinner.  I will have a few things to say about this place including what they had to tell me about this site.

    This is very easy to get to off the freeway, plus well lit during the evening.  The packing lot is large but it has to be for the dance club right across the street.  You can not hear the music, but you see the light of the club.  The rooms are large and clean, the bathroom are well maintained and clean.

    They told me the pool was nice but just a bit too much calorie during the last cleaning, but otherwise it was clean.  They had a very nice visit, and I will recommend this location to my others friends that are visiting from out of town, plus very close to my place and easy for me to drop by.

    I dont know why it has only 3 stars this hotel must be rated 5 stars. Nice, clean, luxury and an affordable price. i'd tried many different hotels and this is definitely one of the best and the cheapest for what it offers. Plasma 42"tv extra sofa , full body mirror, desk, heater working properly, doesn't smell, really good decoration . Not to forget 2 free Dasani bottle water and Scope mouthwash (not offered anywhere else) Awesome experience :)

    Ok to start I booked through AAA and they had hard time finding my reservation.  Before I came I needed to change from a king to a double queen the lady said there wouldn't be a change in price considering they already took it out of bank account on March 13th.
    Then the first room they gave us had someone else in it.  
    The second room was fine until we woke up in the am.  My friends bed sheets had blood stains.  We told them at the front desk and they didn't offer any Assistance.  Then they wanted to charge me a different price I explained the situation, they said they would take care of it.  Well they did they went ahead and charged me the difference.  
    And their restaurant had terrible service.  My friend ordered the chicken ceasar salad, she brought some chicken cranberry salad.  The bartender left and walked never to been seen again.  They never cked on us until the bill was brought.  We let them know they have her the wrong salad they were kind enough to not charge us.  But it would have been nice to be cked on.  
    Never again will I book here.  And I will be sending this review to AAA.

    I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH SHERATON FOUR POINTS AGAIN! TERRIBLE SERVICE!

    This past weekend I booked my room at #Sheratonfourpoints in San Jose. This was my 2nd time booking because I had such a great experience with the service and facility last time. Oh man was this experience different. All thanks to one individual by the name of ROSANNA OCHOA. Supposedly "Director of Sales and Events".

    It all started with our check in "surprise". We showed up with reservations and they sold out of rooms?! Who does that?! I mean that's the entire point of a paid reservation right? Smh

    The kind gentleman at the front desk (Scott) helped us with a "Walk letter"which honored us a room at a neighboring hotel at no cost to us. We got the letter a little upset but just wanted to go get some rest as it was 2am and we had a very long day. On our way out we get stopped by Rosanna Ochoa in a very rude and abrupt manner as if we stole something. Saying "We can NOT honor that letter" followed by a phone call in front of my wife, friends and I to the neighboring hotel where we were headed to " DO NOT honor the walk letter".

    Her demeanor was extremely rude and inappropriate for the situation. She continued to repeat that "bookings through 3rd parties are not guaranteed". Although it made me very upset I had to accept the terms. We tried to be reasonable by telling her "who REALLY reads all those fine prints?" I've been booking with # hotels.com for well over 3 years and NEVER had an issue. Not even over seas.

    Rosanna Ochoa then continued to ask us to leave the premises after leaving Us with no place to stay. Extremely rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional and unnecessary. We had just been kicked out of a room we never even got. WOW! And while trying to figure out a solution this "Director of Sales and Events" is asking us to leave the premises. My goodness! Who in the world would even hire you, let alone give you responsibility to train others?

    My wife ended up contacting Hotels.com and they took care of us. The point of the story is Rosanna Ochoa turned a smooth solution into a sloppy situation. And because of her nor I or anyone with me that day will EVER book with a #SheratonFourPoints again. Thanks to Rosanna. I hope this gets to the right people and this terrible employee gets reprimanded for her poor customer service, poor decision making and unnecessarily rude behavior. We are paying customers and You treated us like delinquent teens who had no business being there. I know Karma will come around and Rosanna will regret her actions.

    Yelp made me do it! My defense may not pass muster with a social savvy judge. Will work tho for yelp loving like minded humans. That is if asked why I stayed so far away when I had social functions four days in a row in Palo Alto, d/t San Jose and SF.

    Yes it's over ten miles from Japan Town. Twenty five miles from Palo Alto. In the middle of nowhere and from the looks of it when you get to the parking lot it's pretty isolated.

    Don't despair. About a mile each way you will find four to four and a half stars restaurants. Not to mention the easy access to the highway 101.

    I wanted to stay here while Adam continues his nesting/painting at home. Well I was really banished to a hotel but the choice where to was up to me. Since most of what I do is because A. It's new to me which leads to B. I can review it for yelp! Which leads to C. Super excitement which leads to D. Finding things around the hotel to entertain myself when not doing my research.

    The suite is located on the third floor where the SPG only clients are. Clean. Two flat screen TV's. Microwave. Free bottles of water replenished everyday. I asked for more and no questions asked they give more. Nice comfortable king size bed. Free continental breakfast for two every day or $7 worth of whatever you want. Quite rooms. Very helpful, courteous staff.

    I love their lobby. Very lively. They have the extra stuff like toothpaste and shaving cream, razor free just ask. FREE wifi! Yes important stuff.

    Room service till nine at night. This is not a hotel where everybody is just seating around chatting. The staff are always cleaning, changing something running errands for the hotel guests.

    Here they recognize your loyalty to the SPG brand and they treat you as Platinum if you are. Special treatment all the time!

    Just across the big free parking lot is their restaurant Summit Streak house. That's a different review altogether!

    My four day stay was a relaxing and time well spent. I'm glad I chose this hotel.
