Not worth the price.... A Bit run down, old, try to keep it clean... Stayed in MUCH higher rated places for this price.

Good thing I didn't read the reviews first!  Might have deterred me from booking my family here.  Based on our experience, it was good.  The worst things were that there were 4 or so cigarette burn holes, but I hardly noticed them in our room.  I saw the pictures from Yelp and those are way worse than the ones in our room. The room seemed typical, so I didn't look under the covers or anything and nothing seemed broken.  We had a very normal experience.  I've stayed in 5-star places, but you get what you pay for and I'd say that our room was very clean and standard as far as these types of rooms go.  The staff at the reception desk was friendly.  They didn't have my reservation, but it only took them 15 mins to get us checked in.  The cook was friendly and had everything ready in 2 mins.  Personally, with 3 little kids, I thought the breakfast was great.  Hot eggs, mcD's style hashbrowns, sausages, cereal, milk, juice, muffins.  It's all cafeteria style, but it worked great for our needs. Clean too.  Saw a sign that said they had dinner on week nights, but we only stayed Saturday night on our way to the coast.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Its an extended stay type room for only 99 bucks a night with a hot tub in the room, a flat screen TV, a huge bed, CD player, stove top, fridge, the works. It looks like a hole in the wall place but its actually kinda nice in the rooms. The breakfast was not good, and the dinner was pretty bad, but the mall is only a block away so whatever. This was place was cool and unexpected. I had a very fun and romantic night.

I have never had a satisfactory stay there. The first time I put my mother there because my regular hotel was full, and the Valley Park is a sister hotel. They didn't have any hot water, no towels, no food. Again, my regular hotel was full the second time and this time they pulled a BAIT and SWITCH. We had a confirmed reservation of one room with two Queen beds at $89. When we got there, they said they were booked up and all they would give us was two rooms with king size beds for $80 each, which nearly doubles the price. At that point, I put my mother in the Embassy Suites, where I din't pay much less, but the room was beautiful and she had a much better time. Next time, pay the extra money and go somewhere else.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! We needed a hotel room with a refrig and micro, so we liked the amenities this hotel had to offer, but the amenties or hotel overall did not meet or even come close to our expectations.

We were surprised to walk into a hotel that smelled old and musky. We reserved a king suite and when we walked into our room, the bed linens had lent all over them, the toilet wouldn't lush, the phone didn't work, the drawer handles were missing, and the door handles were loose. After we complained we were switched to a smaller room that was almost just as bad.

Our reservation was for five nights but we left after the first night.

re's a certain feeling one gets when they stay at hotels that have their prices, low as they may be, prominently presented on signs outside. Sometimes the one in front of the Valley Park Hotel reads 69 dollars, other times 89. It's still a bargin for what you get, though some would question if it's what you need.

I come to the Valley Park when I need a vacation and can't afford to go away. It's cheap, I can usually convince myself to spend two nights enjoying the jacuzzi tub and huge comfy beds, watch some in-room TV and read while listening to CDs on the in-room CD player. It's all sorts of comfortable, and if you're the kind who can expense account a night or two to do work in a hotel, this is one of the good ones.

It's location is solid, right across the street from Felafel Drive-In, down the way from Valley Fair and Santana Row, not too far from two different movie theatres. It's a good location.

The food is OK. Well, that's not true. If it weren't included with the stay, I'd complain. The breakfasts are crappy, the dinners might have their moments, but I've never had anything very good. But, as a place that give you free juice and maybe a bagel with peanut butter for breakfast, it's not a bad deal.

There's WiFi here, as they say, though it's been spotty the times I've tried to use it. That's a bummer.

If I could give this place 0 Stars I would.  First of all, the place attracts a lot of riffraff, there is a 'massage parlor' across the street and I'm sure some 'customers' come stay here.  The non-smoking room smelled like smoke. We stayed there exactly 20min and left and went to another hotel.  A highway motor motel along the highway more accurately describes this place.

Stayed here for a week while on vacation. Its small and quaint when first coming upon the lobby.  We had booked a suite, so we were expecting a bit more of an upscale room. However, when first walking into the room we all discovered a dark and gloomy atmosphere, and more stuffy than inside than it should have been.  The desk chair upholstery was ripped exposing a massive amount of foam spilling forth. There was also a disturbingly creepy painting hung on the vaulted ceiling. Too bad it was bolted on.
So I'm pretty laid back and I let all of this go.  We just decide to turn the ac on and relax and begin our vacation.  The air conditioner did not work!  At this point I began to become a bit more irritated. The front desk gal said she would send someone up to fix it. After a few minutes  we heard a knock at the door and the repairman on duty came in.  He walked halfway into the room and said "oh that one just doesn't work" and walked out, leaving me standing there wondering where my money was going for such poor service.
That aside the next day we were able to move down the hall and move into one of the nicer suites.  And the following 6 days were much better. But the first impression did not bode well and Im still not sure if I would stay here again.

one in the beginning and 3 for the remainder of the days...

Recently had a arrangement for a block of rooms for a family wedding. Ended up with 8 rooms, each and every person expierenced some sort of fustrating problem when trying to make their reservation. If staying here be sure to double check all stay details.

After reading all the reviews about this hotel, I feel I have to add my two cents into the mix.  My family lives in the area and so we wanted to stay at a place nearby.  After searching online, we came across the Valley Park Hotel.  It sounded good and had good ammenities, so we booked it.
The first time we stayed, everything was exactily what we were expecting.  The staff was nice, the room was what we were expecting, and the price was in our budget.
The next time we stayed there, we were also given the "bait and switch" regarding our room that we had reserved.  We specifically had asked for a room on the end and were told no problem.  When we checked in, we were given another room, not what we had requested.  It was noisy and dark and smaller.  After talking to the Manager, he said there was nothing he could do, but did give us a $10 discount per night on our room.  We were stuck because there were no other hotels in the area in our price range that had vacancies.
The rest of the stay was so-so.  At least we had the jacuzzi!  We left feeling a little taken advantage of, but thought maybe we would give it another chance.  The last time we stayed there, we again asked for the room we liked and were "promised" we could have it, but again when we got there, the same thing happened.  They put someone else in the room.  We were given another room and again a discount on the room.  We also could not connect to the internet during our entire stay (3 days) which made a frustrating stay, even more-so. We never did try the food, and the only reason we kept coming back was for the location to my family, and the jacuzzi tub.

After this last time, we vowed NEVER to go back.!  I tried to get a name and number of someone to complain to at their corporate office, but no such luck...They only have an email address...sounds shady to me.

If you are in the area, and want a nice place to stay, and pay less, try the "BRISTOL HOTEL" in Campbell.  It's awesome!

Valley Park Hotel was a life saver when we pulled in at midnight. The check in was  quick and the elevator was good size (which is useful when hauling up 6 people's worth of luggage). Room space was spacious and could have fit 6 which was our original plan but we ended up purchasing another room after we found out the only entrance was past the front desk. : (
I would have liked to have had my own mini pool party in the jacuzzi tub, that came with the room but alas, we had to head out early to get to the Winchester Mansion. If you are short of stature or have poor equilibrium you might need help getting in & out of said jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was pleasant and filling but don't wait till the last minute grab your grub because they close up promptly @ 9:30 am. Breakfast options consisted of omelettes (veggie or plain) made to order, hash browns, bacon, cold cereal, fruit and toast/muffins. WiFi and laundry available but save your coin because there is a laundry across the way.

I agree with Eugi H. and say that this place is seriously not as bad as some of the reviews.  If I had one complaint it's that  the windows are older single pane windows that sound as if they're open in the rooms that face the street.  It's nice that you can actually open the windows, but you really can hear all the street noise when they are closed.

The common areas of the hotel were in great condition that looked as if they were just re-done.  My room had a new mattress, and a nice laminate floor surrounding the bed.  The appliances and jacuzzi tub looked dated, but for the low price of this hotel I couldn't complain.  My room was cleaned daily, and the towels were refreshed everday.  The cleaning products used left a nice fresh scent.

I took advantage the free breakfasts three times during my week stay, and had the free dinner one night.  The breakfasts consisted of made to order omelets with your choice of tomato, pepper, onion and cheese.  They also rotated offers of hash browns, home fries, sausage, bacon and pancakes in those three visits.  There was also fresh pineapple, fruit cocktail, coffee, tea, juice, and hot and cold cereal choices.  The one dinner I had was a choice of pasta with meat sauce or hamburgers.  I peeked in another night and they were serving some kind of beef with gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies.  Not a bad deal for the price of the room.

The underground parking and wifi was free and Darpan (aka Darek) working the desk was as nice as could be!

Taking a left out of the hotel is both Santana Row and a nice shopping mall, both within walking distance.  Taking a right will bring you into a less desirable area, but it was here that I found some nice small restaurants with authentic Vietnamese and Middle Eastern food that didn't cost a fortune and were very tasty.  (Pho Lynn and Gulzaar)

For the price, this hotel was perfect, but don't expect a place that leaves chocolates on your pillow.  I'd give it a 5-star if the windows were more sound-proofed.

Perhaps we got a nicer room than what most of these reviewers were placed in, but this place is seriously not as bad as some of the reviews make it seem to be. I did not find the hotel musky, nothing in our room was broken, everything was clean, and the place came with decent amenities for the price. They offer breakfast and dinner, which is hardly heard of at other hotels. The staff was very courteous and helpful.  The room was spacious. Our room had a jacuzzi tub, stove and fridge. The only thing I would say could be improved is the lighting in the room, but that was about it. The location of the hotel itself is very convenient, located just on the other side of the freeway from Santana Row. I suppose if I had paid $125 a night for the rooms, which some other reviewers said they did, I would have felt a little gypped, but I had gotten a deal off expedia for about $80 a night I believe, and I think that this hotel is well worth the price I paid.

On a night when you're super drunk and can not, absolutely get on the freeway... this is the only thing that's left... by all means, check in. The staff at night is really nice and doesn't question or give you dirty looks when you can't sign your name perfectly on the line. From what I remember, the beds nice, the bathroom smelled good.... the temperature was fine.

I would say... its A-OK.

Just stayed here this past weekend but only for one night. My boyfriend & I loved it! I was not 100% sure what we were going to get because of all of the mixed reviews, We were just looking for a quick get away for a night. It was one of the last places available that didn't get all horrible ratings. We were very pleased with the hotel staff, rooms, breakfast & location. We did stay on the 3rd floor, facing the street...which was loud well into the late evening. I would have given 5 stars if not for the loud street noise. The 4 person jet tub was fabulous, over all great water pressure in the shower too. The king size bed was very comfortable & a large flat screen TV was awesome!! We may make this our permanent get away spot. Oh & the breakfast, was simple with quick easy foods to grab & go or nice to sit & eat a cheese omelet, hash browns & bacon. I don't think you will regret staying here. It was a simple charming getaway.

Well, it's conveniently located and fairly inexpensive (one star for each), but that's pretty much where the good stuff ends.

The room was freezing when we walked in and the heater didn't seem to be working so we changed rooms to get a working heater. The water pressure in the shower was a trickle, but we did have a choice between scalding water and freezing water...after about 5 minutes I did finally figure how to operate the very touchy water controls. They  have a free breakfast and dinner which I did not partake of, but it didn't look very appetizing.

Generally I don't mind staying in older, even slightly run down hotels, but in this area, I'd say you can get a lot more for your money if you shop around.

From the outside, this place looks great, pine trees and the whole deal. On the inside, however, it's old. Clean, but old. Stuck somewhere in the 70's or 80's. The only reason we stayed here was because it was $125 a night, which was much cheaper than other places in the area. The saying again holds true, you get what you pay for. The heater took 20 minutes to heat up and the shower water pressure was nonexistent. They offer both free breakfast and dinner, but hot dogs aren't that appealing to me. Overall, I would have preferred to stay in the Winchester Mystery House.

If you want to experience a real haunting, don't bother with the Winchester Mystery House.

Upon checking in we knew it was going to be a budget stay but that was fine. We wanted to check out Santana Row on a Sunday night and this was the only place with room available. Now we know why.

The decor is dated and reminded us somewhat of the Overlook Hotel from The Shining in the fact that the hotel seemed completely empty, there was no activity at the hotel, the only human souls we ever saw were the receptionist and two female guests leaving. On first appearances, the place is spooky but we got over it. The amenties seems basic enough, decent king size bed, clean, noisy AC positioned right underneath the curtains so they would blow everywhere that we had to nail them down with the remote control and other paperweight objects. Jacuzzi works but it's pretty old.

After we checked in we left to visit the Winchester Mystery House which wasn't frightening at all, from what our tour guide was telling us Sarah Winchester sounded like an eccentric and charitable lady who didn't see the point of pulling anything down in her house and just kept building. We left in high spirits to Santana Row, had dinner, came back to the hotel and that's when things got weird.

Upon returning by cab we saw 3 stationary cop cars parked in the motel carpark. Headlights on, and complete silence. Couldn't even see if there was anyone in the parked cars. Weird, but there was no indication that we shouldn't go back to the hotel so we went back to the room and settled for bed. After a few minutes we noticed the mood in the room turn solemn and depressing and we turned the lights out. We heard incessant banging on the walls that seemed repetitive and happened every 30min, at first we thought it was the plumbing but we're still not sure what it was. We heard the sound of running up and down the hall and thinking about the cop cars downstairs my boyfriend asked if I locked the door. I didn't (stupidly) and he got up to lock the door and what he saw out the peephole made his hair on the back of his neck stand on end. The peephole was designed to look all the way down the corridor and he saw one dark shadow moving up and down the hall at a rapid pace, like the way the shadows move from the streetlights inside your vehicle when you're driving down a highway at night.

We tried to go back to sleep and at one point I got up to go to the bathroom and felt like I wanted to be sick and found it difficult to walk back to bed. We tried to go back to sleep, but maybe an hour later we heard creeping around the bed and what sounded like a wet dog shaking at the foot of the bed. That was the last straw. We checked out at 4am in the morning and got out of there as fast as we possibly could.

Now to those who think we brought a ghost back to the hotel from the Winchester Mystery House, I don't think it is possible. Hundreds of visitors go through that tourist trap a day and at this rate, i'm sure all the ghosts would have found a new home way before I turned up. Also we didn't feel spooked until the lights turned out. As soon as the lights were on we were fine.

I would only recommend this hotel for those interested in supernatural visitors, if that's your cup of tea.

Based on the reviews here, I was expecting a dump. But, as it turns out, yelp seems to contain a lot of high-maintenance critical a-holes. I know! On the internet?? Who knew?!

This place isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It's a little older, but it wasn't bad. The a/c and the fridge worked good, the room was nice and clean. The only negative was that the tv only got one channel and it was in spanish. The jacuzzi tub was nice as well. Also, the room was bed bug free. I am a pest control technician, so I did a full inspection of the room before we settled.

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. At night, the hotel seemed empty, but in the morning there was a good amount of people there for breakfast.

This was definitely worth what we paid for. Keep in mind, this place is a budget hotel, so don't expect the Bellagio.

I was booked here for a business trip by my office staff, and when I saw the two-star rating, comments... And photos...I was kinda freaking out.  As it happens, the Valley Park is not a hell-hole.  Good news.  It's not fancy, it's not posh, but my furniture didn't have crack pipe burns, and there were no suspicious stains.  There were smudges here and there.  There was a Jacuzzi tub that didn't...do anything, and I had to adjust the toilet within minutes of arrival.  The A/C in the halls was muggy, and there is only one ice machine, without signs to betray its hiding place.  This is not a one-star hotel.  The breakfast and dinner were no-frills, low-tech and DELICIOUS.  You get honest, straight-ahead lodging that is probably no-ones favorite, but is a great fit if you're on a budget, and need something trustworthy and sensible.  I might not choose the Valley Park again if I have a choice for my next trip, but if  I get sent back, I know I'll be fine.

I ALSO would give this place 0 stars, if possible.  DO NOT STAY HERE!  Worst hotel visit, EVER!!!!  I mean, I guess maybe I'm not in a place to complain because my husband used our Reward Points to book this place for two free nights, but STILL.  The hotel looks nothing like the pictures on the website.  We checked in around 1AM after a long drive up from San Diego and all we wanted to do was sleep.  After going up to our room, I did my routine and pulled the bedsheets back to check for evidence of bed bug infestations.  To my horror--no bed bugs but instead i found the mattress riddled with STAINS!  Gross, unidentifiable STAINS.  Super grossed out, I pulled back the comforter and the inner sheets to find pillows that looked dingy (looked like make up smudges) and a fitted sheet that was wrinkled and possibly had a body-imprint?  I don't know.  As I stood there staring at the bed, my stomach turned and I began dry-heaving.

My husband and I went back to the front desk to complain.  He offered us a new room but I wondered how much more horrible that alternate room would be so instead we opted for a "new" set of sheets and pillows that he randomly took out of the closet.  Once back in the room, I realized the pillows he gave us were just as dingy as the ones already on the bed. Tossed those!  I used the two new flat sheets to cover the bed and the pillows and then slipped the other flat sheet in between us and the blankets that were already there.  Still unsatisfied, I slept in socks, sweats and a sweatshirt with my hood pulled over my head to make sure none of my bare skin touched any of the sheets.

Because I was so disgusted, I could not get myself to fall asleep.  That, in addition to the poor window sealing and hearing the constant vroom of passing cars PLUS some rowdy upstairs neighbors who were banging on the floor every 5 minutes made for a sleepless first night.  The next day, I made a stop by CVS to pick up a set of "Dreamies" which are like traveling sleeping bags in flat-sheet form.  It wasn't until I used this that I got a good night's sleep knowing my face was on clean material.  Also, in the daylight, it was clear that not only was the bed dingy, so was the carpet, curtains and seating upholstery.  Dresser drawer was broken and missing knobs, strange burn marks on night stand, just all around gross!   Room also smelled like Vegas--like musty cigarette smoke in the air.  Major ick-factor.  MAJOR.  I don't even know how this place is allowed to stay in business!  If you're thinking about staying here, don't do it!!

**UPDATE** this hotel must have complained to Yelp because my AND other user's pictures of the filthy, unsatisfactory conditions of this hotel have been removed from our yelp reviews! FYI, my pictures were of stained mattresses, carpets and curtains. Another yelp user had a picture of a USED SYRINGE next to a vending machine. You can have our pictures removed, but you can't erase our horrible experiences! DO NOT STAY HERE! Deplorable!!!!

Our room was a bit outdated and run down. Some of the drawers were missing handles, there was an unusable refrigerator with a moldly smell if you opened the door, the heating unit's control knob was completely broken off, so we couldn't really have great climate control in the room. The latter was the biggest problem.... night #1, I was freezing because the fan was blowing cold air all night and the bed didn't have a suitable blanket, night #2, I went to bed using our winter coats as a blanket, and we tinkered with the heat, which resulted in a room that was sweltering in the night, night #3, I finally had the good sense to borrow a heavy wool blanket from my mother-in-law who lives nearby, and we finally slept comfortably!

However, the room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed a couple of nice baths in the jacuzzi! I would stay there again... especially if it's only $79 a night, and if my mother-in-law is paying for the room again! :-) But if I was paying, I'd definitely stay in the Domain Hotel in Sunnyvale... I liked that place MUCH better! :-)

Mold in bathroom. Loud street out front. Hotel staff was not very professional and very unhelpful. Answered personal cell phone while in the midst of helping us.We were billed in July when we placed the booking order rather than when we stayed in October. We were informed that the July charge had been returned to us. So we went ahead and paid upon our check in. Our bank showed other wise. We were never credited back from July. So we paid twice. We informed the staff supervisor (Veronica). We stopped the 2nd payment made in Oct only to have them try and run it again without our consent. Our bank is now handling it as fraud directly with the hotel. I sent emails and left my name and number along with info at the front desk and the hotel manager (Santiago) has still not contacted me or offered an apology or anything. Poor staff customer service all around.

Yeah. I read all these reviews first, so I wasn't expecting a stay at the Sheraton or anything. Rooms were okay...its lower then a holiday Inn-as far as the way it feels but better than a super 8 (if that makes any sense.) Yeah weird stains...like i said i was expecting all of this because of the other helpful reviews. It looks like people used to rent these rooms weekly, because they come with 'kitchens' and stale smelling cupboards... they are trying to cover up the bad in obvious ways when they just need to gut the place and start over. The one saving grace that this place has to offer, is the big jacuzzi that takes up all of the bathroom. The maid was super nice, and accomdating.
Other then that everything was fine except for the 2 girls who are on night staff. One of them has red hair, the other dark...I would leave in the evening to go out and upon exiting the elevator they just glared at me from the front desk....I had to be the one to give customer service saying "Hi how are you?" because they were just starring rudely and being awkward-almost smirking at me...strange. I suggest that this motel hires new staff for the front desk that understands customer service..because seriously they were bitches.

Would have given this place ZERO stars if I could.

Easily the creepiest, scariest, nastiest hotel I've ever been in - and I've willingly stayed in Motel 6s with NO problem. I am a single woman and was staying alone on a business trip. Don't believe the pictures they show you on their website.

One very tired and "road hard" looking woman was sitting in the hall, outside of her door endlessly knocking to be let back into her room.

People in the room next to me were making crazy, weird, LOUD noises (Not sex noises - well at least I hope not).

Upon walking into the room I thought, "I wonder how many people have shot up in this room," and "I wonder how many people rent this by the week right after they have been released from prison," and finally: "I wonder how many hookers have had sex on that bed right there."

* No comforter on the bed, none offered upon calling down to the front desk.
* Rude customer "service"
* Room was about 40 degrees
* No working light in the bathroom
* No working light in the sink area
* No working light by the door
* Room lock was broken
* Sink was broken
* Toilet didn't flush

Needless to say I hightailed it out of there and chose to drive the hour back into SF at 2 a.m. instead of staying there. No way, Jose. Especially not alone.

After very calmly and nicely explaining that the room was not as advertised, I was refused any reimbursement (I even offered to pay for the time I was in the room).

DO NOT STAY HERE. EVER. I would have rather slept in my car.

THIS HOTEL STEALS- please do not leave anything behind!!!  I ALSO would give this place 0 stars, if possible.  I stayed here upon Expedia's recommendation for an affordable business stay type hotel.  It was anything but.  It is low-class, the air does not work properly, the people staying there are somewhat questionable types as they provide the whole extended stay motel feature.  I decided to order a movie and the movie came up fuzzy- only good thing was that they credited the movie charge back to my account.

The one thing that is just unacceptable is that I left behind an expensive robe that I had bought on a recent trip to India - I left it hanging behind the bathroom door- I called them the same day when I realized I left it behind, totally expecting them to have it.  I got the run around about how the Lost and Found were gone for the day etc.  I proceeded to call numerous times after that and spoke with the manager, Sam Kumar, who told me that the housekeeping did not see it or they might have thrown it away.  They obviously took it for themselves.  There was no recourse.  I was given the email address of the regional manager and never received a response from him.

Lesson learned: pay more, stay somewhere reputable that actually cares about their guests and returns their items to them.  This place is SHADY and not worth a penny for the stay!

$100 & convenient. But kind of shabby and gross. They are only recently a nonsmoking hotel, but our room reeked. The A/C screamed like siren. The sink didnt drain. Some of the lights didnt work. But you can tell they're trying.

I wish I had checked on Yelp before using this hotel for my sister's wedding. we held a block of rooms and also I had agreed beforehand with the manager, Santiago, that the bride would have a suite. The prices were settled and several rooms were reserved there. Unfortunately, I was not able to get to the hotel the day before the wedding, but on the wedding day, I entered a REGULAR room for the bride which was supposed to be a suite.

Now if any of you have ever been in a wedding before, imagine the bride, 5 bridesmaids, the hairstylist,  photographers and hundreds of other random women going in and out of a regular-sized hotel room. Of course on the day of the wedding, it is too late to do anything about it. But after it was all said and done, I e-mailed Santiago 3 times trying to find out where the mix up happened. No response from him, and this was after several e-mails had been exchanged between us about being double charged for the room after a credit card mix up.

On top of the room mix up, several of the guests for the wedding commented on the rude staff at night. I only met one of the front desk staff on Saturday morning who was much less than helpful when we asked her to look into the credit card situation, so I can not comment about the overall customer service.

I would never recommend this hotel to any one unless there is a half off deal on yelp.

Looks OK from the street, but wait until you get inside.
Old and dilapidated rooms that look like someone threw together half hearted repairs. I felt dirty just after walking in. I probably should have left but it was late.
Other issues: The desk clerk acted like I was interrupting their phone conversation on check in and had NO customer service skills.
The next morning, I tied the breakfast but that was a sad greasy mess. When I went to check out, Manager Santiago could not care less about my problems with his hotel.
I advise you, upon reviewing this hotel to stay away, far far away.

Place is decent unless ur in a room next to the remodel, or if u want the free dinner.... Out of food everyday well before dinner ends. workers eat it all and will just ignore people waiting in line. Guests here are just not a priority. Gets one star cause they can usually remember to replace my towels once a week.

Affordable, old school interior, good service fair pricing and right by the  freeway! The atmosphere is much like the Arena Inn on Santa Clara Street/The Alameda except the  Arena has three sushi bars you can walk to in minutes.....This place is an old feel in and around Valley Fair shopping area.

I was booking for a room on hotwire, and I ended up with this place.  The only good thing about this place is them serving dinner and breakfast.  My bedroom was facing stevens creek boulevard, and it was noisy as hell.  NO SOUND-PROOF WINDOWS!!!  The bathroom light makes a very noisy sound once the switch is turned on.  The hallways has a stench to it, I guess it's because the place is pretty old.  Won't ever come back here.

Nice place but a little too close to the freeway and on the bad side of the freeway.

The good side is closer to Valley Fair Mall.

What we didn't really like too much is that this was a pretty obvious choice of places to stay for Hookers in the area.  They weren't a problem, but the men coming and going and the catty hooker conversations in the hallways were a bit much.

Then again, they were somewhat amusing.

I'm giving it three stars out of five, but not for the rooms. The room was noisy, the bed was creaky... but on the brightside, the breakfast omelettes were great! They were delicious, which probably was the reason why it was so crowded, but when I got to the front of the line the lady (I believe her name was Veronica) greeted us with a smile and was so helpful!

This place is old, dirty and had an awful smell in the hall. Our TV did not work, had to be fixed, the bathtub drain did not work. We called and told them we were leaving and we wanted a refund. They did give us a refund with no argument. I would not recommend this place. We went a little further and fund a Motel 6 that was cheaper and so much better.

I've stayed here a few times with nothing but memorable moments. This last time we stayed was on the 3rd floor, king size bed, and kitchenette. Asked for late check out next morning with no problems. We did take advantage of the jacuzzi tub, and the free breakfast the next morning... good food. Looks from the outside can be quite deceiving... very nice hotel!

I love this hotel. It was nice, clean, free actual breakfast. Jacuzzi in the room was my favorite. Close to a lot of places. The only thing that upset me was, we asked for room service which they did but when we came back they didn't close the door all the way. It was left cracked open. We were lucky none of our stuff were stolen. And I also feel this place is haunted. But over all I loved the hotel! Great price if you book through booking.com

This hotel was a unique experience to say the least!!  We checked in, went up to our room which was clean but the toilet was clogged.  I picked up the phone to call the front desk and the phone was not functional by using the "0".  I dialed the main hotel number and the phone just rang and rang. I called again from my cell and the phone was answered on the second ring!  The receptionist seemed surprised that I was calling her.  I explained the problem and I was informed that "we don't have maintenance right now".  I didn't speak because I wasn't sure what to say.  She then followed with "I will be right up".  She came to the door with a plunger in her hand, handed me the plunger then scurried back downstairs stating "I'm the only one here".  Strange to say the least!!  Beds were comfy, free wifi, odd configuration of furniture in the room, felt cluttered!  Two stars for strange service!

we were charged 149.00 on a weekday. the rooms seemed clean at first but it was freezing and the cars passing were very loud, the dinner was tacos and ground meat.
the Latino workers were there at the beginning of both meals, snickering at us. If you are used to Vegas suites you will have a bad time. one entrance and exit, rooms on second floor.apparently there was a shooting nearby the morning we awoke.

The rooms are big with 2 king size bed, very comfortable environment with free breakfast and dinner. I like their breakfast a lot because the scramble egg there is really nice. They have wide range of breakfast like yogurt, cereal, fruit juice , and oven for DIY waffle , there is also toaster for bread and fruits.

The hotel is nice and big, we had a pleasant night, but they rush people out exactly a 11 am.  The room service woman walk in without knocking twice and after I place the do not disturb sign.  what I hated about this hotel is their dishonest Staff and the lack of concern.  With being rushed out of the room I left a white gold necklace with a heart pendant my husband gave me that night, I called numerous times and left a email with management and no one ever got to me.  I am very sure that the cleaning lady keep the item, basically stealing and refuse to turn it in.  No one gave a damn about the situation or tried to help me.  So please I don't care how fast they rush you make sure you take all your valuable because the staff sure likes likes to keep souvenir for the self.  jerks.... never staying here again nor would I refer them.  F...U

I have to hand it to these people, class class and great customer service.
Right off Stevens creek a couple blocks from Santana Row, even with the "interesting"neighborhoods of this old San Jose Area, this place is a class act. Great decor, really a jewel hidden by the freeway. You would drive by and never imaging it was a great place, might think it was an apartment at first, nope. Great breakfast and dinner INCLUDED. Rates were great.. Jacuzzi tubs in the rooms.. yeayyyyyyy.. Didn't pay over $ 100 a night... other places are 1 1/2 to double easily..  I know.. I checked...  A MUST...

We stayed 5 nights here while our hard wood floors were being remodeled. They are not cheap and for the rate they charge I was expecting the rooms to be nicer. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. But our stay here was a NIGHTMARE!!

Night one and two went by okay with no problems. The third night a water pipe burst on the floor above us and the water from the leaking was coming through the ceiling and dripping down through the hallway. There was no hot water for guest for hours!! The food is awful and made our stomachs hurt. The rooms must have at one time been smoking rooms because they smelt like stay smoke as soon as you walk in.

Dogs are not allowed but our room was above the carport and another guest must have had a dog in the car because we could hear it barking all night. When checking out we asked for a partial refund due to no hot water, bad food, annoying dog and general dissatisfaction! For the amount we paid to stay 5 nights and have no sleep and no hot water. They said they would give us %10 discount on our next stay.??

What do mean next stay? WE WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL!!
I suggest you stay away and save yourself the trouble of moving rooms.

I would give MINUS STARS if I could. You will waste countless amounts of energy waiting for this place to do something right. Worst hotel experience E-V-E-R!

What a complete POS hotel. No light fixture over the sink, 3ft tall wall to get in/out of shower, AC blows hot air Miserable, miserable, miserable experience.

This place needs to be demolished.

View the video and see the TV remote control NOT work.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and overall it was a nice pleasant stay.

The pros:

-large jacuzzi in room
-free full breakfast and dinner (no dinner on holidays)
-reasonable through booking.com $180 for 2 nights over a holiday.
-mini kitchen
-convenient location

The cons:
-wifi is good on phones, but spotty on computers
-no signal to watch any tv
-hotel is older and our room was mostly renovated with the exception of the outdated mini kitchen with cabinets falling apart.
-fan is noisy in bathroom and the light to turn off and on and jets for jaccuzi were on the outside of the bathroom which was annoying.

Overall we had a carefree experience, but I wouldn't pay the full price of $119 per night. For $180 plus tax for 2 nights, it was worth it and this will be our go-to spot if we ever need to stay in a hotel again in the bay area.

Honestly this place has some bad reviews but I didn't think it was that bad at all. The outside and hallways of this hotel are kinda old but the rooms were modern enough. Clean with a large bathroom and jacuzzi. Each room has a mini fridge. The heater/AC was kind of old but it worked fine. Our room had a large TV with good cable reception. The wifi worked fine and was fast enough to stream Netflix.

They have breakfast in the morning and a dinner buffet at night. The breakfast is made to order with eggs, meat, and even omelette options. I didn't get dinner but it sounds like a good idea if you're traveling on a budget. There's a covered parking lot and close access to the freeway (85). Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would stay here again if the price was right.

It was ok, not amazing, just ok. You get a nice bed to sleep on, the rooms are pretty spacious with your own stove, microwave, and Jacuzzi tub. It just lacked on the details... lots of dings, dents, and small holes everywhere...carpet looked pretty worn.

On the plus side, they do have a good breakfast.
