This place was a nightmare. The front desk was rude as hell. The room wasn't clean. I had to park on the street because the parking lot is sooo small and they have parksleepfly.com packages so whatever spots that are available are used up by people who park their cars there for weeks at a time. This leaves you having to park on the street in a not very good neighborhood. I will NOT be back to this dump.

Very, very clean and comfortable. Good location and close to airport. Used this as a quick stop before a long drive.  Free wi-fi and breakfast. One issue: no hi-def tv's in room!  Direct tv but no hi def tv's seems like a waste of some comfy downtime.

An affordable spot for San Jose, room was clean, check in/out was painless. This hotel is a good spot to go branch off to various touristy things such as the Great Mall, if you're into shopping. Nevertheless, it's peaceful and quiet. One thing that may get some visitors is the small parking lot - where guest's cars spill onto the side streets as well. However, the parking lot is well lit along with the streets - for those who are safety conscious. All in all, a good spot for a few days while visiting the area.

The hotel is great, clean, etc. bur their WiFi is completely useless.  It will not hold a signal, kicks you out every 30 seconds.  This is the second time I stay here and can't get any work done.

The hotel itself is great with clean rooms and comfortable bed. The service is pretty bad. The breakfast was also not that great. The coffee and waffle batter was empty. The only other complaint is they only give you two bath towels and 4 tiny pillows. It's a decent place to stay.

Our family stayed here in twice in the past year to attend an event at Lake Cunningham Regional Skatepark in San Jose. After a day outside, it's great to come relax in a large room with a jacuzzi and king-sized bed in the room.

The room and facility are tidy and neat. The mini fridge kept our things cold. On both stays we found the staff cordial and pleasant. The breakfast is pretty minimal in terms of selection, but nothing to cry about, IMO. It serves its purpose and gets you fueled up.

Harris Way, where the hotel is, is a dinky street. If you're coming in from 680 on the Montague Expressway, you can access the hotel without having to go past the facility to 880 and turn around. If you turn left on Oakland Road and then right into the second driveway and go through that business's parking lot, it takes you to Harris. The hotel is on the right. Much less grief this way.

Overall, a good place to stay at a reasonable price.

I love this hotel! Every time I come to San Jose I come here and get the same room lol its the jacuzzi in the room! There is only 2 in the whole hotel so you have to book it in advance but its defiantly worth it! I love it and you cant beat 100 dollars a night. I like that I can use my AAA card for a discount! Very nice.

Hotel was comfortable - helpful staff - overall excellent cleanliness.   The room was  good, quiet, clean - the sink area is outside the bathroom, this made the sink/mirror area small but functional.  Shower was good, beds weren't bad at all.  However, bring your own pillow.   The hotel pillows are about the size of couch throw pillows .

The only bad I found was that the smoking rooms are on the 1st floor.   I had a non smoking room in the 2nd floor - went to dinner, came back and my bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke :(. This tells me cross ventilation filtering isn't too good.

I turned on the bathroom ceiling fan/vent and kept it on all night (made for good white noise) and the smell went away within 5-10 mins.  And stayed away.

If you can deal with those small issues - the hotel is great Id recommend it to anyone.  Enjoy your stay!   :)

Duc and I came up to the San Jose area for his birthday weekend and wanted to snag a fairly good deal on accommodations so we could spend more of it on food, bahahah. We came across Quality Inn after searching online and were able to get a decent rate. They provide free shuttles to and from the airport and were even kind enough to shuttle him back to the airport to pick up our rental car the morning after we arrived (we came in late and the rental place was closed!). Check in was quick and easy with plenty of information provided. The front desk has a basket of fresh fruit every day that you can grab a snack from too.

The room ended up being smaller than we had thought it would be from the pictures but it didn't make too much of a difference. We were disappointed that we got a room that was connected to another by a door because inevitably, we could hear each other through the crevices. However, the place was mainly just somewhere to sleep as we were out all day. The room had a microwave and large mini-fridge which were convenient. Everything was clean, and in the mornings, there was breakfast provided which also had sausage and a wafflemaker! It wasn't just a cheapy continental. We enjoyed our stay considering its central location. We even managed to get on the wi-fi easily and were able to stream videos off of it (strong enough connection). I'll keep it in mind for our next visit to the area.

Clean room, good service and breakfast. A bit noisy on the Montague side, and rates change for weekdays. Reasonable rate on weekend, but overpriced for weekday.

Pros: For a bit more than the typical budget hotel, Quality Inn is exceptionally higher on the scale in terms of value. The room was spotless, carpet was clean, bed was comfy, furniture was handsome, curtains had a white liner, mini fridge and micro looked new, Bible in nightstand, nice lobby & breakfast area downstairs, and the hallways and elevator were nice. Friendly staff, convenient parking, convenient to 880, large flatscreen TV, they offer many items if you forgot something such as toothpaste, big fruit bowl in lobby, and they left my room alone when I put the do not disturb sign out (this is a big plus for me; other places actually go in despite the sign as if it doesn't apply to the maids, but I hate anyone touching my stuff). The neighborhood seemed safe.

Cons: the room was a bit small and would get warm easily and the air didn't seem to work right but the window was able to be opened. The toilet paper and tissue was on the rough side. My room had an adjoining room door which made my neighbors easier to hear. It wasn't horrible but my second night was better with that other room now vacant. The traffic on Montague is a bit noisy but not horrible. Not really much bad to say, but I wish they had one in the south san jose area. Still for the value and nice accommodations I would use this hotel again. A nice place at a good price is hard to find

Arrived late with one plan in mind... Watch the movies we just rented, but there was no DVD player or any means of movie options! Only basic cable. My bad.. No false advertisement there (I just assumed they'd have one).
We had a good night sleep, but I gotta say; the pillows were so small. ..The next morning we woke up and there were bugs in the bathroom!

For the 'deal' we got, I don't really think this was worth the money.

Stayed here for Wrestlemania weekend, and it was pretty nice. Great breakfast, great customer service. The only issue i had with this hotel is the noise and the banging in the hallway and  rooms next to us.
