This hotel had made a total 180! Before this place was known for hoes and drug dealers, but now it has cleaned up it's act! My co-worker owns this hotel and I must say it is very nice! The staff is very helpful and it is very clean in the office. The rooms are very roomy and have double beds with nice clean sheets and very clean bathrooms. The hotel is in prime location to everything including the arena in case you ever need a room for a concert or a game!
I suggest you check out this place, you will not be disappointed!

I was supposed to spend two nights in this horrible Travelodge last October. First the key didn't work. I reported it to the gentleman at the front office, and he literally had to throw his shoulder into the door to open it. He explained that the room had not been used for awhile, and I believe him because I had to leave the front door and a back window open just so the stale smell could escape. The carpet was heavily soiled with spots that were actually caked on as if someone brought liguid glue into the room and spilled it everywhere. There was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom, and I found ashes from burned up incense in the bathroom sink. There were no towels in the bathroom. After I contacted the guy at the front office again a housekeeper who spoke no English brought me four towels of differing colors ranging from a grayish-white to beige. One towel had multiple spots on it that looked like blood that didn't wash out.
I couldn't stand it, and I checked out earlier. The guy at the front office was nice about it though; he only charged me thirty-something bucks for a partial stay that was later reversed after I contacted the TripRewards administrators.

This ain't the Hilton. But it is a cheap (79.00 a night) place to rest your head if you're in town for an HP pavilion show. Only 5 blocks away from the SJ caltrain station, too! Sometimes all you need is function & the travelodge fits the bill. Each room comes with a mini fridge to stock beers for the inevitable "pre-show party". Don't bother with the free coffee the next morning when you check out.
