This place gets only one star for the simple fact that they have a ridiculously dense woman checking people in.  Seriously-it is so far beyond annoying that it's all I can say about this dumpy freaking place! That and they lied about having a pool table (oh sure, they have one.  But all the cues are broken :))  And they led me to believe I had paid in full for my stay at this joint but when I arrived they asked for my credit card for a $200 deposit....dense lady ignored my protests that I had in fact payed a deposit 30 days ago and proceeded to assured me that someone who actually knew what they were doing "might show up" later that day.

We rented the Tamarak cabin with friends here which was awesome. The cabin lives up to the nice pictures on their web site. Cool game room. Steam shower was awesome. Nice views. Quiet. The Inn staff and their dog are very friendly. Great value and convenient location. It's a 5-min shuttle ride to Heavenly and less than a mile drive to nearby casinos and restaurants.

Place was VERY cozy.  If your skiing at Heavenly it's a great location. The lady who checked us in was VERY helpful and extremely accommodating.  If you're looking for an INTIMATE place, this is it.  The hydro-therapy massage thingy was awesome and the private jaccuzzi was nice.

ONLY con: It is a little pricy.
