Clean and probably the best value for your money in town.

a room here is uber cheap, but about as bare bones as you can get. nonetheless, it was very clean and the heater worked. it's only about 40 min from kirkwood.

Paid like $60 for four of us to share 2 double beds while skiing/riding at Heavenly last weekend.  The shower pressure was like 100 times what it is in my SF apartment, and it was hot right away.  For some reason we couldn't find a happy medium with the heater--it was either too hot or too cold--but that could have just been our own issue.  I'd definitely stay here again for another South Lake ski trip--what a deal!  Just 3 miles or so from Heavenly.

While at this motel the power went off for several hours. During this time my wife and I were prevented from having any use of the room. When I went to the office to seek information the manager said that corporate office had approved full refunds upon check out. Upon checking out the manager was no where around aand there was just one employee issuing refunds. She said the manager told her to just give a $20.00 discount. So while I paid $82.19 for the room on a Sat night, and was unable to use the room for several hours until the power returned, all they issued was a $20.00 refund even though the manager said that corporate office had approved full refunds. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS MOTEL AGAIN. This is wrong! I filed a complaint for a full refund as I was promised.

Good place to stay if you are on a budget. Pet friendly, but you are not supposed to leave your dogs unattended in the room - especially if they bark. We really liked the shower and tub - the water pressure is  great. The place was clean, conveniently located. Only downsides are the room was small, the towels were tiny and the pillows were tiny and flat, and when we asked for more they didn't have any.

What the others said.  We paid $60/night.  Clean bed & bathroom.  Enough room to throw all your gear in there, which everybody must do since there was a lingering sweaty funk that you got used to after a minute.  Great water pressure.

The heater was broken the first night, and they fixed it for the second night so bonus points for responsive maintenance, minus one gold star for having it broken in the first place.

My go-to spot when I'm staying overnight in South Lake. The other motels near the main drag in South Lake tend to be pretty dirty and run-down compared to the Six, although I'm still not tempted to do a black light test. It's fairly cheap, ostensibly clean and pretty reliable to book in a pinch. The Carrows next door makes for a decent fuel station (i.e. hash browns/eggs/pancakes) on the way up to the slopes.

Great place for the price. Book on-line for an even better rate. Clean rooms, quiet, easy free parking, friendly check-in and staff. Seemed recently redone rooms including new plumbing fixtures and heater/AC. Definitely helps make a week skiing affordable to get good use of my Heavenly season pass.. Previous review suggested bringing your own towel and that was a great tip as the ones provided are a bit small. I brought my own small coffee maker although they comp coffee in the lobby in the morning. No hair dryer, ironing board, fridge, clock radio, or pen...bring your own if you need that stuff. I've stayed several times and will again.

I never thought I would find myself yelping a Motel 6, but I just have to for this one.  The clerk was a gem, our total tour guide.  She is from Los Angeles originally, and has been living in the South Lake Tahoe area for the past 19 years.  She had so many cool places to tell us to see, the Emerald bay, and local hangouts.  The motel was very clean and cheap.  End of November, for 30 bucks a night!  And you truly can't beat the location.  Our motto when traveling, is that we only need a place to sleep since we're out for most of the day so as long as its clean and cozy we're good.
The staff here are just great.  Aside from the friendly and oh-so-helpful clerk at the desk, their cleaning staff was on it.  We brought along an arsenal of cameras, tripods, and such.  After our two-night stay, we received a phone call from one of their cleaning ladies, the day we left  after about two hours traveling south.  She informed us that we left one of our cameras, the now hard to find Polaroid camera with extra film in our room.  She packaged it up and had it shipped to our home.  So wonderful!  These kats deserve your business, best motel 6 I've ever stayed at!

Went there for skiing. It is a bit of a drive off of ski run around lot of other places.
The staff are nice and we quickly checked in at 11pm. They have key cards.
The place looks and feels new, there are not enough parking spots, esp when everything is covered in snow. We just had a 3 foot storm and the place is down under.
The room was big enough - two nice beds with a spacious tub/shower and a sink in the main room. Well lit. Extra outlet for boot warmer/laptop.
    Still no Wifi.

    Location, location, location -

    Near Heavenly Ski Resort
    Near restaurants
    Near ski/board rental shops
    On the main road
    $80.00/night

I found the room at this motel 6 very basic and clean.  There was a television, air-conditioning/heater unit (a little noisy & difficult to manage temp control) and an adequately lit bathroom and vanity/sink unit.

The only complaint here is the adjoining rooms and the noise level from neighbors.

Be warned - catwalk type of set up.

Dog friendly and just under $100 for a Saturday and Sunday night stay? Yup, I'm a fan and will be back.

The downsides were that this Motel 6 seemed to be noisier for both room noise (plumbing) and street noise (I was on the street side but perpendicular to the street).

They were sold out of WIFI rooms but they got me close enough that I got enough a signal to do email. FWIW, the construction seems to kill cell service, at least Sprint's. 5 bars if held up to the window, possibly one bar if more than a foot away from the window.

Friendly front desk with knowledge of the area.

I'll be back if in South Lake Tahoe.

This is the first place of many on my New Years in Tahoe trip. Comfy rooms and large enough to store three people and their snowboarding gear. Easy to find and near tons of places to eat...and close to Heavenly. Cheap (only 33 dollars per person for 2 days)!  What more can a girl ask for? I will be going back here for sure

So this is my second stay here.. The last time was a few years ago..this will probably be the last time I stay here..
The room is super tiny (I called it a shoebox).. The beds are also tiny and uncomfortable..
The towels are tiny too.. Do you see a theme?
They should rename this place to Tiny 6.
The room is not to my clean standards, but not to terrible.
I guess it's a good place for people not wanting much, and want to pay less than near Stateline..
The location is not desirable for casinos and nightlife..

Stayed here a few times when visiting and then looking for a house in Tahoe. The rooms are inexpensive, but as with most Motel 6's they aren't the roomiest ever. However, it was fairly clean and the staff is fairly responsive. Fairly central location along the Hwy 50 corridor in "Downtown" South Lake Tahoe. I like the Motel 6 chain since they are dog friendly, and it can be a pain in the ass to get dog sitters. :)

I agree with the reviewer about the non-slip serrated stairs. Can be tough on dogs, and could cause a skittish dog to become nervous since they can see through to the floor below.

For those who've complained about not having enough towels, that is what the front desk is for. You ask them and they give you more towels. I wish they had fridges/microwaves in the rooms, at least the ones I've gotten didn't have them.

Continental breakfast, is well...continental breakfast. You can simulate this at home by buying some danishes from Costco and making some watered down coffee.

There used to be a Carrows (disgusting food) next door which the motel gave a discount for, but it's since changed into an okay chinese buffet called Dragon Buffet.

I'm a skier who spends a lot of time in Tahoe, as well as in its hotels. Unfortunately, this hotel was the cheapest I could find, and at $120 bucks a night, I felt I paid WAY too much for the stay. I arrived at about 2:30 pm. I was told my room was ready, although this was not the case. I had to wait about 20 minutes outside the room with my luggage for the slow-moving housekeeper to finish his work. When I finally did gain access to the room, I noticed that the cleanliness of the sheets and towels was questionable. The blanket and comforter on the bed were straight up ancient and nasty. I brought my own sleeping bag from my car to avoid dealing with them. The toilet rarely flushed, and I kept it going myself with hot water. For 120 bucks, one would think that they could kick back and relax a little. Yet, I found myself using my camping skills to fix the screw ups of the hotel. The shower was nasty-- the floor was dirty and curtain was stained. Not to mention, there were no basic amenities (kleenex, little bottles of shampoo, the usual).
On top of all of this, wi-fi was only available if you paid 3 bucks a day for it, and there was no hottub.
Why is it that my favorite hotel on the North Shore can charge the same amount and actually do a good job of managing a hotel? This hotel is a joke. Next time, I may actually camp in the snow to use my girl scout skills in an environment where they are meant to come in handy. Not in a $120 hotel room.

A great cheap place to stay in town if you want to ski in South Lake Tahoe.  It's only $40/night during the week and $60/night for the weekend - slightly more if you have more people ($5-10/night) but each room can sleep 4 if you request 2 beds (though with all snow gear and equipment it will be quite snug).  Pretty good deal if you ask me.

The rooms have basic amenities, including heaters which are perfect for drying wet gear.

My only complaint is that the walls are thin and the doors connecting the rooms are even thinner, so you will be well acquainted with your neighbors.

I hated this particular hotel, the staff were rude , condescending, unhelpful, and very passive aggressive!  I booked this reservation on line but had questions, so I called and asked. I had a very pleasant conversation with the representative explaining that I was getting married and we took a bit to discuss the choices of rooms and that I would have my "kids" with me (my two small dogs).  I explained we were taking a hot air balloon ride to get married and the representative congratulated me and told me it sounded very exciting and beautiful.  I received the email confirmation and thought all was fine. When I arrived at the place, the staff were just plain stupid! The guy wanted to charge me the incorrect rate, then he made sure he told me that I couldn't leave the dogs alone in the room - are you kidding me?  I explained that I was getting married and how was I going to take them on the balloon ride? He got me so upset telling me that if they were left alone,  I could be asked to leave the premises, and the rules are written and he did not care what someone told me on the phone, they are not at this location, he was!  I demanded to speak with someone else and got another  stupid, sarcastic, rude staff person, that reiterated that the rules are pretty clear and slammed a brochure on the counter with the information about  not leaving dogs alone listed and since you didn't call us, they can't help me. I was there to get married and was so very happy to have my "fur-kids" with me and nervous about so many things and here I was hearing that if I left them in the room, I could be asked to leave the hotel!  Where was I going to go?  What was I going to do?  They offered a daycare service - throwing the card on the counter and said I could call them to see if they could watch them for me.  I was not prepared for an additional expense of daycare given that was why I chose this hotel, since it allowed me to bring them with me!

When I went out to the truck, my Fiancee saw me crying and was so very mad and went into talk with them.

We stayed (we had no choice, we were getting married the next day at 5am)!

Turns out the weather was bad and the balloon was grounded and it was postponed to the next day.  That meant that we would need to run back after the wedding in order to check out in time.  We had planned on three days, the arrival, the wedding the next day and then stay that night and then leave the following morning.

We contacted the front desk and explained the situation, and of course they were very sarcastically apologetic, but the entire hotel was booked and they would not be able to offer us to stay one more day so we wouldn't have to rush back and check out - but if anything opened up, they promised to contact us.

We never heard from them at all.... The wedding was wonderful even despite their complete unprofessional and rude behavior, and this motel chain has lost my patronage and any of my friends as well.

The place is dirt cheap, and that's what you get. Although there was one "plus", there was also a big minus.

There was a cockroach crawling out of the A/C.  This is the biggest "no no" of any motel/hotel: pests!  Particularly roaches!  I captured it under a glass and took it to the office and showed the lady at the desk. They didn't seem to think too much about it.

The carpets are filthy, and the shower/tub had black mold stain (or maybe just black mold) on the caulking. That's also a big "no no" that is sooo easy to fix, why in the world they don't take care of something like black mold in the tub is just beyond my understanding.

Also, no matter how much you run the A/C, within 30 minutes of turning it off, the place is baking hot again because of the compressor on the mini fridge is shedding all its' heat right into the room, with nowhere to escape, unless you want to leave the window open all night, or let your food rot.

On the plus side, our room had foam mattress beds instead of metal spring mattresses.  Spring mattresses at most places totally suck and hurt my back nearly every place I've been to.  But the foam mattress was a nice change.

Although I'd like to say "lesson learned", the problem is, you sometimes do find pretty decent places for cheap, so I don't want to give up on cheap hotel hunting. But you definitely want to consider if it would be worth it to spend an extra $20-30 a night somewhere else.

I would not go back here again.

Have to caveat this review by saying that the overall the cleanliness of the room was fine (spacious enough and good water pressure in the shower), however, it was just my overall experience that gets two stars.  Read on.

During the second trip up to Tahoe using our season pass we opted for the more economical Motel 6 instead of paying the premium $300+ that Harvey's wanted per night.  After making it back from the slopes we checked in (what seemed to be a somewhat lengthy process).  When we made it to our supposed non-smoking room, it was clearly not non-smoking.  We exchanged rooms for a different one.  We finally made it to our room about 30-40 minutes later.

For reasons of security, I'll just explain that we received an inappropriate call later at night. a rather spooky one at that.  In summary, we will think twice about staying at another motel, but most likely will not be staying here again.

Nice clean room. As many have mentioned nothing special. Was perfect for a quick trip and a cheap nights rest. That being said the bed was uncomfortable so did not rest too well.

Room had microwave and refrigerator for $3 extra. Asked for Internet access, another $3 extra.

Seemed well maintained, nice shower (not one of the wimpy shower heads) was high enough for a taller person. No shampoo or anything so bring your own :)

We were just "passing through" on the way to Carson City and needed a clean, cheap place to stay.  This one fit the ticket.  The clerk was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and steered us to Steamers  Bar and Grill down the road for an under $10 dinner and great beer!  She was wrong about the Internet card though--they are only good at the location you  buy them at.  I got the wrong info from the gal at the Motel 6 in West Sacramento also.

I recommend this place for those on a budget looking for a no frills but nice motel.

You can "rent" a microwavefrig for $3 a night if needed---not bad I thought.

We stayed here two years ago around Christmas when the rest of South Lake was sold out.

The rooms are tiny, but descent based on the price.
I wish the heater worked a little better and the bathroom towels were a little larger.
Other than that no complaints really.
A restaurant that is open late and really good food.
A huge plus, they have a spa connected too.
I went had a massage, the best 90 minutes ever spent in South Lake.
The major draw back, its really far from state line.
This is bad because there are not a lot of cabs running after 2 on either side of the state line. So if you cannot get a cab you might be stuck walking, this happened to us. Not fun in the snow.
This is why I prefer to stay closer to the casinos because its only a 5 minute walk if no cabbies feel like stopping.

This place served its purpose as beingtoye lowest-priced place to sleep for the night during a weekend trip up here. The office staff is courteous and friendly. The drawback is the traffic noise from adjacent Highway 50, but maybe other lodgings down the street suffer from the same problem. They offer discount at the next-door Dragon Buffet at Denny's about a mile north while you're a guest here.

I might have given it a higher rating except for poor housekeeping of my room before arrival. There were pieces of hair on the bathtub edge that obviously the cleaning staff missed, which was not a good thing.

Great cheap place to stay. It was the long weekend and other places were fully booked and required 2 nights minimum stay. There were just enough towels for two ppl per room. So if the person sharing the room with you uses the 2nd towel as a shower rug .. you're screwed.
Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
It was a snow storm wkend, but the parking lot was clean and shoveled. There were no slippery side walked or stairs.
There's a Carrow's next door and you get 10% discount on your meals.

We got a smoker's room, which is the noisiest building in the group.  My husband (the smoker) was asleep, and I was just drifting off when I heard a loud bang and then water running.  I thought it was a shower next door or overhead.  It didn't stop, so I went to the bathroom and discovered it was flooded!  I woke my husband and called the office.  We were told to come to the office and they could find us another room.  I told them this room was flooding fast and he needed to send someone to see what is going on.  We got no assistance with our move...had to save our possessions, get dressed, get to the office (I think it was midnight) and have them find a new room for us.  We were offered the same building, but I said "No way!"  We got another room and finally got to sleep.  No one apologized, no one offered a voucher or an amenity of any kind. I felt they thought it was our fault a pipe blew (or whatever happened...we weren't told)  I was real glad to get out of there and get home.  Oh, I ruined a pair of shoes trying to salvage our possessions in the bathroom.  Spend the extra money and get a room where it's safe and clean.

If you don't have ritzy standards, then this Motel 6 is a solid option for an affordable stay in South Tahoe. I have to admit that I've always been wary of motels, but my dad loves Motel 6 so our family stayed here during a short trip in Tahoe. It was clean, quiet, and management was both helpful and understanding. Oh btw it's dog-friendly which is a big plus. Again, this place is just the basics...actually less than that because they only provided soap and no shampoo/conditioner...we didn't bother asking for any so they might have some at the office.

I know--4 stars for motel 6... But we Have stayed at motel 6 in other cities/ states (have cats will travel!) and this was one of the cleanest and best furnished. Extremely clean, refrigerator AND freezer worked perfectly as did the microwave. Clean bathroom--nice tub! Fantastic water pressure. Very comfortable beds. Staff was very friendly, thorough and efficient.  Very accommodating and met all our lodging needs. Really appreciated it since our stay was for 4 nites. TIPS -- we travel with our own linens if its for more than one night. We're particular about our sheets and towels :-) and after all its still economy lodging.  Great value for your $ though.

Shower is absolutely useless... While the faucet shoots water out like a stream, the shower head output is pretty much by the drips... I ended up squatting in the tub just to use the faucet instead of the shower head. It's actually faster to "shower" this way than using the shower head, which is really sad...

For some reason, I'd blocked Motel 6 from my list of hotels that I consider when I travel. While there are a few issues, my boycott of this chain has lifted.

My boyfriend and I visited S. Lake Tahoe every summer and we've always found it a little hard to find hotel rooms under $130/night that allow dogs. Motel 6 allows dogs and they don't even charge extra.  The only downside is that the wireless broadband access (available for $2.99/day with a code from the check-in counter) was very slow. Even at 4am it was crawling. This is problem if you're researching trails in the area and needing to view various maps.

What's amazing, as several people have pointed out, is the water pressure. It feels like you're showering under Horsetail Falls!

Ok, so I have a few niggling complaints:

    1. There are no microwaves
    2. There are refrigerators in the rooms.
    3. The Internet access is slow. While I had full signal strength on their 802.11n network, the speed tests (takin on 09/09/2011 at 9am) shows 1/2 Mbit down X 1/3rd Mbit up: speedtest.net/result/147…

I'm recommending Motel 6 switch to DSLWest.com for service. There are condo's in the keys right next door to use here that have DSLWest  which provides much much faster speeds.

Nonetheless, if you're on a budget and you travel with dog, it's hard to beat this motel.

As a frequent road-tripper with a dog, I've stayed in a lot of Motel 6's, and this is the best of them in my opinion. On my most recent visit, the room was brand new and very clean. There's also an excellent trail behind the parking lot that you can follow down a river to the lake (over a mile, but nice walk and great walk for dogs). As far as Motel 6's go, this is a 5 star. But I'm giving it 4 stars just because it's Motel 6... Not that I don't like the chain, but because the people it sometimes attracts (a loud/rude guest next door can ruin any hotel stay). But I've been very lucky here - no bad experiences so far.

Scary looking men staying in this hotel, parking is not alway close to your room because of wheelchair access. Which means you have to park a. Fair distance from your room and walk past creepy looking guys. No shampoo. I should have paid $20 more an gotten the better hotel. Really regretting staying here. this is a good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep and shower. we paid $65 for 2 double beds during memorial day weekend. the room was on the smaller side but doesn't really matter if you don't plan on staying inside the whole time. what i noticed most when we first walked into our room was the smell. it was a definite "old" kind of smell..nothing too horrible but it was distinct and we immediately had to open our windows to get fresh air in. i guess you can describe it as a cross between musty and used clothing store smell. shower pressure was great, toilet flushing sucked. we had to hold down the flusher for a good 5 seconds to make sure everything went through. and it was hella loud. you would definitely wake up to the toilet in the middle of the night if someone was using it. beds were good..not super comfy but good enough to get through the night. there were small holes in the blankets and sheets but who cares.

customer service was great; the lady at the front desk was genuine and friendly. pool was decent size, although we didn't go in. we did see a few families in there though.

you also have to pay extra for wifi.

i'd probably stay here again since it was the cheapest hotel on the strip and we weren't looking for something fancy.

Yes it's a Motel 6 but you can do WAY worse than this place.  My gf and I were actually pretty surprised and even impressed with the place (we had very low expectations going into it).  It was clean and seemed somewhat renovated.  It's probably about a 5 min drive to heavenly which isn't bad at all.

If your options are limited thanks to a busy weekend in South Lake, I would certainly recommend giving them a shot.

Non Smoking Room smelly so bad of smoke I was gaging and my clothes smelled like I was a heavy smoker. Shady people loitering around and Fighting. Wifi internet was 2.99 for a code that you had to get from the clerk in the lobby and did not work 1/2 the time. Across the street is Grocery Outlet store so delivery trucks arriving and departing all night and day. Staff and cleaners were very friendly and helpful. Small rooms and thin walls.

We are staying at motel 6. It is the worst service I have ever received! We paid 3 dollars extra on the room for wifi and that wifi doesn't work. I went to take a bath and the water came out yellow and awful smelling. A manager came and ran the water for a bit and it finally ran clean(or so I thought). The water was clear but five minutes Into the bath my skin started itching and burning. The sheets and pillows on the bed look like they haven't been washed and even though they have a pool you can't enjoy it with the children screaming and fighting running around the pool. The walls are so thin we can make out every sound from the room next to us and above us. I will never stay here again.

I've had better at other Motel 6's so this tells me the bad service and the inability of the staff to stay out of my room as asked is a local issue. Next time I'm in Tahoe we will not be staying here.

Well, I got reeled in by the low price. I called around to 4 different motels and this was by far the cheapest. I also read a lot of great reviews from previous patrons. Everything about the room seemed nice at first. TV, bathroom, no smoke, and it "seemed" clean.

Then it came to taking a shower. Wait, where's the shampoo and conditioner? Hmm I guess you have to ask for that, strange because every other hotel/motel always has at least a tiny bottle for your convenience. Ok, I can look last that because a short stroll to the office met me with friendly faces with complimentary toiletries.

Then came the time to sleep. Oh wait, what was that thing crawling around the bed with me? Oh that looks like a bed bug!! After closer inspection, more bed bugs!!! Idk about you, but I prefer to sleep in a bed without the company of critters.

Now this might be a fluke, but it is my experience. Low price gives it two stars, but if rather not sleep with bugs.

A cheap place to shower and sleep that allows pets for free. They even gave my pooch a little baggie of treats. The walking path behind the parking lot was lovely. Would have liked to explore it more but the snow was deep and it was 7 degrees out, my little pup was pulling me back to the room. Minus a star for the wifi, for 3 bucks I expect it to actually work. Signal kept dropping. Either fix it or make it free. Other than that, if you are looking for no frills and cheap, this is your place.

I read a lot of bad comment regarding this motel. I don't know how their experience was so bad but this place is amazing. After tax, a two night stay cost us around $148. I went to book online with the room cost at $63 per night but no fridge or microwave. I decided to call and the front desk gave us a room with appliances for just a few dollars more. Room had no hair dryer or towels but the front desk provided us with all we needed. Honestly the staff was fantastic. The room was a smoking room because I did not know I had to request a non smoking room. But the room was so clean that you would not be able to tell the difference. I even took a bath because the tub was so spotless. They allow dogs with no fee which is unheard of. They warned us that the room was going to be very small for our two dogs and though it's not the biggest hotel room, it easily accommodated our German shepherd and mutt. Good luck finding a more affordable joint! Will stay here again for sure. All around great place and have no complaints.

Motel 6 is not known for luxury, so I wasn't expecting much on my recent $80 stay. Still, there were a couple of things that were really disappointing!  I needed to stay at a hotel over a 2 day improptu road trip, where I would absolutely need a) a shower and b) internet service.

    1.  No shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles. Hey, I know it's a "steal" to stay at a Motel 6, but with everything else that the motel is lacking, they could have at least stashed these.

    2.  Internet is $2.99 unlike nearly every other hotel that includes it at no cost. 3 bucks, fine, I'll pay. Except you can't pay at your computer when you access the Motel 6 sign in page like all other hotels would offer when a cost is involved. Instead you have to walk your disgruntled ass to the front desk, pay in return for a prepaid card number, then go back up to your room and input that card number online to gain access.  What.A.Joke.

I did get a kick out of the bed covers though... a city scene with Motel 6 hotels printed across it.

Decent quality for the price, when every hotel in town was sold out we came here and still found a place to stay, clean, plenny parking lot, nice customer service!!!!

I've stayed here on a few different occasions.  A pretty mainstream Motel 6, and be advised that it's one of the boiler/5 pipe setups for central heating and a/c, which means that you can usually either get one or the other, but not both - something to consider in the off seasons where it might be hard to control the temperature of your room.  My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was due to the pricing - a bit high, even for Tahoe, and the fact that they didn't offer any major discounts for weekly stays.

I know not to expect too much from a motel 6,  but the room was nasty, had stains on the carpet, no towel, smelled a little funky.
I almost gave them an extra star just because they had night check-in, but quickly changed my mind because at the time when I called to make the reservation, the gentleman on the phone told me that because we were going to have such a late check-in (4 am) that all I would have to do is ask for a late check-out.  I finally got up to Tahoe at 4 in the morning, asked to have a late check-out time, and was denied because that has to be approved by a manager, and because a manager wont be in until the day-light, I would have to come back in the morning for approval.  ended up having to check out at noon.  The room ended up costing me $120 for a sub-par room that I could only use for 8 hours.

We stayed 3 days 2 nights.
Our room was a little small but just right.
We woke up Saturday morning to snow!!
We got dressed and spent the day in snow, riding heavenly gondolas and going hiking at Nevada beach.
Came back to the hotel and warmed up quick.
The heater was awesome.. It works very quick.
My fiance was bitten by a spider in his sleep.. Twice.
    He's fine now.. No biggy.
Staff was very friendly and even made coffee extra early for me :)
Fast check in and super fast check out. We were even able to check in before 11am no problem. Thank you motel 6!
    Most definitely coming back!
