The first reviewer pretty much nailed it.  Some other things to consider:  there is a resident upstairs that has frequent visits from his parole officer, and he is manic depressive, and he lives with his mom in a room barely meant for one person(think norman bates).  Management requires 1100 bucks regardless of when you move in, nothing is prorated, the wifi is weak and you can't get you own from Charter, cable is basic and goes in and out like you had satellite, there is one dumpster and it is always full. There is no kitchen area, few outlets, and the walls are thin on the sides.  Only plus is location and the taco stand downstairs.  Yes, this is my last night, ... yes!!

I went to look at this property on a Saturday about  a month ago. Converted motel (probably built in the 60's) now a monthly residence.   Current management (Pacific Shore Management out of San Diego) has put some money into renovations (carpets, paint) but only to make property rentable.  Their Craiglist ads call the rooms "suites" but thats nothing more then a marketing ploy.  They only provide a microwave and one mini-fridge.  The rooms are void of any furniture, beds, tv's etc.  They also charge a $550.00 security deposit on top of the $550 monthly rental.  The lease is month to month. The showers\bathrooms appeared dated and probably need to be replaced. I suspected mold could be a problem but didnt ask because of what the obvious answer would be.
The only positive thing about the property is the location.  One block from Heavenly Village and two blocks from Stateline.  They also do provide basic cable and wi-fi.  Current residents looked to be low-income or people on disability.
Cant really say this is a place to call "home" but would probably suffice if you are inbetween an actual place to live for a month or two.  I couldnt imagine living here long term.
I know the property has a bad reputation amongst the locals\police and present management appear to be good people trying to improve things however it just wasnt enough for me to pull the trigger and rent from them.  For only $100 more per month I was able to find an actual apartment to rent. I think Stateline Lodge is nothing more then a last resort.
