Stayed on night in July- beautiful views. Decent rooms, clean but not fancy. Good location with a short walk to town. The area also offers free shuttles so easy to get around. The staff was exceedingly helpful and they offered snacks and bottled water along with the breakfast which came in handy with little ones. Pool and hot tub nice. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park.  My husband and I stayed here during a roadtrip for our honeymoon.  The staff was super friendly, the location was convenient, and the rooms were adorable.

We stayed there 3 nights.
The room was big enough and clean, with small bathroom.
The service and welcoming were very good and very professional.
The pool is big and well maintained.
The breakfast is not really great... Let's say it is a complementary morning snack and coffee!
The location is awesome, 10 minutes drive from the park, 5 minutes from downtown and supermarkets...and a really nice view from the bedrooms!
A good value.

Staying at the Hotel Estes was a wonderful experience. Clean room (smelled of pine, real pine) kind staff, great location and affordable!
We stayed two nights and after arriving late (the office closes at 9) and locking ourselves out not 5 minutes after we got there, a staff member was kind enough to drive down and let us in right away. Shopping, restaurants, the lake and just about all other activities are walking distance. Year round hot tub was awesome. (And clean!)
OH! And of course, Hotel Estes is pet friendly. Bringing our little guy on our weekend out of the city was so nice.
I definitely recommend Hotel Estes to locals and travelers alike.

Nice hotel. Affordable and very clean. Staff is also very nice and helpful. They continue to do room upgrades. It snowed while we were here and maintenance had the lot plowed really quick and stayed on it all day.

Check in at the Lobby!  Very nice atmosphere!  Very friendly staff!

Room!  Very nice and clean!  Smelled like Pine!  The bed was very comfortable!

Close to Estes Park!

The pool area was very clean and well maintained!

The only problem was the parking lot!  Definatly needs to be re surfaced!

Very cute hotel that is quiet and peaceful with nice views of the mountains.  The rooms are big, but the bathrooms are small.  Each room has it's own look and personality.  The wifi wasn't great; it worked up at the front desk but was too weak for the rooms further away unless you went outside.  Hotel is pet friendly.

This is the second hotel we've stayed at Estes Park. We will be coming back.
Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast is a little sparce but adequate.
Pet friendly which is a plus.....reasonably priced as well.

Update:  Received an email from a front desk person stating that they are charging an additional $50 due to damage in the room.  There is a 0% chance that was from our one night stay that consisted of a late check-in and early departure...am disputing the charge with my cc company and will never stay here again...guess I was fooled...

My original post:

This was a super quiet, pleasant and clean place to stay.  The room was great.  The "free breakfast" was pretty sparse but otherwise everything was good to go.

I love this hotel!!  Arrived after office hours and staff left my key and note in the mailbox--office staff is so incredibly friendly and like to visit with guests who linger in the cute lobby. Bed linens are Ralph Lauren and very comfy, as well as nice soaps and cozy, clean room.  Plus I didn't have my pup with me, but saw that this hotel is pet friendly (especially loved the standard poodle hanging out in the lobby).
Small breakfast bar in the mornings with toast, boiled eggs, muffins and cereal. You can sit with your coffee and visit or read in the lobby any time of the day. Very friendly, nice family hotel.
