I'd say the place was ok. The breakfast was nothing special. Coffee was a bit weak. We were pretty much in & out of here, so for a two night stay in September, it was fine & reasonable. Trying to get out of the parking lot and turning left on the main road can be a little tricky.

They sent me to a room that wasn't made up. It wasn't the first time this happened to me so I guess that can happen. It kind of sucks when you are tired and parked your car on the other side of the motel and have to drive it back to get another key/room.
The TV had no remote control. I asked for one and they gave me one that didn't work.

The room was clean, price is reasonable and the location is good.

Dirty carpets, smelly rooms, hot water took 10 minutes to heat up, no cable tv. Owner is giving me 20% discount for no cable.  Good thing staying one night. Not recommended.

Full disclosure: This review is two years old. I'm transferring my google reviews to yelp.

Stayed here for one (and only one) night on our first night in Estes Park.

Service was mediocre to say the least. We almost always had to ring for someone to come to the desk and he was always rude. Like, offensively rude.

Floors and beds were dirty and shoddy, but you get what you pay for... oh wait, we paid more for this room than we did for far better lodgings down the street (Discovery Lodge: recommended!). Bathroom floor was warped and bumpy. Shower was dirty and of poor quality. The room did have a microwave and mini fridge, but the outlet was shoddy and kept coming unplugged. There are tons of places to sleep in Estes Park; skip the Super 8.

Another reviewer who stayed here years ago here, and I'd assume its quality has gone up but I've since seen it on "10 dirtiest hotels in the US" lists. What really prompted me to tell my tale is, this place randomly showed up in a bad dream I had last night (lol - but really it did).
My family came to Estes Park for a week, and this seemed like the economical choice, seeing we could get a kitchenette.
Basically, the entire place was unkempt at best, disgusting and dangerous at worst, and the owners seemed like they couldn't give less of a crap about it.
There were - no kidding - little larva in the kitchenette equipment. The whole place was dingy and dark. The continental breakfast was lacking, to say the least.
There were open electrical wires in the room which sparked when the lights were turned on.
We weren't expecting a 5-star resort or anything, but this......just no.

Not a terrible place. The building is a little bit older with a classic "mountain" look.  The rooms are reasonably nice.  Unlike some of the other reviews, I did not have any issues with my room.

It appears as a family run business, and the staff are quite courteous.  The continental breakfast was pretty good with the standard affair: cereal, juice, toast, & coffee.
