We had a very enjoyable one-night stay at the Fairfield Inn downtown. The room was very clean, and equipped with a microwave and refrigerator, nice TV and seating area. Best of all were the Tempur-pedic beds. The hotel is located within walking distance of several good restaurants and  is at the edge of the Thursday evening farmers' market.

This place is great! Our company booked the wrong nights and we needed to check in early in the day. They got us rooms at 12:00 3 hours before check in time. Super friendly staff, the manager even gave me his phone charger since I forgot mine. Location is really close to good restaurants and they have bogo deals on drinks right across the street. Everything is clean and newer looking.

This hotel was great! Very clean, and a perfect location. We walked just a few blocks downtown for dinner, and went for a run around a nearby park the next morning. All around very convenient! The breakfast was even totally fine with lots of options, coffee and fruit.

An excellent hotel to spend a night or two! My family and I throughly enjoyed staying here! Very nice beds, spotless rooms, and not a detail overlooked (even the disposable kitchen towels were folded!) The breakfast attendant was very kind, helpful, and sent us off to our day with a smile, thanking us for our stay:)

Comfortable, clean, one of the best of its genre.  We have previously stayed at Springhill Suites (another Marriott brand, across the street) and this compares very favorably.  Another review has mentioned the silly $5.00 parking charge for an open parking lot; but that is balanced by the fine, comfortable memory foam mattress beds.
All of these properties are well-located near City market and the main street of Grand Junction with lots of restaurants, and good grass for walking dogs.

Returned and the hall noise from staff is fixed, they are no longer loud. The kitchen staff is new as well, opened early, polite, talking with guests. Courteous when items are out. Would be nice to have items set out prior to running completely out in dining area, like mugs, yogurts, milks, coffee, oatmeal items, maybe bigger oatmeal item containers, and an additional coffee pumper. Keep bring out clean mugs and other items to keep refrigerator looking full. Eggs, and sausages were hot and waffles always good. I would give a 5 if the hotel had roll always, since the largest room only had 2 queens. The staff was friendly, and prompt when requesting additional items. Would liked to have extra shampoos etc. in the room, when I register with 4 guests, so I don't have to ask, but then again, no hotel seems to do this which bewilders me why they think 4 guests can use 1 bottle of shampoo, conditioner and lotion per day, as well as not enough towels. Pool was pretty cold too. Other than that, great location. Not enough wrongs to keep us away, we will be back.

$5.00 to park in the parking lot.  It used to be free.  The company who owns the Hampton next door and who also own this hotel and the property across the street have alway had a parking lot.  As do every Hampton and Fairfield I've stayed at.  Now they've decided it's OK to charge $5.00 to park in their lot.  The hotel is fine but I'm sorry a parking lot included into the design of the property which has been around for years should be included in the price of the room and not added as you check in when they ask if you have a car.  I didn't take the subway to this hotel.  There is no mass transit system worth a hoot in this town so of course I drove and need a parking space.  Is this the new norm for Fairfield properties by Mariott?

The front desk staff is super friendly as well and it seems really tired of taking flack for this stupid ownership decision.  -1 star ding for the ding dongs.

I am giving this place 5 stars simply based off of the front desk.....Steven. He helped us at midnight with our phone call, at 5am during check in, then the next day when we checked out. Thank you Steven.
