Nice and clean. No complementary buffet.
You get excellent quality room for the money compared with other local hotel.

Beautiful and comfortable but very thin walls and doors. You can hear everything in the hall and TVs in adjoining rooms. But so many hotels have the same issue. Other than that was just fine.

I liked this hotel. It was, weirdly, $20 less than staying in the fully-booked Holiday Inn Express. Brand new. You could still smell the new carpet and paint.

Anyway, man. You can see the class differences, as well. Full bar in the lobby; biodegradable, vegan, cruelty-free, organic bars of soap contained within 100% post-consumer recycled little boxes printed with soy ink (I mean, try finding that in a regular hotel. Good luck.); three different pillow firmnesses to offer in the room; a fancy, never-been-used coffee maker with raw sugar available; very nice architecture, etc etc.

It just kind of showed me (well duh) how classist things are, you know? That was my impression of the place. I did like it a lot, but it came with the reality that, I guess, the average conservative American proletariat won't give a fuck about whether something's organic or biodegradable or vegan or whatever, because that kind of consciousness is highly class-conscious as well.

NE WAIZ GUYZ, I liked it. You should stay there. Staff was friendly.

Nice rooms, good service. Kinda pricey for not having breakfast included. Probably would not stay here again with the other choices available in Grand Junction.

Very Disappointing. I stay in Holiday Inn level hotels several times a month. This was a disappointing stay. The facilities are very good. Only open about one year. That's the good. The bad . . . Charging $.50 for a cup of coffee in the Lobby. No microwave in the rooms, or even available to guests that we could find. When I was checking in, I overheard a staff member ask the desk clerk if someone else was driving the shuttle to the hotel because "she just didn't feel like making a bunch of trips to the airport (about 2 miles).

Later in the evening, I returned after dinner at about 10:00 p.m. When I walked in, the evening clerk was laying on top of the laundry cart "goofing off."  He and another person were apparently folding towels at the front desk.

At breakfast, I asked for salsa. I finally gave up and ate my breakfast without the salsa. When she came back to drop off the check, she remembered the salsa. She gave a halve hearted apology and then  blamed the other waitress.

Very poor attention to details and customer service. I will be staying next door at LQ next time.

Best you will get in this town likely.  Clean rooms with a modern furniture update.  The con here is the freeway noise (our room was facing freeway) and paper thin walls - would recommend earplugs!

I am so perplexed as to when Holiday Inns got so upscale. I remember staying in Holiday Inns as a kid, because my parents knew they were reasonably priced, sometimes a little rough around the edges, but always little-person-friendly.

Now Holiday Inns seem to be all pretty and polished. This one came with a bar and a "pillow menu." But no free breakfast. No kid's club. Hmmm.

For the Hotwire price of $49 a night, this was a perfect place to stay. I highly doubt most people pay so little. It was a comfortable bed and a nice place to pay...but it's sad to see the old Holiday Inns go by the wayside.

They would have gotten four stars...but I was expecting a free continental breakfast. Sorry.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn while my bike was being worked on next door.  So they get one star for being close to a motorcycle dealer.  The rest of the stars are for the clean comfortable room, free internet and nice service.  If I am ever in the area again, I will stay there.

The hotel facilities are very nice, clean and nice enough that I extend my stay from one night to two.

This would have been a 5 star review except for the really bad food in the restaurant.  I had one of the worst pizzas I've ever had there.  Cardboard crust which was black from burning and shrimp that had a fishy, rubbery taste.  The wait staff were nice, but the food was very disappointing.

There are some really good places to eat in Grand Junction on Main Street east of 1st street.  Eat there, and not at this hotel!

In my quest to solidify my Priority Club status I hit the Holiday Inn Grand Junction on my most recent trip to the city.  The hotel is a very new build with all the updated amenities you can expect of the full service Holiday Inns.  This location is also a "Suites" property so it is possible to get a two room parlor style suite with a living room area.

I booked online on the Priority Club website at around 120ish dollars.  That may have been the AAA rate.  I don't really participate in the 3rd party hotel and opaque booking websites because they don't earn or benefit from any part of the Priority Club program.

Because I'm a Priority Platinum, I was upgraded to one of the suites on the 2nd floor without asking.  The room was huge with a nice living room, wetbar area with a microwave and mini fridge and a separate bedroom.  Both the living room and bedroom had large flat screen TV's.  There were multiple telephones in the living room, desk and by the bed.  The bathroom was nice a large with a comfortably big bathtub/shower.  I'm guessing the ceilings in this room were at least 10 ft, it felt very spacious.  The room was very new and everything looked just that way.

I'm not a hotel swimmer but there was a nice big indoor pool and hottub.  I did workout in the gym.  There are 2 treadmills and 2 elliptical machines with 2 different TV's to watch.  Unfortunately there's no sort of free weights or Nautilus weight machines.  So plan to focus on your cardio portion of your workout routine.

The hotel is very visible right off the freeway by the airport but its awkward to get to.  You have to go up a light or two and then drive through a business park till the road wraps back towards the freeway.  Make sure you're aware of the directions when you're trying to get there the first time.  Its not just a pull of the freeway and your there even though it looks that way.

I didn't eat, but they did have a very nice restaurant & bar in the hotel.  I checked the menu, the prices were very reasonable for full service hotel prices.  Its not Chili's cheap but its cheaper than your average hotel restaurant.  If you're looking for free crappy hotel breakfast you're best to keep moving down to the Holiday Inn Express by the mall.  This is not a free hotel breakfast hotel, but honestly why would you want horrible free hotel breakfast food?

From the looks of it, I'm thinking this might be the nicest hotel in Grand Junction.  I highly recommend it and just remember if you book and earn Priority Club points you can get posh suite upgrades just like me!

Great deal on hotwire.com .  Got the room for 60$ with fees and everything.  Near the highway. Can't complain

We book it through Priceline. The price seems good for 3 star hotel. The drawbacks we're there was no fridge or microwave in the room. I have never seen such a thing. They also bookes our room on the second floor overlooking the garbage cans and the highway. It was not a busy day it was a Sunday. With that many rooms available they could have put a lot better room.

I'm not a picky hotel person but it seems like if you aren't one they get top dollar for you might get the worst of the rooms.

I would however probably stay here again.

I am a loyal Holiday Inn-er (for the points, they are the best deal) and I usually stay at Expresses because they tend to be newer.

Not this time, folks!  This hotel is about a year old!  High ceilings, nicely appointed rooms, nice new bath and body works products.  Sheets are clean, beds are nice, flat screens in the rooms.  Hot water, high pressure, but I can still hear people through walls.  I hate that.

It was super hard to find and my GPS did NOT take me to the right place.  I had to call a number, which directed me to the Clarion, and the guy on the other end of the line gave me directions!

All good with this new hotel, I'm psyched to have a new place to stay in GJ.

This hotel gets four stars for amenities.  The hotel is very nice, with all the amenities I care for.  A clean laundry room with plenty of machines, and an attached restaurant/bar.

The staff are just okay.  3 out of 5 stars.  One desk clerk was very nice.  One was kind of nasty.  The bar/wait staff are okay.

This hotel and the room we stayed in where very clean.

Well appointed, clean, and modern.

Nice inside, okay food, but I did end up getting and upset stomach for some reason.  Which could be unrelated.  The food was a little simple.  I got this strange Caesar salad that was stalks of lettuce.  It was okay if you ate the hearts out of the lettuce stalks.  I also ad a burger that was like one of the lesser quality burgers.

You end up getting a much better breakfast in hotels that have an attached restaurant than you would get in most hotels with a free breakfast.  You pay for it, but it ends up being better.

One of the more reasonable places we stayed when considering the amenities.

I would have liked to stay here one more night rather than the hole we stayed at in Green River where we got gouged.

I know, it just a Holiday Inn, but listen this one is ultra clean, very new, easy parking, easy check in and out, quiet, and priced fairly. A short drive down the street gave me everything else I needed. So I conclude, good deal overall!

Very clean with a friendly staff that seem to be trained to keep a guest happy. I walked into a clean room on the 4th floor and even though the freeway was outside it wasn't distracting at all. Ate diner and the service was great the food was typical hotel food but  it was a very chill feeling with a server who genuinely seemed to care about service.
The only drawback was that they didn't have HBO but I slept great and took a great shower with perfect water pressure.
I would recommend this to all my friends that travel through Grand Junction..

Brand spanking new hotel.  Nice, modern and clean which is a rarity if you are on a cross country road trip until you reach the major cities.  I stayed there on two occasions and it never disappointed.  This is easily the best hotel in Grand Junction.  Nice fast WiFi too.  The price of the room doesn't include breakfast.

Nice and clean hotel! I don't know about reviewer that said the hotel was hard to find? Yu can see hotel right off freeway and if you have a phone with GPS it takes you right to the front door of hotel! lol

Along with the others who got a fabulous deal for under $50 a night  through Priceline, we were pleasantly suprised and wished it wasn't midnight checking in and we had to leave early so we could enjoy it more.
I generally like the new updated holiday inn, but always forget that the express have the nice breakfast buffet and the suites charge you an arm and a leg for breakfast in their restaurant.
Also no dogs or smoking allowed which was a pain.
The room was very nice, in fact the nicest on our trip from Ohio to California and we slept well.
The had labeled soft and firm pillows, nice toiletries, all good here.

As a crewmember I am very disappointed along with other crewmembers in this hotel we used to have microwave and refrigerator's which is a necessity with crewmembers in our rooms and now we do not get these. This is highly disappointing and uncalled for also the restaurant is not open for lunch and no free continental breakfast which just not right and as a priority club member also I only give this hotel two stars

Really nice for GJ in my opinion.

- $.50 for morning coffee
- No continental breakfast
- Great in hotel bar and restaurant
- Pool and hot tub
- Over friendly and wonderful staff - well done!
- No smoking throughout entire building
- No pets of any kind allowed
- Close to interstate
- Close to airport
- Free wifi - important

I thought a list was appropriate for this review

This is our second visit and it will not be our last.  Very reasonable prices, and amazingly clean.  The staff is very helpful and genuinely friendly.  The room had very nice decor, and felt new.  The beds were comfortable.  Nice onsite restaurant.

The only suggestion I have would be to have cots available.

The sound proofing in the rooms is not the greatest, but wasn't a problem.

Under $50 including taxes with a day before check in Priceline deal was great for the $150 King room I was upgraded to.  The new construction and modern design were a refreshing bonus.

My room was clean and well stocked except for a fridge or microwave.  I found that a tad odd.  That wasn't a big deal for me this time, though, as I spent less than eight hours at the hotel.  I'd stay there again as long as I could find a deal.

Stayed here with the kids in the middle of a long long road trip.  First off I don't know about everyone else, but this place is a bit hard to find, make sure you have good GPS otherwise you will get lost.

Here is the good:
the hotel is clean and spotless, even the downstairs lobby bathrooms are clean
The rooms are a decent size and I was able to get a nice room with two queen beds
Wifi is free and fast
Pool is a bit small, but its clean and they have a nice jacuzzi

Here is the bad:
The walls are VERY thin.  We could hear the people next door and you could hear people shutting their doors.

Other than that everything was decent.  Would stop here again if I got a good deal.

Here is a tip if you check in on yelp you get 10% off breakfast or dinner!

This is a great hotel where you definitely get your money's worth. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The geometric theme is a bit outdated but the rooms and lobby feel clean, nice, and reasonably elegant. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are very soft. They also have plenty of great places to sit and read (both inside and outside), a bar, and room service. I definitely recommend this place!
