My wife and I were married at Angel's Watch in the winter of 2011 Peggy and Bill really made our once in a lifetime experience one to remember. They really made us feel like a part of their family. We will never forget them! We stayed with them for a total of 3 nights including our very intimate wedding day and everything was wonderful! Our room was warm, comfortable and inviting complete with gelatin soaps and bath salts in the bath room. Breakfasts were wonderful - they even served mimosas! We took advantage of the on-call massage therapist who gave a wonderful massage right there at the Inn. We were both in heaven! Our wedding cake was adorable and delicious. The ceremony was so wonderfully memorable. Peggy even cried and hugs were given all around. Our pictures turned out great! They captured every treasured moment beautifully. We surely felt a special connection with this great family. Our wedding was an experience we will never forget due in no small part to the owners at the Angel's Watch Inn.

We stayed at the Angels Watch Inn, our first B & B experience this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. The quaint decor and most of all the hospitality was great. We not only stayed here but had our small wedding here. We stayed in the "Back Room". Lovely. The bed was ok and everything else in the room was great. Nice attention to details...from amenities like snacks and the mini refrigeator, clean bathroom including soaking bath salts, a wide range DVDs for your viewing pleasure, free wi fi and easily assessible to the freeway. They also provided local information on dining in the area. We dined at the New Deal Steak place down the street which was affordable and yummy. The owner's made you feel right at home and comfortable. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a great experience, hospitality and affordability. We had a great stay and will definitely return in the future.

Just got married on 4/21/14 at the Angel's Watch Inn in Westbrook CT. The Inn is clean, very romantic and the inn keepers Peggy and Bill are a delight! We stayed in the "Front Room" which had a very comfortable sleigh bed, fireplace, and a fabulous soaking tub (big enough for 2). Every morning Bill makes a wonderful breakfast for the guests of the inn (eggs, fresh fruits, muffins).
There is a lovely room on the second floor for the bride to use to get ready before the ceremony.
Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful! Both Bill and Peggy make guests feel special and like family.
The elopement packages that the inn offers are a great value.
We definitely plan on returning to the inn again for our first anniversary!

Bill and Peggy were fantastic hosts. The Inn was very well located by both town and Bill's Seafood (a great outdoor bar and restaurant). The breakfasts were both hearty and healthy, depending on what we wanted. Perhaps most important, however, were the stories that Bill told throughout breakfast--his humor and warmth is unmatched. My friend and I had a fabulous time joking around with him.
The room is great, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom and standing shower. The soaking tub, however, was a highlight. It was wonderful to bathe and have champagne after a cool night on the coast.
My friend and I hope to spend a weekend there every year!

This is the most romantic place I've ever stayed. My fiance and I stayed in the "Back Room" a few weekends after we got engaged (Aug08) and we had a wonderful time. The room isn't huge, but the beautiful décor easily made up for it. The bathroom murals were especially cute, and they give you bubble bath for the enormous tub.
The complimentary drinks and snacks were a nice touch, and the welcome wine was a real treat. They also have a wide selection of video's to watch. They also gave us a little basket full of extra large beach towels. The shore is a short walk away, but that area wasn't great for swimming in August. The next day we asked the inn keeper for advice and he was very helpful and recommended a great beach just over the Rhode Island border.
There's also plenty of great dining options nearby. My favorite was the lobster rolls at Bill's Seafood Restaurant, but Pazzo's was also very good.
