Rude service!!!! When housekeeping came to our room on our second day we said we did not want the room cleaned but would simply like some fresh towels. The woman handed my girlfriend 2 towels. My girlfriend asked for 2 more, explaining there were 2 of us in the room and we would each like 2 towels each, one for the pool, one for the shower, reasonable enough right?! The housekeeper REFUSED saying they were "short on towels". (I am not kidding) I then called the front desk insisting housekeeping bring us more towels, they said they would make sure housekeeping came back with more towels, they NEVER did. When I called the front desk a couple hours later I was told housekeeping had gone home and I would need to come to the front desk and get the towels myself. Daytona beach is lined with hotels to choose from, this will never be my choice again!!!!

A great location. Right on the beach, oceanfront suite with a full kitchen, 2 separate bedroom areas, with a table and seating couch, NO BALCONY (older renovated hotel) but Great floor to ceiling full wall window of the ocean ...the pool and hot tub on patio next to the beach. Has a washer/dryer for use of the customers $2.25 per load washer, and same for the dryer. Located right on the beach, walking distance to the Main Pier (about 2 1/2 blocks) plus the ferris wheel is located there too. Also plenty of souvenir shopping and Winn Dixie is about 4 miles up Atlantic Avenue, so great location for that too. 7-11 is about one block away and liquor store and Pizza place across the street and a Sarge's Bar and Grill across the street too. Great pool area (large and heated) and outdoor bar.
Great price for the location and hot breakfast in the morning from 7-10 with Waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, bagels, donuts, milk, coffee and juice..FREE...great deal..the staff was nice. I enjoyed our three nights here..I was with my daughter, son and his fiancee..we all loved the hotel. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen had dishes, silverware, stove, microwave and full size refrigerator.
Highly recommend to all. I will definitely stay here again and again !!!!
Also very important...FREE WiFi..No complaints..

When I got here, I didn't know what to expect, because the rate was at such a good price. Then, I was pleasantly surprised in a huge way. The staff is superb. I don't know what the deal with that other review was, but the staff with me was not only extremely friendly, but also accommodating, hospitable, and they took really good care of me, and the guy didn't even want to take credit for doing such a good job he just gave credit to the hotel! And the hotel is amazing it is something like what heaven would be like in someone's dreams. The window opens and you can hear the ocean, with a full view at a good rate. It's really outstanding. I was completely surprised by its awesomeness, and I've never been so happy in my entire life.

Rudest General Manager I have ever met, he must be Family to the owners, because there is no way he has any kind of experience in hospitality. And why no uniform? a tie maybe? I would even settle for name tag. Just some guy in a scruffy shirt being incredibly rude. I am a 33 year old soccer dad, I have not been in a confrontation since Bush was president. This guy was literally going to call the police on me while I was carrying a crying 3 year old because my guest did not have a wrist band on. I have never been given a "wrist band" and this was my third and last time ever staying there. The GM apparently hates his life and needs to take it out on vacationing family's.

I've never been treated so poorly by a hotel manager in my life. We were visiting our parents who came to visit for a birthday. My husband, his sister and two kids, and myself went down to the pool. We are there maybe 2 minutes when this jackass in a dirty polo comes over and tells us we have to be escorted to the front desk. Ummmm... Why? We are trespassing apparently. Okay, so I understand that locals may try to poach a hotel pool and act as guests, but certainly there must be procedures in place that don't include accosting three adults, two children (who are crying now and scared). We try to explain we are visiting our parents who are staying in the hotel, including their reservation name. He says it's not on his "list" we have to leave or be arrested and have our car towed. Mom comes down right then, after briefly going upstairs to change, and gives the same exact information we gave... Magically it appeared on his list. He was combative, rude, and the most unprofessional person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. If this is how a company trains their management to treat people, I can only imagine what it would be like to be a guest. Shame on you for treating us this way. If I could give NO stars, I would.

I was a bit skeptical from reading negative reviews on Google about the Boardwalk Inn. I have concluded, however, that those posting negative reviews are likely people with caviar taste on a hotdog budget. The fact is, this is a great hotel in a great location...for the price.
I chose the Boardwalk Inn because they had an earlier check in time (3pm) and later check out time (11am) than all other hotels in the area. In addition, the $100 per night that I paid included free parking (very convenient and easy), free breakfast (waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins) and free wifi (although I didn't use it, hence I was on vacation).
The rooms would have benefitted from a fresh coat of paint, but this did not change my experience one bit. A refrigerator and microwave were a great help for leftovers from the various restaurants in the area.
All in all, if you've got the money, stay at the Hilton down the block. If you are on a budget and want the most out of Daytona Beach, this is a great place to stay for a night or two.

We stayed at the boardwalk inn the last 3 times we went to dayona beach. The rooms are clean big and well maintained. It's no hilton so if you are rich snob I suggest you pay 300 a night and go down the street and look at the same beach that I see fron my room .
Late check .
