I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. This was probably the worst place I have ever stayed in for a number of reasons.

-The sheets on both beds were stained.

-There was vomit in the toilet from a previous guest.

-The shower curtains were mildewed.

-There were cigarette ashes on the ledge of the shower.

-The towel racks were all broken.

-The ironing board cover was stained and the iron didn't work.

I voiced my complaints to the person at the counter and expressed my desire to switch rooms but was told there was nothing they could do. I also contacted Wyndham Hotel Groups about my stay and was told I would be contacted within 2 days of me e-mailing them and never heard anything back. I did get a deal on this hotel by signing up through Travelocity and I guess it goes to show, you get what you pay for...............

I booked 7 nights at this hotel by talking to a Hotels.com rep on the phone.  The description of the room online made it sound like each room had a washer & dryer in it, which was not the case.  The rep also told me that the rooms had security safes, which was incorrect.  The misleading information aside, the accommodations were totally what you can expect for a 2-star hotel.  The room was small but very clean, and there was a big, brand new, flat-screen TV.  However, the toilet seat desperately needed to be replaced (it was scratched up and really old... but clean!), and the beds were a little hard for my taste. I did not swim in the pool (no time) or try the breakfast (late sleeper).

FYI, this area of Daytona Beach is pretty sketchy.  There were often people wandering around outside and staring at me like a piece of meat any time I left my room.  I didn't feel safe there.  Plus, there aren't any restaurants, grocery stores or even a 7-11 nearby... you have to drive a few minutes in either direction to find anything.

The other major complaint I had was that the maid service was rude.  I am a late sleeper, so I usually put the "do not disturb" sign on my door, then ask housekeeping for anything I need later in the day.  Every time I asked for extra towels or coffee packets, the maids got mad at me!  A couple times, I couldn't even find a maid, so I helped myself to supplies from their cart, which just sat out on the sidewalk all day.  The kicker was when it came time to leave.  I had asked for a late check out, and the front desk agreed to give me an extra hour.  At three minutes till, one of the maids literally POUNDED on my door and told me it was check-out time!  I told her it was three minutes till and that I was almost ready to go... and she actually argued with me over what time it was!  Unbelievable.

Everybody I spoke to at the front desk was nice (although the lobby STUNK like curry and body odor).  The owner even walked a FedEx package I had received to my room himself. But I just did not enjoy my stay. For the area of town it was in (scary!) and condition of the hotel (older and small), it was overpriced.  And the location wasn't convenient at all.  I won't stay here again.

Not a bad place at all for the price.

Pros:
The price. The cheapest we could find in the area
It was clean. I didn't have one dirty anything in my room.
New flat screen TV in our room.
Close enough to the beach.
Staff was super friendly.

Cons:
Beds were really uncomfy.
Not right on the beach if that's what you're looking for.
The continental breakfast was pretty weak.
The pool area is very small. Only about 6 lounge chairs.

For the price we will be back next year when we head to Daytona for Jeep Beach!

Find a better hotel!
Advertised free breakfast....We went during posted breakfast hours (6am-9am) and there was nothing there. I don't think they ever put anything out in the first place.
The Indian family who runs this business doesn't care about customer service. Took a long time to get someone to come to the front desk After waiting a few minutes an old lady in slippers and pajamas came out only to tell me to wait for the manager! Not very sanitary or appealing. The only good thing is the rooms are somewhat spacious.

Exceeded expectations for a one-night stay. lol.

The decor definitely made you nostalgic for the nineties -- dark, heavy furniture, salmon-colored sheets, atypical landscape paintings, etc.  Fairly standard for an inexpensive motel. The bathroom had a little mold on the ceiling and holes in the walls; the shower  head was a little loose as well. Everything was clean enough -- not SUPER clean, but no red flags. The room itself doesn't really inspire relaxation; but with the beach fifteen minutes away, I think you can find relaxation elsewhere.

The brand new flat screen was a nice touch, and the bed and pillows were surprisingly comfy. Friendly staff. I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste and they provided me with some. Though I didn't really utilise any of the other amenities, the room came with an iron and ironing board, a refrigerator, a microwave, and water boiler.

And their wifi was great.

I didn't go to the pool, but it looked well-maintained; small, but maintained. The "continental" breakfast consisted of some fruits (they'd been sitting there for an indefinite amount of time), plastic wrapped pastries, cereal, toast, juice, and milk. Not a very wide variety, but there are plenty of diners and restaurants around the area.
