    Horrible experience! There were visible bed bugs that we captured on video. There is obvious black mold throughout numerous rooms. We had ten families in all rooms with numerous problems. Guest were trapped in the elevator. Search YouTube with fountain beach and search tag fountain beach bed bugs

    It was a last minute stop coming from Disney in Orlando.  We called Hotels.com on the road and they found this Resort for us. Its not really a resort, its some older condos that are individual owned by people and managed by this place.

    It is pretty much renovated on the inside of the bathrooms,but everything else is older.

    It has a perfect on the beach location and right by the boardwalk. There are plenty of shops around and places to eat.

    The staff was very good and helped out with anything we needed.

    The only bad thing would be the internet service.  I really dont understand why hotel, motels and resorts have poor internet service in there rooms.

    I have had this problem with several places I have stayed this year.

    I would stay again because of the location of being on the beach and there is a good bar on location as well.

    Rooms are great for the price. Right on the beach.

    I stayed there on business and am required to have an itemized reciept for my expense reports .... Pretty standard.

    I booked online (First mistake if you want a reciept) because its 2012 and who doesnt book their hotels online. So I arrived checked in had a great stay and when I goto checkout the "Gentelman" behind the counter REFUSES to give me a reciept.

    He says NOPE! WTF?! I say excuse me? I need a reciept. He responds saying that I am contractually obligated to not give you a reciept!

    BS!!! this is 2012 and who DOESNT book online. It took my booking agency a full week of fighting to get me a reciept.

    Other than that its a nice place but The Director of Marketing is a rude person who will never see my business again.

    Not sure why everyone has such low reviews for this place, Let's start with the near perfect location, Just close enough to the pier and the shops of Daytona Beach for a short walk without feeling like you're right in the thick of it all. The views out of the rooms (majority) are not that great, but the balcony is pretty awesome. The pool/hot tub and outdoor bar is a nice addition to the hotel. It also has a restaurant/bar inside but i didn't venture into it. The rooms are pretty decent though a bit dated (Still using tube TV's) the bed wasn't bad as i've been on much worse. the addition of the couch was nice. The bathroom is kind of small and the shower is kind of odd, Might not be friendly to those who are handicapped. The faucet for the sink in our room had far too much pressure and you had to hardly have it on so you could get water on your hands and not all over your cloths. The rooms could be updated a bit, same with the rest of the hotel, the Lobby looks nice, the elevator looks like it has seen much better days. The price imo reflects the quality of the room, but as a place to lay your head for a night or two while being close to the beach this is a great spot!

    The key never worked on the room, the front desk had to come up every time to let everyone in, the lock was changed 2 times and my daughters got locked out of the room at 2 am and were stuck out on the balcony. The hotel had to kick the door in and break it to get them inside, this all happened within the course of 2 nights Bob, I contacted your front desk several times to let them know that we needed someone to come up and I would have to run to one of our other rooms often times I would have to call the front desk and let it ring 12-15 times before we got an answer however your staff was great and they came up right away. Perhaps having the microchip reader in an ocean front hotel is a bad option it certainly was for us. Obviously you were not made aware of how much inconvenience it caused I identified the problem several times we were there for two days, Would you have been happy with the experiences that happened on top of four grown daughters being locked out of their room on the balcony due to a bad door, thankfully they had one cell phone available and were able to call my son from his room for assistance and he contacted the front desk and they came up and kicked the door in. I will have to call you later on this afternoon as I work until 5:30. There is really nothing further to say but a discount would have been appreciated.

    I personally love this place, we come every year here , the staff and the people in this area are really friendly , especially the staffs at the tiki bar they are super awesome. The bar food is always on point  (not even expensive). Overall this is the best place to stay.
