    We stayed in the Hampton Inn, 1024 N. Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida, this past week. We always choose Hampton Inn whenever possible as we are never dissatisfied. This Hampton Inn far surpassed previous stays. Everyone, from the Manager to the service personnel went beyond to make our stay the best yet. We would recommend this Hampton Inn for everyone planning a visit to Daytona Beach, FL.

    Loved how accommodating the staff was....asked to be moved to a room with a better view of the ocean and got one without hesitation. Was very pleased to be treated so well even though I used my points and paid $0. Free breakfast in the AM has a lot more than just the customary continental items and goes until 10. Will definitely be back!!

    This hotel is a new Hampton inn that was built from an older property.  The remodel is stunning and feels like a new hotel.  The pool deck with whirlpool, fire pit and pool make the perfect place to relax after a long day.  And the ocean front views are just perfect.  We turned our AC off and slept with the sliding glass door open and slept with the sounds of the ocean.  I can't wait to stay here again.

    My twinsThe General Manager My name is Dr. Green and on January 5, 2014 I went with my family to visit Hampton Inn Daytona Beach - Beachfront. I made a reservation for my family to stay there on April 18 through April 20, 2014. I received a paper print out of my reservation with confirmation number 86294916. On April 4, my American Express card ending in -3003 was charged for one night. On April 15, I called and spoke with Hannah requesting that our reservation be changed to May 23 to May 26, 2014 as one of my twin boys would not be able to swim that weekend due to medical reasons. I documented who I spoke to and was assured by Hannah that the one night that was charged to my American Express would be credited towards on new 3 night stay to celebrate the twins's birthday. Yesterday May 20th I called the front desk and spoke with the same young lady, Hannah. I asked that our reservation confirmation number 86294916 be changed to a 2 night stay because my husband had to work an extra day. To my dismay, Hannah could not find a reservation for this upcoming weekend. Instead she told me that the confirmation number pulled up my old April reservation which was a NO SHOW in the system. Hence I could not get a refund. I was upset. She told me not to worry because Lauren, the General Manager, most likely has the reservation held under her name because of the change opinion dates done in April. I was told that Lauren was to call me today, Wednesday May 21th. She called me today at 9:51 am. She asked me to explain what the problem was. I did. She asked me if I had received an email after the reservation was changed. I told her no but I have my original confirmation with my notes. Furthermore, on April 15 I spoke with Nordia, and Carla, 2 wonderful employees that work at the Hotel that we met on January 5 when we went there and booked our reservation in person. Her first response was that there was nothing that she could do since I did not have an email with my confirmation. My response that simple. I had 2 of her employees that could verify that they spoke with me in April and knew that we were coming there on Memorial Day weekend instead. Plus I had my written documentation of who I spoke to re changing my reservation and even documentation of the  increased room rate increase from $149 per night to $167.63 per night. I asked her which was was more credible to her? She never answered my question. However she promised to see if she can find a room for us especially after I told her it was the birthday celebration for my twins. She promised to call me back before the end of the work day. At 7:58 pm today I had not heard from her. So I called and spoke with Hannah, the one who did not change our reservation in April. I asked for Lauren. Hannah said she left early today and she could leave her a message to call me tomorrow. I told her that was unacceptable. I insisted that I find out whether she could found a reservation for us. Here I am at home with my twin boys with their suitcase packed and excited about their weekend at the beach. Hannah told me that she would get a hold of Lauren and call me back. Just a few minutes ago, a get a call from the front desk manager who tells me that the charges to my American Express were refunded. That was the General Manager's solution. Simply refund her money. Who cares about my twins's birthday? The general manager's incompetence and that if her staff ruined my twin's birthday.  This General Manager is a liability to  Hampton Inn. She simply do not care.

    We couldn't have been happier with our stay ! Clean lovely accommodations, comfy beds, amazing view from our Oceanside room balcony, fresh hot FULL breakfast included in room cost, amazingly spacious and clean well appointed pool deck including pool towels provided , fun kids splash pad & nice jacuzzi for the grown folks! Also their staff is first class! Attentive, friendly , helpful & accommodating ! This is definitely now our go to place in Daytona!!!

    Stayed 2 nights. First night hotel was empty. Room was very nice and so was the bathroom. Very attractive. Breakfast was pleasant - typical Hampton Inn. The second night was AWFUL - cardboard walls and the neighbor was a LOUD talker.
    Could not do anything about.  Talked past 2 am. It was too cold to swim. We left!

    A Hampton Inn experience does not get any better. Beautiful, clean hotel. Spacious room with a perfect ocean view. Convenient to everywhere, including track. Nice pool and workout room. Add craft beer at the deck bar!

    This is a great new Hampton inn.  Room is modern decor.  Rooms have microwave, fridge, in room safe.  A/c was controlled by thermostat so it wasn't constantly blowing.  Bathroom has tub/shower.  Bed was comfortable.  soft and firm pillows.  Plenty of self parking for free out front.
    Free breakfast was waffles,scrambled or boiled eggs,yogurt, cereal, breads, bananas. Pantry you can buy snacks from. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi .  Nothing is directly across the street.  You could maybe walk to nearby Walgreens, but a short drive to some restaurants and grocery. Staff is all very pleasant .

    Just spent the weekend here and sevice was great. The rooms were like brand new and its right on the ocean. Even the breakfast was surprisingly good. They also have a cool kiddy splash park. I will definitely stay here again.

    My family recently stayed here towards the end of our winter road trip. We have stayed in similarly priced hotels along the Atlantic coast, but this property exceeded our expectations. This property appeared new or recently renovated. Our room, the double queen bed suite was very spacious and clean. Normally, hotels by the beach show signs of wear from guests covered in sand and salt. Not so with this hotel. The location on the strip has convenient access to the pier and other attractions, without the sounds and smells. The pool area is great for adults and kids alike with the large pool, hot tub, fire pit with outdoor bar, and fountain play area for the kids. The gym had new cardio equipment, 3 tradmills, elliptical trainer, recumbent bicycle, free weights, weight station, pull up bar, and medicine balls. The breakfast and all night coffee bar kept us fueled for our journey.

    We got a special deal thru a different company but man was this property beautiful. Heated pool. Splash pad for the kids. Right on the beach. Beautiful views. Nice Jacuzzi. Fires every night. Beach toy exchange so the kids have something to play with. Great breakfast in the am. Fairly centrally located. We had an amazing weekend. The staff was absolutely fantastic

    Its not often when I get to say I have truly received "knock your socks off service" but I DID!  From the moment we arrived we received help in parking our trailer (yes we needed some help here) for a good bit then at checkin with Christie (Awesome smile and service).  

    Our room was a partial ocean view which was really nice and clean with a fridge.  

    Now for the service...It wasn't just one thing. It was consistent attention to detail and amazing service EVERYtime we contacted them. We asked for blankets the first night  and I kid you not. Within 1-2 minutes of hanging up we receieved warm clean blankets from Scott. OMG!  Okay, so he must've just happened to be on the floor at the time and they radioed him and he happened to have the WARM blankets on his person.  We thought it was pure luck. But when it happened again the next night. We were like *Whoa*.  It was like he was already waiting with blankets in hand and bolted to our door.

    Everytime I passed an employee they all spoke to me and ask how i was doing with a sincere genuine smile. I mean every employee. I went out of my way to pass next to an employee and made eye contatct and for sure. I was acknowledged. It was a beautiful thing.  I've been to other inns and felt like my money shouldve gone elsewhere not this place.  Our family really felt welcomed.

    The breakfast bar is nice. I must admit I have seen better.  However the attendent was on top of it. Keeping it stocked. Like an energizer bunny...Whooshing left to right. Stocking, wiping.  Even as it was getting crowded. She even gave us ideas to go to downtown Disney where you can make your own light sabers. My son was carrying his light saber around. I didnt know they had that. So that is next on our list. They even have little baggies ready for people that don't have time to sit for their breakfast. Wow factor! Its the little things!

    I took my son and niece to their water park and pool. They loved it!!!! Awesome idea for kids. They did not want to leave. I barely mentioned needing pool towel and you guessed it. I had my fresh clean towels.  In the womens lobby restroom, they even have a nicely placed basket with tampons for use. I didnt need it bit it was the simple thought that counted.

    My niece forgot her toothbrush. And yes. Like magic it appeared.  The consistency in the service made this trip exceed beyond expectations!!!

    Perhaps its their training or their hire genuine nice employees to run this location. Whatever it is. Please keep doing it. It works!  We will keep coming to this location.

    I paid like it was a 4 star but the hotel is a 3 star.  People are nice but you can hear everything in the hall.  
    Yes I have an ocean view with a cute balcony.  And if I was here to enjoy the beach then I might enjoy the room more.
    If you get a good price for the room, then great.

    With an excellent beachfront location, this pleasant mid sized hotel was very clean, nicely appointed, and staffed by friendly and helpful employees.  Our room was attractive, very clean, and afforded a superb view of the Atlantic and much of the broad, flat beach.  Our balcony was kept clean (no presents from pigeons) and our bathroom was stocked with plenty of clean towels and wash cloths.  The elevators across the hall made a bit of noise, but because we enjoy the sound of the AC fan set on high we barely heard any noise at all.  Ample parking, a nice deck, pool, and fire pit with access to the beach via a keyed entry were appreciated.  We will stay here again...
