We stopped in Daytona for just a night on our way to Miami and found this hotel online, booked a room and off we went.
Then we got there.
VERY limited parking and it's on the ocean, so be prepared to wash your car the next morning if you want to see out of the windows. The rooms were ok, but the bathrooms were pretty rough. For the price, I assume it was a good value for ocean front in August.
The clientele was a little scary - but maybe that's standard in this area.
Not sure I'd stay there again... there are much nicer places right down the street.

Definately a nice beach side hotel, location wise. The front desk staff is simply great! However the housekeeping staff can use a little TLC. Their attitude was a little "blah." First of all, we had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door, and they knocked rudely at 10:15am, when checkout is at 11am, on top of that we had already asked for a noon checkout anyways.
When I opened the door to tell the housekeeping staff that we were a late checkout, one of them got an attitude with me. I told them, "we have already requested a noon check out" one of the 2 housekeepers said "oaky" and the rude screamed at me "well what time?!?" ... I don't think she knows what "noon" means.
Our room was clean, nice ocean view, however our sheets , on the bed, had a black rub mark on it, from something. The blacnket was already on top of it, but we usually pull all of our hotel's sheets off to inspect them, since I would hate to find "bugs" or anything else on them.
Anyhow, I would stay here again, if I came back, simple because of their front desk staff! A++++ on them, as for housekeeping i give them a D-

I am a fan. The cost if very reasonable, and the view is to die for. I awoke to the rising sun, the waves crashing on the beach, and the life guards driving down the beach. What an appropriate review to write during this New England blizzard we are enduring this evening!
The rooms are clean, and the restaraunt located on site makes a killer breakfast, also for a reasonable price. The staff is super freindly and helpful. My flight arrived late in the evening, so I wasn't able to grab dinner. The restaraunt was closed, but the staff opened the rec room so that I could get some snacks to tied me over. Upon check in, they gave me a free drink card that I could enjoy the next day. The bar tender was humerous, and I really enjoyed taking a moment to take it all in.

Hotel was nice, very clean and started off as a great experience. Bar tender was absolutely awesome. Food was good. We only stayed one night on our way home from Disney. The problems started after we checked out. Our card was used to book an entire weeks stay the day AFTER we checked out and the staff could not explain it. When we spoke with the manager of the hotel, my husband, myself, our bank manager and the corporate offices all got different responses from her. I would be very cautious staying in this establishment!

This is a great Holiday Inn property set right on the beach. If you ask and there are rooms available they will put you in a balcony room facing the ocean. The parking is limited and rather tight on the property but there is a over-flow parking lot across the street.
The lobby is large and very clean the staff here has always been great and very accommodating. I love the bar half is outside and half inside so no matter what the weather you can enjoy a few cocktails and dinner. I've always sat outside if your lucky Patti will be working the bar she's really great and knows the area very well.
The rooms are nice enough a balcony room facing the ocean just enhances the experience. Set right on A1A there are lots of things to do within walking distance.

Clean rooms. Very friendly front desk staff. The breakfast buffet is not really worth the price. They say they have a continental breakfast however you are really just given a voucher. We had a family of 4 and it cost us $45 for breakfast with our voucher only being worth $20. Food was decent but you are better off going to ihop. The air conditioner in our was very loud and sounds like a jet engine when comes on at night but overall we had a good stay.
