Room smells like urine.  Bathroom doesn't look like it has been cleaned...there is hair all over the floor.  They apologized and gave us another room that smells like coffee.  What else can I say...it's better than pee!
I'm giving this hotel 2 stars instead of 1 because of the friendly staff it's. Also relatively inexpensive.

Compared to the scuzz motels littering Daytona, this is your best cheap option IMHO.  Pretty scant on the amenities but the hotel redeems itself with having some of the most comfy beds I've ever encountered.  Go figure.  Plenty of restaurants in walking distance (nothing mind blowing but you'll be fed and boozed if you so choose) and the neighborhood isn't quite as sketchy as most of them in Daytona.

Stayed here 3 nights for Bike Week, 03/13, 03/14, 03/15. Yes it was expensive....but it was BIKE WEEK, what do you expect? Great decent size room, NEW Carpet, even had the new carpet smell, flat screen TV, coffee maker and alarm clock. Clean bathroom, beds are comfy, it was cold so didn't need to crank down the a/c. Water pressure was great as well as HOT. Rooms cleaned with clean linens each day. Accidently left money on the desk and was still there after room cleaned. Plenty of parking even though there was 100's of motorcycles, cars, trucks and trailers. The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel called Wing Hut had gorgeous girls, great food and everyone was very friendly. Had no problems whatsoever. Walking distance to other restaurants and bars. One mile from the race track. I am sure the rates are much lower when there is no event such as Daytona 500, Bike Week, Biketober Fest, Turkey Road Run etc. A great place to stay when in town for events.

This motel is the best price bargain in the area. The location is right at the I-95 exit.  If you are looking for the beach location, this is not the right one.  It is clean, has a nice breakfast, very nice staff and a beautiful pool/spa area in the center courtyard.  They also have a heated spa(gas heater) that is off to the side of the pool.  We were there in JAN and the pool was cold as most pools are in wintertime.  BUT, the spa was 104F and very nice so bring your swimwear.  The inside rooms have security keycard locks on all exterior doors for safety.  It is an older facilty but is well maintained in good condition.  Our bathroom fan was non-functional, but all else was good experience.  Very good location on International Speedway Blvd close to most everything.  It is  close to the racetrack so if there's anything happening at the track, you may hear it.  Also, it's close to the airport, so mostly small planes do fly directly overhead with a occasional jet landing/taking off.  But still a good location for a Daytona area visit at a good price.  I agree with Dan M's review, there are some really scuzzy/rough motels in this area so be careful when selecting for your Daytona stay.  As with most of the La Quinta locations, this one is very pet friendly, WOOF!

Stay here if you want fleas! We were in our adjoining room less than 5 minutes when my son said "Why do I have bugs all over me?". My two boys legs were COVERED in fleas. We got our stuff and bailed as quick as we could and retreated to the parking lot and thought we got them all off us. When my husband went in and explained the situation and said we were leaving he didn't even get an apology from the front desk. We drove back to Orlando on I-4 in a rainstorm trying to kill the fleas on us that kept coming...great when your trying to drive. NEVER AGAIN and no more La Quinta for us EVER. Disgusting...

Have been staying here each year during race week since 2002. This is the type of place I'd normally give 3 stars to, but the pluses outweigh the minuses.

GREAT location at I-95 and International Speedway Blvd.  The beds are amazing! So darn comfy. Free wi-fi. The staff is very accommodating. Good security (all hallway doors are locked 24/7). Amenities are decent. Good TVs, clean bathrooms, decent climate control (HVAC).

Yes, it is near an airport (small suburban, not very busy at night). I'd like to see the carpets cleaned more frequently, too. Pet friendly.

Could be a bit nicer, but for the convenience of it, I'll be back every year.

Stayed here for 3 nights this week.  I would say the quality is about $79-89 a night place, too bad we paid $239.

The room and the hotel both smelled quite badly.  The air conditioning was not the best functionally, we ran it 24 hours a day and couldn't cool the room enough for our comfort, it was only a high of 80 outside so I can't imagine how summer will feel.  The bed was somewhat comfortable but the pillows are very lumpy and not comfortable.  The shower was warm and had good pressure but the hairdryer is cheap and nearly useless.

The breakfast is better than most motels but has zero protein choices.

This is our second time staying here on our way to savannah . Nice clean wonderful beds , at $59 its a steal considering you get a basic breakfast - coffee bagels waffles yogurt , hard boil eggs , and cereal.

Happy to return
