I drove into Daytona with dog & mom in tow and they accommodated us with a little bungalow for about $50 a night - no charge for the dog. have stayed there 2x more since that first time.  The facilities are a little worn, but they have an indoor pool (yay), delicious home made donuts, wifi, and I just loved staying there.

Great value. Had a poolside room. Friendly staff. Easy beach access. Pool and hot tub were fun. Cute seeing permanent residents there. Little old cutie pies. Has a nice family feel. A bit tired rooms that need some TLC but if your not picky, you'll be fine - and the room we stayed was massive with full kitchen. The best is the doughnuts, OJ and coffee continental breakfast. It's fun and free so just relax and enjoy. Two outdoor pools and shuffleboard along with a basketball net. Lots to do for busy kids. A bit far down the strip.  Only downside was the uber tight parking on the second level. Don't drive SUVs or trucks up there. Lots of torn up concrete walls showing damage.

The ONLY resort in Daytona that I will go to. It's clean, great price and fun!  The rooms have mini kitchenettes in them which I love! The indoor pool is so nice especially with Florida weather being so unpredictable. The tiki bar was never open on my three past visits! The outdoor pool is nice as well. There are so many activities, games and things to do. The location and view is perfect! Right on the beach and across from a Winn Dixie and i hop! I will be back!!! The tower rooms are cheaper but the rooms outside the outdoor pool are really nice!

The rooms were clean. The little soaps/shampoo is from Bath & Body works. Tiki bar outside by ocean.
The indoor pool was wonderful.
Do not drink the water - Do jot drink the coffee. I think the water is bad. If you must make coffee use filtered water or go across street to 711

I travel a lot but when I go to Daytona this is the only place I will ever stay. I've been going back for over 40 years.

Ok, I hate to give a one star but I have been staying here for over 10 years every fall and every spring.  This is the worst stay I've ever had.  I know it's bike week but come on.  It's just not the fact that they displace every guest for 10 days a year of for profit, I get that you need to cater to events, but they don't get to change the rules of decent humanity. Ride quietly after midnight and don't pull into a hotel full of guest and rev your motors and blast your music.  This is in addition to the fact the hotel has gone downhill.  More crap is broken than works.  The outdoor tables are covered with algae, hello, a little squirt of bleach....front desk? Do the even know what customer service Is?  Tiki bar, the night people are awesome, the day lady turns away more food business with her negative attitude, almost wanted to make me not order.  Two of the 5 gates were out of order.  Yeah for hotel security.  I even had the security tell me f**k you when I complained about the noise at 3am. Last visit, I'm done.

Where to start...

We stayed for 6 days here. The staff is very friendly, especially the cleaning ladies. They would leave us notes telling us to have a great day and to enjoy our vacation.

The free breakfast is just coffee and homemade donuts. The donuts are delicious but an actual breakfast would be better I feel.

We had an oceanfront room with a kitchenette. The kitchen area was very clean. When we first arrived the fridge leaked but was quickly fixed when we called the front desk. The bathroom was quite small and there wasn't a shower head. No power outlets near the beds.

Nice indoor pool area and the tiki bar is adorable. Easy to access the beach.

The doors to the rooms slam shut. It's very annoying, especially when you're trying to sleep. You can hear everyone's doors for about 4 rooms down.

Three of us stayed here for two nights in late March. We got a room for $135 for one night (Thursday) and $159 the second night (Friday). The hotel is a little worn/dated, but we felt like it was a decent hotel when balancing the location/price/offerings.

The Good: The hotel had a small kitchenette, we had a balcony overlooking the ocean, there were two outdoor pools and one indoor, a tiki bar where you could order lunch from the little onsite restaurant, and a gift shop. The hotel was right on the beach and was a 2 minute drive to the boardwalk area. The staff was friendly and helpful and when two others joined us, they gave us a rollaway free of charge. While I prefer a full breakfast, the free donuts, juice and coffee were nice and tasty.

The Bad: The walls/doors are pretty thin so you could hear ppl in the next room talking and the housekeepers in the morning laughing/slamming doors, the shower was pretty much the worst I've ever encountered in a hotel - horrible water pressure and temp control, the room was either too cold or muggy, the jacuzzi was packed with kids in the evening, the tiki bar got SO windy I can't believe they don't have some sort of cover the can lower (for example the bar itself has wooden doors to lower over the windows, but the area where patrons sit is just wide open to the wind) - I adding this could REALLY help improve business in the chilly/windy weather.

Overall, it was a decent clean hotel for a pretty good value for the area from what I could see. We would all return here if for a similar price/room view.

I was very impressed with this hotel! The outside is a little dated and there's minor things inside of the hotel like marks on the wall and there was no fan inside of the bathroom (talk about steamy showers) but overall it was a great room with a lot of space! There are two outdoor pools and one indoor heated pool so the pools were never crowded and they are great for when you get tired of tasting saltwater. I only ate the hotels donuts once out of our five mornings there but they were very good, I recommend the maple ones! All of the people in my group were under 18 therefore each one of us had to put down a $100 security deposit, but we had no trouble getting it back when we checked out!
