I stayed here during the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway and my time spent there was awesome. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was well maintained and exceptionally clean. Kudos to the entire staff.

We've been retired since 5/2011 and traveled extensively since time, using Choice Hotels almost exclusively.  This stay has been positively our best experience away from home.  When we arrived, ww were greeted by Fiona Lawrie, who made the usual greeting, but went far beyond to make sure we were comfortable in our choice of hotels.  She offered us cold be erages and snacks to take to our room.and followed up via a phone call within the hour, to make sure we were satisified with our accomodations.  The room was immaculate and exteremely QUIET, considering we were located along a major highway and right next door to a PepBoys Auto Center.  After an excellent night's stay, we went to breakfast.  The normal fare presented was enhanced greatly by persosal service - the entrance to the motel was blocked off and an outdoor dining area was set up for breakfast - GREAT!!.  Our server, Lynn Petruska, was cheerful and very observant to our needs.  She did a great job of tending to our needs and encouraged us to contact her with any special requests.  And as a plus, we were able to meet and greet our host, Debbie, who took some time to talk to us about our trip and destination.  When we checked out, our host, Amanda Eckhardt moved us through the process with amazing speed and a big smile,  thank you Amanda!  What a great experience - a great start to a great vacation!!!

My wife found this place off all the reviews. I would give this place a 5 star, but the floor was definitly dirty and needed to be shampooed. Other then that, the place was great. The beds were comfortable, shower was nice. The best part was breakfast. A great selection of food. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We would stay here again, but remember to wear shower shoes or sandals in your room.

We found this place to be very clean and efficient.  Rooms were clean and well-maintained.  And the area was quiet at night.  (We were there in the off-season.  I have no idea what it's like during bike week or race-week.)  The location provides easy access to a bunch of stuff: nearby dining, the beach, and the speedway itself, just to name a few obvious things.  We also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly.

I have but one comment and one criticism:

Comment: The iron is essentially chained to the ironing board.  It's a really cheap iron, but I guess they really don't want you to steal it, so it's on a very short cord.  If you do need to press something, you might want to learn a few origami skills before you get there.

Criticism: There were fees on my bill for use of the microwave and the refrigerator.  A small surcharge, but enough of one to make me a little angry.  Why?  Because there's no way to avoid it.  The appliances are in the room, therefore you've used them.  It's a pitiable business ploy to squeeze a few dollars out of one's customers while the main price-tag for the room appears "cheap" to internet sites.  Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the 'fridge.  But the surcharge is garish and unnecessary.

Having said all that, please do re-read my first paragraph here.

Quality Inn located directly across from International Speedway offers one of the better "bangs for the buck" (I paid $49 for a king bed) to be found on West International Highway just off of I-95. The service was friendly, the room sparklingly clean and the breakfast decent.

I've usually stayed at Hampton Inn, but the price is more than twice as much with little more to offer.

Absolutely top notch customer service at this hotel! I have been so pleased with their accommodations and how the staff treats the guests. Comfy beds, clean rooms, everything you want and need for a great price. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again!

Let me start out by saying that this hotel is right across from the Daytona Speedway which is convenient but raises the prices substantially during events like "bike week." One night was $350 and two days later $80. Crazy what differences in prices for the same place/accommodations. That being said I choose this hotel due to the fact that it was close to the hospital for me to take care of family there. Every other place was sold out. This place had very good ratings from Yelp so I went with them, over $500 for 2 nights. I ended up having to stay 3. No problems the first 2 nights on the 2nd floor. The 3rd night though (on the 1st floor) was a completely different story. After 3 hours of sleep I woke up very unpleasantly to a cockroach ("Palmetto bug") crawling ON MY FACE. This is NOT the way to wake up especially sleep deprived and after paying for the room. I was able to catch another glimpse of the bug to confirm that it was NOT a water bug. I packed my things and RAN from this place to sleep in my rental car. At first I got the run around... Offering me 50% off the room, "can't find the manager..." Etc. Finally they gave me the room for free. I will say that the front desk staff were very pleasant and sweet. 4 stars for the staff but overall experience is 1 star.
Thanks for the nightmares!
