Very old. The room I stayed in needs remodeling bad. Rooms are cheap so fits in with "you get what you pay for". My room did not look like these pictures.

Not bad but nothing spectacular. I do like the pool with the ocean view and that was probably what sold me on it. I was looking for something moderately priced , I didn't want to stay in one of the dive Roach Motels down the road, but I didn't feel like spending my whole paycheck on a room either , so I found this place. As someone else mentioned, you get what you pay for. It was clean, but you can tell they've cut corners in some places not painted some places that need painted, broken lamp etc. But hey, I'm fine with that if it saves me an extra 30 bucks compared to somewhere else.

Don't do it! We saw this on Groupon and planned a weekend getaway to surprise my dad for his birthday. I was researching different hotels in the Daytona area, and was a bit confused since this hotel seemed to have both good and bad reviews. But if I can save at least one person from wasting their time, then my review would be totally worth it. First of all, their customer service is horrendous. How can these people be in business? We reserved a room for five, and when we walked into the room we realized that there were only two double beds. When we came down to the lobby to inquire about where the fifth person was supposed to sleep, he just shrugged his shoulders! He then, informed us that although we made a reservation for five, if we wanted a fifth person, he would charge us extra for a roll-away bed. I have no idea where the roll-away bed would have fit as the room was so incredibly small.
Also, there was no way I was going to pay one more penny for this filthy room. The minute you open the door to the room, you are welcomed by a repulsive urine smell. I involuntarily started gagging. The "white" towels were gray from the dirt. The bed sheets were so dirty. They even had holes in them! There was a toddler running around the parking lot unsupervised. The people that live there stare you down when you get out of your car. It felt very unsafe.
There are much better places to stay at right on the beach. Get your hard-earned money and go elsewhere. The other places we checked in the area that were terrible as well are Sun Viking Lodge and the Hawaiian Inn. We ended up staying at Shoreline All Suites Inn & Cabana Colony Cottages. That place was just awesome!!!

it's fair for the price we paid, the spot directly at the ocean is great. and it's not spotted on main street! we didn't use the pool, because the sea was more attractive. breakfast was more and better than we'd expect.
room was clean, bathroom too. but there was a little smell...

This is a motel not a hotel. This is a place you just show up to rather than making a reservation. This was a last minute thing for us and they gave us an option between $79 for a room facing the parking lot or a $99 room facing the beach less than 100 feet away. Two double beds, a shower, a tv, refrigerator, microwave and a balcony. It neighbors a great restaurant. If you come to the beach to sit in the comfortable hotel room to watch tv, this is not the place for you. This is a place to come sleep at between fun at the bars, beaches, and restaurants.

Let's start by saying this is not a Hotel...this is a nice, clean water side Motel! Very small room and bathroom. The room was equipped with small fridge, microwave and stove.
The place is old and in need of paint and updates. Breakfast was okay, just a few options (cereal, bagel, danish, coffee) all pre packaged.
It is at a good location, walking distance from the Daytona Beach Pier, restaurants and bars.
Overall not horrible, clean room and the staff was friendly. if you are looking for somewhere to rest your head and keep going then Roomba is okay for that.

Roomba was not bad for the price we paid to stay here. Two friends and I came down for a small week vacation and between us paid $160 a night. We had no idea it was spring break so we are grateful to get a hotel with beach access at this time.
However, the service is terrible. We have only gotten 2 towels a day with 4 wash cloths and 1 floor towel. Again, I've said there is three of us, so that amount of towels doesn't work. Even after calling the front desk repeatedly we either had to wait hour(s) to get one towel or didn't receive them at all. Our beds were not made at all, and trash was rarely taken out, half the time I had to put it out our door and it wouldn't get taken till next the day. Granted I know they have certain times to clean the rooms and are probably dealing with a lot for spring break college kids. Also, when we checked in, we were told we need to pay $63 and some change to park for the week, which was never stated when purchasing the room.
I will say though, the one day we had Renee come to our room and she was the sweetest person, gave us garbage bags made sure we didn't need makeup wipes or shampoo, and even made sure we had about 6 towels.
Overall definitely not a bad place to stay in Daytona. A little far from the night club scene but right on the beach!
