We spent 3 nights here and it couldn't have been any better! The property is beautiful with two pools one includes a large water slide it also has a hot tub and work out facility equipped with a sauna. The rooms are nice and comfortable with layouts to fit any family needs. The staff here is friendly and more than willing to help in anyway! Next time we take a trip to Daytona beach, Fl we will definatly be staying here again. Thank you Sun Viking Lodge for an incredible stay!

Best Family Resort!
We have been coming here for several years now and plan on making at least one stay here each year until something significantly changes. We love the fact that this place is focused around families. You can't even book a room if you are under 25. There are so many more amenities that included here than anywhere else. My kids look forward to all the activities like bingo and the scavenger hunt. They have had someone come out a do balloon animals and hair braids.
The rooms are standard with most having kitchenettes. There are rooms in the tall 6 story building or the long 2 story building or cottages across the street. It feels like this place is always trying to improve things and keep things nice.
The 60 foot water slide on the outside pool is the best. And if it is storming and pouring outside, then we head to the inside pool (it has a very tropical look). The hot tub is ok, some times it is hotter than other times.
On Friday and Saturday when the place is booked parking can be difficult and I have had to park across the street, but only because we brought 2 cars. The staff has remained the same for as long as we have been coming and so they kinda remember us. I talk to many guests and some have been coming for about 10 years now. This place must be doing something right to get that kind of repeat customer from out of state.
All and all I would tell anyone looking to check this place out.

Great little hotel in a perfect spot. We stayed here for a night after a cruise vacation. After straying for one night, we decided to plan a family vacation here next summer. Great pool area, close to the beach and town, amazing staff. Beds were surprising comfortable. Only complaint is the size of the showers. Little on the small side but other then that would recommended to friends and family.

We stayed here during a recent trip to Bike Week. We enjoyed an ocean view room on the 6th floor. The room was neat and clean, The maids do a good job here. this is an older hotel, but very well maintained. It`s family owned, and one can see there pride of ownership. It`s right on the beach and the sand is so so soft. They even have a little kitchen by the pool for breakfast and lunch. A hot tub and even a little water slide are there too. I gave the owner some kudos upon our departure. This place is rock solid folks.

We loved everything about this Hotel, the pools where great the price was great and to top it off there was the awesome water slide basketball hoop and hot spa, outdoor indoor pool, a great place for snacks.. Kids movies in the yard facing the ocean at night. Great ocean view for dusk n dawn. We will for sure be back when we hit Daytona Beach again...
Out of all the hotels I have been in with other places like myrtle beach this is the best yet..
