This was one of those stays that was so bad it became laughable.  No air conditioning -- despite several calls and "maintenance" visits.  Isn't there some law in Florida about this?  We were told to keep our drapes closed -- great just why I wanted an ocean view.  The room wasn't cleaned until almost 7 pm (one of my pet peeves), and then we barely had enough towels, so I had to go down to the fitness center and pool to get more,   The breakfast buffet was remindful of the free treats at an airline club room but was hardly free.  I had an incredible hassle at first checking in -- I was guaranteed an ocean facing room and even clarified that with the desk clerk -- and found myself in a room overlooking the HVAC system and parking lot -- and paying a premium as well.  Some computer snafu that two hours later was straightened out and as it turned out, was worth the wait.  This hotel is right across the street from the beach.  And the view is fantastic. There's a little cabana bar down by the pool, with a wonderful bartender, that was the highlight of my visit -- okay this hotel stay drove me to drink!   The parking was pricey but the valets were fast and courteous, one saving grace.  Even so, I noticed a W Hotel just a few blocks north...so even after resolution of my complaints to Marriott I would not recommend this hotel or stay there again.

Excellent location and view. Too bad they only have valet parking at the ridiculous  rate of $28 a day. It would be nice if excessive extra charges were advertised. Other than that, nice place.

    Thank God for this place..!!
They made room for us here after having to check out of a dump down the street
    (SEa Club Resort).
Andrew at the front desk was very nice. Told him our problem, being here for a week & now nowhere to stay.
He then went to getthe Manager Lillian. She was able to get us in for the week.
Thank God she saved our week of vacation..Will def stay here from now on.

I came down here for diver certification and have to say the location is ideal - it's literally within a stone's throw of the dive shop - and located right on the beach. They offer a special rate for divers.
The rooms are simple but clean.

This is the best Courtyard in the country and not because it's on the beach and by great restaurants and in beautiful Ft Lauderdale. It's because the employees are awesome. From the valet to the desk to the gal cleaning the inside of the elevators. Everyone seems happy and they aren't afraid to show it. I get so tired of that hotel stoic attitude. This hotel is THE hotel to stay at. Did I just say that about a Marriott property?

    Clean rooms
    Cold Airconditioning
    Friendly staff
    Good Breakfast buffet
    Soft Bed
Great blackout curtains to sleep off the previous nights festivities

    My only issues:
never completely stock towels and shampoos etc.  We had to call the front desk three times to obtain stuff the housekeeping did not leave

    Elevators are extremely slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

internet connection is Very Slow too!!

Good spot though ask for rooms 1224 or 1217 They have the best views

Not a bad hotel.  Comfy bed, clean, nice room, great amenities (including a nice flat screen), no problems at check-in, and it's right on the beach near a lot of bars and restaurants.

    My complaints are:
    1) The wireless internet sucks, and the ethernet line was not noticeably better.  Barely fast enough to do anything, and Maker help you if you want to download podcasts on iTunes or watch a Youtube clip (let alone a Netflix on the internet).
    2) My job got me the room, and requested for me a high floor and a beach view, so I would not be bothered by traffic and enjoy a nice view.  Got neither (though I did get a decent view of the canals of Las Ojas) and considering the convention in town it was impossible to get another room.
    3) No free breakfast...  And their breakfast buffet, which was mediocre, was almost $16.  And not a lot of great options within walking distance.
    4) Well, if you don't mind the pipes that lead into the air conditioning unit rattling and making all sorts of noises at 3 or 4 am...  This place is definitely for you.

Overall, just a big bowl of OK...  The only thing this place has going for it is the location.

Am a frequent Marriott guest, but this was my least favorite by far.  Let me start off with the pros which were few:

View from room was fantastic.  Oceanfront means just that and it was!
Staff was very attentive to issues and Veronica at front desk even took $30 off bill when I told her.

    Cons:

Free wireless internet was so slow I though I had a dial up connection.  Made use very frustrating.
No self parking only valet at $28/day or $15/ day parking across the street,  come on guys...get with the program.  Also Sat night and Sunday check out was insane.  Had to leave and come back they were so backed up.
Drinks at Tiki bar ridiculously expensive.  Don't they know they already gouging us with the nightly rate and valet.
Room had no microwave which is unheard of these days.
Elevators were continuously out of order which made checking out a joke.
Rooms did not have towels on arrival.
More a preference than anything else:  rooms had no balcony and lobby did not offer coffee 24/7 in the lobby as most Marriotts do.

This was certainly a disappointment as was staying on Ft. Lauderdale Beach as evidenced by my reviews at two other places.  Back to Delrey Beach next time!

This frenetic hotel on the beach has been upgraded nicely. mini suite rooms with two flat screen TVs, nice views and all the amenities including a fridge, microwave, iron, newer everything except, the most important item: THE BED!! We had a spring loaded nightmare that squeaked and jerked and rumpled and whined. Amazingly terrible since everything else was so well done.

The breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of choices, healthy and otherwise.

Most rooms have nice views. The lobby gets messy and cramped when crowded.

    Location, Location, Location.

This hotel is directly across the street from the beach and is within walking distance from all the restaurant/bars on Las Olas.  It's also a short cab ride from Riverfront.

Ive stayed here many times, and its always clean and the staff is very helpful.

Awesome location; fair prices (I was there in February, i.e., high season); close to everything..... my room was very large - had mini-fridge & microwave.  Valet parking is always a plus for me!

It is not "right on the beach" (very little in Ft. Lauderdale area is)... but it is directly across the street.  Bars, restaurants, the marina, etc. are within a block or two....

The valet guys were so nice; front desk/check-in was professional.  I will definitely return when I'm back in town on business.....

Nice hotel, convenient to the beach, cruise ships and such.  They have a pool with a bar and a nice patio for sunning if you didn't want to walk across the street to the beach.  At least on the patio you don't have to pay for the lounger as you do on the beach!

Great location, great room, and by the beach!

That's what I like about staying here. This was next door to a great restaurant, Coconuts and across the street from the International Swimming Hall of Fame. Also, across the street from the beach.

What was not so great was the pool, it is really small. The sundeck is a nice feature with all the lounge chairs but OMG, the sundeck was right above the Bubba Gump restaurant. Just think about, all the fumes of fried seafood and ribs in the air while you are trying to get a tan. Also, beach towels desk doesn't have too many towels on hand. One time, we had to wait for the maid to bring out new ones. You are better off bringing your own beach towels. Housekeeping did not get clean our room til much later in the afternoon. It was annoying to come back after a couple of hours in the day to still find our room not clean. Valet staff and concierge were friendly and attentive. If you are looking for that large beach resort feeling, this is not it. This hotel is more for that weekend getaway for the beach and easy access to be located on the blvd.

This place is so unhelpful, and unaccommodating. They said we would have a pullout sofa bed and when we checked in they said they didn't have any and I couldn't do a roll away because there wasn't enough room and forced us to purchase another room. There was plenty of room in our room for a roll away bed. We saw rats by the pool twice, Human feces by the pool, and other disturbing things. The maid wouldn't change our sheets when we asked and just put some out for us to put on ourselves. There were no washrags in our room, and the water out of the faucet is bright yellow. No free parking, it's $15/night. No continental breakfast, and drinks were expensive. The staff was rude, and unhelpful. We left bottle water out by the pool that we purchased from the hotel and went in for a second, came out and it was gone, and they forced us to buy new ones although those had never been opened and we were the only ones by the pool so I'm sure they knew they belonged to us when we called 2 minutes later. Just a terrible place. The only thing that was nice was the close beach access.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a week and will say I would certainly stay here again.  The property is great, the beach is pretty much the hotel's backyard, and the staff is wonderful.  This does seem to be an older property but had none of the inconveniences that come along with that... It has been quite well-maintained.

The best part about this place is the location... Tons of bars and restaurants in walking distance, 30 minutes to Miami, and an hour to West Palm Beach.  This place is great!

We had the opportunity to stay her for a long weekend and had a great time.  It's a great location in Fort Lauderdale Beach and it has everything you need for a great time away from home.

Staff:   Check in was fast and efficient.  The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.  When there were no towels by the pool and nobody out there (it was early in the morning), the staff at the restaurant had someone come up with towels in a matter of minutes!  The lady at the tour desk was very nice and helped us with the water taxi, too.

Facilities:   Building is in pretty good shape.  Our room was spacious, well appointed and clean.  Bed was very comfortable.  We had a little sitting area which had a nice ocean view.  We had two flat screen tv's in the room.  Bathroom was very large and I liked the toiletries.  Everything was very clean.

Restaurant in the hotel was fine for breakfast.  Your standard buffet offerings at a reasonable price.  The gym was small but nice and had all the equipment I needed for a workout.  They offer valet parking and I think it was about $18 per night, but there was a lot right beside the hotel where you could park overnight with in/out privileges for $15.

Highlights:   Location is great.  With the beach right across the street, you can't go wrong!  Additionally, there are tons of restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel.  Water taxi is a five minute walk away and that opens up much more of Fort Lauderdale.   Internet was free, but we have Marriott points so not sure if it's free for everyone.

Areas for improvement:  Would be nice if parking were a little cheaper, but overall I can't complain about anything.

Overall impression:  I think this is an affordable, clean and comfortable place in a great location.  If you want to relax and hang out at the pool, you can do that, or you can hit the Fort Lauderdale Beach strip and visit the nearby bars and restaurants.

Nearby transportation: Water taxi is nearby.  If you're staying in Fort Lauderdale Beach, you probably don't need a car.

Loud music next to hotel goes until 11pm so don't plan on sleeping early.   Water views are not what you would think - most require you to look awkwardly out of your window.

Rooms aren't terrible, but the overall hotel seems like something stuck in the 60-70s.   Needs updating!    Elevator is annoyingly slow and halls are confusing.

We got a good price and it was pre-cruse so we tolerated it, but won't stay again.

Decent place nearby could possibly have earned it a 3 star rating.    A 7-11 within walking distance will help you stock up on supplies if necessary.

They are also notoriously bad about having rooms available.   Plan on it being afternoon before you get a room.   This makes it a terrible post-cruise place to stay.

Although they were able to check us in early after we got back from our cruise, it was the only thing that seemed to be a bonus about this hotel.  It certainly isn't a 4 star.  The rooms are comfortable & clean, the location is nice on the beach & when we needed assistance from staff, they tried to be helpful.  The elevators are painfully slow & at time 2 out of the 3 didn't work.  Our next stay in the area will be somewhere else for sure.

3 1/2 - 4 stars. Rooms are nice, clean and fairly modern. Location is  good, can walk to either side of hotel to find restaurants and bars, though north (toward Beach Bunnies and Pompano) has more to offer. Great place to stay for young couples. Lots of bars nearby, but pricey (4 stars for hotel alone). Poolside bar is a nice option, but expensive (will say though, drinks were not watered down - definite plus!). Not much consistency on happy hour prices (they honored pricing I received on 12/31/13 for 1/1/14 for rum punch, nice surprise). We were here 12/29 - 1/3, never too crowded on pool deck area (though a little overcast our first few days here, when sunny, it was much more crowded). Breakfast buffet is way overpriced and food is not hot or impressive and service is sub-par, bordering on rude, (we only ate there to wait out a quick storm). We definitely recommend venturing a block or two away for similar food and you can enjoy a mimosa with (your hotter) breakfast, for the same check price (aka, go to Beach Bunnies). Would return for convenience and quality, overall for the hotel.

This Courtyard by Marriott is nicely situated between the beach and the boat harbor. You can sun out on the sand, or enjoy your drink out on the sundeck patio and look at the large boats in their slips.

You'll pay around $220 in the peak season, which is the winter months, and as low as $139 in the summer months.

Courtyard is in the process of redsigning and remodeling their chain of properties, to update them from their original 1970's boxy layout design, to something more like the casual open lounge style of Hyatt Place and Aloft.

I arrived a little early so they didn't have my room available.  They did offer to hold my bags while I went to lunch to give them time to get my room ready.  When I returned I had a pleasant check in experience and went up to my room.

One negative of the hotel is that the elevator is super slooooooooooow!  It takes forever.  I had upgraded to an ocean side suite, but it was a side view that you had to really look, but you could see it.  I personally don't really call that an ocean view, but the room was nice.  It was a little bigger than the average room, but calling it a suite might be over doing it a bit.

The location of the hotel is one of the keys.  You walk across the street and you are on the beach.  Can't ask for much more than that.

The hotel didn't offer transportation from the airport, but the did offer a ride to the airport.  The cab was $27.00 ride (included tip) and it was like $5.00 for the ride back because we had a couple people.  Added a $5.00 tip for the drivers, so you can say $10.

All and all it was a good experience, I earned some Marriott points so all and all a good business trip.

We booked a weekend with this hotel for our wedding guest and for our first night as husband and wife. The Marriott Courtyard on Ft Lauderdale Beach was clean, smelled amazing, had good customer service, great bed, and the rooms were amazing (spacious and decorations too)! We got upgraded to a suite on the top floor which had beach front views...amazing to look out in the morning and at sunset! Thank you for a great experience!

Great location with easy access to the beach across the street. Standard room comes with a separate bedroom and living space that can be closed off with pocket doors. Clean and friendly staff. We also got free breakfast with our night stay when booked through Marriott.com . Valet is a bit pricey for a courtyard at $24/night.

CONS: room 507 ac would not budge from 74 degrees. There is a huge gap between the floor and the door and the light shines thru. The smoke detector constantly clocks for some reason. The carpet is a turn off in the room. Parking is $29-a bit steep.
PROS: room 507 has a view of the pool, A1A and the ocean. Clean. Eat at xox it's across the street and get the scoobies!

Only stood here one night and I wish I would have spent $200 somewhere else.

So I got here on time and checked in. When I got to my room, it was unlocked and filthy....yup, it was still being cleaned.

I calmly went to the front desk (I was on vacay so I wasn't trying to get upset at all) and informed them of this error. They responded with an apology and a beach front upgrade.
His exact words were, " I'm sorry about that Mr. Tempro, We'll have to upgrade you to the beach front room. We hope that this will make your stay a little more enjoyable".

The view was great, room service was prompt, the staff was friendly (but not the creepy friendly), and breakfast was delicious. I will deff be back.

I have been staying here almost every year for a conference ($450/night), but I must say the hotel is showing age really bad lately.
I remember right after they renovated, but all cleanness is is long gone now. What's left is worn out carpet and mold on wall.

Staff is nice but chances of front desk picking up a call is 40/60. Bubba gump downstairs "provide room service", but they never pick up a call so room service never actually exists here.

For $450/night you are paying for just the view. But hey, you could be a hobo on the beach and watch the same view for free - which one sounds better?

-Literally steps away from the beach if you go out the back of the hotel
    -Reasonable breakfast prices

I had a two night stay during Memorial Day weekend and this hotel was right in the thick of  Fort Lauderdale hubbub .
The good- location to beach and beach itself were wonderful.  I woke up at 9 and floated in the calm sea for an hour and half and it was empty and beautiful.  The staff were nice.  The room and bathroom was clean enough and it was a nice size.  Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.  Views. My bed was comfortable and ac worked well.  Free wifi.
The not so good- the pool is
small and seemed old, the beach bar was really a pool bar and not on the beach. Some nice staff (Paula). And some not so nice.  No room service except for breakfast. The  pool  bar stops serving food pretty early. Expensive parking.

I didn't try their breakfast because I thought the 17.00 buffet was expensive but went to a breakfast place next door which was great.  They are renovating , so hopefully there will be a new pool.

All in all, a fine stay

The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because my stay isn't over. First thing I must say is that the view is amazing.  View from a hotel in room usually isn't important for me, however this one is jaw dropping. We stayed on the top floor . The room gives a panoramic view of the city. 8 -10 floor to ceiling windows. Need I say more.

Have you ever seen one of those two-way doors before? This type of door connects your room to the one adjacent with locks on either side. This might indeed prove handy, if say, your children were located in the neighboring room and you wanted to keep close tabs on them. What we discovered, however, is that this door is not so practical when there are complete strangers on the other side. I don't know exactly what material is used to construct these doors, though I doubt seriously any consideration was given at all to the element of 'sound proofing'. In addition to having our neighbor's wild parties broadcast into our room via what I would describe as "surround sound", we were also verbal witnesses to numerous sexual tirades and the accompanying pillow talk that is typically associated with such extra curriculum activity. When I finally did see our neighbors for the first time after three days into our visit, I felt like I already knew them. Thankfully I resisted the urge to give him a high-five and give her a wink. My advice to anyone staying in this hotel is to explicitly request a room without one of these doors.. unless you're creepy.. in which case, have at it.

No high chairs?!?!? Crazy. But they had pack n plays.
Had to call over an hour for room service--- finally called front desk and they had them call me.

While it was nice that the rooms were recently renovated ours reeked of paint. The water in the shower never got past luke warm and they only provided decaf coffee with the coffee machine. First World problems, I know. I just feel like I could have stayed at a Best Western for half the price. At least there I expect the small annoyances. The proximity to the beach was great though. Lots of close restaurant options within walking distance.

Location is everything!  Hotel is right across the street from the beach.

    Staff was friendly.

Rooms were marginally clean.  Found hairs in the bathtub (not mine!).  Rest of the room had the usual dust from a surface cleaning.  Room was definitely a "keep your socks/shoes on" kinda place.

Mix of business travelers and families.

Doubt I would stay here again.  There are plenty of other hotels for the price point in the area.

Stayed here for a 2 day business trip.  Rooms looked very well remodeled compared to the rest of the hotel.  Very clean and had a mini sitting area with a side view of the ocean.  Also, room had thermostat which turned off the fan when the system was not running - big plus for me because it's a major peeve to have the fan blowing constantly in your face when sleeping.  Their small cafe/bar called the Bistro serves a really good BBQ chicken flatbread and super nice server named Ashley.  Pool outside is very small and uninviting but not really a big deal since the beach is so close. Additional features - mini fridge and 2 TVs, the second TV right in front of the work desk which was pretty cool to work and watch TV at the same time.  I would probably give it 3.5 stars if I could but I could not justify 4 stars based on the $239/night base room charge, small elevators, and dated look for the rest of the hotel.

I usually don't write reviews only on the first DAY of a stay, but I have to write about this wonderful location!

I came to the Courtyard for an event held over the weekend. The moment I drove up in my vehicle, the staff treated me like a VIP, explaining the parking situation and where to go for check-in. I entered the lobby and was greeted by the same friendly staff inside as it was in the valet area! First impressions are everything, and this place hit it right out the park!

The room - VERY NICE! I was on the 12th floor of this property, and had a perfect view of the activity on the street and at the beach. There are TONS of shops and restaurants close by, and I took advantage of that, and the buffet downstairs. The fitness center was good to keep up my losing weight progress, and walking along the beach was beautiful!

I am definitely a fan of this location, and will make this my home whenever I return to Fort Lauderdale (hopefully soon!).

Ok place to stay.  Great location across from the beach.  The pool could use some help.  One note, the elevators here are an actual issue.  Wait times extended to over 10 minutes during the day.

This hotel just underwent a major renovation.  Nice exterior paint job and all new interior.  Right across the street from the beach, International Swimming Hall of Fame pool and access to excellent restaurants.

    Pros:
    - convenient location - right across from the beach.
    - close to shops, restaurants, nightlife on A1A
    - rooms comfortable & clean
    - concierge very helpful and accommodating

    Cons
    - Pool area - pool is in the shade most of the day
    - chairs at pool seemed older - several were broken or ripped
    - pool bar has awful/slow service - bartenders can't seem to handle it if it's over 3 people
    - cafe in hotel - good food,  people working there very nice - not the fastest service had long waits if ordered food.

I wouldn't stay here again -well, if you paid me. OK, yeah, it's "clean" and there are ocean views from select views but that ain't enough.

The elevators take absolutely forever, the rooms are a bit run down, the bathroom was tiny, it is a nightmare to get a cab in the morning because everyone is leaving to go to the cruise ships at the same time and the restaurant hostess was so incredibly rude I couldn't believe it. There are nice Courtyards and then there is this type of Courtyard...

Sorry for the short review but I can only muster a "look elsewhere." Oh, and there are two restaurants directly across the street where you can walk for dinner. The front desk will tell you that you don't need a reservation...but you do...unless you want to wait an hour or more.

Rooms were fine.  Staff were lovely.   I love that there is a starbucks right next to the pool that is reasonably priced...it's one of the few in the area!

    Overall sleep quality was fine.

The only thing missing from this building is a balcony or a window to open.  I find the weather in Ft Lauderdale superb and love having the breeze.  But, alas, I am not here to hang out in the room.  So I went to the pool and beach!  problem solved.

What's nice about this courtyard Marriott is that it is steps away from the beach and there is not a resort fee or more than $200 a night. Also, the front desk is friendly and called my room to make sure I was okay. Free wifi!

Those are the nicest things I can say about the hotel. I paid for a room with a water view but was given a room with a view of the parking lot. WOMP, WOMP. My room was next to the elevator and was super noisy (no good for the stressed out business traveller). Inside had a living room area but the couch looked saggy and worn out. WOMP, WOMP.

It rained while I was here and the 'dingy looking' pool or beach weren't an option. The tv stations had no signal on most channels, even after the rain passed. No channel list in the room (standard for hotel chains). The staff was texting or watching tv when I needed help at the restaurant and made absolutely no effort to be social. Even the channel at the bar was in Spanish...it felt like I was crashing their hang out spot. Later I bought some microwaveable snack and since there aren't microwaves in the rooms, I had the privilege of using the crusty community microwave, which had some burnt pasta thingy stuck to the micro floor. WOMP, WOMP.

Valet is the only parking option. Pay up! What's worse is that it is kind of obvious it's just another way to force guests to into a fee (with tipping) in an area where the valet isn't even needed. Remember when I said I had a view of the parking lot? Plenty of empty spots. WOMP, WOMP.

Remodeled!! There's nothing like remodeling a property to give it a fresh new look, AND smell to keep guests coming back. This Courtyard #Marriott has been recently remodeled. All rooms have an updated contemporary look. My room had sliding doors to divide the bedroom from a sitting area. Nice for late-night TV viewing.

Beds are comfortable and the shower is hot - all expected services but sometimes not there at other hotels.

Ocean Views! This property has oceanview's and is adjacent to A1A, the road that runs along the ocean. (Some are partial views)

The #Marriott staff is friendly and greets me each time I come and go, housekeepers included.
Nice experience @ below resort prices. Four stars!

First of all, I am a top tier member of Marriott's Rewards program and have noticed lately the formerly free upgrades have started to become few and far between. Not so at the Courtyard ... and that means a lot to me. They upgraded me to a suite with a great view of both the ocean and the intercoastal waterway.

In fact, Marriott had 'sold out' all of its points stays at both The Ritz Carlton and The Courtyard and when I called both properties, The Courtyard told me it was no problem and actually booked me on points even though they were sold out.

The rooms here are great ... beds are comfortable, the A/C and heat works well. There was one of the most comfortable couches ever in the living room area ... sliding doors that separate the two areas. The floor to ceiling windows were fantastic to watch the ocean with. Everything in the room was comfortable and clean and new.

The bathroom has a great marble shower with a glass door and is pretty spacious.

Really, I could find no fault with this hotel. They checked me in early ... gave me an hour late check out. (even though technically top members should get a 2 p.m. checkout) They checked my bags, called me cabs when I needed them and the staff was ALL friendly and competent. I have stayed at the Ritz Carlton next door on occasion and honestly, the Courtyard matched or exceeded the Ritz for customer service.

The pool/lounge area is a bit rough ... but there is a cool tiki bar area. Wish they gave a free breakfast/coffee like most Marriott hotels. But we had pastries and coffee from the breakfast bar and it was about $15 for both of us to have a light breakfast and coffee, which wasn't terrible.

I have to stay, I was very impressed with my second stay at the Courtyard. I feel that they really went out of their way to make my stay great from booking to checking out. Everything is clean and new feeling and the staff is great. Can't ask for much better.

    Pros
I loved the location. So close to the beach and many food options.
Good price. We used priceline and got a great deal, so for that, I can't complain too much.
Updated. The hotel itself is nice - as in the common spaces were clean and the furniture was nice. Our room, too, had an updated feel.

    Cons
The pool area needs to be updated.
The staff is generally rude or aloof.  I was carrying many heavy bags and could not get through the doorway of the pool area to the hotel because a staff person was vacuuming. She would not move and another employee had to help me - but simultaneously apologized to the staff member and not to me. Very strange.
Food mediocre at hotel restaurant. I ate from the restaurant and asked for crushed red pepper for my pizza. They said there was a $1.50 up-charge for that. Crazy! It took about 20 minutes to get the crushed red pepper.
Room not really clean. The room was fine for what we paid but very dusty and the remote control was being held together (the battery door) by a band-aid. Yes, a bright purple band-aid. Gross.

I have to say we were more than pleasantly surprised with this hotel.  We booked it on a whim, completely last minute as one of our few options.

The check-in process was smooth and quick, despite the hundreds of people checking in on that same day (big event on the beach).  We were given a corner room on the 6th floor with views of the Atlantic as well as the Intercoastal...wow!  Two of the four walls were floor to ceiling glass.  The room was extremely clean and nicely decorated.  Great size too.  It also had a small refrigerator which was very convenient.

Dining options were better than expected as well.  There is a small café which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner consisting of gourmet sandwiches and salads.  They offer Starbucks as well - big plus!

The location of this hotel could not be better.  You are within walking distance to tons of restaurants, beach bars and just across the beach.

    Highly recommend.
