    we got here on a Tuesday and staying 3 nights. we had a nice surprise tues- they do manager greetings with free wine and wings. it was a nice treat! on weds- they had a promotion in the lobby with free cheese/crackers and you can spin a wheel for a prize- we won 1000 Marriott reward points! the hotel itself is a 10-15 min drive from the good beach area but worth it for the price if you have a car because it's got free parking which is always a plus. the rooms are standard with turn down service. free wi-fi in the rooms if you care about that. that's always good for us since we can't ever be too far from a high-speed connection. great value, solid experience. definitely would come back if looking for a place to stay.

    Being a Mariott with three and a half stars, we expected a certain level of service, cleanliness and quality. We got out of the car and nobody was outside. The garage was filthy, and as we entered the hotel, nobody was there to greet us. Finally, someone comes out, gives us the keys, and asks if it is our first time here. Upon saying yes, the hostess explains that there is free internet and parking, and that our room is on the fourth floor, with no direction about the parking lot, our room and the hotel restaurant. We get up to the room, open it and on the surface looks very nice and clean, until I set my Ipad on the top of the fridge, before realizing there is a sticky film on top. Luckily, my ipad did not get dirty. Also the door frame was damaged. The carpet is frayed and tattered, and when we went out to find directions to the beach, only one person was out working with a long line waiting for her, and nobody was at the concierge desk (which was separate). To find a map to the beach, I had to reach over the desk to take a pamphlet for the area, since in the room, there was no guide book to the Fort Lauderdale area. When we returned to the room, we wanted to order room service, but there was no activity book or menu, and no TV channel guide or anything like it in the room. I called the front desk, where someone picled up after the eleventh ring. They apologized and said they would bring up a menu and channel guide. After 15 minutes, I was about to call back, but decided to write this review first. Worst Mariott ever for me, so far. After waiting half an hour, the TV guide and menu were finally brought to my room, though the TV guide was simply a printed paper, and the TV doesn't even have AMC. Also, the menu was very tattered.

    I lived at this Marriott for the past three months (early 2011) so I feel qualified to offer a review. If your work or pleasure takes you to inland Fort Lauderdale, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location. It's right next to I95 and merely 5 miles from the ocean, which is visible from the upper floors. The pool, hot tub and fitness center are modern and resortey. Regardless of whether or not you have car, decent chain restaurants (like Longhorn Steakhouse, Champps and even Hooters) a large fitness center, an Office Depot and even a movie theater are close by. The rooms are typical of a full service Marriott. Marriott seems to always get the bed right and this location was no exception. I love the LCD TV with the port control center. Every room I used had audio and VGA cords in the cabinet so I could hook up my laptop to the TV to use as an extra screen and to play music through. The views are decent here, especially on the upper floors. This property is adjacent to two small wildlife preserves you can walk through on an elevated boardwalk. The restaurant is excellent, though the atmosphere is boring. But the food there has always been excellent. The blackened Mahi Mahi and Mohito Pork with rice and friend plantain dishes were my favorites. I recommend opting for concierge level access so you can enjoy a breakfast buffet on the 15th floor. You'll also have access to sodas and water and snacks until 10 PM as well as a hard connection for internet, which you may need. The only significant problem I've had with this Marriott is the internet connection, which may be a deal breaker for some. The wireless internet in the rooms is sometimes good and sometimes AWFUL. Complaints fell on deaf ears and my team and I even gave business to other hotels in the area just for this reason. If that's an acceptable risk to you, concierge level gives you the hard-wire option as a backup plan, if you don't mind working in the concierge lounge. Lastly, I was a little disappointed the staff never bothered to try and remember me and make me feel special every time I checked in. I think that was a missed opportunity, but ultimately not critical to my needs.

    Would I stay again? Absolutely. Except for the internet connection, this is a solid choice.

    I have spent several days here on several occasions and i must say i have enjoyed the experience. The rooms are nice, the restaurant is nice, they offer free wifi(very slow sometimes), and the gym and pool area is really nice. Another plus about this location is the fact that you have Regal cinemas, and several restaraunts right across the street. The only bad things about this location is the distance from the coast. If you dont have a vehicle you will be isolated from everything except for the shops across the street. Other than that, i would recommend staying here.

    Seemed a bit out of date.  Had little spiders crawling on my shaving kit.  Bed was clean, didnt have feather pillows which I prefer, and the morning breakfast was not so good (ordered eggs-benedict - and they didnt even toast the muffin - making it a soggy mess).

    Customer service here is absolutely impeccable. This is an older Marriott and it needs a remodel bad. The room smelled musty, the shower did not drain, outlets in the bathroom did not work and the elevators smelled like an automotive shop. Wasn't bad for just a night stay, probably will stay at another Marriott next time.

    Forget all the other reviews about the beds, and the location, and amenities.  The Potato Salad with the deli plate on the late night menu is nothing short of perfection.

    I may have had a few drinks, I may have had a long day on a business trip, but ignore the crap pillows, and the isolation, and enjoy the shit out of the beautiful meshing of mayonnaise, potatoes, salt, carrots, vinegar, and some other crap I can't recognize that comprises the potato salad that comes with the $8 deli plate after 11 p.m.

    Effen fantastic an nothing more.

    As always, this review would be five stars if everything outside of the potato salad was above average.

    Alas, it is not.

    The room was clean, and nice enough, but the shower was lukewarm at best and when I turned on the tv some channels didn't work.  That made it hard to watch the Angels/Rangers game on ESPN.

    Marriott, you know me well.  The reason I am reviewing this Marriott is the fact that as opposed to other full service Marriott hotels, this Marriot gives the weary business traveler free Wi-Fi!!!

    Atmosphere - A hotel in a Business Park w/ easy drive to the beach.  Others utilize their meeting rooms frequently, so expect a lot of people scurrying about.

    Rooms - My room was bomb-digitty w/ a LG (Lucky Goldstar for those who do not know) LCD television, comfy beds, travertine tile...and did I mention free Wi-Fi?  Downside, room serve menu choices were a little lame.

    Fitness room - Located on the 4th floor and near the pool, this room had great fitness gear w/ televisions mounted to each piece of gym equipment.  The quality of this equipment was better than the equipment at a Marriott Resort I recently stayed at.

    Overall - Although the exterior is nothing to brag about, this Marriott makes me want to convert to Mormonism to be just like J.W. himself.

    Good rooms but... We were here for a party with a group and when we called for their "late night room service" we were told they ran out of everything but salad.   Are you kidding me?   I asked if they were serious and was told there is a food place around the corner that could deliver but would take close to an hour and a half to get here.    Yeah Marriott... You failed and lost major points.

    I got into this hotel very late (due to a delayed flight) so I did not get to experience much of it.  For me, one-night-and-out trip. In terms of comfort, the hotel room was fine.  Comfortable bed, A/C worked, and the shower was good.  Like other Marriotts, the room decor could use some updating.

    I'm not that familiar with this area, but the drive from the airport made it seem like this hotel was in the middle of nowhere.

    My first Marriot stay.  Check in took 15m since they only had on desk clerk.  No free breakfast or internet(must be gold or higher).  They do have free covered parking and a nice gym and pool/hot tub.  Quiet room and 4 elevators.  Add breakfast and internet and it gets a 4 star.  Gave front desk a tax exempt form and got the bill with taxes.  I will find a different hotel upon my next stay.

    Not bad, but definitely not good.  The rooms were clean, and appeared to be well designed.  However, the entire hotel had a musty, nursing-home smell to it.  Luckily, there was a nice breeze and opened the patio door to air it out.  Even the lobby and elevator had a lingering stench.

    As mentioned, everything appeared to look good in the rooms... but don't look too hard.  The walls had bad patch jobs, tiles were cracked and everything seemed to be broken/repaired instead of replaced.  Sure, this is a 99$ a night hotel; but c'mon Marriott...

    I'm here on business, and internet access is crucial.  First of all.. it is *NOT* free.  You get one free day, and then have to pay going forward.  Secondly, the wireless is hit or miss.  Many times it would simply freeze for 20-30 seconds at a time.  

    One of my biggest gripes is the TV system.  Not sure what they are thinking, but you have to dig around just to find 'regular' channels.  You are bombarded with porn, adult channels and video games.  There's also no 'guide' just numbers... Takes like 2-3 seconds just to switch channels.  Absolute fail.

    Location seems good, and the restaurant is solid.  I do like the parking situation...

    Wouldn't recommend this, unless you get a great deal (under 75$).

    Wasn't too keen on this location.  It had an older look and feel and hasn't been updated too much.

    The pool area was pretty nice.  It was located on a rooftop area with decent views of the surrounding area.

    I traveled for business here and thought it was okay.  It's across the street from a trailer park, but you can't choose your neighbors. It's also built near some conservation areas, which is nice for greenery.

    The hotel was clean, and the lobby was very nice.  The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable and spacious, there were LCD TVs in the rooms.  The AC in the room was hard to get comfortable temperature out of; it was either too warm or insanely cold.  I traveled with a coworker and he had a fridge and safe in his room; I had no fridge and an empty hole where the safe should have been.  

    My second night, a new family came in with a rather noisy child who shouted until about 10 pm, then woke me up the next morning at 6 am.  I was there for a class which my work sent me to, so I was not willing to accept these sorts of shenanigans and requested a new room.  When I asked for a new room, I mentioned the lack of safe and fridge, and the lady at the front desk responded "Oh, well you didn't ask for those."  She didn't make any effort to offer to get them placed in my new room or apologize, just "Yeah you didn't ask for them so tough shit."  I moved that afternoon to a new room a floor up, and guess what? No fridge, no safe.  How disappointing.  I would have thought Marriott was a little more customer oriented than that.  I didn't whine about it as it wasn't a huge deal to me, but I would have liked a safe to put my laptop in while I was in class; instead I put the do not disturb sign up so nobody came into my room.

    So, the amenities were fine, the location was okay (especially considering I was not there for pleasure and it was only a couple miles from my training room), but the service was unexpectedly apathetic.

    Last weekend after months and months of planning, a national-wide conference that some colleagues and I were planning came into being and it all unfolded at the Marriott North!

    Soo, first off I must say, they were quite accommodating for the 100 guests or so that we had staying at their hotel... Although, we had made the room reservations long in advance, everyone was spread out from the 3rd floor to the 11th floor... not how we wanted it but still no biggie...

    The hotel is clean, the front desk attendants are attentive and polite.
    The rooms were clean, spacious and yes, a very nice LG (OMG, Law and Order is even more amazing from an LG tv)

    The only things that  I have to flag were the conference rooms (not setup in a timely manner based on contract) and the room was cold! Yes, I asked a bazillion times to adjust the thermostat and the staff responded kindly but it was always just a little too cold for comfort in there!

    I think the response to our inquiries from the staff is what pushed me to a 4star review!

    Stayed there a couple of days last year for a convention, back for more this year. This place is seemingly in the middle of nowhere from a location standpoint, if you are an out of town tourist, but it is perfect, however, for meetings and conventions.

    There are plenty of good eating options around ... for a long weekend and it is easily accessible from the expressway.

    We found the rooms to be comfortable and quite spacious, the service was very good and accommodating to our group.

    As Casey mentioned, it may feel a bit isolated and despite the proximity to dining and basic shopping, you definitely need a car to get around the area.

    Spent some time there today for an expo. The service seems courteous. The bathrooms were clean. Air conditioning in the meeting rooms seemed very weak and I had a coughing attack during one speaker's seminar (dusty filters?)
    Staff seemed unaware that a conference was ocurring and the parking was iffy.

    After staying at numerous hotels just this week, i had a certain expectation of a hotel with 3.5 stars. From the moment we walked in, I was disappointed. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly, but wasn't overtly rude...more passive aggressive. The room was ok. The room had a funny smell, but the air conditioner worked and the bed was comfy. After getting settled, we checked out the menu for the restaurant downstairs. What a rip off! I expected it to be high considering it's in a hotel, but we ended up opting to order delivery from a nearby restaurant over paying to eat at the hotel. After dinner, we decided to go to the bar for a drink and people watching. I ordered a chocolate martini (had a sweet tooth!) and my husband ordered a regular vodka martini. The bartender opened the menu, looked at the ingredients for the drinks and proceeded to tell us he didn't know how to make martinis. He said he had made them once. Needless to say, we decided to not have a drink at the bar. We both slept great, and the shower the next morning was great...until I realized there was no hair dryer and the front desk was unable to deliver us one. I'm sure this is a good place to stay for a quick overnight trip if you keep your expectations low...I would opt for a different place closer to the airport.

    I accidentally booked this hotel without looking at the location :s my bad I know!!!

    But they did say that they were situated in a relaxing 6 acre park, so I wonder why my balcony overlooked a highway and a car park.  

    Don't come here for a vacation or to chill. It's far from the beach and it's kinda old looking.

    Perfect for a night stop or for a quick shag.

    Stayed two nights for a conference. Not a great location--there is a trailer park across the street, and is not a safe area for walking. No valet and getting a cab was difficult. Because of the strange location of the hotel, cabs do not drive by, the must be ordered. Anywhere decent was a $20 each way cab ride.
    Would not recommend for vacation. Rooms were adequate, not great out room was never made up. When I called the front desk around 4 pm, I was told there was a waiting list to get rooms cleaned.
    The continental breakfast had nothing but carbs: muffins, turnovers, bagels. No milk or fruit. We were seated 12 to a table and very crowded in the main ballroom.
    Disappointed overall, not a typical Marriot experience.

    I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend while in town for an event and found this hotel to be clean, nicely decorated with an eager and helpful staff. When we checked in I asked to change my room as I didn't want to be on the fourth floor with the pool and staff were kind and accommodating with this request.

    The room was clean, bright and had a small balcony, which was nice. The room had all the local information I needed and the free WiFi was very helpful to get work done or look up attractions.

    We ate one meal in the on-site restaurant, which was fresh and tasty. The service was a little uncoordinated but we had adequate attention and were in and out quickly.

    The pool area is nice with places to sun and shade if the sun is a little too warm. There is a good sized gym as well, which I didn't make it to, lol.

    Our room cleaning gal was so sweet and picked up after us, arranging things in a neat and helpful manner. So nice to come back from being out to a clean and tidy room. Everyone was polite and helpful. Nice place, I'll go back.

    I had a great experience at this Marriott. I found it through hotels.com and I opted for the "Stay for Breakfast" option at $109/night for a 2-double room and breakfast for two each day of our stay (two days).

    The hotel was not hard to find, as it was located right off Exit 33B off 95. The area looks a tad sketchy, though it's not horrible. There are a couple of large shopping centers across the street, where there is a Regal movie theater, Hooters, a Longhorn steakhouse and some other chain businesses. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, a great family-oriented beach where you can just chill for the day.

    There were four of us staying in the room, which I think is really meant for two people, because we had to call guest services for extra towels and toiletries just about every day. They were really quick to bring up what we needed, though. I also got calls from guest services to make sure we got what we needed after requesting them and to make sure everything was OK in our room. Speaking of the toiletries, I was so happy to see they use the Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy line in the Energizing Citrus and Ginger scent! I hadn't seen those since my stay at a Marriott in San Antonio more than five years ago. At the time, I was so enamored with the toiletries I hoarded them everyday for two weeks and came home with a massive collection. Unfortunately, I couldn't do that this time since I was carrying on and had limited space in my luggage (sad face).

    The first morning, the four of us used our breakfast vouchers to eat at the buffet. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, French toast, a cereal bar, baked goods, fruits and even cold cuts. We also got coffee and orange juice included as part of the buffet. Everything was good except the French toast -- we got the last four pieces and they were pretty old and hard. I really enjoyed the pastries... they were my favorite part of the buffet. The regular price for the buffet is $17.95 -- definitely not worth it. They also have items off a menu.

    There is a small pool and a decent-sized hot tub on the fourth floor. It's a rooftop pool and hot tub, which must be pretty nice at night. The gym is also located on the fourth floor.

    The lobby features a gift shop, which is open long hours, strangely enough. I think it is there just in case you forgot to pack anything, such as toothbrushes or even a swimsuit. They also have infused water in the lobby -- it was nice to sample cucumber mint water, orange water, strawberry water, melon water... they switch out the flavors every day.

    I would stay here again for the rate we got. There is covered parking and the area feels safe. Oh yeah, it is about 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Int'l Airport. Not bad, right?

    Very nice hotel .... Friendly staff .... Clean and spacious. They have a bluefish restaurant inside the hotel too. Their Internet is super fast. Which is a must for me personally. They offer microwaves and small fridges and that's major plus.

    This hotel is just OK.
    The rooms are in need of updating, but aren't too bad.
    My main complaints:
    1. The luggage cart that you get in the lobby to take your stuff upstairs does not have any hooks or a place to hang a garnet bag. This is in a corporate area and I've never seen a luggage cart missing this. It made getting my bags to the room difficult.
    2. I understand valet drivers will need to move your seat back if they are tall, but this guy adjusted the back rest, lumbar, steering wheel height, and broke the cel phone holder in my car. I doubt they took my 8 year old Honda on a joy ride, so I can't even understand why they messed up all the settings.

    3. Their courtesy van is always parked right in front of the doors at the lobby entry. Even when the van is empty. It would be nice if they could pull that through the driveway when not in use.

    I'll cancelled my 3rd night because I was so annoyed by all this.

    I stay here when I travel for work. It's close to some nice restaurants but far from the beach. They sometimes offer a free glass on wine in the lobby in the evenings and free smoothies in the morning. I think it's great because no other restaurant in the same price range does that. Rooms are comfortable and room service is great. My only complaint is that the food in their grill is horrible. I have ordered room service several times and I was always disappointed.

    This property was close to where I was working.  It's not a bad property, little outdated rooms, lobby is very nice and restaurant on site with room service.  

    I will say, nice concierge lounge.  Not from a deco stand point, but the evening finger foods/drink selection was very nice.  Also an outdoor patio which was pretty cool.  

    Nothing screams "must go" bit i would stay here again. Hope this helps.

    I had a very comfortable stay here. I really did not want to get out of bed cause the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located with a variety of bars and restaurants.

    Prior to making reservations through Expedia my and I called the hotel to book directly through them but the receptionist told us there were no rooms available but seconds later was able to book a room online. Not sure what's going one there.

    Check out is at noon so that gives you plenty of time to sleep after getting in at 5 am.

    This is a decent hotel. It was clean and somewhat updated. I was only there for one night and it served its purpose. The bed was nice and comfy and importantly, the bathroom was large and clean. The only small issue is the shower curtain rod was really rusty.

    What made the visit very good was the service. I lost some money in one of the vending machines and went to the front desk for a refund. Not only did I get the refund, the desk clerk offered me 3 bottles of water that I needed to make bottles for my baby. It was so sweet because it was late and I did not feel like fighting with a vending machine late at night.

    Good hotel stay and I'd return if the need arose.

    Perfectly fine property for the business traveler that delivers all the basics for a comfortable stay.  Definitely four stars only on its own terms - it's not a resort, it's not a luxury hotel, and it's definitely not in the middle of a bustling fun neighborhood.  You'll need a car.

    The building is older but well-maintained, with a dedicated and very pleasant housekeeping staff.   Big pluses are the very comfortable beds, strong-flow showers, and surprisingly good food.  I stayed on the concierge floor and enjoyed the lounge, which offers a good complimentary breakfast (weekdays) and generous evening snacks (Sunday -Thursday).  There's a charge for alcohol, but the very friendly attendant is a generous pourer.

    As long as you know that it's not a Ritz at the beach, the Marriott North (same property as the other listing here on Yelp, by the way) is a good base for work in Fort Lauderdale.

    This marriott is alright. For some odd reason when the maid makes your bed in the morning they also blast the AC for you to come back to a nice freezer at night.

    Other than that it's a standard Marriott. Nothing extremely spectacular about it and nothing grotesque either.

    Rooms are just ok. Older furnishings. First room we went to door didn't shut right. Is within walking distance to restaurants and movie theater. Julie manager is very nice. Gym has no mats exercise balls like other Marriott gyms do. Has concierge Sunday evening to Friday morning. Hot tub and pool area nice. Several guests said no hot water in showers in the afternoon. We only used in morning with no problems. Right off 95. Has shuttle bus which will take u place within 3 miles.  Has gift shop and flavor water in lobby. No parking fee which is unusual for fort Lauderdale Marriott stayed in 2 others and had parking fee

    When I travel especially with my family we usually stay at a Marriott resort because we are members of there rewards program and they have a good track record without all of there properties being way over priced.
     
     On our latest trip to south Florida we chose the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North because we were going to be spending two nights at the hotel and one night at my cousins house.  The first day we had something to do right near the hotel and since we already knew the south Florida area we figured why not.  
     When we arrived it was storming out, the hotel like most has a covered area where you pull up and can unload your things, this hotel also has a covered parking garage.
    Since we are rewards members and have there app. we had already checked in the day before, so all we had to do was get the keys from the front desk. The bellhop was very nice and took our things up to our room for us, when we got there the keys didn't work.  We were told that because of the storm they were having some brown outs.  The bellhop quickly went back down to the lobby and returned with a set of working keys.  

     When we entered our room on the 17th floor(one of the concierge floors)it didn't seem to match what we had seen in the lobby, it was almost like being in two different hotels.  The lobby area was gorgeous, crisp, clean and smelled amazing.  Our room looked tired, dated, and  one of the chairs even had a stain.  Not to mention the fact that we had requested a room with two beds and were given a room with one king sized bed. When we called back Marriott we had explained everything to them, and they switched us to a different room which for the night seemed fine....until I tried to shower the next morning.  As soon as I got in the shower I noticed that the water was backing up and not draining, I checked to make sure that the drain wasn't accidently closed and it wasn't.  As soon as I got out and got dressed we called maintenance.  When he came up he tried to wet-vac the water out of the shower, but it wasn't something that they could fix that day.  So the hotel gave us there apologies and moved us to the executive suite back on the 17th floor and had a platter of chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room for us when we returned.

     The hotel also has a pool, jacuzzi, and gym located on the 4th floor.  They offer concierge service to room on floors fifteen and up Mondays-Fridays.  They have a restaurant located through the lobby, as well as a gift shop. They have a living room area in the lobby as well with flat-screens, and access to free computers and printers.  They also offer a free shuttle service that will take you anywhere you want to go within a three mile radius of the hotel.

    The concierge lounge is my favorite part of this hotel. Very nice staff and the carrot cake I had was delicious. I stayed here on a business trip. It's located off the I-95 but you can't hear the outside noise. You need a car to get around, there's nothing in walking distance.

    The room was spacious and clean. Staff tries hard to accommodate your needs. Room service, for once, had amazing food. I I had penne a la vodka and a wrap - both tasteful and fully recommended if you don't feel like going out.

    The pool is nice is perfect to grab a drink.

    Room smelled musty - even for South Fl standards.  Internet was painfully slow- even though I was logged into premium service as a Gold Member.  Hotel had no solution other than for me to call tech support and be on the phone for 20 minutes resulting in no better service.  Room furniture dated/worn.  Won't return.

    Christina was my gf Cristal's favorite person to go to if she needed anything she works down on in the front desk. Christinas supervisor not so much... her supervisor was always in a bad mood and I someone will be taken her place soon I'm sure of it!

    Stayed here overnight while attending an event. I was pleased they had covered parking. The lobby was nice with the computer area and area to just sit and relax. Check in went smoothly and the staff were very professional. The room itself was clean other than the fact it smelled like cigarette smoke. No microwave or fridge? Upon checkout there was water with fruit. Watermelon was one and the other was honey dew and cantaloupe. Both were very tasty and refreshing. Overall stay I would say was average.

    I stay in hotels about 80 nights a year and tend to prefer Marriott.  We selected the Marriott Fort Lauderdale North for a board meeting based on location and a very competitive room rate.  While the experience was not my worst, it was far from the standard I have come to expect from Marriott.  The hotel is very tired and dated, it look like the last update was 15+ years ago.  The staff is friendly but the level of service for a full service hotel was not sharp.  Issues our group encounter:

    1.  Rooms not being made up until late afternoon/evening even when guests were out of room all day.
    2.  House keeping staff very loud outside of rooms as early as 9 am
    3.  Bar tenders constantly got orders wrong and struggled with basic drinks

    Overall this was not what I would expect from a Marriott.

    It's pretty basic.  The water was not hot for showering.  That was a bit frustrating.  The service at the restaurant was extremely extremely SLOW!!!!!!  I really don't understand how this is possible in a reputable company like the Marriott.   There was little attention to detail.  The food was good but there was no waiter in sight FOREVER!!!  This happened at every meal we attended there.

    It was nice to be given free water bottles at night after a long day at a conference.   The people who work here are friendly ....  They are just not trained to provide excellent customer service.  Too bad.

    This hotel is nice. It is located close enough to the airport (about 15 mins drive) and close to many shopping centers. Across the street from the hotel are plenty of restaurants to choose from, all walking distance.

    The lobby area was very nice. The reception area was a bit crowded due to the fact that there were only 2 people helping guest check in or check out.
    There is also a restaurant on site which is cool if you don't want to go outside of the hotel to eat.

    The room i stayed in was very nice and clean but it smelled like cigarette/ a little musty. It didn't have a view but it worked for me as i was staying there only 1 night. The only complaint i have is the noise level. The walls are pretty thin so you can basically hear everything and anything that goes on in the hallway or next door.
    Some of the guests arrived very late and they were very loud and i could hear their whole conversation at 3 in the morning.

    To be honest beside the noise level and walls being thin, the room and the hotel were nice.

    5 star hotel.
    Service: bellhop was efficient, and front desk staff was friendly and quick.
    Room: Spacious, clean, great view, 2 HBO channels, comfortable beds.
    Location: Great location.  There's a shopping center right across the street with plenty of restaurants.  I stumbled upon
    a gem called "Bread Shop", which serves Venezuelan food.  The breakfast was delicious.  And for dinner ate at Giraffas
    which was good too.  Both places are walking distance, although for the bigger shopping center you'll need to J-Walk a
    major street that can get busy at times.
    There's also a Wells Fargo a block away, along with St. Henry Catholic Church, both are within walking distance and
    no J-walking required.
    Fitness Center: Spacious, clean, 4 new treadmills, free weights that go up to 40lbs, and a standard outdoor swimming pool.
    *free guest parking inside a 3 story structure adjacent to the hotel.
    **no complimentary breakfast, although they do have a Starbucks, restaurant, and gift shop inside the premises
