Comfy beds, nice extra space if you are going to be staying for longer trip. Homewood offers studios or suites.   One complaint is in the studio there is limited draw space, it would be nice to have a full dresser after all this is a longer stay type hotel.
Free breakfast and it is always made fresh and has a variety throughout the week.
There is nightly dinner too.

Great stay at Homewood Suites in Dania Beach.

Lots of space for the whole family.  2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, a sitting room.

Breakfast was OK - at least it was free!

Free parking around the hotel.

Self-laundry available for a fee.

We stayed here one night before our cruise departure.  We had a one bedroom studio with a foldout couch and that suited the four of us just fine. The room was clean, quiet and the kitchenette might have been more useful had we stayed longer.
Don't get too excited about the breakfast, though.  They really advertise it as this big deal, but I thought it was average to below average.  Being a "hot" breakfast isn't that great if everything has just been microwaved... We arrived too late for the dinner.
They had a paid shuttle service to the airports and the Port cruise ships which was fast and convenient.

Was comped two nights here (~$325 value) as compensation for having my Spirit Airlines flight canceled. Hourly shuttle to the airport (or on request if not particularly busy) makes hitting the airport on time a non issue.

Continental breakfast offered but not explored as I slept in - great rooms with a kitchenette (no stove AFAIK but I think a micro was in there) a nice big bathroom with walk-in shower, etc..

Nice sized, clean pool and a two-computer room with free access to internet/printer.

TL;DR: Had everything a hotel should have with a big fucking bow wrapped around it - if you can afford it and need to catch a plane - stay here...

Worst hotel stay ever. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful.  I could not get maid service after literally begging for a clean towel. We were overcharged upon checkout with no explanation.  Hilton should be ashamed of this property.

Absolutely a 5 star, especially when compared to area hotels. You'll find the staff genuinely caring and compassionate  makes you want to keep coming back. Easy to get in and out of and a lot of food venues at the exit south of this location. Yuval at the front desk was amazing.

This was not the best of experiences. Front Desk not pleasant. The floor plan poorly laid out and confusing.
Only 4 luggage carts for the whole hotel never saw 1. Glad to be checking out.
Guest were friendly, but then again everyone was from out of town.

I have been staying at Hilton hotels for over 20 years and have never had a single complaint...until this week.  Staying here for 6 weeks due to relocation and have had three conversations in the first week with hotel manager about the cleaning...or lack of it.  They don't change out towels, don't leave a bath mat, and don't vacuum.  I asked for an iron because there wasn't one in my room...it took them 4 days and 2 requests to get it.  Very disappointed.

Staff at this Homewood were friendly and get their jobs done right.  It was a refreshing change to head out around 9am, run a few errands and come back to the hotel at 11:30 to find your room had already been made up.  This happened every single day while I stayed at this location.  I also appreciated that since I tend to sleep with only one pillow the housekeeping staff didn't simply stack up all the pillows on the bed every day only to have me toss them off the bed before I hit the sack.  The maid simply stacked the extra pillows in the corner of the room so getting the bed ready for sleep did not need to involve a major pillow toss.

I would have liked to see more variety in the breakfasts in the morning.  Three out of five mornings they had those nasty "cheese" omelets, the ones that seem to have a slab of velveeta inside.  That is the nastiest "cheese" on earth.  When they had scrambled eggs they were a great improvement over the omelets.

The evening meals were all pretty basic school lunch type meals.  If you are looking to save a few pennies on dining out the evening offerings largely would suffice.  There are quite a few good spots to dine out within a short drive from the hotel.  The wine and beer offerings during the Monday thru Thursday meals were nice.

Internet speeds were decent during my entire stay.

Highly recommend this location, especially if you want to be close to the airport (without a ton of airport noise) or close to the cruise port.

I've enjoyed staying at this hotel on several occasions.  Each time, I have been impressed with the accommodations.  The staff is friendly and professional in addressing your needs.  The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable.  The suites are well laid-out for rest and relaxation, as well as working from the road.  Ceiling fans keep the air moving for a cool breeze as you sleep.

Outside in the inner courtyard is a nice, spacious pool and a putting green.  A nicely sized dining area is available for breakfast.

I can think of nothing negative to say about this location.  Whatever the purpose of your stay, you will enjoy your time.

I'm here on a layover, which often happens when returning from the Carribean.  The front desk clerks are wonderful. Jessica even called in a carryout order for me and arranged for the shuttle driver to take me on the late night food run.  Room is quite and clean. It has a little kitchenette stocked with plates, silverware and some pots and pans.  There is a pool, although I don't plan on using it... it's already late and it's sort of rainy.  Further more I just shoveled in my wonderful carryout meal from Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine - I would have to wait 30 minute before I went swimming - Safety First!

The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were coming in very late from our flight from Edmonton to Fort Lauderdale. They quickly got us settled and off to the room. It was a suite with a full kitchen with dinner table and chairs, stove, fridge, sink, and even a garbage disposal. Not that we needed any of those things, but it was nice to have the necessary amenities should we have chosen to stay longer.

The room had a king size bed and pull out couch, desk, large screen television and a nice large bathroom. I liked that in our room the shower and toilet were separated from the sink and mirror. Made it much easier to share the room with multiple people.

The air conditioning was great to help kill the Florida humidity.

Free breakfast was great. Biscuits and gravy, corn beef hash, plus the usual cereals and baked goods. There was so much to choose from and plenty of seating. There were many people who even took their breakfast and sat by the pool.

For long stay guests there are barbecues for use. Even had a little bit of putting green.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutly LOVE this place. Great accommodations, and  near the airport. The room was wonderful. The food was great. Near the cruise port.

It started out poorly enough. . with the front desk staff on the morning of our departure from Denver noting that they were "sold out" so they wouldn't be able to setup a crib or get my pillows. . .foam. . .

What does sold out mean? I had booked months in advance and past the window for cancellations. . .

regardless my wife called when we landed and they "promised" to do so.  Well promises here only go so far. So when we arrive at midnight no foam pillows, they did manage to get a crib in the room but it wasn't assembled and was missing bed sheets.

They had offered extra towels, and didn't deliver

there was NO luggage dollys, so we had to move everything up to our room and two toddlers at midnight

the breakfast was horrible.  It is like they attempted to cook something themselves and failed.  The "corn beef hash" looked like dog food.

We were told the pool was "too cold to use" (so much for booking a hotel with a pool for the little guys)

A lot of hotels were sold out. . .yet I regreted every minute here. I really wish I would of booked our return visit hotel . . .which was a Hampton Inn on Sterling road. It was a LOT better experience. . .

I fancy myself more of a 5-star hotel kind of a gal ... But on a recent business trip I stayed at this Homewood Suites on the company dime. I have to say ... I was quite impressed. The rooms weren't super fancy but they were clean. Very clean. And Marcus at the front desk was probably one of the nicest, most helpful, knowledge front desk personnel I have ever encountered. And I stay at a lot of hotels ... That kid rocked. I would totally stay at this hotel again.

Wellllll.  Jetblue decided to cancel my flight and I was stuck here with my friend.  The room was amenity rich, spacious and very comfortable.  I got stuck with the pull out bed since Jetblue messed up again and did not give two vouchers.  I did not mind it though.  It was still very comfortable and you do not feel the support bar through the mattress.  The shower was nice and the soaps were of average quality.  The continental breakfast was left to be desired for.  There is a nice swimming pool with patio seating.  Too bad there is not a bar.

The staff was very helpful transitioning us from our disappointing flight.  They were very accommodating, friendly and pleasant to work with.

They have shuttle support to and from the airport and a variety of neighboring restaurants.  Too bad it does not go to the beach.

The dinner wasn't up to standard at all. I can only assume they were poorly prepared for a sold out night : noodles with canned vegetables and cut up hot dog buns as a side dish... Served on Styrofoam. The staff has been pushy and defensive . So far so bad. Maybe the chciken marsala or warn dinner rolls were better...

Cheap parking can be had here for long term parking needs. However; be prepared to wait for airport pick up...for up to an hour.
That's a bummer as I was off an international flight, was fighting jet lag, and had a 4 hour drive ahead of me...

If they had more than one shuttle for both hotels that share the same parking lot, it would get 5 stars....seems like there are always drawbacks for anything that looks like a "deal" could have spent about $20 more and been picked up very quickly...the vans of other parking companies were passing by at 10 to 15 minutes on average.

Choose wisely with this knowledge.

My husband and I have stayed at several Hilton properties in the past, and we have always had a good experience with them. The Homewood Suites offer rooms that are like small apartments. The room we had at this location came with a kitchen (featuring a full size refrigerator, large microwave, and a 2 burner smooth top stove), bedroom with bathroom attached and a living room. They even had a shopping list attached to the refrigerator that we could fill out if we wanted them to go shopping for us. Coffee, tea, and bags of microwave popcorn come with the room. I must also note: the kitchen counter tops were made from REAL granite.

The hotel serves breakfast and dinner for guests (included with the room charge). Breakfast is served daily. Dinner, however, is only served Monday thru Thursday. The dinner comes with unlimited free beer and wine.

The staff here is wonderful and makes sure that everything runs smoothly for you. We will continue to stay at Hilton properties in the future.
