stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise to the Bahamas! :) friend used hot-wire to get 2 nights for $115! what a deal! considering rooms start at $150 per night!
called to request FREE shuttle from airport. Says you can only request the shuttle from 12a-5a...but they're nice enough to disregard that. :)
Angel, our customer service representative made me feel MORE than welcome. I felt like FAMILY. She kept reassuring that she would do anything and everything i wanted as her guest. "anything you want...all for you Ms. Tran." Yippee!
Ride to the hotel by shuttle got us there in 10 minutes! tip: you must say the name under reservation or else they won't pick u up!
The continental breakfast is fantabulous! best item on the menu was the biscuits and GRAVY! it was beeeeeyond delicious and totally made our morning!!! chunky meaty gravy on a biscuit...oh my gawddd.
Fitness room is meh. Pool is meh...wasn't crowded at least.
The rooms are huge(studio sized) with a sectional, fridge, kitchen sink, desk, restroom, swivel flat screen, closet etc etc! the amenities are endless!
will definitely b back if I visit ft. laudy again! sooooooo pleased with my stay/visit @ the Hyatt Place!

Nicest and most genuine staff I've ever met! Seriously, the staff here are ALL super sweet and were more than eager to help make our trip easy and care free. They truly went above and beyond. The free shuttle also came in handy and our driver was top notch.

I stayed at this Hyatt from a Friday morning through Sunday afternoon. I was here to take an exam at a nearby university. I checked in on Friday, went out for a bit and when I came back, I discovered that not only will the toilet properly flush but also the handle was broken. The only way to get it to function properly, was to literally hold down the timing pump in the tank. Who wants to have to do this nasty work while staying at an upscale hotel? So I reach for the phone to call the front desk and... the phones are dead! That in itself is a safety hazard.

I walk down to the front desk and am told that because it is a Friday afternoon, the repairs could not be made until the following morning. The phones would be fixed asap. I was given the option to change rooms to the second floor. No ma'am, I cannot change rooms because my 76 year old father is staying with me and has trouble getting around. That's why I requested the first level.

Saturday afternoon, the toilet was still not fixed and nobody ever came about the phones. So I call the Hyatt customer service center and reported the issue WHILE I was still staying at this location. They told me to speak to the manager when I checked out. So, I ask to do just that when I checked out the next day. Guess what? The manager was not present. After talking again to the customer service center, I get an email from the hotel manager to call him. I have been trying to reach him unsuccessfully, since. I always get his voicemail and when he calls me back, I am at work and can't pick up. In the end, I got no refund and horrible customer service. I will never be back. Nor will I ever again stay at a Hyatt Hotel. If you are going to Ft. Lauderdale, take your hard earned cash and pay a little more to stay right at the beach another mile down the road.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip. Accomodations were far above what my company usually puts me in. The room was spacious and looked exactly like the online photos. The staff was super helpful since I accidentally made reservations at Airport South. They helped me switch them and checked me into Airport North free of charge. BUT (there's always a but) the internet connection was marginal at best, the business center was non-existent (a real problem when you try to print boarding passes), there was no hotel bar (a real problem for my liver), the continental breakfast was weak, my refrigerator did not work, and when I tried to buy a sandwich from the cooler, I was told it would be $10. No good. My recommendation: Stay here for a night or two, but no more than that.

Presently staying here for a conference in town. The lobby is nice and check-in staff friendly and personable. The room is very nice and the only complaint is the shower pressure is not so good. Other than the shower the room is excellent although alot of noise from housekeeping outside by the elevator. I would stay here again especially for cruises departing from Port Everglades just a few short blocks away.

My husband and I had to stay here for a couple weeks as we transitioned to move to the area. While we were there they had their own transition and switched owners. It was pretty obvious that the previous owner had been scraping by on bare essentials and many repairs had been put on the back burner. Within hours the new management came in and improved the hotel almost immediately. Although many of the old staff left (although they thankfully kept some of the sweet front desk agents), the new staff tried to make the turnover as seamless as possible. Within the first week the landscapers came and did all the flowerbeds and shrubs. The elevator buttons were fixed. All the carpets were cleaned and all furniture polished. It seems like they were short staffed for a bit and the manager was here ALL hours -- he was very nice and personable and seemed to be working his butt off to get some managers hired and work through the problems that come with this sort of turnover.

One thing that they are sure to need to work on is breakfast! It is a madhouse on the weekends with all the cruisers!

Anyway, they were all so accommodating and kind! I look forward to seeing the hotel in a couple months! It is sure to be unrecognizable!

We just stayed here after our cruise and I was very impressed with this place.  Conveniently located between the pier and the airport with complimentary shuttles between the locations makes it a winner for cruise guests!  

Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.  They offer an included continental breakfast which is decent- we were in a hurry to get to the airport, but I did glance at it.  There is a small bar in the lobby that serves beer and wine and a "snack counter" with items for purchase.  They also have house computers that you can use to print your boarding passes.

Rooms are HUGE!!  It was nice to be able to scatter our suitcases opened for one night and be able to still get around the room.  Free in room hi-fi access, comfy beds...really a winner of a place.  I would stay here again for sure!

Great location and pretty friendly staff.  The rooms were incredibley clean and very comfortable.   A couple drawbacks to note though.  

First, there is only a tiny bar which is openly connected to the lobby with no separation at all.  That's huge to me because I love nothing more than hanging at the hotel bar watching whatever game is on while mingling with whoever is around when traveling for work.  In this type of environment, no one is around.  

Second thing to keep in mind is concerning if you are using the hotel shuttle.  I sat and waited for over 45 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up at the airport after my call.  Keep in mind, the hotel is 10 minutes max down the road.  When I called after a half hour to make sure everything was okay, I was told the driver hit a lot of traffic.  Based on the time of the day and the roads you would take, this is impossible without an accident.  There was no accident.  Fact is, I feel they were simply waiting for a couple more people to call to save an extra trip.  I saw a shuttle for pretty much every other local hotel at least 5 times in the time it took me to get teh Hyatt one.

Overall, an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable place to stay, just not ideal.

The staff went out of there way to make sure we were happy and comfortable during our stay!  The service they provided made us feel as though we were staying at a 5 star hotel.  Loved everything about this hotel and the staff and would highly recommend them!

Won this hotel on a $42 Priceline bid just to have a Sunday away from the norm.

The hotel is in a solid area, on south of 17th causeway on 10th ave.  Free Parking, Free Wireless and a Free Continental Breakfast.

They let us check in around noon and check out at 2 p.m. the following day w/o extra cost, so that was real cool.  We went upstairs to our first room, and boy the smell was moldy and musky.  It was weird because the hallway didn't smell this way and another room that was open for housekeeping didn't smell that way either.  I think maybe the A/C was too cold and over time that caused the smell.  Either way it was too much to bear and we went back down and switched rooms.  The next room also had a smell but it wasn't nearly as bad, so we just kept it and lit a few candles.  The smell was gone after a while.

The rooms are real nice and spacious and come equipped with brand new LCD TV's with a side panel that have every possible connection for your needs.  HDMI, AUX, PC, A/V, Component . . . real convenient.  The room didn't have a microwave, but a mini fridge and a coffee maker.  Big sofa area as well.  I LOVED the shower pressure, maybe the best I have ever had in a hotel.  The bed was actually a little disappointing, but not terrible, just not as soft/comfortable as I hoped.

Despite the smell, this place was 4 stars all the way, until we got to breakfast.  Now I know continental breakfast's are small . . . but this took the cake.  Literaly nothing but cereal, yogurt, bread and limited fruit, with coffee and juice.  I have been to Comfort Inn's and Hampton Inn's and they offer much more for Continental breakfasts.  A waffle maker, danish, even meat/egg options . . . atleast they had a toaster I guess.  They do have a convenient little snack area to buy muffins and sandwiches.  They also have a nice mini park one block west of the hotel that has a brand new looking kids tower with slides, monkey bars and other stuff . . . small but nice.

The pool was also very small and uninviting and the one time we went near there were no clean towels for use.  The gym was small but a nice addition for those interested.  Couple of cardio machines.  We also had a do not disturb sign on the door and the maid service still knocked on the door.  Yea I understand we had late check out but call the front desk and ask, don't knock on a door with a "do not disturb sign on" . . . and then walk away with an attitude after asking "what time are you leaving".  

Overall, this hotel seems better suited for those looking for an overnight stay before boarding a flight/cruise in the morning but I wouldn't mind staying here again . . . just not at the $119 regular price.  I wouldn't recommend extended stays.

They try, but they fail.

First  of all, if you aren't away of what a Hyatt Place hotel is, it is basically Hyatt's attempt at copying the Holiday Inn Express brand. It's a small property with minimal amenities (translation, no restaurant or spa) but with the comfortable Hyatt bed and theoretically Hyatt quality service. I'm giving this hotel a 3 star rating because the bed was comfortable and the room was clean enough, but there are some definite problems here.

I was flying in on a very early flight and called the day before to try and arrange for an early check in. They said they don't guarantee an early check in, but that the hotel was not full that night and that there should be no problem getting me in early the next day. Then when I arrived it was a totally different story. No rooms were available and they had a list of other waiting for their rooms as well. I was third on the list and with all the people I saw checking out and the maids working on cleaning the rooms I figured it wouldn't take that long for me to get a room. Then 3 hours later I was still in the lobby waiting. I went to the front desk and asked them to double check if anything was available. I was told the only room that was available was a disabled accessible room. After 3 hours of waiting that was really the only room that was clean? He offered me the room, and being desperate to take a nap I accepted.

I walked into the room with the intention of just instantly turning off the lights and sleeping. The room was big, nice and clean, but when I walked in the room I couldn't figure out how to turn off the lights in the living room area. I called the maid in the room (she was right outside) and asked her how to turn the lights off, and she couldn't figure it out either. There was a switch that was supposed to control the lights, but it was broken. We ended up moving the sofa and just unplugging the lights.

Later that night while lounging in the room I saw an ad for their in room entertainment movie system where they had on demand movies for only $4.99 which is an awesome price for a hotel movie. I tried to order one, but the system wasn't working. I called the front desk and asked if the system was down and the attendant said he would check on it and call me back in 10 minutes. An hour later there was a knock at my door and it was him. He said the system was fine and he wanted to check my TV. He discovered there was a problem with my TV and it needed to be replaced, but that couldn't happen until the next day.

Additionally, they have 2 free use computers in the lobby but the internet was sporadic at best and when I tried to use them to check emails it didn't work. I talked with others who had the same problem with the internet.

If it wasn't for these issues I probably would have given the hotel 4-stars, but I just can't do it with the aforementioned problems. Also, I should mention that the hotel is quite pricey for what it was.

I will say everyone was very nice and they have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel if you ask. I was craving Starbucks and the shuttle driver drove me there and waited for me while I got my drink. I thought that was awesome.

If they work through some of the technical problems they will be onto something here, but they definitely have some work to do.

This review is a bit late (12 months) in the coming, but better late than never!

We stayed in October 2010. Beautiful hotel with refreshing atmosphere. If you have never stayed in a Hyatt Place before, you'll love the rooms of this style hotel: uniquely furnished with seperated living/sleeping areas, a comfortable sofa, and pretty sweet bath amenities.

Stayed here for two nights before a cruise, with four friends. Paid about a hundred dollars per night for each room. Hotel had a shuttle bus which picked us up at Ft. Lauderdale airport for no extra charge- awesome! The five of us saved quite a bit of $$ by not having to take a taxi. Driver offered to make stops if we needed to go to CVS (nearby), etc. Many stores and a few restaurants are within walking distance, which was great for us because we didn't have a car. Outback Steakhouse practically shares the hotel parking lot. TIP: Las Olas Beach is just a short and scenic trolley ride away. Take the Sunshine Trolley from the shopping plaza near the hotel. It's only 50 cents! Hotel staff can tell you where to go.

Hotel has a garden atmosphere in the back with a nice pool. Continental breakfast is excellent. Hotel staff were exceedingly helpful and polite (especially Angel, one of the managers!) Very clean rooms and common areas, A/C worked great. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this hotel, and I'm usually fairly critical.

Stay here! You will not regret it!

Great hotel for short stays, location is great, rooms and general areas are clean, friendly staff, free shuttle to the airport/convention center, and BIG rooms!!!

This used to be an Ameri Suites Hotel, now it is a Hyatt hotel.  They renovated about 2 years ago, everything looks great.  Flat screen TV's in the rooms that can be veered to the living area or the room area, free on site parking.  Have I mentioned that the flat screen TV can be connected to VCR, several inputs, it had so many buttons for the tech savy!

Continental Breakfast, included, but it's meh....

Beds are incredible comfortable, the only downside is the A/C.  The A/C are the individual units that are in the rooms, that you can control, and are very noisy.  This is the only item I think they did not remodel out of the whole room.  Apparently ALL of the rooms have the same A/C model.... bummer... but oh well... just make sure you full blast the A/C before sleeping and turn it off - it's noisy if you sleep with with it on.

Just needed a night for a cruise I took earlier in the year. It's about two miles from the cruise port and they offer a complimentary airport shuttle. Great place if you need a few nights to await a cruise. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our early arrival. Rooms clean and found to be in good order. Not a lot to do in walking distance however, but they also offer a shuttle downtown (both drop off and pick up)

Although the Hyatt was a little ways away from the downtown city area of Ft. Lauderdale (about a 10 minute taxi ride), I thought this was an excellent hotel. Service was friendly and helpful. The room I shared with 3 of my girlfriends had 2 double beds that were pretty comfortable, and there was a spacious "living room" area that included a TV, an L-shaped couch to lounge on, a fridge, and an extra sink with cabinet and counter space. Other amenities in the hotel included an outdoor pool and fitness room.

There was 24-hour room service, and breakfast was served everyday in the main lobby from 7:00 to 9:30am. The breakfast selection wasn't anything to write home about, but it was decent for being complementary. It was your usual spread of various juices, coffee, and tea, bagels and toast, breakfast pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, and breakfast sandwiches.

There was also a free shuttle service that ran from 7am to 11pm. It offered transportation for visitors to and from the hotel to various locations, mainly being the beach nearby and the airport. Special shout out to one of the drivers, Julio! He was a very friendly and sweet employee who ran the shuttle during the morning shifts, and he made our trip to Florida that much more memorable! The only suggestion I would make is to have more than one shuttle running at a time. Because there was only one shuttle, wait times for pick-up/drop-off would vary, and during one of the nights my girlfriends and I were there, we were left waiting for the shuttle to arrive for about an hour when we were told it would only take 20 minutes. Nevertheless, it is a free shuttle so we couldn't really complain. If you do have somewhere you absolutely need to be, make sure to arrange it with the front desk the night before so they can put you down on the driver's schedule. If you plan on using a taxi, you can also call down to the front desk and they will call a cab for you. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here at the Hyatt!

This hotel was recently renovated and it's really nice. The location is great - you can walk to a variety of stores and restaurants, and they offer shuttle service. It's very convenient to the cruise ship terminal, and also a short drive to the beach.

Their free breakfast wasn't the best free hotel breakfast I've had, but it was decent. It seemed there wasn't enough seating for breakfast in the lobby area.

I had a quick overnighter in Fort Lauderdale (mid-September, Saturday night) before I headed to Costa Rica so what I was looking for was a nice, comfortable, clean hotel that included a shuttle ride to and from the airport so I didn't have to pay for a cab or rent a car.  Well, I booked through Expedia two days before my arrival and hit jackpot - I got a super good deal for this hotel and the location couldn't have been more perfect!  

My PROS:
- Included a complimentary airport pick-up/drop-off
- Within walking distance to shopping centers and a ton of restaurants
- Included WiFi and breakfast
- Super friendly service
- Clean and comfortable bed and pillows
- Massively spacious room! King bed plus a good-sized sofa
- Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room!

My CONS:
- There were ants in the bathroom  :(

Overall, the location, service and accomodations were perfect; I was able to buy items I needed, snacks and drinks at the Publix supermarket and I had a large selection of restaurants to choose from for dinner!  I didn't need a car at all.

Okay, so after I complained about the bed bugs, the General Manager called me and told me that they stripped the room and didn't detect any bed bugs. However, pest control will be in to take care of the problem, or to determine if there is even a problem. I could admit, I have no way of knowing when exactly I was bit. Everything says bed bugs, but there is always a chance it could have been something else. He also explained that they purchased the hotel in September and that they are still working on renovations. I really appreciated the Manager Brian Cole taking the time to call me and assist me with this. Pending the pest control inspection, I would stay here again.

Great breakfast, great value. Nice rooms. A cut above other hotels of this style. No room service but the guy behind the front desk at night can make simple food for you that is a bit overpriced. It's still a plus as the food is decent.

The Hyatt Place rooms are so wonderful! Had a whole kitchen suite and lounge space and a flatscreen wall mounted TV that easily pivoted between the bed room and the couch room, as needed.  

The outdoor gated pool was welcoming and refreshing. Other renovations were fine, as well.

The lobby configuration was a sore point, however. Despite the fancy features, the breakfast chairs were laid out  poorly right on top of the lines for checkout, making breakfast time not only a very noisy experience but sheer mayhem with school kids running around and mass confusion. Breakfast food selection was somewhat better than what you might find at a 2 star hotel, but they couldn't keep up with the traffic flow, causing them to run out of bagels and glassware very early on a Saturday when they needed it most.

Also, the front desk counter kind of doubled as a starbucks type grab-n-go station with no prices affixed to anything. It looked like a unique concept, but it kind of overwhelmed the room, and it didn't really add anything to my experience because I did not want to subject myself to having to ask how much everything costs.

Really quick - After 4 different nights here through out the year - THERE ARE NO BED BUGS!  Some people, bring there own... now on to the review....

WOOT! WOOT!

So I have stayed here a few times this year so this is based on my combined experience.  My first time, I arrived late at night and Mattias checked him.  Good guy with a sincere smile, friendly attitude and a quickness to get things done!  All was well that 1 night stay.

Lets fast forward now a few months.  I come back.  I easily recognize him because we was so genuine.  He says, " You look familar.  Are you Mr. L?"  WTF!  WOW!  After 1 night a few months ago, he remembers me!  That, my Yelp! amigos is service!  Again, all well that night.

I checkin two more nights this year and it just gets better.  The service is what you would get from the Grand Hyatt.  These guys are fast, fun and friendly.  The rooms are large, clean, and spacious, all with a desk, large TV and free wifi.  They have a full bar, Starbucks coffee and breakfast in the morning.  They can also make just about anything all day/night long - I know!

FYI: they also have gym, business center and local van to take you places nearby!

My only gripe is the $5 parking - seriously - get rid of it already!  It is in a good location, close to airport and US 1.  If you are passing through and need a coupe of nights to hide out - this is your spot!

Didn't have much of a choice when I booked this hotel online. I knew it was going to be a warrior business traveler establishment but I just needed somewhere to crash while awaiting my next day flight.

The price was under $100. I stayed in a room with a king sized bed and a large couch with a large flat screen tv that swiveled between them! The sheets where clean, the pillows comfortable. Coffee maker and iron with board was helpful. Breakfast was well displayed and filling. Free airport shuttle and room wifi was a super plus.

Walking distance to many local shops and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.   The staff is nice, the room was spacious and comfortable, very clean hotel,  and they have breakfast every morning.   This place is near to many shopping centers,  the beach,  restaurants,  and fwy entrances.   Staying here from July 21st and leaving September 1st.  I've enjoyed every day here.   No complaints.

Very short drive to the airport and only about a 10 minute drive to downtown and the beaches.  Beautiful comfortable rooms and one of the better continental breakfasts I've seen.  The rooms have a large 'living room" for friends to hang out in your room.  The flat screen TV has multiple inputs built into the side of the table including HDMI if you want to plug in your computer or phone/tablet to play videos.  Friendly staff.  There is a free airport shuttle that does pick-up and drop-off until 11pm.

The fitness center was very tiny but okay.  Didn't get a chance to check out the pool.  It's walking distance to a shopping mall and other shopping centers and restaurants.  We walked to dinner and the bar across the street.  The hotel lobby has a wine and coffee bar but it's staffed by the reception desk so if there are ppl checking in, you'll have to wait for that drink.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while waiting to depart on a cruise from Port Everglades.

We arrived at the Fort Lauderdale airport around 8:30PM and immediately tried to figure out to how to get to this hotel for our reservation.  Good news!  Their airport shuttle operates every hour on the hour until 11:00PM.  Someone in the airport tried to tell me that they didn't have a shuttle, but that was a downright lie.  Don't listen to strangers, fellow Yelpers!  We called ahead to let them know to look for us, and shortly after 9:00 we were greeted by an incredibly friendly shuttle driver who got us to the hotel promptly and gave us restaurant recommendations for late-night eats in the area.  A great start!

We were checked in quickly by Conor, who proved himself to be incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay.  We were also delighted to discover how clean and sizeable our room was.  The room featured a large sitting area with a couch, a desk, a mini-fridge, a safe, a King-sized bed, a flat screen television, and a walk-in shower.  It was also stocked with important amenities such as a hair dryer and an iron.  And anything that wasn't there?  They included a list of items available at the front desk to borrow if needed.  Also, the free wi-fi was a HUGE plus.

The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants, pharmacies, and other amenities.  We spent the day before our cruise wandering the area, stocking up on some last-minute necessities, and taking in the sights.  Later that evening, Conor helped us get a cab so we could explore beyond walking distance for dinner.  After dinner, we hung around their Grab-And-Go bar area, and enjoyed a drink and a delicious hot-from-the-oven peanut butter cookie.  All the staff who served us were incredibly pleasant and very helpful.

The continental breakfast was average, but filling.  It featured eggs, sausages, pancakes, warm and cold cereal, bagels, fruit, juice, and coffee.  It is a little hectic, but there was more than enough food to go around and we found ample seating in the overflow section set up in one of their conference rooms.

I only had two issues, both of which weren't deal breakers when it comes to choosing accommodations in Fort Lauderdale in the future.  1) Housekeeping didn't arrive until about 5:00PM.  We were in the room at that point and didn't really wish to vacate so it could be turned around.  We had been gone for most of the day, so it was a little disappointing that things weren't taken care of during the ample amount of time we were gone.  However, the housekeeper happily provided fresh towels, which is all we really required.  2) Check-out, especially pre-cruise, is a nightmare.  I needed a receipt so I opted to go to the front desk instead of checking out via my television.  Big mistake.  The lobby was mobbed with people headed to cruises, returning from cruises, and frazzled desk staff trying to take care of everyone.  I had to wait a bit to get my receipt and fully check out.  If they had printed a folio and slipped it under my door, I could have bypassed this step all together.  If you can manage without a receipt, just check out on the TV and avoid the chaos.

Other than that, we were incredibly happy with our stay and would absolutely not hesitate to book here again.

For cruisers - we purchased our cruise transfer as part of a package with the hotel, but if you don't do that, know that it costs $7 a person (paid to the driver) and there are shuttles that leave for Port Everglades at 10:00AM, 11:00AM, and 12:00PM.  Be sure to sign up at the front desk the day before to reserve your space!

We were there for a 10 day holiday and we loved it. The employees were great and very nice to us and our kids. The breakfast was good as well. There was everything you needed for a good breakfast.
We even recieved some packages we had sent to the hotel. They were very kind a d called our room and said there was a package for us.
The location of the hotel is good. Close to busses and some shops. We went to the beach two days and we took the public bus, which had a stop 200 m from the hotel.
The airportshuttle was great as well. We called it when we got through the customs and they said it would arrive in 15-20 min. 15 mins after it was there and a kind driver picked us up and told us a little something about the hotel, the city and so on. All sorts of practical things.
All in all we had a great stay here from August 11th to 21st. We would definately come again.

We were fresh off the flight, snare us a good car rental and we set out for the hotel. Not too far from the airport, which is always a good thing, we found this spot effortlessly. We got there pretty early and our room was not ready yet so what do you do? That's right, change into our beach gear in the restroom and on to the beach. We return and the room was clean, in a nice quiet spot with a view of Interstate 95. Each day we would head out and return in the evening after an incredible day of sightseeing and finding nice spot to rest. Then it happened. We came in from a nice frolic at the beach when someone named Robert stopped us dead in our tracks. He states, Excuse me, can I help you? Do you have a reservation? I promptly informed him that we were already checked in. He apologized! BIG Sigh!!! I give him the info and he then states, we are having issues finding your information. How long are you here? I answer that question. Eventually, he finds the reservation and quickly blames it on the agent who checked us in. The property is pretty cool, good parking, breakfast was decent and the location was not bad. I would choose it again! Next day, we get in late; we attempt to use our key card for the room. It wasn't programmed. So I head down to the front desk to get a new one. Robert is on duty! I inform him of the situation and he says, What's the room number? I give him the number. He states, "I can not find your reservation." BIG Sigh!!! I give him the info and he then states, we are having issues finding your information. How long are you here? I answer that question. Eventually, he finds the reservation and quickly blames it on the agent who checked us in. The property is pretty cool, good parking, breakfast was decent and the location was not bad. I would choose it again!

Stayed here 5 times. Everything you expect from a Hyatt. Always a friendly staff. Manicured property. Clean neat and up to date rooms. Beds comfortable. Good price for area.

Well maintained and clean hotel. We stayed here for ten days and had no problems. The complimentary breakfast is light years ahead of most hotel's free breakfasts. Nice pool and workout room. After ten breakfasts near the front desk I can attest that customer service is excellent.  I would definitely recommend this Hyatt Place.

We got in Sat for a cruise leaving Sun. The rooms are very nice for the price and the hotel is near a strip mall where you can get some groceries. The free breakfast was also good. Free shuttle from airport also. We've cruised from Fort Lauderdale before and this is our second time staying at this hotel.  The staff was also very nice.  Very nice pre-cruise hotel.

I travel a lot for work and this has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The service is so great, check-in took about 3 minutes and this place rivals the five star hotels easily. My room is superb - clean, large, great amenities, etc. I get frustrated when so many rooms don't have adequate power outlets or cheap worn towels.  Not so here. I recommend this hotel for business or leisure travel. It's on my faves list now!! Even the coffee in the room is good. LOVE HYATT!! Stay here - you will be happy.

Close to the airport and cruise port, Hyatt is a great choice for a quick night stay.

Hyatt was a good choice for me seeing as this was my first time in the area. The hotel offers a shuttle to and from the airport from 7 am to 11 pm. Unfortunately I had an early flight the next day so I had to take a cab.  It was only about $15 to the airport so not bad.

Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted by the friendly staff and was able to check in right away.  They were helpful with dining choices around the area as well as other transportation if needed. The rooms were very spacious and clean.  The bedroom area is almost separated from the living room/desk area.  A mini refrigerator was also in the room.  I didn't need it but great for those guests staying more than one night.

Hyatt Place has the 24/7 Cafe in which you can order from your room... obviously 24/7.    It was late so I ordered their turkey club with garlic aioli on sourdough.  Great!  It was huge and couldn't finish it all but really satisfied my hunger.  

Staff and drivers at this hotel are friendly and go the extra mile for guests.  Enjoy your stay!
