I am giving this MOTEL, Motel 6 five stars. I rented two rooms, one smoking one non smoking. I am rating the staff at 3.5stars, they will not go above and beyond, but they are efficient and friendly. The smoking room smelled far better than any smoking room I have ever stayed at, the fact that it was wood flooring and brand new ac units was probably the reason. We used the smoking room to get ready for a  ladies night out. That means 8 women in one room with multiple full size makeup cases (a few of them are professional make up artist) applying  make up, drinking and partying while also doing our hairs yet the room was comfortable with just the right amount of space we needed. The motel seems to be under renovation which was nice.  Everything was clean, exterior, the rooms, bedding and bathroom included. It is in a central location between the Hard Rock and downtown/Las Olas area meaning cab rides where under $15 to go anywhere. It met and exceeded my expectation for a motel. I looked into hotels in the area for several weeks,  I would go and visit the hotels asked to be shown available rooms, then would ask for price.  At $180 (final cost, tax+ charges already included) the price is impossible to beat to what you are getting.

Wow I have never given anyone a one/star!! We used clc  because of the price in the area. well the room was ok . newly remodeled with Ikea type furniture. Tastefully done for Motel 6. everything worked fine . had to pay for wifi 2.99 or 5.00 for fast speed but only one devise! LOL Usually don't stay with motels with numbers but we thought what thee heck only one nite.. U do hear everyone outside, no carpets either. the staff is the main complaint at desk. Check in went ok but weird the one girl had to get help  to ck us in. In morning we had to fight for our 24 hr room since we cked in around 8pm ( ck out b4 8pm nxt nite) The wknd mgr hung up on my husband when we were verifying ck out time! Well hence to phone call to Corporate Lodging customer service. Well the outcome was WE right! Even if they bill us another day CLC will make sure we only pay for one nite. Well this is only time here... too much drama..lol

I gave it one star because I have to. My husband booked a weekend here a few months in advanced for the tortuga concert. First off for a motel they're highly priced, second he booked 2 nights in a non smoking room. I have asthma, and being in an environment around smokers will cause and asthma attack. When we checked in (they deducted the payment hours before we even got here) they said we were only booked for 1 night, and we didn't have a room for the next night. They also put us in a smoking room, as soon as you open the door the cigarette stench smacks you in the face. We weren't the only ones who had that problem. There were tons of people who booked in advanced and paid in full and did not have a room to stay in for the weekend. Apparently they were selling the rooms at a higher price to people walking right in! It's ridiculous. We showed our confirmation to the receptionist and they said they can't do anything about it. A business that operates like this and cheats its customer and doesn't stay true to its contract should be held responsible and liable for all expenses that the customer has to go through.

I'll give This hotel a negative ZERO! !!! The name should be called ROACH MOTEL! !!! We saw a big roach on the wall at the Check-in desk and the reservation girl just knocked it off the wall like it was nothing...I also saw a baby roach in the bathroom!

This place truly is a dump.  Mind you, I stayed for 2 nights for business in which someone else picked this location out last minute and in a hurry.  Price was 45 to 50 dollars a night and not worth that.  I can't remember the last time a stayed in a Motel 6, but I promise you this will be.  The motel seems to have been renovated though it is beyond basic.  The bed and linens we uncomfortable, harsh, and cheap.  The room seemed to be clean, but the bad lighting mixed with the minimal ammenties and quality of bedding truly made being there depressing.  Look elsewhere, deals are everywhere, even stopping for the night isn't worth it.

The hotel was renovated and our room was nice but bed was uncomfortable!!! Hallways smelled so bad like stale cigs. Also no mini fridge so we had to keep our drinks on ice in the sink. Pool was nice but closed at 9.. Actually was a decent hotel for the price until I saw a giant roach in the bathroom. Now we have to make sure were not bringing any nasty bugs home to infest our house. No shampoo or conditioner either you have to bring your own or pay $3 in vending machine for a small packet. Other than the roach I would've rated this place a 3.5-4 stars but that just totally grossed me out.

1 star wouldn't even rate this hotel.
Last week, my husband and I rented a room with these guys for the weekend. We put our bags down, change and go out. We come back to find baby roaches on the wall near the beds, on the bathroom walls, and trying to crawl from underneath our suitcases. Marijuana smell down the hall and a skiddish rent-a-cop asking random questions.

I'm staying here right now, 01/13/15, what a mistake. I reserved room via Hotels.com and asked the person to confirm the motel had free shuttle from the airport which I was told was 3 miles away. I was also told they had free wi Fi in the guest rooms.  I have metal hips so I also requested a room on the ground floor.
When I arrived last night at the airport and called the motel for their shuttle I was told they did not have one.  I took a 21.00 cab. At check in I was told wi fi was $2.99 extra for slow speed and $4.99 for hi speed. What a rip off.
The desk clerk, Stanley, who was super nice, said they didn't have anymore rooms on the ground floor so my choice was to forfeit my 3 night prepaid fee with Hotel.com or try to lug my two suitcases up the stairs. I reluctantly chose the later. My room was the farthest room from the front desk. The halls smelled like cigarette and  marihuana  and missing the typical room direction signs so one has to put up with smelly halls while navigating to the rooms. My metal hips were pissed at the stairs.
The room floors did not have any carpet (IKEA plastic wood) so not only was the floor cold, I could hear every pitter-patter of every one in the adjoining rooms.
I didn't get to post this last night so more now. This morning I requested 4 extra towels so I can lay them on the plastic wood floor and requested they change my sheets. They failed to change the sheets and did not leave me any towels. I called the front desk and was told there was no one that can bring me any towels. I asked them to have the security guard bring them. They said OK. 10 minutes later a pissed off guard brought me the towels and warned me it would be the last time he will bring towels.  What a jerk, like he had nothing else to do.
    My advice, don't believe Hotel.com .

The hallways looked dingy and smelled of smoke. There were some cigarette burns on the comforter and my floor. But the bathroom was very clean, so... I guess you get what you pay for?

Didn't really have any issues, but don't forget your earplugs. You can hear every dog, child, man, woman, and phone in the motel from the comfort of your bed.

Also, Motel 6s don't have shampoo? Apparently this is a thing. They should really re-think the decision to save 10 cents, because it really annoyed me to have to drive to a grocery store at midnight to get some.
