First off - this ain't the Hilton or the Embassy Suites. If you are looking for fancy - look elsewhere. If you are looking for a large clean room with the best customer service you can imagine at a price so cheap you can't believe something isn't wrong with it - THIS IS THE PLACE! One block off the beach but we could see the ocean from the front window of our room. There's not much in the way of shopping or restaurants within about 1/4 of a mile but tons of great places if you don't mind walking a 1/2 mile or so. We didn't mind walking! We stayed here while waiting to leave on a cruise and it was some of the nicest time of our vacation. The family that owns and runs the place is from Argentina and they have brought a very personal kind of lodging service to the US with them. The mother helped us carry our bags to the second floor even though we begged her not to. The elevator has been out for some time and the city won't give them a permit to fix it unless they enlarge the elevator which means destroying at least three rooms. It's only three stories and the stairs are wide but if that bothers you - be aware. We paid $65 per night for an oceanview room with a full kitchen and our friends stayed at another hotel not too far away for $180 per night. I think I can walk a flight of stairs for those savings. While getting settled in I found I had locked a suitcase but left the keys at home. When I asked the father if he might have some "suitcase" keys I could try he gave me a large key ring with about 100 keys on it. The second one I tried opened the suitcase. I guess this isn't the first time this has happened and they were well prepared. When I asked where I could buy a few bottles of water he gave me two bottles of water - on the house. They have dozens of DVD's in the lobby that you can borrow (free) and play in your room. Most of the titles were recent and there was a good variety of genres. Free high speed internet access in the lobby with three computers ready for guest use. The son provided us with great restaurant and attraction suggestions and was very very helpful. We felt like we were part of the family but they were not pushy or intrusive - they just made us feel at home. For example, on our last night we walked away from the hotel to get some dinner. About one block away the bottom fell out of the sky and it started pouring rain. We sought shelter in the entrance to another hotel and when I looked up the father was running through the rain to bring us two umbrellas. You won't find that at Marriott or Sheraton. The hotel, price, and location would get a four by themselves but with the friendly attention you get - it's at least five stars +. I don't hand out too many five stars - check my "about me" page. This is five stars for sure.

It is 11:30 and premiere hotel has just kicked us out of a prepaid for three nights room because we had some complaints about the room, smelly, cramped. They didn't have any other rooms . We decided to stay because we were told there would be no refund. Next thing we know the hotel calls us in the room to say we had to leave. They even called the police. We are three adults in our mid fifties! This is the worst service and the stranded exoerience ever. My friend who booked the room will definitely be pursuing recourse.
DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE
Zero stars but I had to pick something to post

I can't say enough about The Premier!! This a family owned motel, a half block off the beach, with their own pool as well, and free underground parking.
The rooms are modest, but more than enough. We were there for the beach, and they were did a great job of accomadating us. I would reccommend them to anyone going to Ft Lauderdale!!

Just left a fancy hotel to stay at a more reasonably priced place. Took a $60 cab ride to the Premiere and found out the cabbie didn't "take credit." Without even asking, the family at the front desk defended us and payed the bill out of pocket. The then showed us to our room and gave us two drinks for our trouble.
If this doesn't convince you of the type of people that run this hotel, then I don't know what will. I really can't say enough about this place (very cliched, but still very true). If you're looking for a nice place to stay right by the beach, then look no further.

I have stayed here twice in the last 2yrs. Its a family owned hotel with great customer service. Its not a fancy hotel, but it has a retro feel to it.
Plus: clean rooms, great customer service, close to beach, restaurants nearby
Cons: older hotel, parking spaces are tight, loud wall units

My boyfriend and I were looking for a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance to the beach. This one was spot on! It's seriously less than a block away from the water and very affordable compared to other hotels in the area.
It's walking distance to the shops and restaurants (10-15 minutes) and about a mile walk to the Galleria.
The customer service was amazing! The family was so friendly and very accommodating. One night around 10pm (front office door still open!) we went in to ask to rent a DVD from the front desk and one of the sons was very helpful and even got us a new release. The next day we needed to get back to the airport to pick up our rental car and asked them what was the best alternative other than a taxi. The father then offered to give us a FREE ride to the airport at 8am to pick up our car. SO NICE!
The rooms were clean and the beds were SO comfortable. Everything worked, the AC got cold, showered were fine, and we had a kitchen in our room so it was great to cook some meals. Also, they have free parking underneath in a covered garage. Pool is great as well.
My only complaint would be the noise in the neighboring room. The walls are not very sound proof and we could hear chairs scooting across the floor some and a couple fighting one morning. Nothing too obnoxious and nothing the owners can control so it definitely won't be a factor in us coming back to visit again!
I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for easy beach, shops, and restaurant access at an affordable price. Thank you Mario and family for a great time!

I'm a fan.
As a frequent visitor to Florida I have stayed in many hotels, motels, inns, guesthouses, couches etc...
I've stayed at the Premiere for my past 3 visits and I must say its a good value, clean, close to the beach and has an awesome staff. This is an older 1960's type motel/hotel with fantastic character.
Close to the beach.
Great customer service.
Trustworthy staff and family run.
WiFi/internet access in all rooms.
Access to pool, beach towels, and beach chairs.
Rooms have small kitchens.
Going through progressive updates.
Rooms go fast and are not always available.
Parking can be tight.

As our vacation closes I thought I'd give a final thought on our hotel. I must say I saw a bit weary at first, cause honestly I'm used to staying in super nice hotels with my parents. But since they paid for our room, this is what they chose. I can honestly say im glad I got to stay here. It's right next to the beach and all the action. It's clean and comfortable. We got the super small room, and we were more than happy. For the budget conscious couple it's a perfect little room. We paid about 60-70 a night and that's a steal. There are other hotels in the area at a cheaper price point, but they have had some bad reviews so this actually why my dad chose this place- cause of the reviews on trip advisor were excellent. It's rated in the top ten with them.
Like in my previous review, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but the family who owns it and runs it are amazing. They are super nice, and would give the shirt of their back for anyone. They are an honest, hard working family and they are running their business the best they can. While we were staying here, they were working on the room next door, they are re modeling! We got to see some of the progress, and it's going to be nice. And they are respectful enough to wait until 10 am to start work and end it at around 7-8 pm I'm guessing. Never bothering us too much. When we couldn't find parking in their garage, the owners son always moved his truck so we could park. They are all very personable. You can tell they care about their hotel and it's guests. The owner also welcomed us with beer! How cool is that, after a long day of traveling from California. The air conditioner in the rooms works great and has a remote so you don't have to get out of bed lol.
Over all I highly recommend premier hotel of you want great service and cost savings. Don't go anywhere else! I can't thank the family enough for the great experience.
